Wow! Unexpected gem of a restaurant. We went for dinner and had a great time - fantastic appetizers (the duck, the prawns, spare ribs, and the house-made pork dumplings were all excellent), sizable and tasty mains as well. Above that, really amazing service with some of the nicest staff you'll find. We hadn't had a great Chinese food meal like this since we moved to London, so great to find this place!

The Food quality has declined so much for this place over the last decade and a half. They made the shift from house made dumplings and noodle to store bought (as far as I can tell, or at least with much cheaper ingredients), and they are some of the most expensive dumplings you can find at any casual chinese restaurant in London. Seriously sad considering how nice the codfish and spinach dumplings, the pork dumplings, the chao mian, the fried rice, the meat dishes, and everything else used to be. this place is a shadow of what it used to be and the new decor really reflects that. They've been through several interiors, but the first was the most chic. The turquoise and red is quite tacky and bizarre. The waiters are still friendly, however. I really used to vouch for this place, as it is a great spot, but honestly it is one of the biggest scams in london at this point; you'll end up paying over 20 pounds a head and you will get seriously subpar food.

Some of the best service we've had in London! The crispy shredded beef was excellent. The Singapore Noodles and Fried Rice were also very tasty.

Superb xiao long bao, wonderful char siu and great chicken dumplings. And the Malaysian curry puffs are outstanding. Extremely friendly service too. Highly recommended.

Authentic and EXTREMELY tasty. Outside of China, I haven’t came across another Chinese restaurant in London with such delicious food. Freshly cooked and delivered - nice, chilled out eat in experience also. The staff are lovely and hospitable. I was very surprised that the rating is only 4.1. I personally recommend and rate this place.

Friendly staff, good food, fair price always worth a visit

Ordered on deliveroo. Over an hour for me and the driver to wait claiming they didnt get the order when they accepted it right away… no apologies, nothing. Also, £14 for a plate of broccoli ..

We went there for dinner with friends. The food was excellent. The service was great, the waiters were very friendly and attentive. We ordered a cross-section of the menu and everything was delicious. I will definitely go there again on my next visit to London.

We had the Chicken & Pineapple fried rice and Wonton soup. Both were excellent.

The below picture was £75 meaning that each dish was on average £15 each. That is insane. NOT HAPPY!!

I discovered this place a few years back and for me it's one of the best Chinese restaurants locally to me. We love the hot & sour soup - had two servings of it today - and the fried rice and stir frys are all very delicious. On my first visit I tried the dumplings with the soup inside and they're just as good now - I've been twice in the last week. Lovely food and friendly staff make this a family favourite.

Use to visit this place every time we went to London. Unfortunately as its on the King's Road the price to dine had doubled since our last visit. £100 for a Chinese takeaway for 2 with small beers for £6 reminds me of Mount Everest. Steep. The food is great and service decent. Shame we were the only ones there.

Have been going to NCR for around 25 years, and generally have stuck to the dishes i love, but so disappointed on the last two visits, the food isn't anywhere near as good...the starters were ok, but the main course (chow mein) was tepid, the plates were cold and the chicken was dry and tasteless as were the noodles...such a shame, They always used to cook everything freshly for you, I think that the dishes are now precooked and reheated which would at least explain the dried out chicken, but the noodles had no taste. I've recommended the place to so many people over the years, but probably will look for somewhere else now....it's sad because the staff are lovely and very attentive....maybe new recipes/chef are letting the place down.

Was looking for a new Chinese place as the 1 near me closed down. I must say this is my new favourite place to come to. I've been here 4 times now, hahaha. Love to Auntie Lilly. She always looks after us!

I've got to say, the dumplings are the best I've had in London. I'd highly recommend the pork dumplings! The servers are very kind and hilarious. You will feel welcomed here.

A truly delicious gem in the heart of the Kings Road. Amazing food (I had the ginger and spring onion chicken), and frankly some of the best service I've had in a while. They really wanted to make sure we had a great time and enjoyed our meal. Will 100% be returning.

Popped in here several times for lunch time menu, lunch was quickly served, tasty and filling. Staff are really friendly and helpful, they took care of me and my little one, they were very accommodating and go the extra mile. I will definitely come back to try other things on the lunchtime menu. My only gripe is the lunch time menu should show the service charge at the bottom, other than that I was happy to pay as the service was great.

Great place to go for lunch or dinner, with a nice small menu so it doesn't take forever to decide what to eat! I've been many time as the staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming and very attentive to your needs. Would highly recommend! Open 12pm-3pm for lunch and 5pm-11pm for dinner.

Booked through website and delivery was fast. The squid is now calamari and it was a good size portion. Chew main was ok but not as colourful as I remember. Duck spring rolls lovely and lots of side dips. Also a discount on the website which is always welcome.

Lovely food and people, bit pricey though.

A really great place to have authentic Chinese food. Waitresses were very nice and even addressed me by name, which made me felt really welcomed. The food was delicious,but by no means mind blowing. However the service was amazing and I think I’m going to come here more often, especially when I feel a bit homesick.

It seems prices are based on the location rather than quality. Food was served too quickly and wasn’t at the right temperature indicating it wasn’t cooked to order. Chilli squid lacked spice and flavour, seaweed was ok, grilled dumplings were acceptable but dough was very thick and ordinary. Prawns in black bean sauce (£21) had 6 small shrimps cut in half. Staff were attentive at least but overall it was an average dining experience.

