Nando's Rochdale in Rochdale

I hadn't been for around 18 years, had skipped lunch and was going to the pics, so thought I'd treat myself. From memory had half a chicken, two spicy rice's and a bottomless Coke Zero. Best part of TWENTY QUID!!! The portions were tiny(think it was a pigeon), far smaller than I remember. I'll stick to the sauces and cooking at home in future...

Terrible, how does a Nando’s have NO chicken?

One of the more mediocre Nandos experiences I've had. The food was just okay. I'm not sure if the chicken was fresh either as it wasn't as succulent as I was expecting.

Nice place...kids portion was a little smaller than other Nandos otherwise great.

Hey guys can I just say I am a very good home cook and can make anything. I have known about Nandos for ages but never tried it before 3 months ago and can I say it's bloody well nice and the people at the Rochdale branch are all very nice and friendly so top job guy we have been back loads of times 👍👍

I’m a regular to this Nando’s and was truly disappointed with the food they served us I ordered a chicken platter it came within 10 minutes which is quite quick normally have to wait at least 20 minutes but that doesn’t bother me as long as the food is fresh & hot well not today it was burnt chicken and dry like it had been sat there gone cold and re heated the chips was the same looked re heated but came to the table like warm I hope in the future they sort themselves out this really wasn’t good I’ll show you pictures you can see for yourself 👎

i went in and the waiters didnt really give us the nicest welcome , found it abit rude how one of the waiters interacted with my partner so we found a table by ourselves sat down and waited atleast half an hour to be waited on and it wasnt until my partner had to ask them if they were going to serve us to which they just told us “qr code or go to the till” to which he did then he went to the till and ordered , he went to the drinks machine and it wasnt working to which he went to go on to inform one of the waiters it wasnt working, to which they replied they already know so clearly they just didnt bother to let him know, and anyways when the food came after a while the chicken was burnt , the food overall just didnt look fresh and we had payed 35 quid for this which i think was a total waste of money considering the mid portion, i feel like if there was an adult there i wouldve been respected more but since we were 2 teenagers we were treated a bit differently and kind of shoved to the side, wont be returning again

I hate to complain but this Nandos is the worst. I guess it’s my own fault for ordering a few times and expecting an improvement. Missing items EVERY single time I’ve ordered for delivery.

Food was good came out quickly manager very polite and welcoming. No problems at all.

Went in to be told half the menu was unavailable! Went to Tribez next door instead was much nicer than Nando’s would have been anyway.

I eat nandos often and end up there most places I travel and In my opinion nandos (Rochdale) are hands down the best. The team over there are extremely helpful and always willing to help, food is always on point and the many times I have been, I've never had an issue.. 👌🏻💯

Very disappointing visit first time trying this branch as i’m normally accustomed to the manchester trafford and oxford road one, the service & the food is atrocious here. I thought all nandos are standardised but this one definitely isn’t. i ordered a dare the share platter of starters and only received two out of the three and then got told this is all i have ordered then had to show the staff the order receipt for them to huff and bring it out. the small pot of gravy was half filled. the chicken was over charred and the hallumi was under charred. the cutlery was stained and dirty and had to clean it myself. only thing they managed to get right was the olives so well done on that. not been to a worse nandos in the uk. also ps. the chicken leg was pink inside with full of juices and cleanliness of seats and table were mid.

The last FOUR times I’ve visited this venue I’ve had the worst stomach either on the day or the day after! Won’t be visiting again.

Food was absolutely disgusting. My meat was pink and apparently they could Not fry chips as their machine was broken. Would never come again. The food was vile. Only good thing was the staff was really nice and accomdating.

FOOD IS COLD WAITING FOR FOOD MORE THEN HOUR AND I HAVE TO ASK AND CHASE STAFF WHERE IS FOOD AND WHEN FOOD ARRIVED FINALLY ITS COLD GARLIC BREAD AND COLD CHIPS CHICKEN IS LITTLE BIT HOT TO BE HONEST THEY DONT MATCH NANDOS

This is a very good Nandos good food good atmosphere

Don't think I've ever been in a nandos as dirty. Kitchen you could see was a mess with a chicken wing in the floor when we walked in and still there when we left. Staff just stood about gossiping. We were sat next to the pass and watched them make our order incorrect and just picking up and swapping wraps / pittas off our plates and swapping. Such a shame but really the worst nandos I've ever been to and let's the brand down massively

The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with that signature peri peri flavour. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Nice atmosphere, fresh food and service is good as well. Only problem is every time you visit they are short of something or the other. Some time they say no chicken, no liver or no loaded fries which makes bit difficult to select from avilable menu.

Took an hour for the food, empty wrap, burnt chicken, a sprinkle of peri salt. A plate of disappointment.

