I phoned to make my order, very aggressive and rude man answered and took the order. They don't even clean the prawns that black stuff is still on it, the shop and kitchen looks dirty, it's definitely overpriced, I had a horrible experience and below par food. Save your money as plenty other options to eat in Earl's Court.

When in London this is my go to place for Asian food. Pay no mind to the bad reviews. Food is very decent for the price (specially the beef chow mein), and the family who owns it is nice and polite. The Grandpa at the cashier may seem grumpy at first, but as soon as you engage in a conversation he opens up, specially about his native Malaysia. 4 stars because I witnessed Asian foreign students getting 10% off, but Asians only, kinda hard to swallow. Otherwise all good.

I local and me and friends buy regularly from here got no complaints the owner and family are nice - Black bean and chow mein is mainly what I order tasty 😋

We order from this little Takeaway once a month usually. The food is freshly cooked, the rice has a nice barbeque type flavour, the service is quick and efficient. The vegetarian bean curd and vegetable dishes are good as they do have some authentic Chinese vegetables added too.( That I appreciate as I dont just want vegetables I eat all the time). The vegetable curry was too hot for me. However, you can let them know how hot you want things. The vegetable Chow Mein is tasty and a good quantity. As regular customers they have kindly added a free drink and sometime prawn crackers for my partner. Kind of them to do so. I would like to see the slightly spicey aubergine and fungi dish on the menu otherwise there is limited choice for vegetarians. My partner Steve is always happy with all the non vegetarian options on the menu and appreciates how freshly cooked the food is too.

After a long day in London, we wanted something to take home for dinner. We passed Eastern Star in our neighborhood, and we are so happy we decided to try it. We ordered many dishes for takeaway, and we enjoyed all of them. In addition, the staff was so polite and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant for takeaway!

I love this place food is fantastic I have spent nearly a hundred pounds on my last five orders but now I went to order now in two days every thing has gone up to 9.50 a item please that's crazy I can go to China town and have a fab meal for less I ordered squid and ginger two nights ago 8.00 well was all of 8 bits in the carton it's a shame you r going to loose so many loyal customers I just rang them and he said what do you want me to do please will have to go back to my old one oh and I forgot the delivery charge and service charge outrageous

So poor.... Honestly, it's like they have lost the will to cook. I had a portion of boiled (meant to be egg fried) rice that was tasteless and sweet and sour comprising of 4 small inedible pieces of chicken. Just so poor... Not even one star I'm afraid.

Good food always nice and hot, owner is very pleasant i always go here at least once every time I stay in earls court.

Regular visits to London have ment looking around for good food, We tried this takeaway for the first time today & certainly wasn't disappointed. We played it safe with the Chicken Chow mein & Meat Spring Roll. The chow mein was tasty and the home made spring roll was large with an unexpected kick in the spice stakes. Admittedly the gentleman behind the counter did seem like he'd had a bad day but, we all have them. I look forward to trying more of your menu in the near future.

Staying close by, we got take away as a quick option prior to heading out for the night. The menu had lots of options, service was quick (not overly pleasant, a smile goes a long way) and the food was hot. Food was fine, lots of chicken in my dish. Hygiene rating is good, it is what it is. Filled a hole in my belly.

Staff are friendly and food is always of a good standard and considering the cost, you cant go wrong. Always prepared fresh and hot

Worst food ever... sweet and sour..thick floury coating..pork tough and chewy.. special rice one prawn + 1 cup salt... spring roll greasey + horrid greasy filling with added chilli yuck. Over all disgusting. My advise....buy and bin or avoid.

I've lived in EC for 32 years and only recently started using this takeway because of the lockdown and my regular place closing down. I don't understand some of the negative comments. The food is delicious and fresh, well cooked and always pipping hot on deliverly. I have had to call this place and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would not use another takeaway.

