On 3 separate occasions items were missing on delivery. The last time ALL the mains were missing, we spent over £85 to receive only chips and Mac cheese. Did Nando's not see these 5 mains on the counter and wonder who's they were? Did they think the customer just wouldn't bother ringing up about it? Oh, and when I rang about them it was to a general call centre and guess what, they couldn't process the refund! I stated that the sides were no good to us without the mains and they were welcome to come and pick them up or they were being binned as we had, now, to order from elsewhere. We got an email stating the refund was being processed MINUS the sides!! So, basically we gave Nando's £30 for nothing! The food on previous orders was barely warm anyway but we gave them the benefit of the doubt but this was the last straw. They have lost us as customers, which is a shame as the food was quite good. Also it seems a bit cheeky to put a 'service' charge on rather than giving you an option !

Not understanding the low reviews at all. 30 minute wait seems normal to me so people are not constantly flowing in waiting for a table. Food was really good for a family of 4. The dining experience is different at Nandos as you are taken to your table then left to order your own food scanning the QR code at your table. Drinks are the brought to you and your food also. You get you own cuttelry and sauces to add to your order if you want them. Has to be 5 stars from me

I have stayed away from Nandos recently as the last time i ordered thighs i got one cut in 4. (Takeaway) when i made an official complained and sent photo evidence, i basically got the generic message of we strive to meet equal portion sizes etc. with no offer of replacing the item that i was robbed on! (It was at the time when Nandos were struggling to get the thighs) So anyway i went to the Burnley Nandos today and it’s night and day better! The staff are more friendly the food actually is cooked and tastes way nicer! The amount of sauce that comes already on the chicken is so much better and it’s just all in all more juicier! Burnley Nandos has restored my faith in the franchise and i will return to this one again!

Can’t argue with Nando’s food, it’s mostly consistent allover! I like that you pay once and get free refills, however my first 3-4 visits I had to walk out as there was over a 45 minute wait for food each time so I’ve only eaten there a few times despite attempting to dine there more often

I was only in this place for 5 minutes before I left. Although we we're seated quickly, the table we did get seated at was filthy. Also the floor had spilt milk and crumbs underneath. The menu was okay-ish but nothing that jumped out at me so I left. There's probably better locations than this and therefore I wouldn't return.

First visit to nandos Burnley. Picked a table outside such a nice evening to sit out. Nobody approached me after standing in doorway for 5 mins so I went to counter and ordered. Took my drinks outside and waited for food. Not a long wait but when food came it wasn't hot. I should have said something but I didn't, nobody checked to see if everything was ok untill we had finished eating when the server who had taken my order came to take the plates. I explained the food was lukewarm she was very apologetic and offered a free dessert but we didn't take them up on it. Nandos I would rather have my food hot please.

When I arrived at 8pm we had to wait 50 minutes for a table so we went to the icaro lounge for a drink. When we came back at 8.50 we sat down. I had ordered at the desk and my friend ordered on the qr code that was on the table. I had ordered chicken thighs and 2 sides and my friend ordered a wrap and 1 side. My friends food came almost Instantly and mine wasn't anywhere to be seen. After 20 minutes with no food I went to ask why I've not got my food and was told there's no chicken Thighs ready yet. I was never told when ordering there wasn't any available at the time. So they said that it won't be long. So sat back down. My friend had finished her food and another 10 minutes had passed and was really annoyed as I had no food and my friend had finished hers. After 30 minutes from ordering, I finally got my food with a sorry for the wait and that was it. Now the food was great but what really annoyed me was we didn't have our food at the same time so it was awkward. If the staff had said there wasn't any thighs and it would be 30 minute wait I would of changed my order but I wasn't told this. We didn't even get anyone coming to our table asking if everything was okay soo I'm really disappointed in the service. The food was fine but I've been to much better customer friendly nandos before. Real shame as its great to have nandos In burnley but they need to work o ntbier customer service better.

