New Darbar Cafe in Luton

Came here for breakfast and I have been here for lunch before and each time I have been impressed by everything from the food to the service. Would highly recommend!

I’ve not been here before but a friend recommended trying it out. The restaurant is tucked away a little and free parking isn’t available. The inside is clean and spacious with good seating. We ordered the Halwa, Puri, Chana and Paratha with Egg and some tea. The potion was huge and tasty. Well worth the money. The only downer was that the food was served in dribs and drabs. So we waited for the whole order to be served before we ate. By then my Halwa, Puri and Chana was pretty cold. Apart from that no issues. The staff are very nice. If all the food had been served at the same time my rating would have been 5 stars.

Looked like a chicken shop, but they shed serve amazing authentic curry. Recommend the saag paneer and the parathas

This place has definitely improved alot cleaner and food is very nice customer service is on point thumbs up

Best place in town, masala fish is great

Mashallah a great place for alo paratha, plain paratha and karak chaye...made our morning today (8 June 2024), very good value for money...great big size paraths, 2 were very enough for 2 adults and 2 kids....will come back soon inshallah. Deal in pic with 2 chaye is for £11.

Bought some eggs and paratha and some tea, the egg had no salt and no taste and also bit pricey tbh

Came here for the first time from watford , I really enjoyed the paya curry and parantha with desi chai. I must say the taste of all the items were on point can’t fault it .

This place is good serves very traditional Pakistani style curries non of that fabrication that most so called Indian restaurants sell

Got food from here many times, ive had biryani and curries and everytime they were spot on. They are better than some big restaurants in Luton

We used to love this place and go there atleast 2 times a week but not anymore. They over charged us before we didn't know until we checked the menu price. We did the calculation to find out we have been over charged by £8 each vist. The staff are not friendly. Always packed with people who are staring at you while you are eating. They don't have a toilet. Not recommended for family place to eat as there is no privacy if a female is with you. Specially people staring at your face. As a men it make me uncomfortable let alone how a women would feel. Very disappointed

This was my first order(aloo matter) from new darbar cafe.i had parathy aswell other day that was good in size and quantity am glad to say that mashallah mashallah it's so delicious 🤤.it reminds me Pakistani taste and the gentle man on the front desk (areel) was so nice in dealing and customer service.mau Allah give you more success.i will definitely come back to you guys keep it up

Our favourite place to go for authentic Desi food … we have been there 3 times and so far we have had nihari, lamb curry, chicken curry, chana daal, mug daal and parathas….. I can recommend all the items in full faith! Definitely recommend! 💯 People mostly get take outs … me and my husband personally prefer dining in as we enjoy their freshly served parathas !! Definitely budget friendly!! Meal deals starting from 15-20 pounds … enough for 2 people … can even feed 4 people. So definitely visit ! ❤️

Much better desi halal food place. Lamb karahi & chicken kabab are amazing. Last night, i bought paya dish, but unfortunately, it was not up to the mark.

I order Lamb Curry was not cook at all lamb so hard very much disappointed some other food was good but to small portion.

One of the best desi food options in Luton. It has improved alot after the new management took over. I stop by quite often to get food for my breakfast or lunch. Good options with great taste!

Food is now rubbish. Get Stomach upset last two orders. V disappointed. Another luton food place is become useless.

Outclass food and customer services

Used to be a nice place but now ther is poor customer service. I went for chicken sikh kebabs. They were mushy and full of gram flour and they caused a very upset stomach afterwards.

Food Quality needs some improvement

Darbar Cafe is really waste of money and time never ever eat from their very unhygienic place, food quality is very very poor I was very disappointed.

Qualitative food, as compared to price cheap from others, And good in taste from others. Good customer service Specially, alo paratha, naan, tea, chana curry and nihari is delicious, However nihari is more taste as lahori boong than nihari even taste is very good.

Best food . Have a try , you will like authentic taste of punjabi Indian, Pakistan, and Afghani taste .ask then about your spicy intake . Food is little spicy but tasty .

rubbish food. the place is full of uneducated people and they cant cook . the guy put chips in a wrap and they keep the same food in the fridge for months i went another time and they sold Rubicon (from a multi pack -not to be sold individually) for a £1 each. the chips were very soggy and tasted like paper. this is not exaggeration. the mayo is very very old and they keep it there for over 3 months.same for the kebabs fish and other things. worst restaurant ever and very unhygienic
