Nanny Mary’s Desserts in South Ayrshire

Ordered nachos with loaded cheese. Handful of frozen crisps with cheap grated cheese totally unmelted. Smallest portion .utterly disappointed and very angry I actually paid for this

First time visit got everything we wanted lovely young lady served us with a smile will be coming back also the milkshakes I’d recommend you getting one made for a great late night experience family friendly

Paid for extra onion rings and got the same amount as what I got in small portion, also paid for salad on my sandwich and in steady of I. The sandwich it was flung at the side. Like a cut tomato and ripped lettuce. Tried to call but no answer

Best burger in Scotland? What happened?! Went here on a Thursday evening at 6pm as a family. All seemed okay when we arrived, although not much atmosphere about the place, and the girl serving seemed like she didn't want to be there. With our toddlers making a racket, we quickly ordered 2 different burgers from the menu and 2 kids meals. When it came, to our surprise, were 2 plain burgers, no relish, no sauce, no salad, just 2 plain burgers on a bun. When questioned, the girl stated that we ordered plain burgers... What? Apparently you have to ordered the individual salad items and sauce seperately. And she didn't point this out or ask if we wanted plain burgers... No other burger place on earth makes you opt in for toppings by default. Well maybe five guys, but they always ask what toppings you want. I asked her to bring us a plate of salad which she did, with lettuce, tomato and onion. Yay. Had to ask again for any mayo. Burgers were dry and tasteless. Chips although cajun tasted like they only had paprika on them, no salt. Kids macaroni was very poor quality, a microwave meal would have been better. Sorry, but if places like this exist in lieu of amazing places such as Smokehouse which recently shut down, I don't see it lasting long. Sadly. Didn't try the desserts so perhaps they would have been something to talk about. Ps. Ventilation is poor, when we got home, sadly all our jackets and backpack smelled of grease/cooking and had to be aired outside. Not what you want for a family meal out really.

Delicious food,lovely hosts we especially loved the fluffy pancakes( we didn’t have a portion as good in a long time!) the place is very lively, lots of locals seem to frequent it and it has a bustling atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely breakfast

No strawberries or banana available for my pancake Sunday breakfast order, no blackpudding available for our 2nd breakfast choice. Cheap teabags, cheap beans, absolutely disgusting quality bacon used when we did get our replacement orders with pretend butter for toast. Then despite not being able to fulfill our initial orders we were charged full price. Disappointing and won't be back.

A quick stop off between trains. Handy location,friendly staff, and good prices. Chilli cheese dog and loaded fries were the business. Wish I'd left space for an ice cream 😋👍🏻

Nanny Marys reminds me of an American mom and pop cafe. Delicious, hand-pattied burgers. Spicy cajun fries. Loads of dessert waffles to choose from. It's a family business and they're very friendly. They're also very affordable. My only issue is the lack of ice. I love an icy cold Coke with my burger and drinking it out of a cold can just isn't the same. But, for the price, they make the best darn burgers I've found in this area. It's our new favourite place. And they're open late!

Waited waaaay over an hour for food tonight through Just Eat then received a “enjoy your food” message- NO FOOD DELIVERY AND IGNORING PHONE!!!! Avoid at all costs. Over £20 stolen from scumbag restaurant

My wee sister my auntie and me. Meeting up Ior a wee bite to eat. A lovely wee breakfast had we. 2 hot drinks, 1cold, I enjoyed my latte. Nice and clean and the staff were lovely. A really nice, welcoming, crackin place! On the wall, some local artwork makes good chat In turn it makes the atmosphere better. Thinks me it does does that. ✌🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌻

Fab veggie breakfast, pleasant service, lovely desserts, and dog friendly. Recommended.

Just had a fantastic meal from Nanny Mary's. Particularly loved the Louisiana wings (tasty and great value) and the chilli burger which was bursting with flavour. Will definitely be ordering again soon

Wow! This place is a shambles. We ordered at 7pm and it is now going to be 9:50 when the food arrives?!? Do not recommend

just ordered on just eat food has still not arrived after hours and can not find a active telephone number for business have flagged this with google for the inactive Cumnock number to be removed from page edit: delivery drivers car broke down still leaving 1 star review as there no up to date contact information alliable on line.

Very good burgers but the place looks like it could do with a good clean and staff were outside constantly smoking. Food was good but I was very put off with the smoking and cleanliness of the premises.

First time ordering from Nanny Mary's but it won't be the last Ordered Ferrero Sundae and my daughter had the Oreo Waffle. Cramped full of chocolatey goodness And delivery was quicker than they said Will Defo be back to try more delicious treats

Tried a couple of burgers from here last week and was very impressed. 2 burgers in each bun which were very tasty. Also had the loaded fries which were also awesome. Can’t wait to try again.