I must say that Nando's is actually one of my favorite chains, but the one in Burnley really let me down. It shouldn't even be called Nando's. The food was a complete disappointment - cold, not fresh, and definitely not up to Nando's standard. In general, it lacked taste. I would recommend trying the place next door instead, it has a much better atmosphere and the food there was great

Although we all enjoyed our food, I rang beforehand knowing we had a large party with one disabled lady who can't sit on a normal chair for a long amount t of time so needed a booth, I was told this isn't an option so on arrival I was told we can pull 2 tables together ( all of which was a seat unsuitable) other than that would be a 45 minute wait for a woman who literally can't stand that long. Luckily 2 ppl left a booth so I said could we just have some in the booth and some next too it and that was accommodated too straight away. I just feel a booking service needs to be an option especially due to disabilities. Out waitress was amazing I didn't get her name but she had blonde hair and was absolutely fab. Other than the inability to book everyone enjoyed the food x

Regularly visit nandos throughout the country and the Burnley one is as good as any. You know what you’re getting with Nando’s and the standard here is always good with excellent service and they’re good with the kids. Never had a bad meal here and been multiple times since it opened.

We ordered our food through the app, so far that was okay.We got served quite quickly and we were sat outside to enjoy the weather and when I say outside I mean the outdoor tables, however when we politely asked if we can smoke a cigarette/vape we were asked to leave the area which is not logical.So, bear that in mind if you are a smoker and go to Nando’s😅

My boyfriend and I went for what was supposed to be date night last night before going to the cinema next door. Took us a couple of minutes to get seated which is fine. We then got told by the waitress ‘I’ll just give you a list of everything we’ve ran out of, is that okay’ - she was only young so not going to slate her too much but the customer service skills definitely need working on. We were then given the list of ‘sold out’ items - absolutely shocking for a Monday night !! We decided to go elsewhere at the majority of the items we wanted they didn’t have, never known this to happen at a Nando’s in all the 10+ years I’ve been visiting. Will not be returning to this branch.

We arrived on a Saturday at 1:30, expecting it to be busy, it wasn’t, I’d say a good half of the tables were empty but full of dirty plates, queued at the door for a few seconds when the manager came and asked if we had put our name down for a table (unsure how to even do that) I said no and he’s said well you’ll be waiting 25 minutes. Literally 10 people in the restaurant, staff not looking very busy and lots of dirty tables. Wasn’t impressed at all so we left.

I am a big Nando fan, and I've been a loyal customer for as long as I can remember. This experience was not up to the usual Nando's standards we all expect. The service was slow and unfriendly, the waitress didn't come to check how the food was until we had already finished it and didn't stick around to listen to any feedback. The chicken was tough and dry, my wife found an inch thick piece of solid, burnt black chicken in her Fina Pitta. My butterfly chicken appeared to have come off a baby chick as it definitely was not off a fully grown bird, the skin was soggy instead of crispy. All in all, I'm definitely never going to this Nando's again, 1 star.

Ended up not eating here due to the poor service. Stood waiting in the queue, like at every other Nando’s, and no staff came to check us in and add to the list, so assumed we were in the queue. No. After twenty minutes waiting, they checked and we were told we had another 35 minutes to wait. We put our name on the list and went to eat next door, being seating immediately and having our food before we would have been seated in Nando’s. Wouldn’t go again. Staff seemed at a loose end too, including the manager.

5 * for the food, the food at Nando’s is incredible. I honestly cannot recommend their food enough! However, the Manager who works at Burnley Nando’s is awful! His attitude and body language gives you the whole, “I cannot be bothered vibe” with zero manners. The staff seemed to be unsure what to do half the time, we were made to stand at the door for so long we decided to seat ourselves. The manager didn’t like this, and gave us some attitude about it. Maybe next time have your staff be ready to seat people? Or better yet, let us seat ourselves. I understand if the restaurant is busy, but it was empty. & nobody wants to stand there for ages when there’s so many tables to be sat at. We was met with eye rolls the second we entered Nando’s restaurant in Burnley. Not a place I felt welcome. A complete shame, considering the food is fantastic.

