Plenty of parking, I liked the layout which didn’t put you too close to other diners and not cramped, amazing views and good ambiance, the service was spot on and the food was of a very good standard, plentiful and all arrived hot and beautiful presented. My first time visiting here, definitely won’t be the last and I highly recommend it to anyone.

I agree with all the reviews, an excellent place to eat with fantastic views. My only criticism are the comic style murals on the front of the building which detract from the quality of the restaurant

A really nice appointed restaurant with fantastic scenic views. Food was really great, very friendly helpful staff from the first moment we arrived. We were annoyed we hadn’t found it sooner, as we could not fault anything apart from some intrusive loud knocking noises from the kitchen area which did not help when watching the Rugby World Cup on the TV. However, it was a good experience on my husbands birthday, shame it did not have the customer footfall it deserves as it was by far the best restaurant we had visited on our holiday.

What a find! Hidden behind the filling station n the A40 out of Carmarthen going towards the M4 you will find the Nantycaws filing station and cafe. A real little find, super good and great friendly service as far from a greasy spoon as you can think of as it’s a very smart restaurant with outstanding views, will definitely be a favourite and will recommend

Called in here at the weekend for a takeaway meal to enjoy on the beach, the food was far better than I expected, thought this was just a greasy spoon but I was very wrong. The cake especially was lovely. Will definitely be spending more of my money here rather than st elli bay from now on.

I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales. Th

Only came across this hidden cafe with a community spirited hostess on our way back to South Wales & were smitten by how friendly and accommodating they were. If anyone in your group has a hidden need, for example avoiding cafes with a cabinet full of coca cola cans, Croes y Ceiliog at Llanwrda has the solution, making you feel like a family member. Their tasty home made food too = return visit a definite!

We visited while on holiday and had a fantastic early evening meal. The hosts were very attentive and looked after the children really well. Very warm atmosphere and great menu variety. Would highly recommend.
