Kind people and wonderful food! Excellent value. I love my Sunday night takeaways from Naz Balti! Always really yummy, Always very quick to be delivered, And always impeccable value. Tonight I had a Sag Daal, pilau rice, four Pappadoms (Yes ALL four just for me 😂), 4 chutney - And it came to only a tenner. And that was including two quid tip for the driver?! Deliveroo must have had some deal on For repeat customers, but they are always great value normally anyway. And They are the kindest! The other week I had a healthy change of mind (Well not really because I was still ordering takeaway 😜), And I wanted to swap my naan for a rice. They said they could not do it because deliveroo gave him no option. So they put in an extra rice for free. I did make sure, as I'm local, to Bob my head around the next day to thank them. I also want to give them a shout out here. Thank you ❤️

We stayed in Twickenham for the rugby match and pre booked a table at the Naz for matchday based on reviews and their online menu. The menu we were offered was very limited and much more expensive that their normal menu so we left to eat elsewhere.

I live in Twickenham and have chosen this Indian many times. The interior is very inviting and we were pleased to get in the warm when it was a bit nippy outside. As far as the food is concerned, it’s excellent. I had a lamb madras and it was a perfect example of what is right in that dish. Pickles were good too. The serving was fine and they came promptly to take our order. As we only eat fairly modestly ie one/two dishes I can’t comment on others’ complaints about prices. But I do know that there’s another Asian restaurant at the end of the street that’s much more expensive. And of course the prices will be hiked on rugby days. I don’t blame them! Those people pay hundreds of pounds for their weekend and with everyone pouring into the Indian restaurants, what would you do after the restrictions of the pandemic? The only problem was that there was a gang of men next door who spent their entire evening’s meal swearing and guffawing. But that’s a curry house I guess. And not the fault of Naz Cuisine. I will definitely go back and if nothing else, to taste that madras!

Not been here for a while due to covid but so glad we came back as amazing food. Lamb madras was great and deliciously spicy. They were happy to do something off menu - lamb Rogan josh which my husband says was delicious and his favourite badam rice. Service was good and drinks reasonable.

The food was pretty average for an Indian restaurant in the Twickenham area and the price average to high for what you got. Unfortunately during our meal, a pretty clumsy waiter knocked one of our drinks over the table - which meant it all had to be reset! Apart from that, service was not the best and we were placed at a pretty small table considering there were bigger empty tables nearby. The meals were acceptable, but no better than that. I wouldn't return there; there's far more better alternatives in Twickenham.

We usually love a curry, but £16 for a small curry - excluding rice + naan - is extortionate, even on matchdays! Two of our party had to send food back because it had gone cold, so paid £16 for a microwave meal (plus extra for rice, etc). Rip off! Service was atrocious too. We asked for two jugs of tap water and 8 glasses for our large table. The waiter came back with one jug and two glasses between 8! Despite asking 3 times for the extra glasses and water, they never appeared. We got unfortunate, as we don’t know the area and everywhere else seemed busy after the rugby. I now know why this place was pretty empty. Don’t make the same mistake we did. AVOID!

Ordered a starter for the waiter to come and leave the plate on the other side of the table and walk off!!!!!! Complained so the owner told the waiter to say sorry and told us it happens sometimes-they don’t know, it’s ok........NO it’s not ok!!! Walked out!

Went to this curry house after the rugby tonight. Admittedly it was busy but we had to ask three times for our drinks order. There were plenty of staff, they just didnt seem organised. One of our starters was only luke warm. Im not a big person but the waiter was continuously rudely banging his trolley into my chair and telling me to move in, even though I had moved in as close as I could the first time he asked me to.. Food was plonked on the table rather than served. Will be trying a different curry house next time I visit.

This Indian restaurant has hardly changed in all the many years I’ve been coming here on International match days at Twickenham. It’s some of the most wonderfully efficient chaos you’ll ever find in a restaurant. They somehow manage to serve dozens and dozens of boisterous rugby fans and get them out in time to get to the game for kick off. The food isn’t the best, but it’s not at all bad and besides that isn’t the point. It’s the atmosphere that makes this a great place to eat and on a quieter occasion the food is probably much better.

I have been to Naz on numerous occasions in the last and always found it to be good but last night’s visit was awful. We pre-booked a table of 15 for my sister’s bday. On arrival it took them over half an hour to get us menus which we had to ask for. No one came to welcome us or ask us for drinks for a long time. We had to ask to order food and it didn’t start to arrive until 1.5 hours later. When we complained the staff we were very rude and not at all apologetic. It was very strange. When the waiter brought over the naan bread he accidentally dropped it off the plate and again didn’t apologise. The food all tasted good when it finally arrived but a few of us had a dodgy stomach this morning.