Order regularly from these guys on Deliveroo. They have some amazing Dim-Sum, really tasty, fresh and homemade. Often do some great discounts and offers too so not always on the pricey side

First time in this place. Intended to try the dimsum but just can’t resist the crispy noodles which was pretty good. Will definitely return for the dimsum though be warned that prices are somehow steeper than in other reputable dimsum places. The rest of the menu are reasonably priced though. Don’t be discouraged by the no smile service. Service is efficient which I like and you do get a smile eventually 😉 Oh and a very nice interior too.

Let’ be honest, it’s not easy to find a good Asian cuisine in London. We came to this place (their HQ) after ordering a few times from their branch in Wandsworth. There are more items served here compared to Wandsworth’s. The crispy noodle was really good, the flavor of the noodle was very authentic, delicious and flavorful, unlike most of the bland food we had in London. We also tried their crispy aroma duck and dimsum, which we highly recommend. The service was superb ! Will definitely visit again with our friends when we are in Chelsea.

Fantastic place with great food It’s very “Hong Kong” - love it that the chef will adapt anything on the menu . My veggie sister in law once asked them to do something exciting with tofu and the chef made her a dish she said was best she’d ever had They make their own noodles - nothing comes from a distribution centre. Great place , food is fabulous , staff are wonderful

This is my 3rd time in this restaurant and can't be more complementary, food is fresh and you don't need to wait to long for food, team that working at the restaurant is very attentive, carrying and friendly. Very cosy place where you can sit down, relax, enjoy your meal and most importantly have a conversation. Everyone is very respectful and happy.

As an Asian myself, I'm quite picky when it comes to Asian restaurants, but this place, discovered by walking down the street, is worth a try ! Love the food and the service. Just next to our flat in Chelsea . Highly recommended! Definitely be back before leaving London! 😋

Reasonably priced restaurant in this neck of the woods especially in this current climate. It has a shorter menu than most Chinese restaurants and it concentrates on dim sum or starters which are great for sharing. The starter platter gives you a taster of some of the items on the menu but it could do with some non deep-fried items to lighten it up. The food isn't as salty as some places and we enjoyed the chicken in black bean sauce and the pak choi. Portions are decently sized, tasty and I left feeling full. My friend was 30 minutes late but the waitresses were kind to let me wait and I didn't feel pressurised to rush my meal. They were quite chatty until the place got very busy at 6.30pm.

We had a really lovely meal, every dish we ordered was tasty and very fresh. members of staff made an effort to check how the dinner was going, very friendly and kind. The duck was delicious and so were the pancakes, very thin yet perfect to hold the sauce and all the fillings. The prawn toasts were among the best we’ve ever tried.We will go back and try something else from the menu, which is extensive but not overwhelming. I wish it was on our doorstep!

This could look like an ordinary oriental restaurant when in fact it is a premium hidden gem in the trendy end of Chelsea with great Chinese and Malaysian dishes. Great for a pre-cinema or pre-theatre meals in the vicinity.

I have known this place for a long time now and everything is always very tasty! We visited yesterday again after a big gap and it is still as tasty as before, the service as great as before. Which doesn't happen in many places. Dumplings are so nice! They also deliver through Just Eat

Great places to have lunch quick and efficient staff

Friend brought us there when we visited Chelsea. A must eat when you are here, the dumplings are amazing. Very authentic. We had the prawn & asparagus roll which the manager told us it was made in house. It was so good we finished before taking a photo !

I visited here with my wife here today and I have to say the service was incredibly efficient and warming! Despite the restaurant being busy Lily kept checking up on us and our food was served in a very timely manner! This was our second time here and given how delicious the food was, we will certainly be back. Excellent variety on the menu combined with a well run restaurant makes this a top picking in the local area! Thanks again 😁

We came here for lunch on New Years Eve, our first visit in a few years. It is good to see that the food is still cooked by the same person and it was as good as ever. The dumplings were nicely cooked and beautifully seasoned, and the crispy chicken and chicken chow mein were also very good. Our waiter was lovely and chatty, and she even made some child friendly chopsticks for our kids who wanted to use chopsticks but cannot yet work it out! Overall, it was well worth the drive up here and we will come back again in future.

First class restaurant with great staff. I would however suggest that it is always better to dine in and not get a take away as like with all hot food it will continue cooking in the containers during delivery and not taste as good!

The service here was exceptional! The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive and created such a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered a lot on the menu and honestly, every single item was delicious! The quality of the food was 10/10 and the presentation was amazing, from the tea cups and saucers to the authentic dumpling steamer, they really put a lot of thought into the customers' experience. All in all the entire experience was five stars and if you're ever in the area or want to order delicious Chinese food, I'd definatley recommend trying this restaurant out! Also the decor is beautiful <3

The xiao long bao was bad, not unlike frozen xiaolongbaos bought from the supermarket. Other dishes were average, but atmosphere was good and staff were nice!

You know when you visit a place and have a great experience, then you go back some time later and the same dishes you've had are no longer vegan. So while I had some lovely noodles and tea and a stir fry with rice the question that remains unanswered is how come the spring rolls and the soup and the other dishes are no longer vegan at this establishment. Were they not vegan even in my previous visit? Having asked staff the question, all we were told was they have changed the way they cook but the answer was quite vague and especially as the previous time we were told most vegetarian options were vegan as the fish sauce had been removed from veggie dishes. So the answers from the last visit with the previous did not match. Not sure I feel comfortable enough to visit again.

We don't normally try out places but we did & it was quite good. It is difficult to get fresh food, freshly cooked but this was ok & the price was reasonable. S & S Pork, Pak Choi & rice.
