First time here, had some lunch with friends and family. Good choice on a menu, was nice to sit outside with a view to the river. Plenty of tables outside

Food pretty average for the money, would not return.

Loads of outdoor seating next to the river good food a little pricey and portions weren't the largest but was still good dog friendly with water bowls for them but they were all dirty doesn't take much to look after the 4 legged customers

Went in here last Sunday while on holiday in Norfolk what a beautiful location and the staff were so friendly and welcoming thanks so much for a lovely time in ur pub can't wait to go back there when we back in Norfolk and forgot to mention Sean nothing to much trouble for him mooring the boats he is such a friendly and helpful fella always av a chat with him about football, see you in October when me and my wife are on holiday in Norfolk👍

Met someone here who was selling a boat, been to Horning 3 times but first time at this pub, service was superb, location was perfect, plenty of room inside as most people was sat outside, I had a chicken salad it was very tasty and an unusual mix of salad but for £15 I would have expected more salad and I wished I'd had brought some fries to go with it as I was left hungry, my son had the prawn and calamari starter as he wasn't very hungry unfortunately it was stone cold he should have taken it back as I'm sure they would have sorted it but he didn't, would I eat there again yes I would

Came here by chance to have small bites and drinks, so please we found this pub , service was very good also food was tasty 😋

Ate at the New Inn Horning. Whilst the main meal was nice, I ordered a side of seasonal veg. All I can say is it must of been a bad season as quantity was tiny. 1/2 a sliced carrot, 1/3 of a sliced parsnip and 1 piece of tenderstem broccoli for £3.50. Please see attached photo and don't waste your money ordering anything extra.

Absolutely fab place! Straight from the start the service was awesome. We arrived by ⛵ and the gentleman (mooring man) expertly guided us in (very very helpful for a novice captain) a true gent also. We decided to stay the night for a reasonable fee (free if just stopping for a drink or bite to eat). The Inn was lovely, loads of seating inside and out. All the staff were friendly and couldn't do anymore to make you feel welcome. The food was spot on! - the beef rib just fell off the bone !, my wife went for a veg Tortellini, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend if you are boating on the broads !

Loved mooring up at this pub. Didn't try their food, but it did look nice. Lovely place to sit, and they love you bringing your dogs with you and giving them biscuits too. Never tried the rooms, so I can't comment.But if it's anything like the pub and friendly staff, then I would definitely stay there.

A group of 10 of us (6 adults, 4 children including a family of 4 vegans) just turned up at 5.30pm on a Friday night and were warmly welcome. We chose to sit outside but when it became a bit chilly the staff quickly sorted a table inside for us. Service was really quick and took care considering our dietary requirements even coming out to check if we wanted vegan ice cream deserts for the children. The food was all really tasty with decent portions. Sophie served us at the bar and sorted our tables so thank you very much Sophie!!

Great location. We arrived on our day boat and the pub had a staff member guiding boats into the moorings. Free to moor up as long as you use the pub - so off for a pint we went! They're dog friendly so we got 2 pints and a doggy dinner (unexpected but she was hungry!) and it cost just over a tenner which isn't bad! Would definitely stop here again!

I'm in two minds about this place. Some of the areas of the pub have been really nicely renovated (such as outside, which is riverside), but then there are other areas that resemble that of a grotty old pub (toilets and bar area). Only two staff members are permitted to make coffee. We tried to order certain drinks off their menu (signature sodas) and the staff didn't know what they were, it seems that Head Office added them to the menu but didn't tell anyone else or provide the stock. The chap who assisted with the moorings riverside was very helpful and friendly. There are spaces for around 8-10 small day boats to moor stern on and it's free if you eat/drink in the pub. The food menu is quite good with a decent range of light bites, sandwiches, burgers and full meals all served from 1100. The children's menu is a main and a dessert for £5.50. Breakfast is also served before lunch service starts.

We had a meal here on the evening of my husband's birthday. Bar staff were great but the menu was extremely limited. We had fish and chips - nicely presented, lovely fresh fish but tasteless frozen chips. Quick service. It's the location that sells this place.

Moored up on the off chance given they had a space, and decided to stay the night. Lunch and dinner was great. Kids menu was great value with decent portions. Will be back again in a few days.

Lovely place to sit, eat and drink-- and watch the boats attempting to moor up-- the laughing never stops!! 🤭. Eddie, the mooring attendant is brilliant at his job-- his patience is beyond belief!! The young lady server never stopped, and was such a darling!! Would highly recommend a visit-- you won't be disappointed!! 👍.