My fiancé Austin and I ordered from Nanny Mary's for the first time tonight and it was so wonderful that I just had to leave a review. The cheeseburgers are delicious, cooked to perfection, and I love that you can specify what you want prior to collection, which is so helpful for specific requirements, I'm autistic and found this such a useful website feature. The fries were also wonderful, and my fiancé had a banana milkshake that was so flavourful. For dessert we opted for the white rabbit brownie which was the perfect treat to share. The staff there were so polite and friendly, we'd eat here any time and would recommend it to anyone.

If I could give zero I would, the burgers and chips were drowned in salt and my partner is puking his back up,disgusting

Ordered a few times from here previously with no issues, however ordered a burger than was undercooked and pink in areas, I called the restaurant and the response was I cooked it myself so I doubt it, basically saying I’m lying in the nicest possible way, rejected replacement and asked for refund

Got a milkshake burger and waffles and they were absolutely smashing burgers were juicy and full of flavour milkshake Nice and thick definitely be buying again

We love our deserts and called in for an afternoon treat. There was a great choice on the menu and we both went for two different tyoes of cheesecake. My husband strawberry and mine ferrero rocher. Both came out extactly the same but wuth different toppings. The toppings were the best part. I left my cheesecake as it was tasteless.

I stopped in at the Kilmarnock shop today as I had walked past it a few times and was curious to see what it was like. The menu was very reasonably priced but that sometimes comes at the expense of the portion size or the quality of the food. Well, I can definitively say that was NOT the case here! I ordered the spicy beef nachos and the food came out fast and when I opened the box it was everything I ever want nachos to be. Loads of oozing cheese, really tasty toppings and I was stuffed by the end of it. 10/10 will definitely be back and will recommend to friends!

Ice blast isn’t even real ice blast, it was so icey it couldn’t fit up the straw and only the juices came out which left me with a huge clump of ice. I was also given the wrong flavour. Ice cream was half melted by the time it got there and wasnt given the right amount of change back as driver came unprepared. Won’t be back

Cute little dessert parlour, staff were friendly enough, but a little dismissive and in a rush. The strawberry crepe I ordered wasn't the best. First of all when I got home the box and plastic bag the crepe came in was dripping in sticky red sauce. It dripped all over my floors and table. Quite a mess (maybe need to rethink packaging and quality of sauces)The quality of the crepe was not the best as the crepe was too thick and more pancake like. The fresh strawberries were lovely as was the Ice cream. Edible experience but the crepe needs a lot of improvement appearance and quality wise.

Went for a walk and came across this gem of a place i got the pirri pirri chicken burger cajun fries and a nuttella milkshake my husband had the build your own burger and chips with a cheeky snowball milkshake and boy did they not disapoint i will be cumming back to ayr next month and nanny marys is my first stop

By far the best dessert place Iv ever been to and Iv basically tried all of them in Ayrshire 😂 the waffles are made right then and there in front of you and the crepes are amazing

Amazing for anyone with a sweet tooth

Been here a few times now, and I am the biggest dessert lover in existence, and this is the best dessert place. The sundaes are surreal, the cookie dough is the best I’ve ever had, the crepes are just fantastic. A dessert lovers absolute dream. Cannot recommend more. P.s even the 3rd hottest chicken wings are super hot!

I had a "Death by Burger" and A Caramel Sundae And both were absolutely delicious, the customer service was brilliant, I couldn't have asked for anything more, I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Tried many milkshakes and burgers from other places and this place was absolutely delicious i had the chicken burger and reeces milkshake and i was not disappointed very tasty and fresh

Amazing desserts and omg the burgers!!!

First time ordering and must say we were very disappointed. The milkshakes were watery and tasteless with a foamy cream on top which sadly went straight to sink. The crepe was hard and solid and didn’t even taste like a crepe should. The cheesecake was crusty and the white chocolate sauce didn’t fix it at all. The waffles were soggy and the only edible thing there was were the bananas and strawberries. The hot apple pie seems overpriced taking the quality of what arrived. Safe to say the ice cream was pretty nice but probably because it wasn’t made by the restaurant. EDIT TO OWNERS ANSWER : I am very happy that you've done an investigation and I'm concerned that you don't even recognize your desserts. This is exactly what I have received from your shop. You should be aware of what you guys serve to other people and know your food quality. I don't think you have any competitors in serving as disgusting food as yours but who I am to judge since I specialise in selling clothes. Maybe after having some of your food I could be a potential competitor because I'm sure I can make anything more eatable at home.
