Nando's Milton Keynes - Xscape in Milton Keynes

This is the first Nando's restaurant we have been in. The food was quite good and especially the environment was so good and we went back again. Staff were polite as well👍👌.

The worst visit to a Nando’s ever. Waited for a seat for 20minutes, that wasn’t a problem. The problem came when ordering for my 4 year old son from the nandinos menu, the option on the menu is chicken in pitta, I asked if I could just have the chicken in a wrap plain, no salad no nothing, I was told “no”, I said I’ve have from other plenty of other Nando’s before and this has never been an issue. I said you guys do wraps right, she said yes, so I said why can’t you do my son a wrap with the same chicken, there’s no additional costs, in fact probably cheaper as I wanted it plain, I was then said “we don’t have to make substitutes for customers” (“wow”) . Obviously the manager don’t have children otherwise he might have understood. Anyways because I had waited so long I decided to place the order, as soon as the plate turned up my son was upset that his food was in a pitta.so thanks guys 👍 Disgusting customer service, try to be a little more understanding in future especially when a request is so simple.

Great experience and food was exceptional. Loved the bottomless drinks and the butterfly chicken burger was perfect - not the cheapest, but highly recommended.

I was at Milton - Xscape for some activities and decided to stop by at Nandos and this is my experience. On getting there was a waiting time for table because it was full, which was about 10mins and I made my order, to my surprise the order was quite fast than expected because it was full; it didn’t take up to 5mins before my order came. I had 1/2 chicken and 2 sides (chicken and salad) that cost £14, and it is a decent size (couldn’t finish my portion), the food also had some spice🌶️which I loveddd… it was definitely worth the wait and I will recommend.. good customer service, delicious food and nice environment.

Went to Nandos with my family including a 4 month year old. We was sitting and enjoying our meal, when a glass exploded on the table and shattered into piece's. It was very scary and could have caused some serious harm. When speaking to the staff they confirmed it happens due to the glass temp and it’s quite a normal thing to happen. When asking for a refund on our meal as we hadn’t finished it. He kept laughing and saying there is morning we can do apart from a voucher. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Why would we want to return with children when glasses explode on a regular basis? Please be mindful of this happening to you when eating at nandos. Won’t be going back

Amazing service. Easy parking. Excellent food

The service was good and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately the facilities need more care, especially the air vents. The place was filled with smoke due to vent failure affecting the visit. The food took longer than expected but was worth the wait.

Came in on Sunday, it was quite busy but we weren’t informed of any delays on food. Our starters came quickly but the mains then took another 35 minutes. Whilst waiting, the restaurant filled with smoke and was quite thick. Being 8 months pregnant, Dana noticed we’d been waiting a while and had already noticed how smoky the room was, she took it upon herself to come over and apologise. She chased up our mains and chased them until they were brought out. When there was still a bit of a wait, she sent the manager over who also apologised and explained that there was an extraction issue. Dana continued to make sure we were okay and made the experience worth the 5 stars! Dana is a credit to Nando’s Xscape!

Had a nice evening, food was nice and quick in service. Dona was so lovely and gave us another portion of chips because my portion was smaller. She was also so friendly and made the evening even more enjoyable. Forgive me I forget the other name of guy who served us originally but he was so lovely. Had the best experience at Nandos in the Xscape today. All of Nandos staff looked after all 22 of us, 18 of which have learning disabilities and Nandos staff were so interactive with everyone, kind to us all and kept coming to check everything was OK with our food and to see if we needed anything further. The food was of course amazing too as always. Big thank you to the manager (Karthi I believe?) for helping with everything and also big thank you to Dana who served us, she was very sweet :))

Great place for a quick bite, staff are on their toes here despite it being very busy they do deliver great service.

