Nice food, as per usual at Nandos, but a 25 minute wait is the longest I have experienced at any Nandos. I understand it was busy but this should have been better staffed.

The side portions are too little And take away we realized that on portion was missing but they had packed it for us we had to comeback for it

I recently visited this Nando's, and unfortunately, my experience didn't quite meet the expectations I had. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the lively atmosphere that Nando’s is known for, and the staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. However, I was taken aback by the service; it took 30 minutes from the time our order was taken until the food was served — the longest I’ve ever waited at any Nando's. What made this even more disappointing was that the restaurant was only about 1/5 occupied, yet it seemed that dine-in guests were not prioritized over takeaway delivery drivers. As someone who pays extra to sit in and enjoy the meal, it was frustrating to feel sidelined. When our food finally arrived, I found that it was below the usual standard I’ve come to expect from Nando's. Furthermore, the music in the restaurant was too loud, making it difficult to converse without raising our voices and adding to the overall chaos of the dining experience. In summary, while I appreciate the friendly service and the casual vibe of Nando's, this particular visit fell short of the high standards I associate with the brand. I hope to have a better experience on a future visit, but regrettably, I can only rate this outing as average due to the extended wait, subpar food quality, and the overwhelming noise level.

You can't fail at Nando's, 15 minute wait for a table, easy to order and get points on the app. The restaurant was busy but not overwhelmed, and it was still safe for older kids to get their own drinks and have some independence.

The chicken tastes bland and the ambience suits the music and the food they serve but the only downside is the food as the insides of the chicken is very raw.

Very accomodating to food allergies which was nice. Lovely food.

Great restaurant, my family ate here on Sunday 11th August and the member of staff called Luis (I think) made the whole experience a delight. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out of the way to make sure my 5 and 3 year had a brilliant time. Food was good but Luis is a real asset to your branch, thank you.

Went at 21.26 for dinner (says there are open to 10pm) but they turned us away.

All staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. It was a rainy Saturday at kids dinner time so I would expect lots of kids and a bit of noise. But it was really loud. The food was ok - only one of our orders was for mild seasoning but 2 had it. It wasn't too long to wait especially with how busy they were. We were a bit suprised by the price, but we had not been before and we ordered quite a bit more food than we needed. We will go again, probably try a quieter time of day and probably try some sharing platters to get the right amount of food.

Very disappointed with my visit to Nandos. Popped in our way home from a long flight so was extremely hungry. Arrived at Nandos and found it wasn't busy. We were told waiting time for a table was at least 45mins. So we decided to order a takeaway instead. No problem ordering took less than 5 minutes . However while waiting we counted the empty tables. 9 in total. We didn't say anything assumed these were precooked, waited patiently for out order which was supposed to be 30 mins. Several people came in... no bookings and were given tables right off. So what basis is this based on..? 🤔. Our food arrived 45 mins later and still mot complete. Person or manager wasn't fazed at all and looked like he couldn't be bothered. Very disappointed with the service.

Generally a nice Nando's with free car park out front, high ceilings, good natural light, and quick service. However, they were out of whole, 1/2, and 1/4 chicken on Friday at 6 when we visited (how?!) so deducted a star.

We went as a group of 4 people, sharing the plater is sufficient for all of us. We can also choose our dips and very easy

I am delighted to share my dining experience at Nando's Exeter (Marsh Barton) in December 2023. I often eat at Nando’s restaurants but what made me leave a review on this particular occasion was primarily due to the wand an unparalleled customer service provided by the restaurant’s manager. It was evident that the manager takes great pride in his work, ensuring that each table received the attention and care they deserved, and this passion translates into a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout this restaurant by the whole team which immediately set the tone for the rest of the evening. I was about to go on a 2 hours driving journey after this late dinner. I ordered two coffees at the end of the meal, however the coffee machine was broken. The manager went out his way and has manually prepared a delicious coffee to both my wife and I. His swift resolution not only rectified the issue but also showcased his commitment to ensuring that each guest leaves Nando's with nothing less than a memorable experience. The manager, when faced with a minor issue during my meal, demonstrated remarkable sense of professionalism and dedication to ensuring the utmost satisfaction of his customers. Great service, great experience!

First time dining at a Nandos, got seated immediately upon entrance, after spending awhile deciding on our food we finally choose our order and received it promptly, the food was warm, tasty and fresh we also had a lovely man check how our food was and overall the staff is welcoming and relaxed.

Excellent service, didn't have the SA cider so I got 2 bottles of beer!

Visited today for lunch. Food was delicious and arrived in around half an hour, as they predicted when we arrived. The restaurant was busy but the staff were really attentive. Looking forward to going back.

We went here for the first time as we are new to Exeter. Walked in, got a seat straight away brilliant. Went and ordered got food about 15 minutes brilliant. No check back. Also, when we left, not one person said good night. Was not really happy with the service. Will go again, hopefully smiles and hello. Next time

Over priced,dry chicken, undercooked corn,small portions for a large out lay. Nandos used to be worthy of a treat night but no longer. Seemed like it's just a place to advertise their own sauces.Loaded fries and bottomless drinks are the only plus about the place. Will not be returning

Always used to come in to eat but I think there has been a change of staff and manager and it’s really gone downhill. A couple of girls that work there were so rude! So stopped eating in. Anytime I collect the order it’s always wrong. The food is always great but shame about some of the staff as they can’t be bothered or get annoyed if you ask them something..

