New China Wok in Croydon

I should have taken the reviews seriously. This food arrived on time which is great but it was so oily and greasy and tasteless at the same time. How odd. I actually got heartburn and ended up defrosting a ready meal from my freezer to eat. They also never actually sent the type of noodles I ordered. Just bad all round. Sorry guys.

Absolutely crap food new people I had burnt rice and crap chicken awful!!! Do not get a take away from that place !!!!!!

Amazing food ordered from this place first time food was excellent would definitely order from this place again one of the best places in the town

The shop is 2 minutes from my house More than half hour waiting for the food... They charged me 15£ for a soup of 5.50£ called them and the answer was that they charged 5 £pounds for delivery an 5 for the service. The soup was smaller then my pinky finger

1st time trying this place. Food was very good 10/10 ordered shrimp fried rice just needed more spring onions

My favorite chinese delivery for 4 or 5 years Food is good Price is fine Service is ok Delivery in good time Nothing to complain

This place is real good service is spot on the food always just like pics on display taste good and you can ask for no msg and it’s still good if I ever move out the Croydon area this spot will be truly missed

I am a regular customer but this time had no cash and transferred £20.40 via online banking in the shop to the boss. I showed him pdf with the money posted to his account. He did not receive the money immediately and asked me to call my bank (8pm). I contacted bank online and showed him the answer: the money posted, will reach his account within 2 hrs max. He told me to pay him again by cash though! Another customer tried to explain to him that the money was on its way and that he should feed my kids who were sitting hungry and waiting. The boss refused. Eventually we left the shop with no food and £20 out of pocket. I will never go there again and don't recommend this place as they treat their regulars as thieves. Of course his money reached him soon after I had left the shop, I was told by the other customer. A disgraceful treatment and pettiness!!!!

Little takeaway shop. Good price, quality, service.

We love new China Wok!! The service is 5* and the food is the best Chinese in Croydon. They even remember your orders If you make a mistake on Just eat they will call to make sure you've picked the right dish. Always happy to here from us top take away . Kelly and Steve Thornton road

Order is nearly 2 hours late, restaurant will not answer the phone and deliveroo is not responding

It's 21/10/22 I've placed order here before with no issues so ordered a delivery today but it was tasteless after a very "its not our fault conversation on the phone "I had to drive down to return the whole food as I wasn't putting my money in the bin!!!! Shame but that's my last order from this place!

Absolutely appalling customer service. Using a rogue driver to do their deliveries. Beware of ordering from this restaurant. Police have been contacted about them. I ordered from them but the food didn't turn up. Woman there said "oh you can get your money back from uber'. Their driver was very aggressive, and may not have been an actual Uber delivery driver. He was also smoking inside the takeaway, which the proprietors didn't mind at all. Disgusting. I wouldn't even rate them 1 star.

My order never arrived they were not even helpful and told me to contact the driver the driver described someone which clearly was not me since I skin colour is way different after hours of waiting for the driver to come to mines and show me where he brought the order he never came neither did he call me when I called the restrautant again they said it’s not they fault it’s the driver fault so they woundt anything about it. This is ridiculous and very bad behaviour. Attitude was very bad if I could give 0 starts I would do so

Honestly this is the BEST Chinese I have tasted in years. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is crispy yet covered in sauce. How?! Rice is lovely. Prawns are amazing. Everything from here is lovely. Even the drivers! Such good value for money and portion size is good.

Been ordering weekly from here for past two years. Always good food, never any problems, polite staff. Recommend Large Munchie box for a bit of everything.

Ordered three different dishes and all three arrived with the SAME SAUCE which was really not good. I would not order from this place again. Dreadful waste of money and sooo disappointing

Order king prawns with egg rice and I got omelette with prawns the worst taste all that stuck in my neck

Just ordered veggie chow mein & black bean beancurd. I was given 'special' chow mein by mistake. I didn't realise until I had eaten some. I phoned & they sent the appropriate chow mein half hour later to go with the Cold beancurd what was left & hadn't been contaminated.Unfortunately I was ill after & upset. Not good at all. Annoyed & upset.

I get it every Saturday/Sunday. Best thing for me to eat when I am too lazy to make something. Food is exquisite.

Stopped by to get some Chinese food and the service was good and food was alright too.

Local Chinese takeaway. Open till late which helps us to get food tasty and hot.