It wouldn’t let me post this review unless I gave at least one star, but please be aware that I wanted to give zero stars, that is my actual score. I’ve never written a review for a restaurant before, I am compelled to do so now because of how unbelievably terrible I feel today after eating this for dinner last night. I’ve been poisoned, awful quality food, disgusting taste and filled with headache-inducing chemicals which linger over into the next day. Do not eat here, ever, gross. I’m not joking, pure garbage, have a microwave meal instead. Negative 10 stars.

Best for home deliveries. Reasonable prices and I love the food here, especially the ho Phan noodles. All in all a good place for a nice takeaway.

Después de un largo día de compras y de estar en este clima caluroso, ordenamos desde aquí para entrega a domicilio. Hicimos un pedido bastante grande y nuestra comida estuvo con nosotros en muy poco tiempo, ni siquiera 20 minutos. Ya he estado comiendo comida de este lugar para llevar y la primera impresión es honestamente mala, porque su tienda se ve muy mal por fuera / por dentro. Pero, sinceramente, esta impresión no tiene nada que ver con la comida, porque incluso esta vez no nos decepcionó. Todo estaba fresco, super caliente y muy delicioso.

I ordered a takeaway from here one evening whilst away on business. I was served fairly quickly, by the clearly busy owner, who was perhaps a little brusque. The food came fairly quickly, and was piping hot. Taste was good, all very pleasant, though I've had better. Quantity was about right, not to much, not to little. The total cost was about £26 for a starter, main, rice and side - so a little more than I am used to, but it is probably fair for London!

Ordered the vegetable fried rice and asked for egg, but didn’t get any egg. It’s just plain rice with a couple pieces of vegetables, not enough considering there was no flavour to the rice. I asked him to add soy sauce, and luckily I did. It helped a little. Very easy to communicate with and very quick service.

Long established Chinese takeaway and delivery. Good quality, hot food.

My order was an egg Fried Rice and a Chinese Chicken Dish; both of them served in large portions and tasty. The staff at the counter was very service oriented and well behaved.

The spring rolls and rice were very nice, the chicken chow mien was ok, but the duck fried noodles and crispy squid were awful, incredibly dry and flavourless, duck and squid felt and tasted like cardboard.

.....but I’ll try. I expected this to be no frills, stodgy Chinese grub, a steady 7 out of 10 to fill a large hole in my stomach after a couple of pints. Heartened by the food hygiene rating I proceeded to order a house special rice and a duck noodle dish. The rice dish was huge yet was 95% bland white rice with a thin and un-generous layer of assorted ‘meat’, 2 bits of broccoli, 5 pieces of carrot and one ‘prawn’ which didn’t look like most prawns you’ll ever see. A dribble of some sort of sauce managed to coat a few grains of rice to make them taste less bland. Small mercies. The duck noodle dish was dry, noodles claggy and rubbery and the ‘duck’, well, I can’t really find the words. Awful will have to suffice. Avoid this place if you want a half decent feed - spend a few quid more and head to Dragon Palace a minutes walk away - real tasty food, real ingredients, real Chinese.

I used to think that this restaurant provided excellent food at a great price. Always prompt service & polite deivery staff. Until last night. Food arrived extremely promptly but delivered by the rudest man. A mistake in the order meant my main course was missing, an extra portion of spring rolls in it's place. I called to complain and was offered the missing dish. The shock came when asked to return an order of spring rolls to the restaurant. (a mistake which l had already eaten). They argued that they were down a portion of spring rolls! Did they intend re-selling them? From best to worst. I could never trust the food here again! BEWARE YOUR HEALTH!!

Really budget chinese takeaway. The chicken fried rice is slightly bland and doesn't have much chicken (or any other ingredient for that matter, other than egg), but is still rather enjoyable to me. The beef hor fun is pretty tasteless; do not recommend. Vegetable spring rolls were okay, seemed like the standard frozen variety.