The staff here are so good, really polite and helpful. Only four stars as I think it's a bit expensive on the hole and not a good selection of beers.

Always loved this place. Big space, lovely music, yummy simple food. Let down by really poor service from the get go . It used to be so much better, which made it different from the normal (poor) service in the UK. Grumpy unfriendly welcome, 'no can do' attitude . Then , after placing an order was rudely told "it will be 30 mins at least for orders". I asked why don't you tell customers before they place an order?! Also, it is fast food .really! Shouldn't take SO long. Also , all restaurants listen up: children /baby orders should ALWAYS be made a priority, especially when your customers request it specifically. So no, I do not accept my children's food to come out later! Another let down- their frozen yogurt machine has been out of order since forever. DO BETTER!

Collected an order, got home to see it was missing a side. After calling them, all what was offered was going back to the restaurant to collect this which was just not feasible. They offered a 'refund,' however this was just on the missing side. This is not a reflection of the staff member on the phone who was as helpful as she could be, however the policy of only refunding on the missing item does not seem like great customer service given the inconvenience.

I wish I could give six stars for the service. We were told there would be a 30 min wait for a table, but it ended up being 3 mins (which was no problem) and then we ordered our food but was told there would be a 28min wait for the chicken as it's all cooked fresh - this was fine for us but we wanted to grab some starters to tie us over and the staff who helped us gave them to us for free of charge for the trouble (there was no trouble!!) Incredibly kind and thoughtful team even when low on FOH staff and hosting a birthday party. 10/10 nandos

Absolutely bloody freezing sat at table 2 as the staff and guests opened the outside door 9 times during our meal ! Tried the fully loaded chips and nearly chocked on a bone 😳 Very disappointed with my visit this time .

We had some minor issues with our order and Dave sorted them out very quickly. Service was very good, staff very friendly and it was a reminder of how much we get shafted on our portions at the Reigate branch!

Tons of empty tables but they still let money walk out the door on a Friday there is no competition for you so sort out your staffing

Either hit or miss, chickens always fine, but sides are either cremated or perfect & the frozen yoghurt machine just like McDonalds ice cream is broken or can’t be bothered to fix a good portion of the time.. Service from most if not all the waiting staff is good as you would hope.

Visited on Monday only to stand and wait at the door for almost 10 minutes before a member of staff appeared to greet us. We were then told it would be a 25minute wait to be seated even though whilst standing there we spotted lots of empty tables that we could have sat on. We ended up giving up and going elsewhere.

Food was Nando's so you know it was good, service was slower than expected though and the drinks fountain was broken so there was no bottomless soda only overpriced cans of pop.

Lovely meal out tried the thighs with my favourite lemon and hurb with the garlic bread very nice Really liked that the manager took the order as a member of the party was gluten free who also really enjoyed there meal

We stopped here on a Friday evening. The restaurant was, at a guess, 25% full. We were told by a friendly but obviously baffled waiter that they were unable to seat customers for the next 30 minutes as the kitchen was flooded with deliveroo orders. What fresh hell have we created for ourselves

Had our first visit to Nandos Marsh Barton for dinner. We had a short wait to be seated, but the staff explained and they were accurate with their time estimate. Food was very good & superbly tasty, The Macho peas are my new favourite. I dropped a star because your sweetcorn wasn't warm enough to melt the butter but it was still good. I dropped a star from atmosphere because the restaurant was a little chilly. Overall result was a great dinner, thank you Nandos

They didn't put any sauces on chicken or in a bag

Nandos.nothing more to say except yum yum yum yum. Was halfway through my meal of chicken wings and grains when I remembered to take a pic. I think of the two this Nandos (Marsh Barton) is better than Princess Hay in Exeter

One thing. Taking to account that mobile signal in metal buildings can be poor, working wifi but with no interner do not help on order from table. Except that you are a great place to eat. No waiting time for table and parking making your place really good. Visited on Sunday at about 3pm.

Visited Nandos in Marsh Barton Exeter and was greeted by a man called Dave, it was about 15 minute wait he explained through everything and we waited inside until he called us. He then seated us to our table and we asked him a question about something on the menu but they couldn't do that which was fine it wasn't a problem he then said he would give us discount which we wasn't expecting and didn't need to do that. He was very friendly and polite and catered to our needs as we had a 2 month old baby with us. He then kept checking to see if everything was OK.

Brilliant place to eat and take out aswell! Really clean and tidy and plenty of tables, its a big one

Very good the last two times I have gone recently with friends. The platters are great to share. The rewards app was brilliant to gain chillies for the next visit. Very good service, checking our food was ok. Very good at asking what we needed for children like extra seats, highchairs and coloring. We didn't have to wait long on a busy Friday at the end of December to be served our large order. The manager said goodbye and wished us a happy new year l. Will definitely be going again this month! Thankyou very much