The food was great! However, there was a local security guard, and his friends sat opposite to me and my family. Their language and childish behaviour was outrageous. They then proceeded to hang around the entrance, blocking our exit on the way out. I think the staff should've at least moved them on from the premises. I'd be looking into the security guard too. If he works for the retail park nandos is situated on, then he is clearly not good for business. Spoiled our first experience of nandos.

Their customer service is awful. When I visited this restaurant on Saturday night with my family I staff told me to wait for 40 minutes (which is normal in Nando's), but there is no place to sit inside the restaurant. When I told the manager that our 8 months old baby is with us and it's too cold outside the restaurant as there is an open area outside. I pointed manager an empty bench infront of us where my family could sit and wait upon this manager gave me a funny response that if your family will sit there, it might cause a fire hazard. This response disappointed me, and we went to Nando's Blackburn. They offered us a place to sit during waiting for our turn. We enjoyed the good food and customer service of Nando's Blackburn. Manager and staff of Nando's Burnley must learn how to give their customer a good service.

Recently visited and enjoyed my experience. Manager and staff were very nice and particularly attentive to my children's allergies even though I've been to nandos several times so knew what they could/ could not eat. The atmosphere was busy and nice. Only downside is that you can't pre-book a table so might have to wait if u turn up. That's a big issue if you want to go with a large group. Secondly, we did have to wait quite a while for our food but it was quite busy also

I looked for alternative ways to contact you rather than making a "bad review" but was unsuccessful, I ordered on the app to collect today at 7pm order #37921b upon entering there was 3 staff stood by the door, I entered looked gave a smile and said hello, made my way to the counter with my mobile order (I was under the impression you just went straight to collect) the man by the door in a blue shirt shouted can I help you in a very hostile tone, I'd only come in to pick up my order I wasn't expecting to be spoken to like that, other than that the lady who served me at the till was lovely and the food was great, the man in question just needs speaking to about customer service.

Went here yesterday at 5.20 pm was told to come back in 40 minutes, got a table ordered the food then to be told no chicken wings left and to basically hurry up and eat your food as we shut at 7 didn’t get a table until 6.15. Then we were told there was chicken wings but couldn’t order desert as the tills were turned off the manager is a joke Shocking place will never return and the chicken didn’t even looked cooked. Nando’s as a whole need to review their booking system. Both Burnley and Blackburn branch never have any spaces (even though there are clearly 8 tables visibly empty) Their response is to write down your name and tell you come back in 45 mins. Tables are visibly empty and I physically watched people leave. If your restaurant is this popular and this is clearly a common issue then review your booking system. Once we eventually got a seat we were informed by THE APP (not a member of staff) that they’re out of butterfly chicken (chicken breast and the new special edition burger) Absolute shambles.

I recently dined at Nandos Burnley. The reservation was easy to make, and the staff was extremely helpful in accommodating our special requests. Also the manager Nadeem was impeccable. The ambiance was great, and the food definitely lived up to my expectations. We tried the house recommendations, and if you visit the restaurant, you should too. This is a must-try if you are looking for a nice cozy place for dinner.

If you want cold, food that takes 50 minutes to arrive then you’ve got the right place. Come to Nando’s Burnley. Then if you want to be treated rudely by the service people when you enquire about your food then please go ahead and line up in the freezing cold for 45 minutes for a table. Oh and not forgetting half way through your meal if your feeling the spice from the chicken, then don’t worry because they turn the heating off!! Far cry from the usual Nando’s that I know!

Food was good as usual at Nandos, however the service is terrible, I was made to wait 30 minutes when I asked a member of staff why I was waiting when so many tables was available she couldn't answer, then when we was seated it was at a table that was available when we walked in. You are not allowed to wait inside.. it is a really bizarre setup I have been to nandos in big city's where it is genuinely busy and they still seat you in the quickest time possible. Won't be revisiting any time soon.

