Nando's - Covent Garden in City of London, Westminster

My first time trying nandos! Did not disappoint. Cant believe how tender chicken breast can be.

We went to London for the weekend and they told us we had to go to this Portuguese restaurant that is super mega good! And the truth be told, the food is really good and the wait time was 40 minutes but we only waited 15 minutes to get a table. As for the service, I liked the people who work there, they are super friendly but the internet didn't work and there was no network inside the restaurant and to order food you had to use a QR code so you needed internet but I didn't have it, so I had to go to the counter and order there, which wasn't complicated. But the food was top notch and everything was in order!

Food was good but they were out of butterfly chicken so many dished were out of stock and they made us wait 30 minutes and did not let us know they were out of chicken

We were in a hurry and fancied something different and tasty. This definitely delivered. Food was hot and fresh. Service was friendly and efficient.

Nandos never let you down with their tasty chicken and delicious rice and salads. This one wasn't the exception. However, I can't see why the waiting if the restaurant wasn't full and had plenty of empty tables? I guess it could probably be because of the low staffing.

Ordered a whole chicken and received 3 chicken legs and a breast piece. Was on the train so hardly going to return to the restaurant. Customer service didn’t care either when I’d complained. Avoid this branch!!!

The grilled chicken is very good and the sauces 😋 very delicious

We were here for dinner. We had two burgers, a few appetizers and a few sides. Unfortunately, the pitas are pretty dry and if you're unlucky, sometimes the chicken is too. If you're not into meat, the store isn't the best choice. P.S.: The soft drink and ice cream flat rates are TOP!

We arrived a little late for their opening time but they served us anyway... the portions are very generous and the food is very good

A girl from the crew recommended me to try the Sunset Burger, there couldn't have been a better choice! It introduced me to one of my all-time favorite sandwiches, try it! Welcoming place with plenty of seating, it's a shame that near the staircase some wind comes from the door on the upper floor, but it's not a big problem

Food was tasty as it always is, place as such is nice but the whole experience was ruined by how cold it was inside. Have to pop in again in the summer I guess 😊

The food was fine for what it is. Strange that WiFi was not working and because the seating is in the basement internet was very bad. You could not really order online as was designed so you had to order at the counter. Extremely loud.

Beauty nandos to enjoy a meal in an underground restaurant in central london look nice on these sites if you are in the area, and you have never tried nandos. These are good sites to do it wings are always amaithing soft.

My imaginary girlfriend was constantly nagging me as apparently we never go out anymore unless it's to go to the Plumb Centre, Betfred or Homebase. She wanted a bit of romance and the opportunity to get dressed up. So I took on board her imaginary criticism and took her to potentially her favourite vegetarian restaurant. Watching her gorge on the bird made me realise I just wasn't in the right place emotionally for a pretend girlfriend and I got my coat.

Lovely place, the vibe was great the music food and service made it all the better I would definitely come here again.

Food was good as always. We were a party of 8 and they kept us waiting like 15 min even though there were tables available. Also service was kind of slow. Our drinks and glasses were delivered a while after food received.

Absolute divine dining and such comfortable seats. The food is luxurious and filling but once they gave me a really chilli burger when I asked for no spice!!! Disgraceful. Nethertheless I loved it and will definitely be going more than a 100 times in a day

Los baños inutilizados durante los dos días que pasamos por ahí. Por el resto la experiencia está bien y la comida es de la misma calidad que el resto de la cadena (muy recomendable el garlic bread)

The bathrooms were unused during the two days we were there. For the rest, the experience is good and the food is of the same quality as the rest of the chain (the garlic bread is highly recommended)

Le menu est assez varié meme si c'est a base de poulet. Nous n'avons pas pu tester le dessert car ils n'avaient plus de pasteis de nata... dommage je recommande

Great chicken wings and regular prices for London. You may have to wait some minutes for seats at launch time. Regular portions (especially sides) are really abundant.

It was an enjoyable dinner. You place your order either over the phone or at the cash register. If you wait for the waiter to take your order from the table, you will have to wait a while 😊

if you like spicy come here!!!! a place that serves acceptable food all in all, the sauces are horrible, but the soft drinks are unlimited and also the ice cream.

The staff is very friendly and understanding, the place is very clean and cool, enough space for bags and jackets, delicious food!

Really disappointed with the customer service. The young man upstairs was very rude and aggressively unhappy with me asking where the bathroom was. Maybe he is new to the job or having a bad day but really weird vibes ! We ended up walking to another Nando’s along the road where we were treated 1 million times better. Honestly just take my word and go to another Nandos!

Very busy, the staff were very good. They informed me of the wait time and were very friendly. Table was ready faster than expected and food came quickly too. Very good service, nice food.

Not great experience l am sorry to say. I had to order at the counter but the guy taking the order forgot to ask if wanted thigh or chicken breast, l got thigh. I really didn’t enjoy my meal finding the thigh too greasy and didn’t realise l had not got what l wanted until after! We had been to a stressful medical appointment with my daughter so we’re a bit frazzled. I felt the customer service was poor because no one asked if we were enjoying our meal they just kept on removing things from the table as if they wanted us to leave. I know l should have spotted the order thing but we are the customers, l should have been reminded at the point of ordering. Sorry Nando’s you guys weren’t at your best for us that day. As l am unable to reply to your ‘owner’ comment to my review l’ve added the following. …your response to my review is also very poor’ l wasn’t complaining about the speed of service but the quality of service. You need to read what’s written. Your response has made me even more ‘cheesed off’. You can’t even apologise properly, just like the service in your restaurant the day we were there, your customer service is very poor indeed.

