Holy Crepe ! in Rochdale

Received an order this evening and was wrong. Ordered and paid for the loaded Blackpool donuts and received plain donuts! Ordered and paid for 2 ice cream tubs only received one! Attempted to call numerous times to rectify but unfortunately couldn't get through.

The 10 year old kid who works behind the counter is full of attitude, the large lady has got even larger attitude. Avoid at any cost, save your life and save your health and your money.

Rude staff, order never arrived. Was told they would send more. Nothing arrived

If there is anything i can say about the business, it is do not waste your time nor money on them. I order via the app and as my order came i only received one of my 3 items, I proceeded to call up and the girl on the phone then told me that they “must have ran out”, it is completely obscure to me how a company can advertise items that are not available and instead of calling the customers to tell them that there were none available proceed to just not bring them and then therefore making customers lose £15,I called back and the girl said that they could give another item however days later i am still waiting for that to be delivered? absolutely appalling business do not buy from here.

We enjoyed some crepes with berries. One we ordered with chocolate, and another with white sauce. Oh my, they were delicious. I favoured the white sauce, while my partner preferred the one with chocolate. We didn't opt for Uber Eats; instead, we strolled in, and the experience was really pleasant. We'll definitely return.

Takes ages to get delivered doesn’t read the driver instructions on Uber eats foods great though!

Would have been a 0 if I could! So I ordered food at 8:40pm on Sunday 23rd July it then said at 9:40pm that my order has arrived but it hadn’t so I then called the restaurant 4 times with no answer from them, so I called again on my fifth try and got through to a lady who said my order was out for delivery and will be with me shortly. By 11:24pm my order still had not arrived. We even checked outside to see if it was left at the door and nothing. So I then proceeded to call the restaurant another 4 times, all of which I didn’t get an answer to to see where my order was and if it was even out for delivery. I went to my just eat app and told yourselves that it didn’t turn up at all to which the following day just eat messaged me saying that the restaurant was not going to give me a refund. I spent £25 on some deserts that not only didn’t come but I was misinformed by the staff at the restaurant as they told me twice my order was on the way. Do not order from this place unless you want them to literally rob you!

This would have been 4/5 stars if only for a few things: delivery time, customer service and missing item. I had ordered through deliveroo at 8.10pm on Saturday night, I ordered 2 big daddy cookie doughs, a freddo cookie dough and a brownie. I understand on a Saturday night many delivery places will be busy and rushed off their feet, but after being told our order will be delivered around 8.45pm and then not receiving it until nearly 10pm is ridiculous. Couldn't even cancel the order or ring to ask where it was, I rang 3 times and all 3 times it went straight to voicemail. It doesn't take nearly 2 hours to most likely heat up some premade cookie dough and package a brownie. All 3 cookie doughs say on deliveroo they come with ice cream, only 2 ice creams arrived. On the other hand, the desserts were nice but not a nearly 2 hour wait nice. I would say if you are thinking of ordering from here on a Saturday night be prepared for a long wait (probably even order before your tea) and to not get proper customer service.

Twice I have ordered from here and the food hasn't turned up and they ignored the phone calls

Ordered for delivery whilst staying in Rochdale for work. I got a hotdog, nachos, cornflake tart and the mixed fondue to eat later. I was sceptical it would arrive in one piece just because of what I'd ordered but it all arrived perfectly and still hot within half hour of ordering. The food was really tasty! Definitely recommend.

Sadly don't like to leave negative reviews however the time it takes for food to arrive is really ridiculous, we waited over two hours for a waffle and an apple crumble which have still not arrived, when I finally managed to get through to staff I was spoken to quite rudely when I asked to cancel the order. I do hope the company looks at the reviews as this really isn't good enough. At least provide honest responses instead of the usual "it's just left" when it clearly hasn't. It has arrived in the past but both times it's taken far too long. I think I'll order from Frozen Moments in the future as I've never had an issues with them.

Ordered at 10pm & food didn't arrive until 12:30am. Seems to be all about the money & no service with this place.

Absolute shambles of a business, waited over 2 hours for some deserts, first the rang me to change my order to something els, was ok with that then hour goes by still nothing so rang them they said the order is on it’s away. Rang again another 45 mins later and said they said they’re waiting on a driver. So given me false information. Pathetic 👍🏼

This place is a joke. Placed an order through Uber Eats @ 9pm now its 10.25pm and order has not been delivered. Trying to contact Holy Crepe but the phone is going on a voice mail.

