¡No puedo esperar a regresar!

I took a friend to the branch in Liverpool street last night and I ordered OX Tail stew, but when this dish was delivered they had scraped it from the bottom of the pot and gave me burnt bottom pot stew on my lovely rice. The owner sat where customers should be seated and blew her own trumpet whilst moaning about other people lie Kofi and Kojo. I made small convo about a promo someone did with her brand and supermalt and her attitude was just disgusting. I shall not be going back and spending my good money or poor hosts and poor burnt food.

My girlfriend and I were looking for something to eat and didn't want to end up in one of the many chains, and just as we were leaving the 02 centre we had a look at the menu. The lovely guy working there let us sample the food first and after one mouthful we were hooked. I had the beef stew and my girlfriend the chicken and peanut soup. Both were delicious, freshly cooked, and despite ordering small size portions, the quantity was huge! If you can't handle spicy food then be careful with what you order, we were both sweating slightly but it was worth it. Two meals and drinks came to £15, service was excellent and we ate at the counter. Can't wait to go back!

Amazingly fresh, tasty and authentic food with tons of Veggie options. Great team, brimming with enthusiasm and warmth. The peanut soup is great winner so is the spinach stew. The spice levels are serious enough to leave me with sweaty brows. But that is how great tasting food sometimes needs to be. Love it.

Scores top marks on all counts. Home-cooked food (and it is made on the premises by the people serving you), by people who take pride in what they do, prepare it with love and serve with enthusiasm. The servings are generous, the flavours of West Africa so delicious and ingredients are quality, all very well priced. I know my food and this cafe is really hard to fault. I can't say how authentic it is given I've never eaten Ghanaian food before but the African customers there seem to indicate this is the real deal. The only improvement could be some fresh salads or vegetables but they may not form a staple of cooking in Ghana (e.g. as in Indian cooking) and so I bring my own greens and eat it with their food in the cafe - the staff are totally cool with that. They are very keen to ensure you are happy and and are so passionate. This is a unique venue in London where everything is now just a boring imitation of each other (Eat, Pret, Costa, yawn). It deserves to do well.

My cousin and I were looking for some non-overpriced and still delicious food around Liverpool Street Station and stumbled upon this place. What can I say, we both loved the food. We had a rice dish with spinach - pretty simple actually. The portions were quite big, and we thought there's no way we could finish them, but then the food was so nice we were almost tempted to get more. Also, I'm a vegan and they were easily able to cater for that. Would totally recommend!

Oh no.....Wasabi is closed.....no fix of generic spicy stodge - what am I to do??Well...how delighted I was to find this gem so close to Liverpool Street Station! After a couple of sample, I decided on a wonderfully rich Ghanaian beef stew - clearly made from quality ingredients and prepared with some skill and heart too. The beef was perfectly stewed, the sauce not runny but oozing flavour with a great balance of spices to boot. The rice was similarly as lip-smacking; spicy, yes but that kind of spice that quickly mellows to a nice lip-tingle - an ample sufficiency....mmmm.The staff were a joy; despite the card machine not working and the lovely girl dropping my card in the serving pot, she and the the smiling chap behind the counter managed to turn what could have been a disaster into a giggly experience so far departed from the miserable mundanity of Liverpool Street that it'll certainly have me running back for more - great food, great service!Well done Chop-Pot!

Walked past the Liverpool St branch last night and was tempted in with the offer of free tasters. After trying a couple of things I walked to my train a few minutes later with a large pot of spicy oxtail and rice, plus some plantain and bread sides. The bread was fine, but nothing special, the plantain was tasty, but the oxtail was fabulous - and very spicy as was promised. Very friendly, happy and chatty service - which doesn't happen often at fast food places in London. I'll be back to try something else next time I'm passing and hungry.

I had a free tasting of different meals and chos ethe lamb stew. The tast was very good and the rice served with it was perfect. To make it better I would have loved to have some green stuff (even though not from Ghana) added to it. Some herbs, oinions, parsley or just rocket salad or cucumber. The fork and spoon which the friendly staff handed me over were made from regular plastic and I would prefer them to be from biodegradable materials. Higly recommended for good taste and good service!

I've been working in the area on a project for a few months and yesterday popped in here for some takeaway lunch. I wasn't sure what to expect as I've never eaten Ghanaian food before.Chicken stew and Jollif rice was excellent. Big portions of both with lots of chicken in a thick spicy sauce. At the limit of my food heat tolerance, (I have a low tolerance), but really great flavours.I liked it so much that I went back for tea as I was working late and had the spinach and rice. Again, great flavours. There had been a shift change between my two visits so different staff but both sets were very good being friendly and attentive. This is an easy place to walk past but is definitely worth a visit for wholesome, flavourful food. I'm going back next week to try the beans and plantain dumpling!

I really enjoyed the spicy peanut and chicken soup. It is clear the owner takes great pride in the quality of the soup as they really were very delicious! The shop is decorated nicely and very clean and bright. My only slight criticism is that they are a little expensive compared to other soup places (£4.95 for a small) but I suppose this is central London! Great place to grab a tasty lunch on the go.

This is more of a quick stop on or off the Liverpool Station entrance, and I was lucky enough to find it one night while I was looking about and was ready to head to my home (away from home) LOVED the spicy peanut chicken soup, and I think of it often now that I'm back in California! This is not a restaurant but a food bar offering some wonderfullly spiced Ghanaian stews and soups. We were offered some tasters and were pleasantly suprised. I think this would be too spicy for most young children used to Western cuisine, but my husband and I immediately said we would buy lunch from here next time we are in the area - particularly as the food was reasonably priced. The bar has apparently been in the O2 centre for a couple of years, but I had never noticed it before. (The lady running the bar told me it used to be in a less prominent location.) This is would definitely be a better option than a sandwich from Waitrose nearby if you are just coming out of or going into one of the stations nearby. Yes, you will spend a couple of pounds more, but at least it is a break from the monotony of bread at lunchtime! The downside is that if you want to have a rest while you eat, there isn't really anywhere to sit and eat it inside the centre unless you squat down on the floor. I suppose you could take it upstairs to the cinema reception area if you are planning on watching a film or sit on the steps of the O2 centre if you aren't wearing white and the weather is nice!Chop Pot is a brand name that sells rice and soup "pots" and their website states that they are sold in Selfridges food hall. The products are low calorie and gluten free (but they certainly don't taste as though you are giving up anything to my mind.)

South African inspired menu, filling and leftovers can be wrapped in foil to bring home. I had the burger, cheese and bacon were extra. Tasty, but bacon a bit overcooked for my liking. Drinks were good and it's a nice quiet location (north bank of Thames, close to Millennium Bridge).

Alibaba An authentic Egyptian restaurant, cooked by an Egyptian family consisting of a father and mother. The place is far from Al-Agward Street and close to Ringgit Park. I had dinner there, the shop was empty and quiet. Suitable for lovers of quiet restaurants and suitable for conservative families due to the small number of people, and it is worth the trip Menu in pictures A simple menu that includes the most important popular dishes The employees are kind and respectful. The food is delicious and clearly home cooking for a delicious Egyptian meal 😋. Prices are affordable and cheaper than other Alagaward Road restaurants. Thank you to the honorable sister who received us, served food, and finally took a family photo of our last dinner before we traveled back. It will be on my list of restaurants when I visit London

The restaurant is next door to the Rubens at the Palace which is where we were staying. The food is very good and the maitre'd Ian is the best. He's friendly outgoing and attentive to all his customers. We enjoyed him as much as we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was busy but not over crowded. Definitely a good spot for a meal.