A great spot for your Nando’s fix. We were there on a busy Sunday afternoon, but they were able to get us a table quickly and even though there was a 30 minute wait on food, it arrived faster than we anticipated. Food as usual was delicious, you just can’t beat it for flavour, and I would highly recommend the Tomato Salad side dish, it’s really flavoursome. Staff were friendly and efficient, and overall, a great spot for a quick bite to eat.

Restaurant to eat well. First time and it won't be the last. I would put some beer on tap, not just soft drinks. The Kitchen is visible. Cool 😁👍🏼

Found the chicken to be extremely dry, I have previously liked Nando’s but every time I go there the chicken is dry. The other items on the plate were good and I would rate their customer service they are very fast.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but the taste remains the same, the service is good, and it’s always been a popular restaurant.

We expect loud music but this was awful deafening. Far too loud. The chicken was en par with all other nandos. Sorry we won't be returning.

The restaurant is not clean. Service is below average - it took 40 minutes on a quiet Sunday for 10 people to receive their food. In 2005 Nando’s may have been good, but there are so many better places to eat now. Consider the food, look at the sides, and really evaluate it - is it anything more than mediocre? Disappointing.

Second time during 2 weeks ordered from Nado's by Deliveroo and again received an incomplete order. So sorry guys but only 1 star going to you as this must be improved.

Dana was a trooper, keeping on top of the busy floor despite being on her own, and Tommy was more than attentive, making sure we were looked after and his customer skills are second to none

I just visited this Nandos restaurant and had a disappointing experience. The item I wanted to order was only available in a wrap, whereas it used to come in a pitta bread. I politely asked the staff if they could make an exception and change the bread type, as they have done in other Nandos restaurants I've visited. However, the staff member I spoke to declined my request, even though there were only two other customers in the restaurant at the time. I felt that the staff member was being unnecessarily difficult and not accommodating, which left me feeling dissatisfied with the service. As a result, I am unlikely to return to this particular Nandos restaurant in the future.

This joint is worldwide famous for Portugese flame grilled peri peri styled chicken. Its south african multinational owned. Must try if u love chicken. Unique sauces.

I am Deliveroo driver and despite the fact that restaurant doesn't have roof for drivers when is it rain, I have a good experience with waitress Dana , she is serving fast when arrive to pick up the orders, so no waiting a lot specially when is bad weather.

Gets very busy, they don't take bookings on weekends, but we got a table of 6 easy enough. food is ok in nandos if you want something quick, not my fave though.

Sadly the food felt rushed, 5he chicken skin was not well cooked and just lots of sauce poured over it. Has been better in the past

Great Nando's that is open till 10pm, unlike the centre:mk branch which is usually out of stock of most items by 7pm. You'll have to wait to be seated in busy times.

Walked up and shown to a table. Every member of staff was quietly going about their business. Food was lovely. Exactly as discribed. My only (slightly) negative comment was the booth seats had collapsed and were showing signs of age and high traffic. My bench had a couple of browm tape repairs that has clearly been there a while.

Definitely the best Nando’s I’ve had a while, chicken was perfectly cooked, sunset burger was on point, service was friendly and efficient considering it’s a Saturday. Not a massive fan of the new mac & cheese this isn’t the restaurants fault.

Food was good, had to ask for glasses as we waited awhile for them and then had to ask a couple of times for the ice cream they were busy tho.

Our whole experience was MADE by Dana. What a lovely soul going above and beyond for us. Helping with any query quickly and efficiently, ensuring us the best experience ever! No other server like her!

Booked at 7:45 got seated at 8:10.

