Nando's Worthing in Worthing

Had a great meal out this evening. Member of staff Joe really went above the call of duty to help out with a tricky problem. Many thanks.

The customer service here was 10/10 and the server named Lee left me no choice but to leave a good review. He told me that he loves he's job and putting a smile on people's faces, which makes a difference to when you have had a long day.

Came here on a Sunday evening, welcomed by the lovely manager, good food served in good time, definitely coming back again

Ordered on their online service, waiting 15 minutes after the delivery time to be told they canceled the order. I had to call them to find out. No explanation as to why and didn't give me any resolution. Then whilst on the phone I got an email to cancel the food. Refund in 5 to 7 days. This is just not good enough.

Popped in Friday eve around six and had a good choice of tables - quickly filled up afterwards though. Food was up to par for Nandos and arrived promptly, nothing amiss. Staff were super helpful and kind!

It was getting to be past lunchtime, the traffic from Brighton had been horrendous and the specific store we were in Worthing to visit didn't have the specific thing that we'd come to buy. Chicken is a cheer up food almost as good as bacon, surely? Nandos it is then. Nice big windows, bright and warm, some empty tables out of the direct beaming sunlight. Table 23 suited us plenty of surrounding elbow room too, we pointed and pouted and 'Host with the Most' Lee smiled and wafted us into our seats, giving us a chance to undo layers of chunky knitwear before giving us the Nando's version of 'Hi, Have you ever been to a Hsrvester before blurb'. Loos upstairs, you can order via the app, or scan the QR code on the table or at the counter over there'. Over there, James was guarding the Portuguese egg custard tarts and making sure that none of the chilli oil from the mixed olives gets tossed all over anywhere it shouldn't. Making him fiddle with that expensive touchscreen tech we ordered at the counter and he was gracious enough not to roll his eyes when I didn't know where my membership number was on my phones digital Nandos card. Found it tho. I'm not sure how new it is but I went for the 'new' Chicken chickle cheese and pickle burger, chips and slaw. Ma Baker, with only one of her four sons, (unnecessary, obscure, Boney M song reference, you're welcome) surprisingly went not for the double butterfly breasts but the roasted half Chicken, which everyone knows never comes as a whole half but a leg and a wing instead. Always better to get the double butterfly (plump moistness guaranteed twice) really. Peri fries on the side. Manager Josh saved the day twice, first by fixing and then filling the frozen cocktail slushy swirler and again with some swift corn on the cob action for the lady across the table - I haven't got the teeth for all that twiddling and twirling. If I'm going up and down a length in public its not a cob of sweetcorn, sweetheart! I don't care how authentic the crusty Portuguese bread roll is, it's just not right for use as a burger bun, I don't know why Nandos does it, it's a crusty roll, goddammit! The big ol' slices of gherkin was eye opening though! What a revelation! Absolutely amazing. Chicken cheesy pickle for the win. Josh, Lee and James were Nando's Worthing A-team today, selling chivken all smiles and seaside sparkly eyes.

Went to Nando’s today for the first time Got shown to my table. Sat at table. 10 Mins sitting waiting to get served by anyone. It was reasonably busy so I patiently decided on my food and wine options Eventually after choosing what I’m having I read on the menu that I’ve got to scan a QR code to order. Eh??? Thinking FFS THEN they want my email address as well, the nosey data miners. So I got up and cleared off. Not for me. I’ve since been told by a mate that it’s not table service and you can order somewhere in there without the new world order QR system or getting data mined. Who’d have known. Perhaps get your staff to explain that. Id also heard about your famous sauces but there were none at my table and I couldn’t see how or where you got them. Very poor comms guys. Newcomers aren’t mind readers.

Great experience , there is a waiter called Lee, made our visit one to remember. Very chatty and checked if we had everything we needed. What a lovely man. Thank you Lee.

There’s a leak under the stairs that smells like sewage water. Get that checked before you sell any more food.

Nando’s has always been one of fav places to eat.. great place to eat variety of chicken dishes. Never disappoints.

Unbelievable how friendly and impeccable the service is here. Lee was particularly fantastic, he gave Michelin level service, all the staff were great. Good for allergies

Loads of tables available, but the restaurant was so understaffed that none of them were cleared and we were left hanging about for ages until we decided to go elsewhere.

Excellent food, lots of rocket, spinach and other greens in the Mediterranean Salad and the chicken, and the Mushroom pitta were spot on. Lovely staff. Cannot give it full marks though as the music was exceptionally loud, at 12 noon on a Friday.

Yesterday was the first time my partner and I had ever eaten at a Nando's restaurant. The staff were fantastic, explaining everything to us as they went along. They could tell we had never been there before. They explained the menu, how to order and where everything was. The food was first class. We will certainly returning to this well run restaurant.