I hate giving negative reviews but I think this one needed to be said. I ordered on the phone for collection where i was told it would be a 20 minute wait. I arrived about 25 minutes later and went inside to pay and was then told that it’s going to take another 30 minutes! Just to reiterate what the majority of the other reviews: no customer service skills, a smile is worth so much! and i just didn’t get one at all- After collecting the food and going home I tried the bubble waffle cone, they had made a mistake with the order and put nutella instead of normal chocolate :( i rang them regarding my concern for allergies and that this is not a mistake that should be taken lightly, and that i would like a new one delivered in exchange. the woman over the phone was impolite, blunt and was not willing to do anything about this. she explained that it was a new trainee who made the mistake and we should come and collect another one. it really is a shame because the food was actually okay, but the experience was definitely subpar. won’t be coming back again nor recommending

Absolutely delicious crepe. Visited last nite and got crepe with chocolate sauce strawberries milk chocolate and 🍓 ice cream that was sooooooooo yummy 😋 thanks Laura 👌

Ordered for delivery 10/02/2023 via Uber Eats. - the order came in the time frame specified - the delivery person was friendly / courteous - as you can see the items don’t travel great but the majority were intact - the donuts were fresh/tasty and my preference was the Kinder Bueno - whippy ice cream was ok, the bubblegum sauce was good (not enough) and the sherbert was nice but clumpy/stuck to the sauce so was concentrated so if possible in future to ask for that separate so can be sprinkled on manually Overall good and worth ordering from 👍🏽 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Order arrived about 1 hour late. Took about 1hour40mins to deliver a realitively small order to our house 5 mins away. Part of the order was also missing.

Took nearly two hours , cold , missing a topping , bland .

Avoid. Placed an order at 9:45 was due latest at 10:40. Rang them 6 times at 10:40 no answer. Finally answered at 10:50 to tell us there was no delivery driver available right now. We had to ring back again at 11:15 to be told still no driver so had to go and collect the order ourselves. Asked if we could have the delivery fee back to be told there was ‘nothing’ they could do🤣 Instead got slid a poor excuse of a cup of sweets to compensate for the 90 minute wait for a waffle and milkshake and the delivery fee we paid even though having to collect it . The staff were all arguing. No sorry from anyone. Poor excuse of a place. Zero customer service skills. Need to get their act together.

Order from here at 9pm didn’t receive our order till 10:30pm are they delivering from Spain? Whole order was cold and Ice cream complete liquid, not surprised as it took an hour and a half. Complained and for a refund I have to send the food back which tasted burnt anyway. Awful would never order again

Ordered from here first time and had to wait around 2 hours then when it eventually got ere i got something that looks like finger nails in 2 of the cakes. Had to throw them away aswel as the rest of the stuff. Total waste of money and the staff dont even bother with what you have to say. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! I have sent them pictures and videos and they open the messege and dont reply. If you want to wait all night for a dessert with finger or toe NAILS then this is the right place for you

Blackpool donuts well could of gone to Blackpool and back the time I waited for them. 2 n half hour wait shocking service.

Delivery was 2+ Hours through Deliveroo, they issued a refund and then at midnight woke the whole house up banging on the door. Don’t answer the phones abs shocking service all round

Order from here regularly. Sometimes a bit of wait. But Always worth the wait. Do yourself a favour order and enjoy.

Placed an order at 9.30pm, fast forward to 11.30 it still hasn’t arrived, called the shop and told them by no means we’re they to come to the house at such a ridiculous hour my family had all fell asleep and I was struggle to stay awake, went to bed. 10 minutes late they were banging at the door, house in darkness and it’s nearly midnight. They need closing down tw beyond ridiculous, and judging off the comments this isn’t a one off. How embarrassing.

Shocking service, food and timescales. Never again!

Had a bad experience with this place first time round. Waited 2 hours for 16 mini doughnuts. When they arrived they were cold which wasn’t great. We then found a dessert place in Bury that exceeded our expectations so since then have been ordering from there. Today it was closed so we thought we’d try Holy Crepe again. Rubbish service yet again taking another 2 hours for our food to arrive. I ordered a crepe with ice cream only they forgot the ice cream. Whats worse is that the crepe was one of them microwaveable pancakes you get from the supermarket. What kind of a dessert place uses shopbought pancakes?? Awful and judging by all the other reviews I’ve read, I’m not the only one who has had bad experiences! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Don't bother ordering from here after a 2 hour wait last night the food came it was cold and part of it was missing after a 10 minute conversation on the phone with a girl who doesn't know the time of day got told they would send it out with the driver well its 10.22am and I still haven't recieved it wheres it gone China? Ordered here as a nice treat for the kids after dinner. After waiting almost 2 hours, still not received anything! Called the restaurant a number of times but that just takes you to a mailbox that is full. Eventually managed to get through to a human, and tried to cancel our order that we haven't received. But they wouldn't do it, as the order is on its way albeit 2 hours later! I told them i wouldn't accept it, they said they would only cancel when their driver returns with the order. So basically meant that I had to wait for the driver to turn him away! Wait for him to get back then try to call them back for a refund.

Wished I’d read the earlier review about the red velvet cake. Soooo disappointed with the size of it given the price, it really was tiny. The Terry’s chocolate orange wasn’t much bigger. The lotus gateau was the size I was expecting for all the cakes. I would’ve expected bigger slices for the price. Won’t be going back.

Absolutely disgusting service, placed order for waffle at 10.15pm through uber app,gave an estimated arrival time of 11pm, items were delivered just past midnight at 12.10am and the waffle was stale and cold!

