It’s a kebab, what’s not to like? (Disclaimer I have always been drunk when getting food from here but I’ve also always been happy with it)

Meat and chips were absolutely banging. Nice, fresh and juicy meat and the sauces as well were really good. Wish I could come and eat here every day! I really recommend the Mixed meat Döner Box, with all salads and sauces, literally reminded me of my childhood in Germany.

Zarawar was excellent and gave us fresh food fantastic services from him. Strongly recommend.

Even though we put in the wrong house on accident, the employees were very kind about it, and the food is very delicious

Very poor service. I ordered for daughter chicken nuggets meal. There are 6 chicken nuggets and chips included juice in the meal but only 4 chicken nuggets very little small chips that's all. Sorry for this service Berlin kebab. The children are looking forward a good meal. I think, they don't care at all. What for we paid money for they should understand!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤔😔

Staff members were polite and friendly. The food was really good and tasty. The kebab seasoning was very characteristic. I really enjoyed the meal. Would definitely recommend. Portions could be a bit more generous though.

If you have been to Berlin and had döner, this will not satisfy your craving. Absolutely nothing like the döner found in Berlin and other cities in Germany. It is simply just a very bog standard English kebab shop, nothing about it is even remotely in the style of a Berlin döner shop? The bread should at least be Pide Bread, but it isnt, just a cheap dry pitta?! Don't know how they've got away with this to be honest.

Delivery was a little slow for a Sunday afternoon but the doners were tasty and the portions good (especially the chips). HOWEVER, if you order for delivery, this company will spam you with text messages for life, using a different number each time. You have been warned!

The food was very nice and juicy the service and qualities very good. I will definitely come back

I bought German chicken kebab last night it’s was horrible taste they don’t no what’s German döner kebab meaning they selling normal kebab with bread. Bread is burnt and sauce is not tasty it’s regular rubbish chilli garlic sauce meat is tasty like old and he put salad separate cost 8£ small size rubbish German doner. They don’t know how to make German doner kebab and sauce go buy some original German doner and taste and learn how to make German doner.😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

ordered combination kebab, shish and doner yesterday. and this is I have received. deliveroo won’t refund. it tasted very bad, been ordering with them for ages and was always great food but this time it’s a no. I don’t think I will ever order from them again.

Chicken doner kebab with chicken feathers , disgusting

Ordered food, told approx 50-55 minutes to deliver, chased when not arrived, they obviously forgot, told 10-15 minutes more. 45 minutes later it arrived- given free chips! Ate my dinner at 9pm- disgraceful.

Terrible. The oil used for the chips were stale. The portions too small and when questioned about the amount of chips given for a 'large' portion, the man was plain rude.

Order includes: - Fish and Chips - Lamb Sheesh kebab - Quarter Pounder burger - Chicken Fillet burger Prices are reasonable (higher due to inflation) and there is some seating available to eat on site. The chips servings are quite generous! Definitely worth visiting for your regular takeaway. 5 Stars

Ordered large however got a small portion. Asked staff and they didn’t acknowledge. Ordered twice and both times the experience hasn’t been great. Food wasn’t great either.

