The best Chinese in Sherwood by far!

Trying to be fair but had to wait 1hr 55mins for food which was cold. Good portions, suspect the food if hot would be decent, but over half went in the bin because it had clearly been standing for a long long time. I suspect they are nice folk, but if you are struggling, say so when you take the order. For us it was an evening ruined.

Deliver was 30 minutes late but was worth waiting for nice and hot will order again soon

most dishes were OK, chips were cold, salt and pepper chicken was very dry, Cury sauce was lovely

food was extremely bland! prawn toast was 2 slices of bread pushed together burnt and very cold when it arrived. the prawn crackers was lovely and crispy but that's the only good thing about a £59 order! avoid

We had a fantastic takeaway from here, by far the best Chinese take away we have had for a long time, very tasty, great portions, everything was excellent.

Don't you just love it when you invite family round for a movie night. All agree to order over £60 worth of Chinese, for it to turn up over and hour late and the food freezing cold. We'll never order from here again!

the rice was all together and not nice at all no taste to it what so ever and the curry well what can I say u couldn't call it a curry every thing was cold and not nice at all it went in the bin

large portion, arrived hot(ish) and early. Prices seemed a few quid cheaper than others as well.

Chow main was lovely. Shame that all the items ordered that were fried was not great. Really stodgy and greasy. Like it wasn’t fried in hot enough or fresh oil. Luke warm. Had orders from here previously and tasted so different.

This really was awful. Food was late and cold. I don't remember the last meal I couldn't eat. Chowmein awful I threw it in the bin and even the prawn crackers were stale. Will not use again.

My order came very late it took 2 hours to get to me I kept on calling them and was told it was on the way the food was very cold the spring roll became very soggy

I received no response on the app to say my order was on its way. I had to contact the restaurant to find out where my.order was after it was late. I was told it was with the driver. Food arrived, the rice was luke warm and very stodgy.

Amazing food and a great meal deal!

Delivery driver claimed to have rang my phone but my phone history shows that I didn't get any calls from him until AFTER the restaurant rang me and asked to confirm my number. He wouldn't have had to wait so long if he had asked the restaurant to confirm my number earlier. He also could have tried texting me if phone calls weren't going through. I apologised that he had to wait but he was rude back. Left a sour taste in my mouth, sure the food is great but I probably won't be ordering from here again.

Food is always delicious and hot

Delicious food, though slightly late and not very hot. Nothing a microwave couldn't fix though, and very tasty so we didn't mind too much.

Food was nice but wasn't very hot which ruined the experience with come to this Chinese for first time, had to phone up as my food hasn't arrived after 45 minutes to find out it been delivered to wrong house and had to confirm about 5 times that I didn't receive it. They did redelivery a new order to right address.

Rice wasn’t cooked through bit hard. Black bean dish was very fresh and not as spicy as mentioned. Highly disappointed in the late delivery being my first time ordering.

The food was delivered late, it was not very warm. The driver was not very friendly, no apology for being late, he insisted on calling my phone when he arrived instead of using the buzzer that he was standing next to. Made me come to the main door to open it. He said he didn't use the buzzer because 'that won't open the door'. I kept the tip that I had in my hand. The food was OK after going in the microwave, but I wouldn't rush to use them again.

We have ordered from this Chinese 3 times in the last couple of months on a family recommendation. I have had to chase every order, not one has been delivered on time and tonight's was 30mins late and cold. I'm afraid I would not recommend and I will not order from here again.

Curry was perfect this time but noodles still on the over cooked side but they are getting better they even called me to ask about the curry because of last time

My duck was was dry, old and the bone was just that, an old bone it was almost entirely grizzle. The rice and noodles tasted reheated and was not a pleasant experience.

An average Chinese takeaway, nothing too good, but nothing bad as well. Delivered on time. Edit: Shame, declined my order after almost an hour. Reason being, "too far". Ordered from here multiple times, but I guess I'll be looking for a new takeaway.

I've had 100s of takeaways & never felt the need to leave a review, mainly because my opinion of our takeaways down here in Notts is just " okay ", but this place genuinely deserves it! A friend of mine suggested the place a few weeks ago & I've finally got a chance to try it, the person who took the order was really nice & cheerful which is NEVER the case at most takeaways, ordered for collection and by the time I'd walked there it was all ready! & As for the food, really decent prices considering I got an absolutely ridiculous amount and couldn't bring myself finish the prawn crackers at the end, and it isn't " quantity over quality " because everything I ordered was a solid 10/10, was also still red hot by the time I'd walked home... So in conclusion, stop debating it and make an order because I guarantee it'll become a new local favorite because it has with me ☺️

Needed a bit more sauce and there wasn’t much heat in the main. Soup was lovely and tasty with plenty of ‘solids’