Desserts were average, not worth the 1hr 30 minutes wait. I asked for my order to be cancelled when it was 30 mins late along with a refund but the girl on the phone seemed like she was half asleep and when I asked for a refund told me to go through Uber who offer absolutely no way of getting one. Wouldn’t have ordered if we knew we’d be waiting for so long.

Been to almost every dessert shop in Rochdale but this is by far my favourite, Always fresh and delicious, staff very friendly and polite.

Now been waiting 2 hours for a delivery of 2 waffles and phoning just takes you to a mailbox that is full so guess they are getting to many complaints to keep up with or just not bothered.

Wow.....that's all. Ordered over the phone for pick up Cheesecake and Cookie Dough. Had to wait longer than I thought but wasn't bothered as the cookie dough was being made fresh. Staff were lovely even gave my daughter a cookie too. Excellent service, excellent sweet treats! Cookie dough was to die for.... and the cheesecake got demolished too. Definitely will be back.

Me and my other half ordered from here tonight, I created my own waffle & he ordered apple crumble & custard, we absolutely loved them and will definitely order again. Can’t fault the desserts whatsoever! Highly recommend :)

Delivery time was horrondus waited over an 2 hours when my food should have arrived within 30minutes When I rang up I was told 15mins rang again after 20mins was told driver is out rang after another 30mins they got lost them self. Won't be coming back. Service very poor Delivery time absolutely shocking 😳 Food average.

Ordered at 9.50 delivery was meant to be 11. Rang at 11.20 was lied to by whoever answered the phone saying my order was with the driver when they clearly know it wasn't Waited another 20 mins no sign so rang the shop again. Its now 12.15 am and I have been getting the same message of 'your order may arrive soon.

Ordered tonight, still was waiting after 2 hrs. Rang the shop twice they wasn't even bothered. Was waiting on drivers apparently. If you can't deliver food don't offer a delivery service. Will not order from here again

Worse service I have ever had. Red Velvet cake was anything but red. Looked more like a chocolate cake. Ferrero Roche gateux tasted a bit off. Ferrero Rocher is supposed to be crunchy. What I got was soft. Please avoid!

So disappointed with my red velvet cake. It wasn’t red velvet at all but chocolate, also the slice was tiny, not even a full slice. Not worth the money. I have had cakes before and they were lovely and the size of the slice reflected the price. Sadly today was not one of those days. When we rang, we were dismissed and told that it was the correct cake portion size was given. Such a shame. But one off my list now.

Honestly this is THE WORST experience I have ever had ordering food from this place off of uber eats. Absolutely disgusting customer service, not only through the app and their social media but they won't even answer the phone in their own restaurant. Took about 30 phone calls to get through to them for a girl to answer and directly lie saying they were ''really busy'' and ''the driver just left with it''.. which in fact was a huge load of bs after waiting over 2 hours for 3 items. Evidently she just couldn't have cared less and hung up. That is not customer service and if you're going to act like that then quit your job, clearly you're not good at it. Appalling and hope it gets shut down. Should not be allowed to do this to any customers whatsoever and will not be ordering again

A disclaimer before I start - i've been going to Holy Crepe for over a year now and have sampled the majority of their range of desserts, i'm a repeat customer and this is my honest review of their food and their service. Holy Crepe is my go to location for desserts. There are a lot of great dessert places in Rochdale, but a lot of them seem to charge extortionate prices - £7 for a cookie dough? Are you having a laugh!? Holy Crepe is different - they charge very reasonable prices and for this modest amount of money you get a lot, both in terms of the quality of the food and the service provided. The ladies and gents who run the show in the shop are very courteous, attentive and very polite. They always have a smile on their faces and are happy to help and always go the extra mile for their customers. The food is something else - the Jam Roly Poly's, Cornflake Tarts & Bakewell Tarts are to die for, genuinely some of the very best i've had. They have a really old school, authentic type of taste that brings you back to school days. Their Pancake stacks are impeccable - lovely thick and fluffy american style Pancakes, drenched in whatever sauce you fancy and topped with whatever confectionary you can think of. Their cookie doughs are also incredibly good - soft, flavorful and perfectly baked. Their bubble waffles are faultless, they are cooked to perfection, light and airy and topped lavishly with sauce and chocolates. I cannot fault these guys whatsoever - sometimes deliveries might be late, on very rare occasions they might get an order wrong - at the end of the day, the staff at Holy Crepe are human beings who are fallible, they make mistakes (which are exceedingly rare and not common at all, might I add) - its their ability to deal with these rare mistakes which really makes them shine. Kudos to everyone who works at Holy Crepe - you're doing a brilliant job - and keeping my stomach full of lovely treats at the same time :)

Placed a scheduled order at 5 for 19.30 via Uber Eats. Almost 3 hours later still nothing. Rang twice, at both times was informed its out with the driver. Rang Uber Eats customer service who also tried to ring them. Fed back I recieved is that Holy Crepe was not aware of the order????? Something doesn't add up?! Irony is I don't live that far away from the place shouldn't take 3 hours to deliver. Will not be using this place!

Practically had half the menu and it's always good, delivery is always quick, best dessert place in Manchester by far!!!