This was my first time trying out this place. I'm not familiar with the menu so I was asking general questions about the food. The man I spoke to, who I assumed was the manager or proprietor was barely cooperating with straightforward questions. I ordered a mixed German donner meal..After waiting around 15 minutes the same man said to me 'are you you takeaway or eating in?' I said 'in". He suggested I eat my Donner separately from my chips that had not been cooked yet. He pointed to a wrapped up box under the warmer that had been sitting there for 10 minutes. I had idea it was my food. I said 'it defeats the object having it separately. I'll wait for the chips'. Once everything was ready, he called me up. I asked if they could clean the table as it was filthy. He said they don't have cloths use a tissue (rather rude I thought). I took the meal feeling put out and opened my box. Being used to normal Turkish/Greek kebabs I was expecting a pita bread. The meat was in a large bap to my disappointment. However the donner meat both beef and chicken was tasty. The portion was tiny and felt more so being swamped by this huge soggy bap. The food was only luke warm not surprisingly as it had been prepared 20 minutes before. The salad was tiny too. The whole thing dominated by this huge soggy bap. Yuk! The chips were undercooked and had not been blanched so there was no crispness you'd expect from any decent kebab joint. The phone was ringing a lot for orders and plenty of delivery collections. Which means a lot of people have set the bar lower than mine. Since they couldn't be bothered to wipe the table (basic dining hygiene in my book). So I left my soggy bap and chips for them to clear up. Normally with mediocre service I'd bin my stuff without hesitation. I felt compelled to leave it as they had shown me so much disdain on my first visit. I won't be going back. My kebabs will be strictly Turkish, Greek, Lebanese, Kurdish etc. Or any other traditional kebab source that knows what they are doing ,are friendly and use pita bread.

On 09/09/2023 i visited the place to try this relatively new concept of 'german' donner, basically beef donner. The beef donner wrap was £8.95, the chicken donner £8.95 and the mix donner £9.95 (£1.00 more). I asked why the mixed donner was more. The person replied "because it's mix donner". I said "is it because you put a bit more when it's mix or maybe for some reason it's more effort for you to make a mix donner rather than one of the same kind?" He said "no, it's like this because it's mix". I said "the customer shouldn't pay more for buying the same quantity as that of the same kind donners". He said "it's like this, everyone does it like this in this country and doing this job, standing in the heat from morning to night, isn't easy". I said "everyone doing like this, doesn't make it (more) right. As a customer, I would rather see the chicken and beef donners also being £9.95 so that i wouldn't see the price difference." I still bought a mix donner just to try it out which was not too bad but It's a shame because as a matter of principle, I personally wouldn't go back again. Also, consider adding a couple of tables outside, it would be good for your customers to not have to sit inside and leave with their clothes smelling of kebab.

Fantastic traditional doner kebab

Hello sir On 6th of August. I bought a box for £6.99. I don't know what was the exact name of that box with chips salad and beef. It was take away. When I got in my Van which was parked long due to parking was not available. I open the box there were salad on the top and on bottom of the box chips chips and chips. I tried to find some peace of beef thank god I found some but they were trying to hide from me because they were very few in number. They were feeling shy to face me. I wish the owner of the German Donner would have felt ashamed that if all I wanted to eat was chips, I would have bought two pounds worth of chips from the Chinese next door. Why did I need to pay £6.99?

We have ordered from this place many times before and I seem to always be disappointed with the food. Today everything was burnt and the order was also wrong. We called them about it and they barely cared. It was a terrible experience yet again. Both the food and my money has gone to waste.

My first experience buying the kebab shish has made me addicted...very tasty...once a month it's always on my dinner table.

Cod & chips portions keep getting smaller. Last order was undercooked & greasy. I was a regular customer but will go elsewhere now. Also, no malt vinegar available.

This is nothing like the kebabs in Berlin LOL. Meat is too chunky and kebab poorly constructed. Sauces lack homemade flavour. The beauty of a kebab in Germany is the proper bread, thin strands of meat, sauces spread on the inside so it can be tasted in every bite, and the fresh salad mixed amongst the meat. Here you get inauthentic bread, cheap salad, chunks of poor meat, and a single dollop of sauce on top. Knock off version.

Got delivery from here a few times so far. Overall, food tastes good and prices are decent. First order here when I got the leaflet through the post, food was amazing. Unfortunately, food quality has been going down noticeably through my orders. Doner meat hasn't been cooked as well before and chips were stale twice. Even the sauce, I got the family meal but was only given 2 dips. First time I got 4.

My first order today turned out really great. Most succulent fish in recent memory. Doner was beautifully seasoned. And the oil wasn’t burnt. I don’t ask much more than this.

The kebab meat was delicious. Fresh and juicy chicken. The best kebab in London. 10/10 for flavour and taste.

