Delicious sushi for a second time!

we have sushi once a week this one is by far the best delivery sushi in the Richmond/Twickenham area

Very small portion of spicy squid. Would not order that again as it's so expensive. Think I had 4 small pieces, not worth it at all. Sushi was delicious however

Gyoza was good and a decent portion. I wasn’t took keen on the broth of the ramen, but I think that was personal preference, as there was nothing wrong with it just not to my taste.

Delivery was late. Katsu curry was cold and stodgy. This is the second time this has happened.

I’ve never had a problem before with this place but this time around the food arrived 1 hour 10 mins after their scheduled time of arrival and arrived stone cold.

the delivery was 1 hour late. After I called them because my food wasn’t delivered yet, the guy on the phone promised me a soft drink as apologise for the inconvenient. Never got it.

Restaurant initially changed estimated from 40 minutes to 1 hour, which was fine, but then the food was 30 minutes later than that. Called restaurant to find out what was happening, no apology, just told to wait another 5-10 minutes, They never pay attention to your special instructions either. Food is great though, don’t get me wrong.

Amazing food. I had to wait a little because the restaurant has just started service and my house is difficult to find. But man oh man was it worth the wait. Pumpkin katsu and veggie gyoza ramen are so good. Also the veggie yaki soba was lovely. At other restuarants I find this dish can be very bland if not cooked right but this chef knows his stuff!

Chicken katsu arrived warm but only tasted 'ok'. Not worth the price considering Wasabi and Wagamama both offer it cheaper and better quality. Ordered a portion of sushi in order to meet the delivery price. It was awful. Tasted foul. Presentation of it was nice in the box however the quality of fish was very suspect.

Absolutely fabulous- really enjoyed the sushi and katsu salad. Delivery was early too - great food and service to match.

Nearly 2 hours for a 4-item order. Granted it was a rainy Friday night so they must have been busy, but still... As for the food, the Salmon Sushi box was nice, as were the avocado Maki and the edamame. Shame that the soft shell crab tempura tasted off! All in all, I will think twice before ordering again.

1st time ordering from Iso sushi, despite the delivery being an hour and a half, the food was delicious. Generous portions, amazing salmon box and would definitely order again.

rocket in the veggie sushi seems like a strange choice. good otherwise. they topped the delivery time from standard 1h up to 1.5h but then delivered in 45mins so that’s great!

Delivery time advised was 30-45 mins. As soon as I ordered it was to be a 1.15hr wait. It eventually arrived 1.5 hours later Too long to wait for take away I'm afraid. Food was average.

Terrible from start to finish. Issue with just eat meant they didnt receive my order untill over an hour after i had ordered it, then tried to cancel as i had to go out but they assured me it wouldnt be long and insisted they delivered ver it rather than give me a refund. After another hour the food arrived. Miso soup cold and not nice, fish seems less then fresh and of really average quality, seaweed salad bot good either. Do not waste your money.

my first bad experience. food cold so had to warm it in microwave. booked at 8:20pm, confirmed delivery for 9:40pm which was ridiculously late. arrived 10:05pm with receipt showing it had been cooked and packed at 8:34pm. so had been sitting around for 1hr 30mins. quality of food was still good, though I had to fully warm it in the microwave.

Katsu was nice same as sushi not the squid waste of money

We order chicken Teriyaki and King prawns Tempura, the chicken was very very dried and for sure not grilled, the sauce was just soya, Prawns where fried in a very old oil, the old food smelled like when the oils I burned and refused to many times. Very disappointed, we have to through away the food.

Nigiri had about half the rice it should have and was in a lump, rather than the normal elongated shape.

First time ordering from ISO. The pumpkin katsu tasted great, could do maybe with some vegetables but would order again. also ordered the vegetable sushi pack and my friend said the rice tasted off so I'm too sure about the freshness but hey, didn't die.

