Yi Fong Chinese Takeaway (Order Online) in Burnley

The woman behind the counter was very nice but thats where it ends. Salt and pepper spare ribs just bone in batter no meat at all. Spring roll was wet inside and had a "damp" taste. The curry was full of meat but tasteless. A overall disappointing 1/10

Hot Food. Great value, one of the only Chinese Takeaways left thats not stupidly over priced. I don't wake up needing 10 gallons of water with a super dry mouth. Hope "Yi Fong" doesn't change. Good Quality, Tasty Chinese Food. Highly Recommend

Quite a feat for the chips to be both burnt and turn up cold.

First time using this takeaway. Got beef curry ad fried rice. The beef was off and inedible so my husband rang but not too helpful. He took it back and after an argument and threatening to ring food hygiene, they refunded him for the beef curry only( even the the rice was contaminated with the rotten beef). Sad really but definitely could not use them again

Been using this take away for years. Haven't had one in months so thought I'd treat myself. It was tastless poor quality food. Spring roll contained cut up hot dog sausage. I had to bin the whole meal. Even the dog wouldn't touch it They have lost a customer here that's for sure

The food was cool, waited 45 mins and were only half a mile away. We’re offered something for free next time ? There won’t be a next time! What does it matter whether or not it was done in or take out or delivery?

The salt and pepper spare ribs were dry and inedible, the 5 mini spring rolls were dry and inedible. The meal its self was tastless. I spent £40 and through it all in the bin. Would not recommend 😕

Absolutely shocking for what I bought things missing from order and no-one answering phone to complain. Will never go there again. Chicken was really rubbery as well

Food ok but spoilt by finding multiple long hairs in rice. Don't think I could go again as I'd be expecting the same.

Excellent food and generous portions

Took 2 hours for the food to be delivered, and was stone cold when it arrived. I sent the food back and had my money refunded by the driver. Terrible service,

Disgusting food,salt & pepper spare ribs full of grease and smelled off,special fried rice full of fat and grease all order went in bin,phoned take away and owner said that was normal for there food didn’t even offer refunded,avoid at all costs disgusting third rate Chinese take away!!

We absolutely LOVED this Chinese, but the last TWO orders, have been over 1½ to be delivered & FREEZING cold. The lady on the phone was trying to convince me that because the chicken wings had no sauce they would go a bit cold? I'm sorry but.....40 mins in the car with the driver (who bless him was run off his feet) is the reason it was cold. Sorry we will not be back again.

Chow main was fabulous and beef and mushroom was beautiful will be coming here more often. I was so not disappointed which was brilliant and good priced the delivery guy was so nice 👍 👍👍

Last week was lovely ordering again this week and chips are burnt and the lady who took out order her English was non exsistant can’t wait for choys to open up on Victoria rd

Lovely food and speedy delivery, little disappointed that I'm paying for special chow main, but noticing not beef or prawns are in the dish.

Food was late but id expect that due to being really busy ...this wasn't a problem but when the food came the salt and pepper chips were so greasy they looked so unappetising the fried rice had no taste .. i used to love this chippy but tonight was a massive let down.. this could be due to them being really busy and rushing so I will give a 4 star and hope if I reorder its back to how it used to be..

The food here is the best chinese in Burnley! I asked if the mushroom and onion in garlic gravy could you add some bean sprouts no problem very willing.I had mixed Foo Young it went together very well and portion size are HUGE.Thanks for everything!

Absolutely love this place. This is my go to Chinese in burnley. Great price and generous portions. Friendly staff. Always delivered on time even with a large order Highly recommend if you have never been before.

I have always been a chicken and sweetcorn soup kinda guy until my wife ordered the chicken and noodle soup and it was a life changer, best soup I have eaten and always order when we go here. We love the crispy chili beef and have never had a bad experience with them.

Order tonight and the food was cold and I had to put it all in the bin now sitting in pain something is not right

Order confirmed at 5:30pm, arrived at 6:45pm, took an hour and fifteen minutes. Deliver driver apologised and the staff seemed nice when i called to chase up my order but the food was stone cold. Soup got hard and lumpy. Had to reheat everything that took nearly 20 minutes. Little boy didn't eat any of his sausage and chips, normally gone in minutes. Had to make him a fresh meal. Nearly did the same for me and my partner. Wish they just told me they were really busy from the get go and I would have respectfully just asked to cancel my order....

Food took ages to arrive and was barely warm when it finally arrived, fried rice was burnt, chips and pie were cold, £10 for cold burnt food, add to that £1 for delivery and a 50p service charge, I guess they dont know how satnavs work which is ironic, not the first time its happened either

Rudest person earth rang to see how long it would be as waited for over an hour for her to scream at me on the phone never been spoked to like that when ur paying them for a service

Decided on chinese as I haven't ordered for a long time from Yi Fong and was really looking forward to a wednesday evening treat. I remembered it being a cracking takeaway, but has really gone downhill in my opinion. The food arrived later than expected delivery time and the food was almost cold...we was starving so decided to eat it anyway ( just hope and pray we are not poorly tomorrow). I ordered salt and pepper chicken, tasted nothing like it used to, the chicken was very chewy and hard. A few pieces were in-edible and had to spit it out, after chewing way too long. Wonder if any of it had to do with the polystyrene tub that was mis-shapen prob due to being kept warm in an oven, or microwave, who knows. The chicken chow mein, although the coldest of all was much easier to eat. Overall very disappointed from what was once my favourite Chinese, never again

Absoulety shocking customer service and disgusting food. I had a delivery today first time I ordered the food was piping hot. Second time ordered and this time the food was cold and my partner ordered satay sauce and banana fritters. When it came the delivery girl said a little spilled I thought she actually ment little spill I told her it was ok. Went to open it and the sauce was bust and spilled everywhere and the banana fritters was squashed like something heavy was sitting on top of it. My partner went to ring up to ask for another one and the lady came on the phone and she had a bit of attitude towards my partner as he tried to explain what happens she tried to make it out as his fault and didn't want to exchange it instead kept saying "we are out of banana can't give it to you." Instead of offering something else she was really rude and my partner gave up and hung up the phone. Half of the food went in to the bin cause it was cold and disgusting only ate some cause I was hungry but couldn't eat anymore. I will not be returning again after this horrible experience your staff needs to learn customer service training and not give excuses saying we busy or can't do it. I have been to places where there are busy and still have excellent customer service and still deliver piping hot excellent food. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

They have greatly improved since new management, nd their chips are delicious. The person who takes your order, (Helen) is very very friendly and kind!

Been going here for years and never had bad service (bar once) or food. Always friendly staff especially if you go into the shop portions are generous and is a very popular takeaway with locals in the area. Tasty food and good value.

Overcooked and then re-cooked greasy chips, asked for replacement and received undercooked replacement 30 mins later, well worth the £56, never again

Enjoyed it worth the visit and money loads too choose from the menu might try the squid next time

Busy but friendly and great food

Good portion sizes, Chinese and chippy food both good! love their chicken curry and salt and pepper chicken! My boyfriend gets the duck house special which he loves and soups are good too, would recommend!

Only live 1 minute away. Got food home and it was stone cold. Greasy oily cold chips that weren't cooked in the middle. Crushed up flimsy prawn crackers. Everything tasted too salty. Disappointed as this place used to be really good.

Superb food and fast home delivery service. I have been using their service for several years now and always have had terrific results. Highly reccomended