Sophie and the team looked after us so well. Lovely food in a great spot by the water. Coke floats were an absolute winner!

Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful location. Lots of seating, inside and out as well as undercover. My husband had sausage roll with apple sauce £6.00. He said it was delicious. I shared bbq chicken wings, garlic bread and a portion of chips with the kids. Also very tasty. I was personally happy as they sell Peroni lol!

A stunning little pub on the riverside with a number of customer moorings. The staff were simply brilliant and welcoming. A great menu and selection of beers. One of the highlights of our week.

The meal was just OK, 3 of us had the steaks and we all agreed they weren't the best, service could be better, asked for a jug of water, we were then asked do you require glasses, did they expect us to drink out of the jug.

Went for lunch and all 3 meals were poor. The friendly and helpful staff member told us that they are having numerous problems with the same chef. We got refunded and new food ordered which was still poor. Location , terrace staff all good but do not go here for food.

Hired a boat from Wroxham for a birthday celebration. I’d booked a table for lunch here. Beautiful place to stop. On arrival, we were helped with mooring and exiting the boat. They’d been left a bit short staffed but the staff were incredible under pressure and made everyone feel welcome. Great selection of drinks. The menu had plenty of choice, including vegan options - and vegan desert! Delicious food. Highly recommend.

Wonderful waterside pub with great beers and food! We moored at the decently sized marina outside and enjoyed our time thoroughly.

The food was really nice and at a good price. However do not use the app as starter and main come at the same time.. we weren't aware of this and ended up eating both the main and starter at the same time with little explanation or apology from the server who just dismissed it as being our fault for ordering on the app. It was a shame as this kind of put a downer on what would've been a really enjoyable meal.

We had a Lovely Lunch today very friendly staff and helpful in anyway. Sophie is very friendly and is a Credit to The New Inn, Horning, Norfolk would recommend to all my Family and Friends.

Great wholesome food and service. The staff were great and nothing was too hard. I had order dessert past the closing time but they didn’t fuss. I would strongly recommend eating here 😄

Had a great lunch during our day out on the Broads. Staff helped us to moor the boat. Sat outside next to the water with our dogs. It was possible to order on line through their app but chose to go indoors and order direct. Was welcomed by the very efficient staff who asked all the right questions. Food arrived promptly and was excellent (so good we had seconds). Great experience and well priced. Well worth the stop.

I managed to grab the last space in a small car park next to the pub. On a busy summers day, I think they could offer table service as a lone traveller it was difficult to wait at the bar and order with a couple of my possessions saving the table outside. Food was delicious and served quickly. Nice outdoor seating area by the river watching small boats come and go. A snippet of paradise could easily be on a Greek island.

We stopped here for lunch on our day boat and the staff, especially Laura, were fantastic, helping us dock the boat, get my wheelchair bound 94 year old mother off and on the boat! They have loads of outdoor seating with umbrellas and an expansive food and beverage menu as well. We loved it here!

Great spot to moor up and grab lunch or dinner. Also accessible by road, although parking seems limited (although there is a car park 5 minute walk away). Food is tasty and well priced. Bar was a little slow but everyone was working hard to get through orders. Dogs are well looked after and even have their own menu!

Mooring staff very friendly, Eddie in particular also very knowledgeable with places locally, where to visit and moor up. Shame the boat Omega didn’t meet up to the standards of the beautiful location and friendliness as the Inn. Food was also fantastic and great value for money. A definite reason to visit.

We went here on Sunday for lunch during our boat stay on the broads. They were on hand to guide us into a mooring spot which we had pre-booked. The atmosphere and indoor dining area was lovely and staff welcoming. Good food with plenty of choices. Will visit again.

Called in on Wednesday lunch time, must say the barmaid was rather dull & not very welcoming also when I gave her the odd 5pence when our drinks came to £6.05 so I wouldn't get a pocket full of change left her totally flummoxed, she said the extra 5p would upset her till and leave her float short ! Also took many dogs, dogs, dogs and more dogs. I find dogs unhygienic and don't think they should be in dining rooms. I do realise that British society is now generally obsessed with dogs in the absence of children. As a half bred gypsy I find it extremely difficult even to accept that dogs should even be allowed indoors let alone sit at the table during meal times The young boy who served us was very friendly and attentiv A corner of the dining room should be a dog free zone. The bar staff need to be more welcoming. The food was ok, ordinary. Could be a lot better if it didn't resemble a rest room from Battersea dogs' home !