Delivery man spoke to his manager and offered the food for free for the inconvenience (did not ask for such thing) and dropped it off to us where we were. Love the food from this place, especially the mochi. V authentic. Friday night seems v busy, so it was a long wait but no longer than the estimated time given. Ordered around 9/9.15ish, food came 10.20ish... within the estimated time but boy were we hungry by the time it came!

they always give a new delivery time when you've placed your order. this shows that it is freshly made and not stewing in a pan for ages / pre prepared.

Lovely sushi. Sweet potato tempura a bit heavy on the batter, salmon teriyaki lovely but a bit too much sauce (so soaked the rice too much), and dorayaki off the shelf/not made in-house. Would order again.

Food quality was good, but took 2 hours to deliver my food without letting me know why. I had to call them for them to then explain they were delayed because it was Ramadan.

My meal was superb! My food came 20 minutes early and the portion sizes are generous. I ordered the Salmon & Avocado Hand Roll which was very filling and quite large, I also ordered Chicken Gyoza Ramen, Potato Chilli Salad and Soft Shell Crab & Yuzu Tobiko ISO. I look forward to ordering again and trying something different.

A lot less food then I expected. Took a long time to arrive. Bit of a let down.

Vegetable Tempura was great. The Yakiudo was fairly nice. I think you might want to press the tofu before you coat it. The Katsu sauce was there but it was let down by the tofu falling to bits when cut. Maybe drain/press/season tofu next time.

Came here for lunch recently and really enjoyed it here. Had the Salmon sushi on the lunch menu, was delicious, nice fresh cuts of salmon. My only preference would be to see brown rice sushi on the menu.

I've ordered from ISO numerous times. Always pleased with the service and quality of food. This time around I tried the Kimchi Chicken...delicious!

The food was nice but not amazing. The delivery time was the best part- only about 25 minutes perf !! Sadly the ramen was colddddd and too bland, I needed to add a heep of chilli powder myself to get some flavour. I hope my next order will be better

We have followed the Owner ‘Bobby’ from his last position in Richmond because he has an impressive humble personality, a natural manager, excellent hospitality skills and genuinely interested in giving you the best service and food that he can supply.We used to go regularly to a Japanese restaurant in Kew Road Richmond, not just because we enjoy Sushi but we found the General Manager (along with other customers) most welcoming and an employee genuinely interested in giving his customers a good service and an excellent eating experience out. We always noticed that all the regular customers who visited this restaurant were not necessarily there because it was the best Japanese restaurant in the area, but more to for the experience of meeting up with ‘Bobby’ the General Manager and to know that they were in his capable hands.It became quite a shock to us and other locals to find 6 months ago that Bobby had suddenly left! The owner who also owns the Chinese restaurant and the Vietnamese restaurant opposite and who certainly has not acquired any hospitality skills in his experience in catering, always appeared very reluctant to allow any of his staff to pass on any details of where Bobby could be contacted.We went in there only two more times and found that the food alone left us without any desire for us to return.It was a real delight to meet with a past employee of the restaurant and to hear that Bobby had now ventured into opening up his very own Japanese Sushi restaurant in Twickenham.We visited the new restaurant UMI (which means Ocean in Japanese) in York Road Twickenham on Saturday for the first time and as we had expected we were certainly not disappointed with the hospitality and certainly not with the Bobby’s dinning out experience. We were greeted by our dear friend and now restaurant owner Bobby who found the whole experience of past customers keenly seeking to follow him in his new venture, quite overwhelming and frequently became emotional throughout the evening when even more old customers appeared for a meal in his new restaurant and to catch up with him. El restaurante de sushi anterior en esta dirección cerrada de primavera 2016. Umi inaugurado a finales de junio 2016 y esta fue nuestra primera visita. Nos encantó cada bocado! La comida es muy fresca, el menú tiene una opción excelente. Hay algunos elementos conocidos pero también algunos rollos especiales que eran deliciosas. El vino de la casa es un poco dulce, así que vamos a optar por el sauvignon blanc la próxima vez que también tienen por copa.

Food came quickly. The Katsu chicken was very nice but the Yakisoba was disgusting. Had a strange taste, and way too much chilli sauce. A little disapointed for the price we paid.