Food took very long to arrive and to top it of, the food arrived cold. Half of the chicken breast that came with the platter ordered was not coated in any marinade, awful bland taste. The staff member - a lady was extremely rude when politely asked a question. The smell coming from the washroom was absolutely horrid. The Rochdale branch is by far the worst of all branches. Do not recommend.

Were refused service and entry because apparently Nandos. A massive conglomerate chain restaurant that prides itself solely on serving Chicken.. had NO chicken. Is there a Chicken shortage at the moment Nandos? Please make this right.

Bad staff Really bad temporary manager My food came half an hour after my friends came. They didn't offer a refund or anything He was mumbling and was really rude to me They kept saying it will be ready in 2 minutes I was really annoyed To top it off my sister accidentally left her bag and no one called us back even though they were cleaning up and saw me leave

Got strong armed into going via my Daughter, the place was busy, we ordered and paid via the app. Food was fairly quick considering, staff did look a bity overwhelmed as the local teenagers ran a mock, however they appeared cheerful. All in all it was okay for very overpriced chicken and chips.

Banging food , top class service and good vibes all round in this Nando’s , won’t be disappointed

Quickest service I’ve ever had in a Nando’s, starters were out about 5 minutes after placing our order and mains were brought over about 5 minutes after our starters were done with. Staff were all very lovely as well

Some of the food came stone cold

Went today 27.04.24, went in just before 9 there was about 18 of us, beautiful food, excellent service by a wonderful young girl, collectively a great team, atmosphere was sooo nice and relaxing, couldn’t thank the manager she was soooo nice, so proud to have a really good restaurant in Rochdale. Thank you guys and keep up the great work.

Don’t waste your money on these guys. Customer service is non existent and food is shocking asked for replacement and it was Raw. it was my sons birthday and this was a bad end to what was an amazing day.

I wouldn't normally leave a bad review but just had to with these. Manager had a bad attitude and was confrontational. I have worked in customer service for 20+ years and wouldn't get away with speaking to people like this. The food was overcooked at first then actually raw once replaced but sides were stone cold by then. When raised with the manager he was almost squaring up to me making it out as if I'm being aggressive when in fact I was just explaining myself. Honestly do not wast your hard earned money on these guys. Go to Manchester Fort always 10/10. Had to give 1 star but deserves none.

As someone with anxiety going in to a restaurant alone to eat is usually a big no no. However coming in today was a refreshing experience Adam was extremely attentive from start to finish checking in on me and not just with me, with other customers too. In fact he didn’t seem to stop. Will definitely be my place to go for solo eating! Food was incredible as always

Visited this venue on Sunday evening..probably my families favourite Nandos. Was greeted with a warm welcome , we were able to choose where we sat.. the table I chose had only just been vacated so they cleaned the table for us.would like to mention a number of staff who went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable...their name was Summer.. thank you again....

Busy and wrong order had to wait all over again poor service

I've been here a few times but was not impressed, so I gave it a miss for a while, so there's always room for improvement, so I gave it another chance and was not disappointed. It was very tasty and the food was fresh, the staff were really friendly. 👌

Before i share my experience i am making sure i tell my friends and family not to go nandos rochdale riverside ! I just visited nandos in riverside i am really shocked by the behaviour of staff instore and thisr service we ordered food and was sat waiting for it but when it got to 30 mins i got annoyed as staff instore the girls working had thier friends come in store they were chatting to them at same time we came and the instore girls working thier friends came so after us waiting 30 mins their order came before us so i got annoyed as staff was not working properly you can see all food sat waiting and manager was new aswell named as Samar and i went up to him in my annoyed mood asked him whats going on with food as people coming after is getting food and half of tables food sat waiting cooked while thier staff is chatting away not paying attention so when i was arguing on tills with manager one of girls working instore called Lamiya came said i am creating a fuss about the wait and i said to her way she is talking is not accepted on top of that she said why i am coming to this store ! that shocked me nandos as company employing staff which dont respect customer and while girl was saying all this in front of manager Samar was stood thier doing nothing about it ! I am really shocked how are they running store and how can staff say to customer why are you coming to store to eat go somewhere else so there is no customer service and on top instore staff lamiya was in back in kitchen area clapping away to me saying to get out ! I hope some one from nandos management reads review and atleast take action against lamiya instore staff for not respecting customer and atitude she had was shocking towards the customers !

Excellent customer service from staff at nandos and brilliant food

I’ve had an amazing time at Nando’s the food was top tier and the service was outstanding thanks to the little waitress Maeesha who in my opinion deserves a raise.

The most friendly team, approachable and attentive. A delight to dine at Nando’s Rochdale. Best Nando’s I’ve ever been to- makes a nice change from the usual hustle and bustle of most Nando’s. Thank you very much!

