We've been here several times and it's really good value. The fish is absolutely beautiful and it's good to have the pot of tea with it. Unfortunately, they forgot our rolls/butter today, which are usually lovely, warm and crusty, but they were busy, so that's probably why. The staff are lovely, friendly and the service is efficient. We enjoy going there and would thoroughly recommend it.

This place is terrible. Greasy soggy chips are not the one. I’m guessing this place is only still open due to its position. I was disappointed on my first visit but thought I’d give it another chance but the second visit only confirmed what I learnt of my first. To sum it up, average to poor fish and terrible chips served with a smile.

Visited here last Friday for lunch whilst in Lyndhurst. Wow! Excellent lunchtime deal - cod/haddock, chips, mushy peas/curry sauce, roll and butter and a drink all for £11.95. Bargain. Good sized portion, excellently cooked food and delivered with a smile. Would highly recommend and will return when staying in the Forest again. Thank you!

Excellent fish and chips. We don’t live near here but visit Lyndhurst and surrounding area a few times a year. We have eaten here each time and the food has consistently been very high quality. Cannot fault it. Very highly recommended.

After being tempted by wafting aromas of fish, chips and vinegar. We opt for the set meal Cod, Unlimited Chips, Mushy peas and drink all for £15.95. Amazing food well worth the diversion of our original plan of pasty. Excellent, food, service and relaxed atmosphere 😋

Lives up to its name! We came in for a late lunch, 2 adults 2 small children. All portions were generous, the kids’ especially so. Food was excellent, tasty without the the usual dose of grease that you get in lots of chippys! We ate in and the service was good too, the person who served us couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you very much, we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

A clean and tidy, dog friendly establishment. We were greeted and seated by a young man who was very polite and professional. He brought water out for our dogs within a few minutes. Food orders in, food was delivered promptly and was delicious! Crispy batter and succulent white cod. Curry sauce was tasty too! We all enjoyed our meals! Highly recommended!

This fish and chip shop has one side serving take away and the other being a sit down restaurant. In the restaurant side you could even take your own bottle of wine! We had some delicious cod/haddock and chips which were excellent. All served by a very attentive and friendly young man. Even when the place filled up the young man continued to look after everyone with a smile. Thoroughly recommended.
