Extremely tasty food. Great value for money.

I thoroughly enjoyed my takeout from this restaurant. I ordered the fried rice and assorted meat with fried plantain. I personally think this place rivals the bigger restaurants. It’s not smothered in unbearable pepper and was seasoned and cooked well. I will definitely be coming again. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere as the seating area could do with some reno and cleaning. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would have posted some pictures of my food but I ate it up so quickly!

Ordered okra and it didn’t taste well at all. It also looked watered down. It wasn’t grated properly and the vegetables in it were more like whole leaves. Haba. I ordered because I wanted the taste and feel of a restaurant but honestly, I could have done better than that from my kitchen. Total waste of money

Ordered an okra soup with chicken... it was probably the best okra soup i have ever tasted. Not too spicy and very flavoursome. Compliments to the chef HOWEVER I did have traces of fish bones in the soup. For someone who does not eat fish It annoyed me a bit but please be mindful for non seafood loves

I really did not like it all at food rubbish everything about that place was very annoying this to be is my last time and I've learnt my lesson sorry I give to them a star mistake supposed to be 00000 in every thing and £15 for a okra soup that was any insult never never again ..

Food is very nice especially jollof rice and hard chicken very tasty and recommended my sibling to go there and they also loved it. Prices are very reasonable and customer service is acceptable.

It's more or less a take away with a few tables. The food is good but varies by dishes. Jellof rice' fish stew and Moi moi are excellent. Egusi is varies with the cook. Prices are reasonable for North London. Typical takeaway for 4 people will set you back 45 pounds

Less food in containers but good service

The worst food I have ever tried, the food was load with water like it had been frozen and defrosted in a microwave the food came to me cold and watery 🤮

Consistent quality on their food

Food is fine. Not much taste to it due to lack of salt. The prices change with the wind every time you walk in there and order the same thing...one day rice, small dodo and 2 shaki £5.. next week £8.. ask for salt it's a problem ...you have to hold your ground to even get salt!! Customer service could do with improvement and she could use less oil in the food to start

Very bad experience of customer service. I live far away from the restaurant. I have been buying food for more than one year and yesterday I ordered my usual order but when I arrived home it tasted so bad, there was no flavour and I called the restaurant immediately to tell them that I believe they have a new cook because the food was very bad and not edible. Theu said that there is a new cook and apologised for the poor food. I told them that I would return the food the following day for a refund they said they would get the owner to cook me another batch that I could collect the next day. I said that because I live far away I would like to ask for my petrol to be returned because I do not think that it is fair that I should have to travel back and forth at my own expense. When I arrived the next day I was given a new batch of food but the owner refused to give me my petrol. I think this was extremely unreasonable and I said that I would update my experience online.

The food is bad and not fresh, okra soup tested so bad full of oil and restless, associated meat , they only put two meat, never to buy food there again

Very bad customers service, I called and place an order, got there and she told me I thought u won't be coming so I sold it to someone. Good customer service will call back to find out if am still coming, I took an Uber only to be told my food was sold to someone else. Previous food was so bad n tasteless. Maybe that should have stopped me from buying from them. I won't be going there or recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed. The reason for the one star is because I can't find a zero star.

The food is not tasty at all. i bought jollof rice and ayamase. I could hardly see the meat and chicken(boney chicken). Kept going to the toilet after eating. So disappointing. I spend 86 pounds for nothing. Will never buy anything from them again. very disappointing

I ordered 10 moimoi, 5 meatpies, 2 yam pottage, 1 bowl of plantain and one edikikang. The edikikang was frozen when defrosted not one piece of meat was in it. I called and manager was extremely rude. She took my number hasn't given a refund or replaced edikikang, days gone now. No atom of customer service. Ridiculous

The food is not fresh the meat pie was dry and the meat in stew was like a rock. The lady at the counter is rude and I wouldnt visit again. The people who give 4 star reviews must be friends or family bc I dont see how the food, service or environment is 4 star. Look at their food hygiene rating online. That tells u everything and thats from 2019 so in my opinion they have got worse.