Nandos staff refused us to pay on the till saying tills were not working while other patrons were paying on the tills,our food was late we waited for our food for over an hour till we asked n they told us there was no chicken ,staff was ignoring us maybe because we insisted on paying on the till instead of the app ,dirty plates also

The food is like any nandos just the hygiene that I have a problem with. The utensils and plates aren’t properly cleaned you can see and felled food stains on both the utensils and the plates. Other than that the food and atmosphere is like any other nandos.

Lovely new halal nandos which are as great as the ones in other towns. However the menu is a bit more limited compared to others.

Absolutely shocking experience. The worst meal I have ever had. I would give this place zero stars if it was possible We were seated at a dirty table and had to clean it ourselves. The restaurant was understaffed and it showed drastically. The food was delivered and all the sides were cold so we kindly requested replacements. My mums food came and it had the wrong spice level on the chicken. I finished my food and still had to wait another 20 minutes for the food to be delivered to my mum, dad, and sister. However, the staff were friendly and apologetic. Would avoid at all costs, go to Bury instead.

I've only been to Nando's in general about four times this was the worst, I've never had a bad Nando's but this was really terrible cold food, waiting 20 minutes for extra things that we ordered from the beginning it just wasn't fresh stuff. Chips were reheated, second lot were reheated again !!!Was so bad asked for my money back. Only got some of the money back, Very disappointed !!!

Lovely food. Was a bit of an ordeal while eating though. Three teenage boys began jeering at us through the window (we were seated closed to the window). Two of them entered and just sat at the table next to us without waiting and began yelling insults etc, nobody interfered. Quite strange.

I went with some family! When we arrived , we were instantly seated and then we ordered a chicken butterfly meal and a boneless platter , which was delicious!! Also the staff were very polite and our food came fast and hot 💗 The sauces are mouth-watering and the atmosphere was so cosy , especially when we were there on a rainy day!! 100% recommended to come here

Been here a few times and the food is always spot on. Waiting times are minimal even during busy periods and the service is very good.

We eat at Nandos frequently, And i must say that this one is the best. It's the best for its great service, staff and managers. Unlike other Nandos, the hygiene levels are kept at high. Most Nandos, the cutlery is dirty but this one has never been. The managers personally always greet and enquire to make sure our experience is memorable. They give suggestions to save money and get the same amount of food when ordering. The food is always at a high standard. Overall This Nandos goes beyond the average fast food chain service requirements and they always put in the extra effort for us to enjoy.

Food at nandos is always going to be decent, but the service at the Rochdale branch is infuriating. I waited over 45 minutes for my food, at which point my freinds had already been served their food and finished it. After speaking to a member of staff several times regarding my food they had noticed that they never submitted my order.

Waited 30 minutes for food for it to be wrong, watched the waitress playing with her hair scratching her nostril and picking her ears before touching my plate to bring it to me staff not very helpful when needed doesn't explain what you need to do as it's basically self serve not table service which we had to discover on our own altogether not very impressed with the establishment

The best Nando's I've ever been to, all the staff have a smile and are happy to help, food is great - very rarely there's a issue but if there is it's resolved quickly and professionally. Speaking on behalf of my work team. Wednesday lunch Brad aka Chris B greeted us with a smile,found an area to accommodate us all, incorporating varying times of arrival (due to meetings ,training ,overrunning calls....you know the work type things)Esther advised on how to order ,served up the food, cleared the tables , took the mandatory group photo and checked if we were enjoying our lunch ....she was always cheerful and smiling . Our food was good , piping hot and to say it was a busy lunch only 1 diner out of 20 had a slight delay.Thanks team for a lovely Christmas Nandos experience. As an aside we pick Nandos as it covers the various dietary needs for the team ...

Called in for the first time here last night. Great service very clean and food was as good as always from nandos. Definitely will be back. Staff very helpful and attentive. Thanks guys

Went in here today, with a friend and our three kids. The service by the staff especially the man in a blue shirt and two girls that's served and cleaned the table was excellent. Food was hot well presented and cooked well not to mention tasty. Toilets and facilities cleaned to a high standard. Over all absolutely brilliant in here today. I don't get out much with the kids so this was really enjoyable. Thankyou

First time coming here after finding out it was halal sooo my experience was amazing to be fair walked in to a lovely greeting by avei and food was fresh and by far the best Nando’s meal I’ve had in a long time . Even the seating area was nice and comfortable. No long ques and the food come out quick . Well done guys 👏 .. would recommend to anyone

Service at night is terrible. Food sat waiting under heat lamps for 10 mins as they couldn't coordinate my full order in a timely manner. Staff walking round and serving with dirty clothes and jackets on. Whilst I appreciate it is only nandos I would of expected more. Ps. Macho Brussels were nice.