A beautiful riverside location perfect for food and drinks! I love this place so much that I've chosen it for my graduation meal in July. The food is excellent and great value for money, and the staff are incredibly friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely meal with drinks at the New Inn. We sat next to the water watching the boats go by, very nice and relaxing. A must-do if you’re in the area.

The food was wonderful. We had the Hunters Chicken, Spicy Burger and the Gammon. Everyone loved their meals. The location was just what we wanted...a river view. Can't fault the place!

Beautiful spot on the side of the broads with loads of mooring space and plenty of very nice outdoor seating. Food was excellent and the staff were all very friendly.

This is a lovely place to have a meal out. You can eat outside and watch the boats pass by, or eat indoors. The food was amazing the service was good, the staff were very friendly and helpful. My family will visit again next time we are here on holiday. Thank you.

We were a group of 5. Saturday lunchtime 27th April. Didn't book because normally quiet out of season.. Was heaving and no tables. We were accomdated as soon as a table was available. We have been many times as we have a boat on the marina directly opposite the pub ... I found the whole staff very friendly and helpful and just so nice. It's a lovely local pub . We really all enjoyed our lunch. We were table 17 . Thank you NEW INN. We had a great time

Friendly well located Inn with adequate parking and some mooring which I thought was expensive as unlike other locals they don't allow the mooring cost against their meals. Food was good and reasonable, good friendly service, some of the bar staff had good banter. Ales were lacking and not great but keg was ok.

Well what can I say.. This place is awful, the staff don't seem as if they want to be there. The food we had was shocking 3 of us had pies, hardly any meat in them ,soggy bottoms that were more like a suet pudding, mash potatoes were from a packet or frozen, carrot and parsnips were hardly cooked, it all seemed to have been heated up in the microwave and possibly some of it was reheated from the night before. We thought they done a roast dinner but they didn't, on the website it mentions a roast dinner, we witnessed 3 other people come in take their reserved seat then leave as they didn't do a roast and because basically they were ignored at the table. We won't be going again and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We moored here overnight during our boating holiday. The man that moored us up was very friendly and welcoming. We had an evening meal in the pub that was out of this world. Definitely will be coming back 😊

We stopped here for an evening meal. They were very accommodating with me being gluten-free. They don't list things as being gf on the menu and gave me a folder to check thing with allergies. Staff were friendly and very helpful

Amazing place to eat and to enjoy the river and the passing boats! We have stayed 2 hours outside to eat, to drink and was very beautiful! The prices for the place are ok, tasty food, good beers). Highly recommend! Will visit this place again! Thanks to all the personal for their service!

Didn't stay in the hotel, but the outdoor are is lovely. We didn't eat anything, but the food looked good. Plenty of seating and lovely views of the waterway.

Cracking pub. Found this on the journey home after a long day at BeWILDerwood. A group of 12 of us had a lovely meal, the team really attentive and the food was delicious. Highly recommended and will be back again!

This place saved our Easter Sunday holiday. We had a reservation at a place down the road called the Swan inn which we made over 2weeks in advance. We turned up 15 mins late, soaking wet and tired children (aged 8, 4, 3). After 5 mins of waiting to be seated we were told they could not accommodate us as we were 20 mins late and they needed to prioritise the food for the bookings after us. Feeling at a loss as it was Easter Sunday we tried our luck at the New inn and explained our situation. The staff were appalled at what we had experienced down the road and went out of their way to squeeze us in. We had a lovely meal and they were fantastic with our children too, bringing them chocolate treats and generally fussing over them. If we ever return to the Broads we will definitely come back to the New Inn. A huge thank you to all the lovely staff at the New inn.

A must visit when in horning. Great food great location, moorings to boot (stayed 2 nights), really nice staff couldn't find a better pub if you tried. Dog friendly too! You feel welcome when you walk through the door. What more could you want? If you’re on the Broads pay them a visit, New Inn doesn't disappoint!

We came here with friends for lunch. Was a lovely atmosphere 😍 and a great view of the broads. Friendly staff and the food was really tasty and well presented. Also dog friendly, which is a bonus. Will definitely come here again if in the area.

While staying in Horning we went to the New Inn for dinner with our dog. The pub is dog friendly and the staff made plenty of fuss of our dog (which he loved). The menu had a good choice! The food was fresh, really nice and tasty. If we come back to Horning we will pop into the New inn again either for drinks or dinner.

Came here with a group of 8 guys on a boati trip, mored up, ordered and our food was with us in under 15 minutes, I had one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life