Pay close attention to the most recent review of this place and beware. Food quality is awful. Charge you differently to what is listed on menu and don't fill containers fully ... fill only about halfway yet charge you for that size container. I would not recommend this place at all. Strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

The food is trash u can tell its just kept in the fridge and reheated. Poor quality. Staff rude and unfriendly, especially the young guy and the female owner - she is the Worst. Environment looks 3rd world. So dirty and unkept.

I would give them zero if i could. Food gave me food poisoning. Its mainly takeway but the interior is so bad and falling apart. First and last time. Staff have sour faces and are so indifferent. How do they stay in business?

Evertime I've gone to get a takeway these people try to humiliate me. Today I found out the reason. As for me, I have no problen with their food usually and I wish them success especially during this hard time of Corona Virus. Positive vibes all round from me to the workers and owners *blessed*

Surprised to see good Nigerian food, taste very authentic. We went as a family, to this take away for the first time, looking for some authentic Nigerian dishes. We wanted a different experience because of Lockdown. We ordered Joll of Rice, Afang, Edikangkong and Yam Pottage. When we got home we eat, and the food was delicious and reminded us of back home. Wonderful experience. thank you Lekki Kitchen. We will go again.

Food quality and portion size used to be good. My last two orders have been rubbish, watered down okro soup and ogbono. Ordered four portions of amala and ogbono soup, i received two full bowls of soup and the other two bowls where half full. Called the resturant to let them know. Ordered two portions of okro and amala the following week, received one full bowl of soup and the second bowl was only half.

Would not recommend. Food quality and portions used to be good but not any more. My last two orders the food tasted stale, i ordered four different soups, they put two normal sized portions on top of the delivery bag, the two bowls at the bottom was half a portion.

Dining at Lekki’s is an absolute MUST. I had a lovely dinner here last night with my dad and uncle. The food was *out of this world* and the service was warm and friendly. Generous portion sizes, made with so much love. I’m definitely coming back. Thanks for a great evening Lawrence!!

Their food is good. Affordable. They need to update their menu cos every item is +£1/2. Really like their designer stew & ayamase. Had a plantain & stew dish there - not impressed sadly. Everything else has been pretty good

One portion was enough for two; the chicken was the tastiest I've had in a very long time. very disappointing! Their food is not fresh! It's very obvious their food is sitting stale in plastic containers in a freezer. When confronted about their stale food they are defensive with no pride in quality or customer service.

The food here can be lovely. The big problem is that it is inconsistent. There is nothing more frustrating than a food business not focusing on what works and being consistent. The okra soup was delightful, beautifully seasoned and delicious. The jollof rice on one occasion was simply delicious, then another time, it was tasteless and dry. This is true of most dishes, sometimes you get a first class experience other times, it's like left- overs served with little regard for customers. It's a pity as sometimes you want good food and want to support local takeaways.

Provided food for my grandma's birthday. The fish, jollof and fried rice were ace. The chicken didn't have the sauce right through. Otherwise I would have given a 5.

The food is not fresh. It's a great pity as the menu has some nice home dishes that you might fancy if you need a takeaway but after 3 attempts to see if the quality that was lacking is just a rare off day. I think it's now clear that quality food is not something this takeaway is aiming for. The lack of seasoning, the food that is clearly re warmed from frozen and the indifferent presentation all mark this place down. The irony is it's located in a place where getting good fresh ingredients should be very easy. I don't think the cooks are competent or they lack care as my other half when pushed will eat here and I think they rely on this market.

The food lacked spices. The palm oil is never properly cooked for any of the dishes served.

I found this small restaurant by chance in Burnt Oak. It is almost opposite the station. They are good for Nigerian meals. They serve virtually all the popular meals; ero riro, efo egusi, edin kainkong, afang, peppersoup, jollof rice, fried rice, dodo etc.... I ordered their jollof rice, beef and dodo a couple of times. The service was fine but i picked up my meal each time. I'm sure that they do home delivery. You can also sit down and eat if you wish. It was also well priced. Everything i ordered each time was under £18 Their pepper soup was very tasty. I recommend this restaurant.
