Nero Express in Kensington and Chelsea

This is the worst place ever in a good location. First of all they never open and close at the times displayed for opening and closing times. Sometimes they close early and in other times you will be lucky even if they Open for the day. Ingredients missing majority of the time. Worst experience ever and the worst part is it never change week in week out and don’t get me started about the staff.

It’s a nice store and the staff are very friendly and make the drinks well. The shop is well presented and clean. I’m writing this, partly, to support the staff here as I witnessed an especially entitled customer with a small dog behaving in an inappropriate manner to the staff here over a really insignificant matter. She threatened to complain about a particular staff member and made the staff write down their names. She also held up the queue whilst she had her rant. I was behind this person and it was horrible to witness. I’ve never had any issue with the staff here. So, if this customer described does make her complaint then I hope my review goes some way to balance out her negativity.

Horrible coffee; tasted like colored water. Had to ask for a refund.

40 minutes late opening. When the gentleman in charge was asked if he would be serving any coffee, he went outside for a cigarette because he ‘deserved it’ and was extremely rude.

I regret not going to Gail’s, the coffee was weak and the barista made the flat white extremely extremely hot, wonder if they measure the temperature.

It’s a copy of Starbucks and not a good one. Prices are slightly lower, so is the quality of beverages.

Despues de pedir un chocolate caliente con nata que valía £5, me lo sirven sin nata porque dicen que no tenían, pero ya me lo habian puesto y no lo podia echar para atras. La tarta estaba dura. El baño estropeado. No recomendado, hay sitios mejores en Londres.

Convenient location as I grabbed a coffee on my way from the tube to the shops. The staff seems to be very poorly trained as my cappuccino was boiling hot. Please train your staff!!

We ended up going to this Nero Express around everyday we stayed in London. They have small treats that are perfect for a quick morning snack or breakfast. Service was quick and friendly, lattes were delicious, cannot wait to come back.

Friendly staff, brisk service, just what you need when you are on the run.

Closed for good. Interesting glass building in a tight location. Hope another coffee bar opens here. Go visit Leonidas Belgian chocolates in High Street Kensington station arcade ( just moved there - from next to Boots the chemist ).

Coffee was good, however the Cafe itself was a little tired and the table we used hadn't been cleared or cleaned.

Came in on a one off for a wet soya chai latte in my reusable -Glass- cup today, as i stood by the bar, the lady who was serving ignored my presence, continuing her conversation with her colleague, eventually looked down took my order and cup; proceeded with her conversation, slumped my flask onto the glass counter top stating she couldn’t open it without even attempting to. It had previously had water in so I’d granted she could just pour it out. Once charged my glass container was once again, gashed down onto the counter top, covered in sticky foam from the milk being gushed in with no precaution whatsoever, the lid not screwed on & the drink itself was extra hot, not to my request. As previous Barista I know how 160’ feels and it was physically impossible to hold even with its sleeve. Not only was the customer service poor, the treatment of my flask was absolutely appalling, borosilicate glass will retain shape & with stand shatter from moderate temperature changes but to deliberately pour scolding milk into a drink i didn’t request that way; but into glass that is known to shatter from sudden thermal spectrums absolutely dumbfounds me. Followed up. By the aggressive collision it made with the counter top coated in lather I’m utterly appalled. I had requested my receipt & napkins to clean the mess but was, as you can see only handed one. Globally everyone is doing their part to refrain waste & pollution; coffee shops particularly prompt paper straws & reusable cups to cut down on these factors. But when my property is miss-treated and chucked in-front of me why would i even fathom to use my own when the service is downright sloppy,I’d utterly loath returning. To think -This- is considered acceptable not only as a brand representative act but the heart of Kensington, what’s ‘thought’ to be an upperclass highly respected area I don’t anticipate having a first class coffee but these are downright simple changes that need taken into action. Customer, care, is key & quite frankly it’s down to staff who simply don’t care for it.

Much the same range and standards as other Neros. Unusual setting by the tube station on a long glassy corner of the shopping centre. It does good coffee, cakes and pastries. I went in at midday and although the aforementioned were plentiful, the sandwich range was patchy. Staff pleasant, table clearance again, patchy.

Incredibly rude staff and chaotic, slow service. I am quite shocked at how the staff behaved here, I am not used to this standard (I come from Hungary). Half of the baristas were not working properly but just chatting to each other, took the barista 10 minutes to prepare a cappucino. Another barista went around asking for everyone's order, most of which were later not prepared and forgotten... Another one prepared a soup for a lady standing in front of me and when she reminded him that she wants to take it away, he looked very angry and nearly smashed the plate to the counter, then preceding to grumpily look for a paper cup. She was just as shocked as me at the reaction and told him "don't bother, I am not coming back here" and left, rightly so. Not worth to spend any money here.

A filthy place! Dirty spoons and cups! Rude staff. I am a local and this place getting worse and worse. Surprised RBK&C hasn't ordered to closed it down yet on bad hygiene grounds. I'll NEVER return to that place again and for that matter will never buy a Caffe Nero coffee ever again!

Staff are very rude, they are unaware of things happening around them. Additionally, the toilet is just disgusting.. will not be going there again.

Lazy manageress/supervisor on duty. Gave attitude when authorising a refund for a mistake. Staff dissatisfaction is apparent by their poor attitude when serving the customer.

Indifferent coffee and cake, but low score for the staff doing nothing about the scores of people occupying tables for paying customers when they've brought their own packed lunch, own drinks, or even just sat there on a laptop having bought nothing at all. Very frustrating.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced, very rude staff , disengaged and rushed us due to having a small que ( even though we spent over £20 ).Maybe the cafe Nero staff in side of the station ( High Street Kensington ) should train these imbeciles on customer services ! I come every day. I enjoy the barista fervour and continued attempts at efficiency with speed and quality. BUT...There is a continuous complaint of poor cleanliness looking at reviews. Nothing seems to improve. I personally pointed this out to one of the baristas. Is it that they are not supported? Who does the cleaning??

It was good, with a very great location! However the staff wasn't very competent, the place was not very clean and they seemed confused while ordering. I saw my table one hour after leaving trough the window and it was as i had left it. The place was not very busy, also the floor was very sticky and with a lot of garbagge.. Still the coffee, food and price can compensate.
