Nando's Canary Wharf - Jubilee Place in Tower Hamlets

Excellent place to dine and shop, the best chicken restaurant ever. This branch is not “Halal” if you fussy about this, but the nearby one is. Staff are friendly, polite, and service is quick. I gave 4 starts because the sauce bottles are not cleaned prior putting them on the shelf, otherwise,I would have given 5* It is a child friendly place.Kids will love it. I am a regular Nando’s customer.

My order of garlic cheese pitta ( which came in a take away box ) was passable.

We dined today and were served by Leticia. She was very warm and inviting and happy to help with any enquiries. 10/10 service.

Good place. Wonderful staff. For me as a vegetarian, I struggled with the obviously mainly chicken menu, but there are a couple of appetizers which worked.

We had bad experiences at this place . We always love Nando’s. We go to Nando’s every week. the chicken wasn’t cooked well . When we talked to the first staff , he wasn’t very helpful and he didn’t willing to help as well . The chips and other sides were all cold .we definitely didn’t enjoy the food . We wouldn’t come to this place again . The Nando’s is doing much better quality food at Cabot place .

I wanted to change a table and the young male waiter called ‘Kawsar’ got rude to me giving me attitude, this branch was the worst customer service full of very rude staff who have no understanding of good hospitality.

Quick and tasty but I got a double portion(for 2) of sweet potato fries as takeaway together with a whole chicken and the sweet potato was less than one portion. I found that out when I was already back home. Always look what is in the box before you leave the place. Other than that it was a good experience.

I always loved Nando's and I always will (speaking as a former Nando's employee), but this particular one really struck me. The ordering QR code didn't even work, the garçonete was so rude when we asked for help and when we eventually ordered on the balcony the man was questioning our choices and I mean, I get what he was doing but it was a bit annoying. Furthermore, the atmosphere is very industrial and not the typical Nando's vibe... This is just tarnishing everything and it makes me feel sad...

Decent experience at Nando’s! We tried the 10 extra spicy chicken wings, a rice bowl, regular fries, and peri-peri fries. The wings were flavorful with a good kick, and the sides were well-prepared. Service was polite, and the atmosphere was inviting—a great spot for a casual meal!

Food was good as was service. We came here after having an awful experience at another restaurant and we were served quickly and food came quickly, was what we ordered and was hot.

My experience was unfortunate, it is the worst experience of my life in a restaurant, the waiters were very unpleasant and had no blood in their veins, we had to ask them for 3 bottles of water about 8 times and ended up showing them our table and our payment so that they could check that in fact they had not brought them (according to them they had brought everything). We sat at two different tables and they exchanged food because there was supposedly no more left, we found out everything when we left. Also, they didn't put my food in my place and I had to talk for 15 minutes with the person in charge to make him acknowledge that he hadn't put it in because he said yes, even though he saw that there was no dish in my place. He ended up understanding me and gave me a wrap, even so the waiters treated me contemptuously except for the Canarian waitress. In conclusion, don't go if you don't want to be left without food, argue with the staff of the disgusting restaurant or have health problems the next day.

Disastrous experience. They don't bring you what you order and you have to prove what you ordered by even showing them the receipt to convince them of the number of dishes requested. Very unpleasant treatment from the person in charge of the establishment. Only the Spanish waitress is saved.

Bad service, bad food and a lot of confusion from the waiter. They didn't serve us the dishes although they claimed they did. Nothing is saved!!!

Starting with our arrival at the place, we did not know how the organization of the establishment was going. They waited on us and sat us at the tables and left us without telling us that we had to order online, which we had to discover on our own. Once the food arrives we see the terrible presentation it has, we try it and it gets worse. The waiters don't know what food they have and what they don't have. We ordered three bottles of water and a salad, have you seen it? me neither. The water was the only thing of commendable quality, since they didn't make it, what a coincidence. When I claimed the salad that they didn't give me, one of the members of the Nando's staff gave me a sour face as if he were forgiving my life and the trip to the Anglo-Saxon municipality. SUMMARY: It is better to eat on the floor of a public bathroom with food you buy at the market.

I went to Nando’s at the O2 yesterday but it’s not coming up in Google reviews, the service and food was AMAZING. Edward and his team gave us the best hospitality experience and I will for sure be coming again. Thank you so much!!

