We visited just before 12noon, not too busy on a weekday. Waitresses clear everything on the table once you've finished eating. Feels like you're being asked to leave,. Food was served quickly.App order was great.

We ordered a flatbread from the kid's menu. It was so burnt that you couldn't bite through it. The staff did apologise and change it and what we then got was okay.

Went to the wacky with my 3 boys (1 of which has autism) despite being exceptionally busy the place was clean, staff were very polite and helpful. Good looked and tasted great and was serviced in a short time. We have defo found our new daddy-sons fun place.

First time there, just passing through, and was starving. Partner had a really nice meal of gammon, however that’s where it ended. My meal of southern fried chicken was awful, so tough and over cooked and had to bite through half the fillet just to get some dried meat. Won’t be going again though having said that I’ve had no problem with the Halycon in Peterborough. Very disappointing

Have been coming here for years and it's massively improved over the past couple. Staff are always pleasant, fast and helpful. We're usually served by either Marie or Kerry and they couldn't do any more for their customers. Always there with a smile on their face and ready for a chat while being served. Food is good and there's plenty to keep the kids occupied, at the table with colouring sheets or next door in the wacky warehouse burning off their energy. Everything is reasonably priced and always a good atmosphere.

Large carpark. Easy to order food. Food is part of a chain, but good. Meals delivered to the table by pleasant staff.

Food was delivered to table before we finished ordering drinks, so can't fault the service. Even though the staff were busy they were friendly and thoughtful, despite our table having a very large order. Food was good quality and tasted great.

Food is pretty average but it’s a great venue to meet with other families due to the soft play area next door.

Absolutely shocking. 0 stars Booked a table for 2 for 1 breakfast. Arrived waited 10 minutes to be served to tell us that we had to que at door to get a table number. So we did then we qued up at tills again to place are order for the young girl to serve others as well as make all the drinks and answer the phone. Then start looking for mugs because they had ran out was not even that busy and i only see 3 staff while in there. I will not be going back because if you think you can have no staff and expect customers to be happy then you will lose alot of customers. And rude staff are surely going to help this too.

Just come back from having my mother in law's 80th birthday meal with around 40 of us. Kerry and her team did an amazing job of getting all of the food out which was fantastic, the service was great from the serving staff and bar and the area we were placed in was set out well. Never had a bad experience and every time they have given us a fabulous experience. Thank you all.

All I can say is this place is my home from home. I always feel welcome, all of the staff, in particular Wendy and Kerry are always so warming and friendly; they even greet my 3 year old daughter! I’ve been for breakfast lunch and dinner and each time the food is great! Service is good and fast. Very good value for money too. The wacky is also useful for children that need to burn energy.

I bring my little boy to the wacky warehouse at the needle & awl at least twice a week for the morning play session, Laura is absolutely fantastic with all the children that attend especially my son, he loves her! The atmosphere is friendly, the staff are lovely & the breakfast is delicious always hot and plenty of it! Highly recommend 🌟

Description clearly states that it comes with all trimmings, however when served it was big yorkie with two thin slices of beef wrapped in it and few roasted potatoes on the side. I wanted to cry when I saw this "meal". When we approached the waiter, was told that vegetables come only with roasts, even if it says this on the menu. I'm not sure how it works. Dinner definitely did not meet my expectations.

Our experience was exceptional.

Made to feel rushed, told on arrival we had 2 hours and then we needed to leave. Clearing plates while people still eating, staff clearly pressured to hurry people through. We had booked a table for 7 to have a family meal - spoilt it clock watching, waiting for main course deciding if had time for puddings! Told we could have a goody bag if we ran out of time! No thanks I want to sit and eat a meal at the table we booked with my family not from a goody bag! Shame because food lovely - service front of house rude and poor. Don’t over book it’s not fair on paying customers to be rushed to boost profit.

Staff very friendly, food was quick but the queue at the bar was so long as they only had 2 people serving (Saturday evening). Special mention for Rhiannon who was very welcoming and lovely.

When having lunch at the Needle & Awl today with my parents and my child, my dad had a medical emergency. The care and help that we received from the staff was amazing. They helped to take care of my dad whilst I called the emergency services and they took my little boy into the soft play area so that he didn’t get upset by what was happening and the staff took good care of him. I can’t thank them all enough for their care and kindness.

Brilliant food and a very good price. Will be back.

When asked is rhere anything else, I asked for mayo when meals were served, to which i got told "Get your own mayo". I was kind of left a bit miffed, as nice warm curry on the table, would it not have been nice of them to say, ofcourse ill get that for you, abd then on return still say just yo let you know all sauces are available for aelf service. Sooo why bother asking if there is anything else i need?! All that said, the vehicle curry with bajis, nanny, rice and poppadoms was very tasty, hence 8 out of 10 . Tech I did not spend anything as my lively friend Kelly texted me, bur I think with drink it was around £13.

Lovely beer after work, very chatty staff in Emily and very welcoming. Levi though, arrogant, stuck up and rude. Stop listening into others conversations and jumping in and slating customers when they’ve walked away, we hear it all.

We always book hungry horse for their exceptional food, very good and quick service and friendly staff, who work aimlessly to bring you a good service and experience . It’s close to my home and the prices are competitive. I rate Hungry Horse Rushden family eatery one of the best.

As normal I would like to thank the Staff at the Needle and Awl for the excellent food and service yet again. I always say to my grandsons where do they want to go and eat and they always choose the Needle and Awl,Today I changed my usual Full Monty mixed grill to a Mix it up Steak what was awesome so thanks guys for making our visit special yet again many thanks Jan.

The food was quite nice. Found the drinks a bit expensive... The girl taking our order was quite abrupt and a bit rude and not very friendly. The girl who was the waitress for us got into a bit of a huff when I asked for more sauce and she said you have some and need to pay extra. I said my chicken needs jerk sauce over it and not just the wings as was dry without this! In the end she went to the kitchen and got jerk sauce for me Would.have been nice to have done that instead of making the customer feel like it was a hassle. Probably wouldn't go there for dinner again tbh.

This Hungry Horse restaurant has good quality food at good prices. Comfortable environment. Quick service. Very pleasant time with grandsons.