We were seated at a table which is basically in the walkway and right by the dusty stairs - so unhygenic. This is a spot that shouldn’t have a table in it at all! At first I didn’t complain but then when a table became available as we hadn’t ordered our food yet I asked the waitress if we could move to the table they just cleared before another diner came in. She said no and then when I insisted she said we would have to go and ask her manager. He was hosting at the door so wasn’t about, I asked her to ask him as time was of the essence I didn’t want to lose the chance to change our table and I shouldn’t have to run around the restaurant getting permissing to move tables. She didn’t even attempt to ask him but lied about asking him and said she would prove it. He told me no one asked him before and that’s why it was now too late! The other people were seated and I was told it was too late. Anyway long story short I was shut down by both the waitress and the manager said there was nothing he could do either even though there were now other tables empty for ten minutes. I asked a young man behind the cash desk who swiftly cleaned a new table for us and we sat down. The manager (the host at the door) and the Eastern European woman refused to give me their names and the manager said it’s Valentine’s Day let’s not do this (!) the waitress is in the wrong job she has no customer service skills and the manager is apparently too busy to do anything for anyone other than the customers being put on the waiting list for a table. Appalling behaviour tonight I will go to another Nando’s in future! Finally got their names as the manager finally had time to talk to me! Too little too late! Dana is the rude disgraceful person who needs a different job and Richard is the manager who isn’t capable of managing the job.

I went with a few friends and ordered, the food was excellent and the service was very good - had people checking on us! Never had but loved. My only advice is to NOT soak your chicken wings in extra hot sauce... (May or may not have done...) Would have been nice to have given 5 and a half stars out of 5!!!

The food was nice. We were put " upstairs at a quiet table for 2 " we were told, however , 1 table was a table of 8 for a children's birthday. Out of the other 4 tables, 3 had children at them and parents were letting them run back and forth for ice and to top up their drinks so it was like an assault course going to the loo and back. ( I wish people took more responsibility and I wish staff could step in ), After 35 mins I asked where our starters were . The staff member said he would check. A manager came back and said he was really sorry, we had been charged, yes, we had a receipt but our order hadn't gone through the computer, he would personally put our order through now. Then, he came back and said he didn't know how we had managed to order broccoli because they didn't have any. When we did get our food it was good. The manager came to check on us, so did a staff member. The manager said not to leave until we had spoken to him. We asked for him when we were leaving He told us he would take our details and send them to Head office. And within 5 days we would have a voucher to apologise for what had gone wrong today. We haven't had that yet . The Manager was very nice though and apologetic The food here is good. There is generally a queue as it is popular

My chicken was a bit burned and everyone else said its a five star food. Best service was given by Leisa, she was very kind and helped us a lot as it was first time for us in this restaurant. Overall good.

We came today for dinner the service was very quick the food was delicious and staff was very polite

Where is the zero rating..Just had a terrible experience, we ordered food and had to wait for almost 58minutes, the waiter was rude saying they were bust yet other people came in after us were served as we waited. When the food was served it was the wrong order, the please were smelly like had overstayed,we had our friends who apparently came half an hour after us and were served smell the food to confirm it was rotten. My daughter has Autism and who doesn't pick she's quickly picked this. It was smelling like a rotten egg.. The manager handled the issue very badly. Unfortunately we had to leave an hour no food and bad treatment Now handling my daughter who is extremely upset and hungry.. Terrible and terrible experience and terribly upset.. Dear Nandos owner, it's not about next time because we will never go back there but do you realise the seriousness of serving food that has a foul smell and that has gone bad? Do you realise how much of our time that was wasted? Do you realise the mental and emotional damage this caused?

So...let's begin. Disgusting corporation with no respect for customers. We placed an order online for collection. Wings and chips. Nothing special. 30 minutes for prep. Ok. We go there and wait another 30 minutes. I ended up approaching an employee to find out what is happening because it didn't look busy at all. What was going on? Well... 3 young lads in the kitchen doing nothing. NOTHING! Going to the till and back to the grill with a piece of tongs in their hand. I watched them for the whole time being there. The whole 30 minutes! They behaved like their nanny punished them to be there. Hey Nando's, train your staff! Raise their hourly pay or send them home and get some decent workforce. I have been in the food industry for over 7 years now and I had never seen someone so disengaged and lethargic like them 3 fellas. Now I feel bad for not taking their names to let the world know who to call in case someone needs nobody to do nothing for them. Shout-out to the manager who was trying to step up and get things done. By herself. Food was decent. But then again...it was some wings. Pre-marinated and cooked on a child-safe grill. If you know how to breathe, you know how to cook it. See you next year Nando's! (Yeah...those wings taste like...Nando's. I'll still have some every now and then.)