Got my best ever Nando’s experience here.

Nandos food is always good and consistent. Tried the Fanta orange flavour which was nothing special, Nando’s original is better. Staff here are always friendly, delivery from here can be hit and miss with up to an hour wait. Only reason it’s not 5star is because the prices don’t reflect the fact that pretty much everything is self serve.

Fast food at restaurant prices. No table service, sat in draughty atrium, no atmosphere. Have to order on an app, no cutlery. No interaction from staff. Food was edible, but a McDonalds chicken burger would have been the same.

Absolutely useless place for delivery, driver did deliver my food, called customers service which were very unhelpful and wasted hours of my time. Stupid and incompetent drivers, which do not follows their companies rules. I would highly recommend not ordering and saving hours of your time and money.

I am disappointed to be writing another negative review about the portions of your Chicken wings.. quarter chicken and even your spicy rice.. I would absolutely never recommend . Something needs to be done. Until then I will never be coming back.!!!!!

I will start by saying that my experience regarding the staff and the service they offer is terrible. We went two days in a row, the first day everything we ordered took a long time to arrive, in addition, we clearly specified that everything was not spicy and everything was spicy, being inedible. However, since there are not many dog ​​friendly places and that day they let us pass with dogs, the next day we had to repeat out of obligation since there were not many places to eat near our hotel. But to our surprise that day they told us that dogs were not allowed, one day yes and another no?? I thought it was in very bad taste, finally after arguing with the waitresses (quite rude) they let us eat, doubting whether we had gone the day before or not, in short, it doesn't matter how good the food is if the service is bad...

There's generally very little variation in the Nando's formula, so if you like Nando's you'll be fine coming here. But this restaurant was a little too close to the lower end of the Nando's quality spectrum for my liking. I'll be coming back tomorrow because I want Nando's again...just begrudgingly. First off, the waiter who showed me to the table spoke so fast I could barely understand what he was saying. I picked a few words like 'sink', 'toilets', 'drinks', so I got the gist of what he was saying. Then I went to the till as usual to order my *starter* and main course. A few minutes later the starter came, and before I had time to decide if it was undercooked enough to send it back and ask them to try again (it *was* undercooked, but undercooked halloumi is still edible), the head waiter came with my main course and moved on. After about 30 seconds of looking between my starter and main course the head waiter returned to ask if everything was OK. I asked if he could take the main course back because it'd be cold by the time I'd finished my starter, which he happily did. When he brought it back, I don't think it was stored anywhere particularly warm because the chicken had cooled quite a lot just as I had feared. I wanted to give the restaurant a higher review. The head waiter seemed like a nice guy. But it seems like they were more focused on getting the food out there and disposing of customers as quickly as possible instead of ensuring a quality dining experience (I know this might sound like I'm expecting too much - it *is* Nando's, after all - but I've been to many better ones around the country). Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better experience. Oh, and before I forget, the ambience wasn't to my liking, either. The restaurant is open to the food hall like many of the other restaurants in this place. I prefer the more cosy ones. EDIT: Day number 2 and things were much better, so I improved my rating accordingly. The halloumi stick starter came before the main course and was well cooked. The main course was hot when it arrived after I had finished my starter. And the guy on the till was very helpful, easily resolving an issue when the drink I ordered wasn't in stock. I will leave yesterday's comments where they are because yesterday happened, but I can happily say that I will return next time I start in Canary Wharf.

Writing this review as an anonymous due to the way we’ve been treated multiple times at Canary Wharf jubilee place especially with a staff called Rima… She has been super disrespectful so ignorant I know how Nandos works as I used to work there but the way she treats us genuinely is disgraceful shouting very intimidating always arrogant and has a massive ego I’ve never had an issue in Nandos until she comes in she’s like a demon she is Please Nandos fix this as this is disgraceful especially when your a supervisor

Customer service is very bad and a beard guy asked me did you ever visit Nandos in your life? What a shame is it? By the why I visited several Nandos in UK, USA and Bangladesh. Just ignore this restaurant. this is very rude!!!! i will never visit this place ever again!