I live in Redhill and in Redhill there is one of the best kebab shops but any time I pass toI get this it was very very nice I get doner box and I’ll give it 4 out of 5 stars

The food here is very nice, I like their chicken donner kebab in their speaciality bun which is served with sauce and salad. I would highly recommend. Definitely one of the best kebab shop in the area.

Sent my partner in as awful to park round there. She ordered me a chips in pitta with salt, vinegar, and mayonnaise. They obviously don't sell this which is strange for a kebab shop but rather than tell her they stuck some old stale chips in some sort of soggy bun and then rather than use mayonnaise as asked covered it in garlic sauce. I would never use these clowns again. If you don't have something just say that rather than try and con someone.

I was there to charge my car and I saw this kebab shop, so I stopped for my dinner. The staff was very friendly and the food was awesome.

Ordered for the first time tonight, had a lamb shish and a chicken shish with chips. I would say it is one of the nicest kebabs I have ever had, great portion size, cooked perfectly and not at all greasy. Delivery fast, took around 30 mins and Delivery driver was polite. Very impressed, will definitely order again.

I had to wait 1.5 hours for delivery. Cold food on arrival. Sausage inedible. Poor

I received the wrong item and didn't get another item. Customer service is non existent and I called over 5 times after getting the wrong order and the phone line was 'busy'. The website's chat service just told me to call. Will not order again, terrible service. I emailed asking for help but no response, I was more than happy to leave a good review if you helped with my order. Avoid.

I ordered a large mix doner kebab with chips and fair to say the food was very good can’t complain nice portion size and overall great taste. The reason for the 3 star was due to me waiting 2hrs for delivery as the driver was sent to the wrong address and the restaurant accusing me of providing the wrong details (ordered via Uber eats) which I knew I didn’t but I would order here again

Best kebab I can remember, worked in hospitality for 30 years and this was the best I've had... service a bit pushy on entering but it's that way where ever you go.

Burger was burnt doner kebab is alright chips were alright but had too many old chips. Presentation is key and a worker had dirt under nails which is off putting so I think it’s too over-priced for the quality personally.

Second Visit - still amazing. Ordered a beef döner wrap and a döner box. Food was amazing and the portion sizes incredible. There really is no competition for these guys in Purley/Coulsdon. Hands down the best local Doner Kebab shop!!!!

Awful, just awful! The 2 kebabs I ordered were actually blended into one, and no sauces that I paid for were supplied. Bread was dry and onion rings soggy. I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I’m still hungry and don’t want to feed that rubbish to my dog!

My Family Ordered here! It was very nice however my Doner box, I feel like could have had more to it and been a bit less dry. Nevertheless, It still was quite nice. The kebabs, were brilliant! They tasted great and as they have just opened I'll let them off with my Doner box and give them a 4 star! Also the staff here are always super nice! They accept card and the service is quick! I will definitely give a visit again to see how they are getting along!

Ok, I’m going to try and be fair here as this is a new business and everyone deserves a chance. First of all, you come here for a kebab, you’ll get a kebab, but the weird thing for me is the move towards branding it as German Doner, as it doesn’t really seem any different to typical Doner and doesn’t seem anything like things I’ve had in the past that are sold as German Doners, especially the chain ‘German Doner kebabs’ I had to pick out a few burnt pieces of Doner out of the bread, it’s also disappointing when everything is a soggy and it falls apart as you’re trying to eat it making a mess. Authenticity aside, I can’t say that I enjoyed the kebab, but it wasn’t bad enough that I threw it away after one bite. It’s not an inviting place where you’d want to sit down and eat there either. On the plus side, the food was quick and they do accept card. I hope the owners can take this feedback onboard and use it to improve.

Large mixed Donner and saveloy and chips . When it arrived it was stone cold . We rang them and fair play they sent the order again , it came warm half hour later , but the large kebab, was a small kebab, the chilli and garlic sauces were absent and the savaloy was hard in places , chips were good to fair . Very disappointing first try of a German kebab