I’ve been a loyal Nando’s customer at various locations, but unfortunately, this particular visit was quite disappointing. We waited nearly an hour after placing our order. When our food finally arrived, much of it was cold, which was really frustrating. While I’ve consistently enjoyed the service and quality at other Nando’s locations, I was very disappointed at this specific place and this experience fell short of expectations. I hope the management can address these issues to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Esperamos a estar sentados durante unos 10 minutos, que estaba bien. Luego nos sentamos en un área cerca de los puntos de labranza y al final de las escaleras. La zona está abarrotada y se siente un poco separada de la zona de comedor principal. La comida se servía fría, a mi marido se le servía la suya y él había terminado la suya antes de que llegara la mía. Normalmente me encanta Nando’s, pero no volvería al restaurante de nuevo.

This place was really amazing. The chicken was delicious and I especially loved the bottomless soft swirl ice cream. (Although I did get brain-freeze.) Their egg tarts were probably the best I’ve eaten in my entire life. They are a must order when you go there.

Their food is not halal. You can go to Nando's Baker Street branch. Their chicken is halal, according to what the employees say.

I normally LOVE NANDOS and go very often. But this brunch at Convent Garden was HORROR. most staff not helpful or friendly, and the worse was: the TOILETTE sooooo dirty that the smell was mixed with the food and it was just a disgusting experience.

I love Nando’s with all my heart. Lived in Dublin for some time. But this one had horrible service all around and was confusing as all ever and the staff could care less. Super sad since I’m coming from the states to enjoy Nando’s.

Lovely place, it's our usual go to when going to the ballet. The food is delicious and brings us a bit of Portugal away from home. The only downside is the music is always too loud.

La comida era muy deliciosa, especialmente el pollo a la parrilla que era suave y justo. Sin duda volveré de nuevo.

Went in for a quick brunch, was welcomed at the entrance by a young sweet girl wished I remembered her name…..got a full platter which tasted good but the main entrance wasn’t accessible for my baby Pram….

Waited 10 mins for a single person table. Walked downstairs when they asked me to follow them to a table. The entire restaurant was empty! Not sure what the wait was about. Service extremely slow!

Wifi not working, no internet connection in the restaurant and they push you to order through a QR code which is impossible due to what mentioned above. Then you go to order at the till and you find a long queue with a single employee taking orders. Also, soft drinks not available because they were warm and no ice available? I ll never come back.

I can't speak English, but the friendly staff helped me out. The food was delicious. I learned how to order at this restaurant, so I'd like to visit again if I have the chance.

None of the staff know what they're doing. Customer service is trash. Was told to wait on arrival only to go downstairs and see the place was half empty... Food took forever and arrived cold??? The WiFi doesn't work. Throw the whole branch away staff included.

Classic Nando’s so not much to say. Food was good. It was a bit weird because upon arrival we were asked to wait and we thought there were no tables available. However, when we were taken to our table, the place was quite empty… The internet downstairs (where the dining room is) was not working so it was almost impossible to order online. We had to go to the counter.

Food that turned up was not what we ordered. Could not find any waiter to ask for help. Desert didn’t turn up and we left. No one said anything to us apart from person at the door when we arrived. Not great. Never again.

Nando's is generally a good spot for a meal, but my experience was a bit mixed. Some of the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, which really added to the overall atmosphere. However, a few others weren't as friendly, which was a bit of a letdown. Additionally, the tables could be cleaned a bit quicker, as I noticed a few that remained dirty for a while after customers had left. Despite these minor issues, the food was great as always, and I'll definitely be back.

The spicy rice bowl with chicken breast was ordered, and while the dish was flavorful, the portion size was rather small for my liking. A generous serving of the spicy rice and chicken would have made it a more satisfying meal.

Always aim to try Nando's in countries I visit if the franchise is available. Really expected more from a food aspect. This was the first time I didn't enjoy the food, well part of it. I ordered a burger and fries. The fries were amazing! The burger, not so much. The sauce didn't take like the traditional Nando's basting ans had more of a vinegar taste to it. The chicken breast was dry and cold. The roll was so hard that I ended up not eating it. It looked like a Portuguese roll, but felt more like sourdough bread. I couldn't cut it easily with a knife let alone bite into it.

Excellent place!! We were lucky to have Sonia attend to us (who speaks perfect Spanish), she helped us choose the menu and was always attentive to whether we were okay!! Employees like this make a difference!! The food 10 points I would return 100 times and I highly recommend it

There's a lift for access needs, and a ramp for outside- the staff members we came across were accommodating. Wasn't especially busy when we went but needs a couple reminders to fill up cutlery

Spectacular experience. We were a group of 8 and despite having to wait for a table, it was totally worth it. They put us at one of the private tables at 8. The waiter was very friendly. Spectacular food. We were all speechless. The chicken well done and with different sauces. Spicy is not for everyone's tastes, but if you love spicy I assure you that you will like it. Without a doubt the place is very good. To repeat. Highly recommended. And affordable prices for London.

Although it’s in the middle of London therefore full of tourist and very busy, I must say that we found a very good service. Very nice and welcoming, available to any change for our kids since they don’t eat spiny food and even their plain chicken it’s slightly spicy. Thanks for the support.

Great welcome, the restaurant is really very pretty, real comfort, the room is well air-conditioned for the summer, the toilets are clean, the staff is very professional, the dishes are delivered quickly and the taste is succulent! I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was my first time going to a Nando's and I have to say it certainly lives up to the hype! I ordered a Butterfly Burger and Fino Pita and both were delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The portions were decent and the unlimited soft serve was certainly a nice thing to have. The service was courteous albeit a tad slow. Overall, I would definitely come back!