I will never visit here again. I arrived at 19:50, I had a movie at 21:50 so I assumed I’d have enough time, well I was very wrong. I ordered on the app, my friend got hers in 15 minutes brilliant!! 45 minutes pass I have not received no food nothing so we have now 50 minutes until the movie , I ask a staff member where’s my food he said he will check and never returned, I could see my food sitting there under a heap lamp with the chef shouting at staff telling them to take the plate , I then received my food finally at 21:45! 5 mins before my movie is meant to start I asked to speak to a manager on which she told me she will offer me a 10% discount on my next visit! She was so rude and so careless she even said to me it’s not really my problem I told her my food is not Nice the mash had gone all hard ontop and she still sat there and said what do u want me to do??? I will never return and I hope no one wastes there money on such a place

Plenty of staff on shift. Lots of empty tables, Still left waiting and having to go to other tables to look for unused napkins and sauces as condements unreplenished as though its understaffed and busy when its neither

Lunchtime visit so it wasn't that busy and got food very promptly after ordering on the app. Although filled up a bit after a while and some noisier people sat near us it was still overall good. Loaded fries were 👌 Really wish they did bookings for busier times though.

Abdhul, our server for the night was extremely charismatic and welcoming, he ensured that our service was impeccable and our experience was amazing. It made for a truly incredible time.

It was my first time inside a nandos for a long time and I came with my grandmother who needs help with mobility, our server Abdul went above and beyond accommodating for her making sure she was alright and if she had any questions due to her struggling with English so he had me translate the menu and answered all her enquiries. The food was really good and the atmosphere makes me want to return back to this establishment. Thank you Abdul for the service making mine and my grandmothers day.

Let's start with food. Portion are getting smaller and smaller. For 5+ years we normally order same food-10 wings platter with 2 large sides. And I can see that wings are getting smaller. Sides are almost twice smaller to compare what was year ago. I understand that everything getting more expensive, but at the same time you get less when you pay more. Staff. People are waiting in the queue while I staff are just sitting in the corner and chatting with each other. Guys just don't care about their job, about business. And then hear complaint that they do not like their job.

Awful service, food standing by heat lamps over 5min and nobody taking it to the tables. Own cooks delivering food, waiters can’t be arsed and walk slow like wearing small shoes. Place is shambles

Was to busy to move table but we had to sit where there was a window and food was being collected by delivery drivers and there was always around 3-5 waiting all the time and just staring watching me eat my food very off putting and annoying. Should have blacked out windows and just the little window to pass the food rather then have aload of ppl watching you eat. Has put me off going to this Nandos

Called in today with family, first visit to Nandos, service slow, when food arrived OK but not brilliant. Partner enjoyed his burger. Visited the disabled toilet,definitely needs attention, loose seat , flush on toilet broken, bit dodgy if your disabled, whole room needs attention bearing in mind also baby changing room.

This nando's was not as busy as the one in centre MK. We were told it would be about 30 min wait, but actually, it was only about 5 mins. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our meals were nice.

We had a lovely relaxed meal here. The staff was friendly and asked if we were enjoying the meal. The meal looked and tasted excellent. We did not have to rush our meal which was great.

It's Nandos, they have servers who bring you the food after you order and pay for it. Why they can't do table service I have no idea. Food is good, but not as good as the expectation prior.

Was a very disappointing dinner. They delivered my 10 year old's order 30 minutes after everybody else's. She was crushed!!!! I had to sit there for half an hour because I didnt want her to be the only one just sitting there while everyone ate.

PLACES are no good if they dont open on time.