Myself and six friends went here yesterday evening to celebrate the return to the UK of two close friends from the USA where they had lived and worked for the last ten years. This used to be my favourite Indian restaurant in Twickenham, not any longer. I could understand the way it has altered if it were under new management, but no, the place is still run by the same management as it always has. The first thing the disinterested waiter asked was what we would like to drink. Most of the party ordered beer. Myself and a few others also asked for jugs of cold water to be placed on the table as well as the glasses of beer. A few minutes later the waiter brought back glasses of luke warm water. When we asked again for jugs of cold water the waiter brought back a jug of water and a glass filled with quickly melting ice which was barely frozen and melted in the luke warm water in moments. We decided to give up on water to cleanse our pallets for the rest of the meal. It was almost as if they only wanted to sell customers alcoholic drinks, which I hasten to add we had in fact ordered. Upon taking the order for starters the waiter, who I have never seen before found it difficult to understand our requests so subsequently got the orders wrong. Going forward to the main course, the waiter placed our plates to us but, upon inspection they were in fact filthy. It was as if food had been left to dry on the plates by previous dinners which had not been scrubbed off or soaked in hot water prior to being washed in a dish washer. They were also coted in what appeared to be oil or grease, YUK!. There was only between four to six other dinners in there at the same time as us, so its not as if the place was busy. Something that was rather annoying to one of the party was the fact that because the management have for some weird reason placed a group of tables together which would seat up to ten people so close to our table that the waiter kept colliding with one of my friends chair every time he walked past with his trolley of food, which is bloody annoying when you are trying to enjoy your food. Due to the distinct lack of dinners it was absolutely unnecessary to place tables and chairs so close together. All of our group have eaten in the "Naz" for years but, its almost as if the management are no longer interested in running what was, a very good restaurant serving Indian food in Twickenham. Come on guys, get your house in order or you will go the same way as The Delhi Durbar next door (now closed). I shall in future dine in one of the many other Indian restaurants in Twickenham.

The first thing that strikes a potential customer to Naz Balti is the menu outside. For instance, most of the vegetable dishes are listed as being £2.95. But when you get into the restaurant and view the menu there, they are around £3.45 (Trades Descriptions?). The food was unadventurous on the spicing and heat. A very peculiar addition to the pickle tray was a little dish of bright pink coconut, like a paste. The service was a bit hit and miss - one waiter leaning on the wall, yawning; another much more interested in the cricket on the wall-mounted tv. Without wishing to sound snobby (but it will!), it seems an ok place for takeaways and families (the last time we were there, chicken and chips was served to suit the children's and grandad's rather more conservative taste). Wouldn't bother to go again, and particularly disliked being tempted in by low prices, only to find them increased when inside. They say they are 'high quality', 'contemporary' and 'Twickenham's finest Indian' - none applies. (Little Mumbai is without doubt the best Indian restaurant in Twickenham and fits all of those adjectives!)

Google reviewsPete WILLIAMSPete WILLIAMSin the last weekWe've been to many Indian restaurants in Hounslow and Twickenham over the years and we always keep on going back to the Naz Balti, Church Street Twickenham. First of all the location is great right near the Thames and Eel Pie Island and secondly the food, service and atmosphere is consistently good. We ordered lamb kebab and prawn puri to start with a pint of Kingfisher lager and bottle of Cobra each - all really good. For our main courses we had Lamb madras balti (succulent meat and hot and spicey sauce), Butter Chicken for the kids , a creamy coconut, mild curry (they ate it all) plus a chicken saag balti - a rich, deep taste in a delicious medium sauce (gorgeous as described) plus a lamb shath khania which had soft (pulled)lamb in a spicy sauce and a chicken tikka masala (lovely as described). We also ordered a saag paneer. The balti dishes include nan bread so we just ordered two rice between 6 and a couple of peshwari nans. The meal including lots of beer came to just over £25 per person with a complimentary drink at the end. It's a family friendly restaurant. When the rugby is on it is always very busy as is the whole of Twickenham so avoid those days if you don't want to get caught up in the crowds.

The tables are packed so closely its difficult to get in and out, embarrassing for the lady next to us who needed the toilet and had to ask us to move our table whilst eating so she could go! Service was poor and waiters were rude, they should be careful not to judge a book by its cover some guests can understand what they are talking about and it wasn't polite! Prices are far too expensive for the quality of food. Decor is really poor and aged, napkins were frayed and chairs very rickety. In fact I would go as far to say that yesterday's curry was one of the best we've ever had. Service was good too, but there again we were the only diners that lunchtime.I would certainly have no hesitation in returning and recommending this restaurant - although being from the Twickenham area I personally would avoid any restaurant on a rugby day (obviously not if you're coming to a match) as they're packed and inevitably standards can slip. I visited Naz after watching England play South Africa - it was the only Indian restaurant with a table down Church Street.I was really disappointed with the quality of food, service and atmosphere in the restaurant, especially since the prices were relatively steep. Once we were sat at our table, we didn't get a single smile from a waiter and they got our order wrong. The food itself was exceptionally average, edible but not particularly enjoyable and then we were asked to leave so that they could fill the table before we had finished our drinks. Overall, they did the bare minimum to justify the bill that they put in front of us at the end of the night and I will avoid in future and recommend any readers do the same. I should add that it's possible that this restaurant is quite different when the rugby isn't on.

I did get to try one of my colleagues lamb dishes, which was full of flavour. The one disappointing aspect of the night was the service, which up until we had paid our bill was fine. Most of us had drinks left to finish, but about two minutes after we had settled the bill the staff were telling us we had to leave as they needed the table. We all understood they were busy, but we had spent a fair bit of money in there , and I think it is perfectly reasonable to be allowed to finish drinks that had been paid for.My tip would be not to pay the bill until you have finished every aspect of your meal!(And we stayed and finished our drinks!)

Ate here with a friend last night. Church Street was closed to traffic so we were able to sit outside. Great atmosphere with live music. The food was excellent, nearly as good as that we had in very nice restaurants in India. Service was good. All in all a very enjoyable evening at a reasonable cost. I will be returning!

Late night venue that served a great curry. I opted for a garlic chill chicken curry and pilau rice. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Best meal I’ve had since moving to Hampton Hill. Presentation was beautiful, service was great and the food tasted phenomenal. Can’t wait to come back!