This is the worst nandos. Whenever I order on Deliveroo they ALWAYS do something wrong. They forget to put sauce 9 out of 10 times and this one time they do remember to put the sauce into the bag, it’s the wrong one! They give me spicy instead of lemon and herb and I’m pregnant I can’t eat spicy food!!! Horrible staff, they should all be fired for constantly being careless and making mistakes EVERY time I order

Large piece of plastic found in chicken burger and reported to manager.. manager accepted the mistake was their fault but refused me a refund, all i was offered was a free dessert. SHOCKING.! If you don't want plastic in your food, stay away.....!

Ana our waitress was excellent and very helpful. Went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our table as we had our baby with us.

The service was awesome! This Nando's was super busy at lunchtime, but the food came out really quickly and was cooked perfectly. The portion size was just what I'd expect from Nando's!

The staff here especially Denise was so polite helpful Attentive. The food was lovely fresh. I ordered a wrong salad and it was exchanged free of charge. Ordered food. Sat down for 30 minutes. Checked with waiter. He came back and asked what I ordered. Waited again for 15 minutes. Checked again, no order. Asked for refund. Everyone’s food smelt so good which made things much worse. Probably won’t take my chances here again.

A huge thank you to Anna for her exceptional service! Today, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. Despite our limited English, Anna was incredibly patient and attentive, making us feel welcome and comfortable. She meticulously explained the menu to us and frequently checked in to see if we needed anything else, ensuring our dining experience was seamless. Additionally, when we were unable to get our desired ice cream flavor due to a special circumstance with the machine, another gentleman at the ordering counter found out and kindly offered us a small cup of ice cream for free and apologized, hoping we would still enjoy our meal. This act of kindness and consideration truly touched us. I highly recommend their chicken wings combo — it was absolutely delicious and a highlight of our meal today. Just a small suggestion, it would be perfect if there was a bit more ketchup provided! I highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks again to Anna, the gentleman at the counter, and all the staff at the restaurant. We will be back next time if we got chance back to london.

Nandos Canary wharf is a credit to the brand and represents so much that is good about enjoying a casual dinner in London. The service is fantastic; led wonderfully by Rima who always treats us with the utmost respect and courtesy. She is also extremely efficient and an excellent communicator, proving a calming presence in busy (and hungry) times! The branch are lucky to have her!

Plenty of seats, relatively fast service, slightly disappointing they didn’t have that many sauces available besides the extra hot, but that was due to the restaurant being incredibly busy

Horrible experience overall. From 6 tables having been left dirty, to Jamal’s order taking (telling me I can’t cancel the order and change it because he’s already put it in the system) to terrible service (telling me I can’t get pepper and lemon sauce because other people are using them). Furthermore, I had two broccoli sides and received a tiny portion for i. Absolute robbery. I’ll never come here again and I recommend others don’t too. Who runs this place and why can’t they be more like Cabot place?

Came to eat with 3 others but 2 of them were a little late on lunch. Myself and the other person who were there ordered food (two mains and a shared side). Our friends eventually arrived 20 minutes later and ordered also. One of the two mains we ordered arrived. After 10 minutes, nothing. Then our friends who were 20 minutes late received their food in full. A string of delivery drivers inside the restaurant then all received their food. By this point the tiny main (butterfly chicken) was left to go cold waiting for everything else. I asked the waitress about our order who just informed me "it's being made". So I asked if they could remake the main i had been served as it's going to be stone cold by the time the rest of it arrives. She then appears 3 minutes after with a fresh butterfly chicken and... Nothing else ... So we are back to square 1 After 45 mins total of waiting, we got our food, with my cold second main, after being told we'd need to wait 20 mins. Our friends who arrived and ordered at least 20 minutes later had received and eaten theirs. Cannot recommend for a lunch with colleagues again. Strange scenes in the kitchen and service staff seemingly MIA at busy times.

Initially there was a few mix ups with the food and the food was slightly cold however we had great and attentive service from Jamal who quickly resolved our issues and made us feel very comfortable. Thanks Jamal ! 👍

Though overall food was good, toilet were dirty ( disgusting) with no staff was checking how it would be for customers, quite a long wait in the queue & food to arrive which was understandable for a busy Saturday night, some tables in upstairs were not cleared for a long time.

Stars are for the welcoming and friendly waiter and waitresses. Surprisingly poor service and lack of patience being served by the lady at the till. (She shouldn’t be serving any customers). Food is mediocre, bland and warm. Convenient location that I will be avoiding in the future.