The chicken was very dry. Customer service was hit and miss. Some good, others not interested. We had the wrong food order sent. Instead of accepting the mistake and rectifying, we had to pay extra for what we ordered, then was given the refund for the difference. The difference was just over a pound. While eating we was having to sort this through receipts and card payments. Did not make for an enjoyable experience. To say this is a new restaurant open, I would have expected more. I'm sure others have had better experience but I won't be back. I also don't agree with the paying to park.

The place is a shambles. There’s no waiting area so if it’s raining outside u have to stand out side. There’s a hour wait no matter what time of the day you come. The staff is not very helpful at all. Won’t be coming back.

I have been to many nandos and all have them have been a great experience. And this one is no different fantastic service in relation to allergies which one of my party had, the manager on shift on the 11/11/2023 at 1700 was nothing less than phenomenal great warm attitude and very understanding and the food was equally lovely, it's nice to feel comfortable with the food you're eating and the twice we have dined here (so far) has been spectacular!

Weird. Half the tables empty but have been told on two speerate occasions that no tables available and to come back in an hour. Could be run better - Hoping it gets better. Understand its still wearly days. But yeah it's Nandos, nothing special. Over priced for what it is really

Very new restaurant, loved the design......just hope they keep it clean, unlike many other Nandos I've been in, mainly in cities. Staff are still learning the ropes bit on the whole really good. Would be better if they served coffee, which I like after a meal whilst chatting to friends.

As soon as we came in, the manager we met nadeem, was very nice and polite. He had seated us straight away. The work colleagues were very hospitable and friendly. The atmosphere was very nice met some old friends there too. I will recommend more family and friends to come nandos.

We arrived early on Friday. Loads of empty tables. “ please go away and return in 40 mins “. When I asked why all the tables were reserved ( which is not Nando’s policy ) I was told that they were waiting for the people to come back who they had sent away. Are they for real ?? It was pouring down 6.45 pm why should we walk round in the rain. Who decided on this crazy policy. Been in loads of Nando’s it’s just a queuing system.

I'm not going to lie, I was quite put off visiting here due to the bad reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised. We visited around 2 pm. on a Wednesday afternoon and managed to get seated straight away without any wait. We ordered using the bar code at the table, and 3 minutes after we paid, we got the starter and drinks. I ordered the butterfly burger, and my husband ordered the wing roulette, and we only had to wait 10 mins for our food. The food was delicious and the restaurant was full and had a lovely atmosphere. All in all we were very satisfied with our visit and will definitely visit again.

Absolutely rubbish experience! Was told to come back after two hours and to be added to a waiting list. The restaurant was dead and the staff were just stood there, was very awkward and not impressed with this service. Don’t understand how this place is expected to run if they can’t even accommodate even one table!

Again I walked away disappointed. What does one need to do to eat inside this place? After reading most of the reviews of the unhappy people of Burnley who have experienced the same issues, Nandos online team say the same thing to everyone who can't get in, or has to make a booking, wait for an hour while half of the restaurants tables sit empty...... We're sorry, that not how we like to do things in Burnley Nandos, we will pass this on to the staff at Pioneer Place. Nothing has changed, it's still the same, turning people away, expecting people to wait or book. When "No need to book, just show up!" Was your advertised advice. That's what I know as WRONGFUL ADVERTISING!!!!

Excellent Nandos , the best in the local area I would say. Food was cooked to perfection. Very helpful friendly staff Can tell it’s new as everything is brand new and clean which is nice. No issues at all One thing to take into account is you have to pay for parking if you want to park close. Plenty of parking nearby. I can imagine in an evening it may be busy as the cinema is on the same complex as Nandos. Happy customer today. Thank you Nandos

Excellent food and service. Beautiful pub, fresh, clean, and lots of character. The staff are so friendly and efficient. It's definitely worth a visit, not only for the food but for a beer and a game of pool too!

not bad at all. BUT! For such prices the portions are too small. I have tried many Chinese food in the area and got huge portions for this money, but not here. The girl at the reception is very nice and friendly.
