New GrillStop in Leicester

I like their indian cousine. Update: The owner of the place is different. I couldn't find anything to order for now. I guess I have to wait for a while until it gets back to full menu. Update: Their time table is wrong, on several occasions, they were not open at 11:00

Used to come here all the time when it first opened. It was downhill since the fish and chips fryer was added. Low quality: no quality control, staff basically throw the ingredients in and out. I decided to try the fish and chips, plus wings and I was disappointed. Fish was too salty, asked for sauces on the chips, wasn’t given any (considering Shazmins up the road does it and is their biggest competitor). Wings were fried so much they turned to dust when bitten, let alone the fact they weren’t breaded and were salty. The other reviews are fake and are the friends and family of the owners.

Very nice food with great customer service new ownership with various types of food Eat or collection available Tawa fish is best here!

Rubbish service under new management 40 min wait for chicken

Worst broast chicken and chicken wings in town. It’s completely unhealthy, oily and too salty.

i really didn’t recommend this takeaway shop because they charge me everytime 40 pence because i pay by card and not cash that’s not good .

Lovely food and staff, food is really tasty and well cooked. Good food packaging, clean and decent sitting arrangement if you are looking to sit and eat. Must try!

Recently ordered from Grillstop via just eat, highly recommend the chicken tikka and mutton biryanis, comes in lovely packaging with salad and mint yoghart, which is a lovely touch, accommodating portions, cant complain. Brilliant value and tastes amazing, I think I found my Biryani plug in Leicester. :)

I ordered chicken wings and Donner kebab through the app. The packaging and presentation part was very nice. But the taste was not so good and fresh, the chicken was old, rubbery and didn't have any taste to it and the Donner was also not good, it smelled like raw meat. Even the chips was soggy and not eatable. Kindly improve on the taste part and use fresh meat and chips! So the people eating here will want to visit again and not have any health or digestion issues, like I experienced. Thank you!

I ate chicken tikka biryani & special biryani... One of the best biryani takeaway one can ever have🤩🤩🤩 I love the tenderness of the meat & flavours of the Biryani.... The mint yougurt served with the biryani is out of this world🤩🤩

Amazing food and great customer service

Over lockdown I tried a lot of places that deliver food. None that wowed me until I found this place. Happy to pay delivery for the distance. The kebabs and the chicken madras are amazing. This is my go to place now when I want a delivery. 100% worth it. Keep up the great standards guys

Paneer Tikka Masala is bland hardly any flavour, Chicken Korma is far too sweet, and christ 7.80 is far too expensive for a freaking curry

Lamb biriani is the best I have tasted great value for money 💷

Was lovely when it first opened, up until near March 2020 time. Visited 3 times, and all the time their chicken seemed non-fresh, slightly burnt, almost as if it had been kept on the grill too long. Tasted as if it had been re warmed instead cooked /grilled freshly. I definitely feel the standard has dropped somewhat, not sure why. Lovely people and customer service, would love to see the quality of food go back to how it was pre covid!

Very good food in terms of timing, price, quality, quantity. I would say the best grill foods I have tasted amongst all the takeaways i have tried in highfield, i recomend this place to all my family, freands, and my relatives because they're quality of food is very nice specially the lemon chicken, and place is very nice as well as their hiegine I would give 10/10.

£7.20 for mutton curry. Just the curry. No rice, naan, roti, bread anything. Mutton is not expensive its much cheaper than lamb. This is a rip off. Bombay street food its £5 with rice and naan and tastes Just as good if not better.

All the food was great but it was abit oily and greasy

Friendly service, food arrived early, salad and donner fresh. However, chicken was bland, far too much oil with chops and wings. Peri was dry. Nothing really special.

Forget Shazmin's sweet Donner, this place reminds me of what Leicester was back in the good old days.

Made our first order today..arrived on time with a friendly delivery driver...the food was hot and absolutely delish....we had the family grill box and it did not disappoint in the slightest...tasty and just spicy enough..will definitely be ordering again x keep up the fab work.....

Overcooked chicken asked for peri chicken was covered in ketchup sauce. My partner loves spicy food but the curry box meal he got was too spicy over 50 chillies in there n naan was in the curry soggy n vile will never go here again 😒

OK so I used this place a few times whilst working in the local area. First couple of times I can say I enjoyed, special doner wrap meal. Tasty, cheap and hit the spot. 3rd time of visiting I fancied something different and asked about the chicken wrap. To be told they have tandoori chicken prepared a little bit spicy if I fancied that instead of the southern fried. So I had that. 2 hours later I was taken ill and the next 2 days I spent in bed suffering from food poisoning!

Honestly, one of the best places to eat in Leicester. Food is amazing and freshly cooked to order. Prices are really good for what you get. Highly recommend the chicken tikka and naga donner box. Only downside is having to wait a while for the food, but definitely worth the wait as it’s fresh and always delicious!

I ordered a large meal box chicken tikka and chicken jalfrezi box with naan and chicken wings but I didn’t got the naan. So I contacted them and some the dude said that it must be in the box but there was nothing and they ended the call land laughed out......

Fantastic service from the lads working there and the food is just as good. Highly recommended. You have earned a few more regular customers.
