Great value lunch. 2 for 1 so very reasonable. We all ordered fish chips and peas. Decent size and beautifully cooked

We eat here regularly and are always happy to return. We visit different eateries on a regular basis and having worked in the food industry for many years i am always looking closely for issues, professionalism, cleanliness and so on. Unfortunately its easy to find in a lot of places. Not here though, its always good. Charlotte met us at the door with a smile as soon as we walked in, and showed us to our table, checked we knew how to order etc. Ordering was easy even though we exclude some items from the orders. Sharon checked in on us in her usual friendly manner. Good, friendly, efficient staff, food always good, clean tables etc all reasons to keep coming back.

We regularly eat at the Needle and Awl with family, friends or just on our own. The staff are ALL helpful, courteous and quite fun-loving people to be with. We've tried other family type restaurants but nothing can compare with this pub.

I come here often with my children of different abilities. They cater to all their needs even moving our table when needed. when my children are disruptive they are all so kind and helpful. Fast, hot food and always consistently tasty.

Came for dinner about 4pm Kerry George Lauren and Luke was amazing from start to finish brilliant with the kids food was hot and up to standard couldn't recommend more

Came in 5 minutes before the kitchens were closing, ordered 7 dishes and quite a few drinks, food came within 6minutes, amazing staff and service. Will definitely be coming back at some point. Tip well deserved.

Everything lovely particularly the staff George,Emily and James the only fault being the chicken wings which were very slimy but overall we had a great experience

James was a lovely young lad who checked in on us throughout the meal, and Emily behind the bar did a great job. Food is cheap and cheerful, loved the cheeseburger chilli dipper

James,Malcolm and Adam were fantastic hosts today.They provided an amazing atmosphere for myself and two friends , who enjoyed wonderful food, cocktails and the occasional shot of fireball. Thanks so much for an awesome visit, I couldn’t recommend this establishment more!! Fabulous!!!!!

We visit the Needle and Awl regularly as it's nice to support our local. Kerry, Emily and the team are always so lovely, helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food servings are plentiful and we are always served with a smile and even a bit of friendly banter! I can honestly say we visit every week and have never had a bad meal. The drinks deals are good too. Thanks to the Needle Team for always looking after us so well. John and Kaz 🤩

Great pub.All staff friendly and food v good. James was good.Attentive. polite. Grilled salmon spicy rice mexican pasta and Korean BBQ sauce with white choc milkshake. Excellent.Enjoyed this meal. If wasn't T1Diabetic would try eat the apple berry crumble too...next time maybe. 😊♥️

Harmony, Elliot and Lauren served us and were very attentive checking up on us to ensure we were enjoying our food. These young people are clearly very hard working, and maintained friendly customer service throughout. They are a credit to your business. Well done to them. The food also was excellent, well presented, reasonably priced, good size portions and very tasty. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening- the meal was just what we needed.

Cone here quite a lot to enjoy drinks whether that's just myself or with friends all staff are lovely and very chatty. Wouldnt want to go any other pub.

Came in today to get some food with my pregnant wife. We were both starving so went for a English breakfast and a two for one burger deal. Had a wait to order but was greeted by a very friendly woman, we chatted about chef life as she had been in the kitchen the day before on a hard shift. She was so friendly and polite. Our food came quickly and looked good. The breakfast I ordered was wrong, asked for no beans extra egg, I got extra hash and bacon. The breakfast was pretty good apart from both of us having no mushrooms. Our burgers were a different story. I tried to eat mine but it was awful. My wife took a bite of hers and started heaving. I've never seen her do that before on a meal out and she loves a burger..it was full of fat and uncooked bacon and the burger was just awful no seasoning and looked barely cooked. As a chef I know how a decent burger should be and this was so far from acceptable. Sadly there was no place to email on the site to complain hence ive moved straight to a review. We were also not asked how our meal was but saw other tables being asked. So we just left sadly disappointed. We'll done to the staff though at f.o.h. who are so nice and friendly.

Very disappointed with the Sunday lunch, small portion, more like child's dinner.when it did arrive the beef was tough not edible, the rest of the food was cold. This is not the first time this has happened won't be eating here anymore.🤪

Visited the Needle n Awl for a steak. Picked the 8oz rump with peppercorn sauce accompanied by a glass of Malbec. Elliott, Mandy, Lauren and Marilyn were in attendence and served me with the now familiar cheerful and enthusiastic demeanor. The Malbec was great as it's a favourite of mine and the rump steak was delicious. Without any gristle. Well done Needle and the staff

My partner and I go to have our dinner at the Rushden Needle and Awl quite often but we've today gone to have our breakfast and Im overwhelmed with how polite, happy to help and lovely the girls were this Monday morning X 😀 THANKYOU GIRLS

If you're hungry like a horse then this is the place for you ! Good food reasonably priced. Had the Sunday roast mixed meats & chocolate brownies pudding, all Great ! Recommended.