We really enjoyed our time at this Nando's. Especially excellent service from Lee! He deserves a raise! If all staff, in all restaurants, where as good as Lee, the culinary world would be a much better place. Food great, atmosphere great. Would go back! Thanks!

Every time I've been here, it's been a great experience. Staff are always welcoming, the entire restaurant is spotless from the dining area to the toilets. I recently had the whole chicken and seasoned fries, as per my photo. The chicken was cooked perfectly, it was so soft and succulent, even my 4 year old daughter ate it and she wouldn't normally chicken off the bone. It was absolutely delicious and I really recommend this Nandos in Worthing. It is situated in a great little area. My only gripe would be that some of the tables are really close together and make it hard to get out of your chair and you disturb the people next to you, still gets a 5 star. Other than that, it's fantastic.

Sad .. nobody bothered to say at the entrance or when sat down they have half menu missing items .. there was no point to order food here .. such a shame having half the menu on a Saturday. Management should manage their food orders better or get a new manager

So this was the first time I had ever been to a Nandos (shocking right), and I have to say the whole experience was fantastic! My friend and I were greeted by a lovely fella in a pattered shirt (I'm sorry I don't remember your name), who let us choose our table, and offered the use of the disabled wc as I was using my walking stick, which was greatly appreciated. He explained through things with me as I'd not been before, and he was super friendly and helpful. I then placed my order at the till with a gentleman in a black shirt (possibly Joe if my receipt is correct) who was also really helpful and friendly. The food came out really quick and was fresh, hot, and looked amazing. It tasted even better. Delicious flavours! I had the Fino Pitta with Peri chips and Portuguese tomato salad and bottomless coke zero. All of the food was delicious! The chicken in the pitta was moist, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The chips were delicious, and I loved the Lemon & Herb dressing. The tomato salad was tangy and sweet and delicious. The server came and check in with us to ask if everything was OK and also offered extra sauces. Absolutely excellent service from everyone, delicious food that I will definitely be returning for more, and my compliments to the chefs. You gained yourself a repeat customer in me today, and I had to come on and leave these comments.

Love this Nando’s. Me and my friend were served by a lovely guy named Lee who has probably given the best customer service I’ve ever received. So attentive, smiley and keen to make sure our experience was top notch! Food was also quick, delicious and good value as always.

Having had a good experience of Nando's on Oxford Street a few years ago I decided to treat my 15 year old son in Worthing this evening. Staff were attentive and friendly but clearly under pressure from a packed restaurant. My veggie burger was mushy, tepid and tasteless. Our chips were dry, chewy and not hot. My rainbow slaw tasted like it had been left out on the side for a day, and although my son had a decent amount of chicken in his wrap he said it was lukewarm and not tasty. He did enjoy the bottomless drink and ice-cream. This meal was light years away from the one we enjoyed in London.

Betsy was a lovely server very helpful and chatty! Food was so good love coming here ! We are regulars, lee was very kind had to give him and Betsy a review.

Josh was extremely pleasant to be served by, he made me rare week day off a treasure. Lee has the biggest friendliest energy- Nando’s Worthing should be exceptional proud to have this lovely man as their employee - treating all individuals with his warmth and happiness. Thanks food was lush.

Went in today on a raining day while shopping, gentleman who served us was friendly and helpful, the food however was virtually cold as came to our table within minutes of being ordered. Chips cold, wrap cold not even can blame the lettuce for making it cold, the only time that was hot hot was the corn on the cob. First time visiting and wouldn't return.

Shocking booked a time slot to collect and had to wait 30min in store why they look after all the delivery drivers maybe try focus on the people in store and not just delivery drivers

Really great service from really friendly staff the only let down is there is not much in the way of vegan options.

We visited this branch for my son's birthday, there were 14 of us. Helen and lee went above and beyond to make our visit as easy as possible with such a large group. Their customer service was amazing and it made our experience. This review is for the delivery option and have to say it is very hit and miss. There is no fault with the actual quality of the food, it is just that too often there are things missing from the order, and when you have spent nearly 70 quid it is very dissapointing. I mean how difficult is it to put some chicken and chips in a bag. Does anybody actually check the order before it goes out.

Great experience at lunch today, the staff were friendly and inviting to talk. Big thanks to the chef who I believe was called Ben who cooked my chicken to perfection! It was beautifully cooked and still juicy, the boss should give you a pat on the back, you’ve been trained well and picked up a good skill in life.

Friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve ever come across in a Nando’s, food quality up to notch with any other decent Nando’s. Brilliant quantity of different sauces to choose from too. Best Nando’s visit in a long while. :)

I had the 4 boneless chicken thighs (med heat) with garlic bread and spicy rice Literally my first time in Nandos, the waitress there was so polite and helpful (I should’ve taken her name! You know who you are) She explained the menu and ordering, when it said what price is for just the chicken or chicken with 2 regular sides I throught they had different clases for sides (regular and classic or something, like you see at Pizza Hut etc.) but no she explained it just means portion size - regular or large. As I say I’ve never been to Nandos before but I’m not quite a lightweight with heat, 5 levels of heat so in the middle I went medium for my first time. It was nice, not too hot but left a zing in my mouth, at first I was thinking “I could do hottet than this” then I had thight #3 and decided “this is my level” Even after #4 I didn’t think it was too much though The sides of garlic bread and spicy rice were tasty, the bread wasn’t overcooked and I like whatever bread they use (not a normal bread or crusty roll) it was crisp on the outside and almost fluffy inside, but it was fairly thin (but not too thin, just right, the Goldilocks of bread) and loaded with garlic butter! Excelent And the rice was delicious, a bit spicy but not overly hot (it helped cool the burn in my mouth after thigh #3&4) perfect accompaniment to the chicken Definatly a return visit on the cards! I’ll get some people from work to do the chicken wings roulette with me 😂

First time in a Nando’s in 10 years with my 2 children and I am so grateful for the guy who served us on 21st July 2024 We lost my children’s grandmother and was first family meal since her death few days earlier so we were all a bit raw The guy who served us insured we were listened too and didn’t rush us, the food was lovely and the guy that checked in was lovely and polite I would recommend going because despite the circumstances one of the best restaurants in Worthing I been to. And I been to many unfortunately!

I was bad the burger was muchy you couldn’t cut it and the corn on the cob was crusty and it was like it’s made yesterday it was 😡

We had an amazing time and the staff was soooo accommodating!!! We came after a friends birthday dinner fell through, and they made the evening so much better! Special shout out to Darren who was incredibly welcoming to us all!!

Me and 2 other friends all went to nandos on Wednesday 28th of August which was a very good experience we were served by a guy named goerge who was incredible very funny and made us all feel welcome eating here which made the experience 10x better. The food was served quickly and was amazing.

Been here twice before visiting the cinema and the food is really nice and fresh- seems to be nicer than some of the other branches I've had from! Staff also really welcoming and all round good experience! The mac and cheese is also great with garlic bread!

Came in this afternoon with a friend of mine and there was no tables really wasn’t very busy at all. Ordered at same time and I received my food 10 minutes before her and was all cold and chips had no peri salt on even though I had ordered it. Her food came and was hot but chicken burned. Dissapointed as she had told me that this Nando’s is way better than the Chichester one but she was disappointed aswell. Excellent waiting team but i just cant complain about the food in person as i feel bad. Not worth £18 will have hotter chips at maccies opposite

Went today for my daughters birthday meal before the cinema. Had a chicken burger. Driest chicken I have ever had. Very disappointed, place had 3 tables of customers, so for a restaurant to serve this when not even busy, I would hate to go when they have customers. Kids enjoyed their chips but for the total cost of a family birthday meal, feel Nandos no longer has a quality control. Money would be better spent elsewhere.

In the middle of Worthing you can easily take a break at Nando's and eat chicken dishes such as burgers and wraps or other things. Our vegan also found something with the plant-based dishes. We were shown to the place and briefly explained in a friendly manner how ordering at Nando's works. We then decided to order via the QR code menu. You can choose different levels of spiciness and also refill drinks. Toilets are upstairs, everything is okay and clean. The food was tasty.

Being in our 80s it was a new venture. We were welcomed by Lee who made us feel at ease and showed us the ropes. Jenny I think her name was behind the counter helped me enormously. We will definitely go again. Thank you to all the staff who are behind the counter.

Ordered a takeaway through the Nando’s site. It’s turned up with a couple of things missing. No chicken in the Chicken Caesar Salad just miserable looking wet lettuce. Also no slaw in pitta Called to tell them about it and met with “not our problem call deliveroo. I suggested it was the restaurants problem because we were missing food. Asked to speak to manager and it was refused and hung up on. Tried calling back 3 times they continued to pick up phone and put straight down without talking. Expect more when spending over £60on a take away. Feel like they don’t care because they know another customer will walk through the door. I work in this industry and would not dream of treating my customers like this!! Disgusting!

I’m a usual customer. I came here with my wife and son on Sunday. I ordered half a chicken medium. They forgot my garlic bread, and my chicken was old. I complained and they gave me my garlic bread eventually but refused to sort out the chicken. It was strange because on piece was warm and the other very very cold and small. I complained to the manager and I was it was normal and chickens are smaller now ? Was a bit shocked

I think the food at the majority of Nandos is consistently good, and this branch was certainly that. But, where they stood out is the staff were exceptional. Particularly the chap who seemed to be the shift manager. Pleased to be able to tick another Nandos off the list, particularly a good one!

I went on afternoon for a couple of times, food is good. Sevice is excellent(when its not busy). Another time i wnt at 8pm , its buys they served me half cooked chicken and garlic bread. I want to go again, but not expecting half cooked chicken