中華の持ち帰り専門店です。ライスと炒め物と豚のリブのセットメニューを持ち帰りました。確か£8ちょっと。野菜もたっぷりの炒 め物でおいしく、豚のリブもホロリと骨からはずれるほど柔らかく、値段の割に量もたっぷり、お味もなかなかのモノでした。

Decent enough takeaway, nothing you wouldn't expect etc. The won ton soup was quite good as were the ribs.

Quick and convenient when collecting from the restaurant. Used to love it here but the quality has gone down. No matter the dish it all tasted the same...

Food was ok, quick delivery would use again.

Kung Pao, Egg Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein - look no further. Tastes best when you re-fry it

My favorite takeaway place in Earls court. It has great Indian food and a really nice guy that has worked there forever. He always remembers what I get to eat, and always suggests that I try something new. Great price too. It's perfect for a rainy day take away for a hotel room picnic.

WARNING 2016: Management changed. Used to order from here for 9 years, even when I moved outside their 2km delivery radius by a bit they still delivered for 3 years. Last 2 times ordering food quality noticeably poorer with lots of MSG, and I've just been told they're now strict on the 2km delivery radius and refuse to deliver - despite delivering to the same address for 3 years. Going downhill fast...still acceptable if you just want a cheap bite, but do not expect any quality or service. Very sad. :( Recommend Oriental Kitchen Express for a better takeaway around a similar area.

Eat at this place all the time. Best Chinese in the area BY FAR!! The staff are always friendly and helpful. The 10% discount offered for orders collected in the restaurant and paid for by cash, is an added touch for a takeaway that is already reasonably priced for the area... What is there NOT to like?? Try the Singapore Fried Rice, Peking Spare Ribs and Sweet & Sour Chicken balls!! I have never had any problems with the food here. Arrives on time, not expensive. My dishes were full of flavour and tasty.

The staff were unfriendly,and were more interested at shouting at each other than helping customers. This take-away sold good food maybe two years ago but now it's so tasteless; it's like drinking watered-down chicken stock when you try the Won Ton Soup, the dumplings in it are a joke: they are dry, small marbles of old pork dumped in the soup. Prawn & pork dumplings were so tiny and only four of them; they were stuck together, obviously made in a mould, not fresh and so tiny. They were not worth the £4.65 price, for four small bites, they were also so over-cooked and were very dry. Next, the Chicken Teriyaki: again, dry and over-cooked. I think that they just can't get trained staff or don't care what customers think. Do not waste your money on this awful rip -off place: go to Fulham, there is no alternative here in Earl's Court. I should know, I've lived here for twenty four years and my partner is a CHINESE CHEF! Good luck in Fulham, or Chelsea if you want REAL Chinese food.

Whoever gave thus the thumbs up needs their taste buds examined. I ordered wonton soup that was vile. Had done chicken mix in it not pork or prawns. Duck fried rice that was just bolied rice with duck plunked on top....at least the duck was good and salt and pepper squid that was the nastiest I ever tasted. More flour than squid. Order from here if you like cheap and nasty food. I should have stuck to my usual place.

Food was bland and tasteless, came so quick when ordered on hungry house - I don't think it's that hard to cook simple tasty Chinese food! Don't bother people, just spend your money elsewhere!!!!

Great choice of food, a discount if you pay cash and collect. Quick service and a place to sit and wait and read the paper while your food is freshly cooked.

You cant go wrong if you're looking for a quick, affordable, efficient, tasty (MSG, who knows?) Chinese take away. Great friendly owners who will gladly tweak your order to your specifications should you have any and lightning fast delivery time. Perfect for hangovers. Try the Salted Squid - yum !

I used to get take aways delivered from here at university a lot in my final year when I was craving chinese food. The food is delicious and reasonably priced considering the area it is in. It also gives 10% student discount which is nice for a restaurant to do! I always got the ma po to fu which is on the specialities menu; absolutely love that dish and they do it quite well here. Normally spent about £7-8 per person which is very cheap. Very impressed.
