Nando's Beckton in Newham

Ben is a credit to the team, personable yet professional! The rest of the team had smiles on their faces with every customer interaction witnessed. Good food, quick service, can't complain!

Due to my job I have the chance to try different Nando’s all over the South. This is by far the most friendly and best customer service from all of the ones I have visited. Congratulations to the team!

We went to nandos today 21.03.25 and we literally go there every other week. We are loyal customers of numerous years. Today we found one of the workers (Stephen) at the beckton branch very rude and not customer friendly at all. We enquired about something and he answered in a rude tone, "What is it?". He was very impolite

Fantastic service and friendly, with prompt delivery of food cooked perfectly. The new starter John was helpful in assisting me and checking when food was delivered. Vibrant atmosphere.

Came to nando’s at 5:30 for iftar at 6:03pm as I know they have a habit of giving food out late. The host at the front said they are not sitting anyone down yet and to join a virtual queue . The next couple after us came in and joined the queue. The host immediately asked them if they were fasting and they said no. The host sat them down straight away (the restaurants seating area was empty). He then purposely ignored people’s questions (all who were visibly muslim). When asked when we will be seated down , he said they will not begin to sit anyone down till 5:45pm. Everyone who came in after and were not visibly muslim were seated down straight away , they were not asked to join the queue. I went to ask about iftar time and if they will be able to give the food out on time if we were seated at 5:45pm , he stuttered and then said it will be out fast dont worry. Even though the seating area was empty , we were all still told to wait near the door and this point we were worried that there would be no time to order and then have the food delivered on time so we were forced to go somewhere else. I was appalled by the service.

Amazing quality food all the time! By far the best nandos in East London! I visit this place 3x a week minimum and the staff never fail to deliver nothing but an exceptional service. Big shout out to Tessa for her amazing service!

Took my kids to Nando’s as they love it, their usual is the one in Ilford and we were so impressed with everything at Beckton. Staff were so friendly and helpful, food came fast and it’s a big restaurant and the space inside was decent. We’ll come again when I’ve got hungry kids! Well done and top marks.

As a regular Nando’s customer, I was hugely disappointed with my meal yesterday. Having eaten nothing all day, I went for my usual order, only to find the chips smelled and tasted awful. They left me with stomach pain and discomfort. It felt like a complete waste of money.

Lovely lady called Nurie or Yuri, was a great host. Was accommodating to a table of 10pp and checked up on us all the time. Thank you

The first time I’ve eaten Nando’s in ages and when I arrived, Riz (the manger) gave excellent customer service from the beginning when we waited to be seated right until my friend and I finished our food and left. We got served by a work colleague named Roy on the till and his customer service was excellent also. When the food came, my friend wanted her food well done and Roy took the plate back and brought her everything she requested. The food was delicious and fresh, it did not feel like the food was already prepared and the tables were clean. I would definitely come back here again even though I have local Nando’s but yes 5/5 rating.

Chan had great customer service skills to ensure that we were satisfied with our food and he made us feel comfortable.

The staff at the counter were brilliant, but it was quite busy. The liver was too too tangy. I love Nandos liver but they got it wrong this time.

Riz provides excellent service and exceptional care each time we’ve visited.

People think all Nandos branches are the same. They're not, this is definitely the best in East London.

Absolutely wonderful service at this restaurant. The customer service was A1, in particularly Riz and Tes, they were so lovely. Food was also amazing which made the overall experience enjoyable and has me wanting to come back.

Food was late and many people got it before us however kudos to Alexandar who was very welcoming and helpful.

We went for a family meal to the Beckton Branch on Valentines day. My husband and son ordered the same half chicken meal and the leg pieces were pink and wet from inside (I have pictures taken at the restaurant. I did not eat any of my meal as i had to wait over 40 mins for it and by the time it came, my son had started vomiting I am attaching the receipt as requested - I had ordered online at the table My son (sick), My husband ( - Sick), At any point from the time my son was vomiting inside the Nandos toilet and then on the doorstep of the restaurant, no member of staff from the restaurant came to check how he was. We came out of the branch and my son was vomiting on their door step but no help given. We left the restaurant humiliated by staff and more than half our meals left on the table In response to my complaint, I have been offered a £15 off my next meal!! Seriously, the level of customer service is so bad.

Nando's have decided that their boxes are reserved only for delivery customers. So if you have food leftover and you're not looking to waste. Note that you will be asked to shovel it inside a paper bag to be mushed together. We were informed by the employees that the manager has enforced that they are not allowed to hand out boxes to customers. So I now have chicken and chips all mushed together in a paper bag to eat later. Thanks Nando's Beckton. Our meal came to £47 so it's really confusing as to why you can't afford to give me a box 🤷

Great Service, Food Could Improve Had a family dinner at Nando’s last night, and overall, it was a good experience. The food was decent, but I noticed that the taste has dropped compared to last year. Unfortunately, the fries weren’t fully cooked, and I was given both portions with peri-peri instead of one being plain. However, the service was excellent, and I’m giving 5 stars solely because of Sukhoor! He was incredibly helpful in sorting out my order and ensuring I got the plain fries, which I assume were forgotten. I had to wait 15 minutes, but thanks to Sukhoor's attentiveness and kindness, it was resolved smoothly. The atmosphere was alright, though there was an incident where a lady at a nearby table fell off her chair due to a broken leg. Thankfully, nothing serious happened, but it would be a good idea for management to conduct routine furniture checks before opening. Big thanks to Sukhoor for his great service! I appreciate the hospitality, but I hope the food quality improves next time.

I have been here many times and the food here is lovely. The worst part is the delay in food coming out takes to long. Plus there are staff that work there and especially the Asian man just stand around your table staring at you smiling whilst your eating. It’s weird I had mentioned we are fine don’t need anything but that full one hour we was there he kept and another member od staff just lurk around standing and doing nothing. Very hard to eat your food when someone is constantly lurking over your table. Also portion sizes are very small from other Nando’s. This is the only Nando’s I know that gives small portions and my chips came out still discoloured and frozen. Didn’t want to speak to the staff as they just stand there look lost.

One of favourite Nandos to visit. Service, quality of food and atmosphere always on point. I recommend this place for some quality Nandos.

I had an amazing experience at Nando's Beckton! The staff, especially Shukkoor and Lashmi, were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Their warm smiles and excellent service truly enhanced our visit. The entire team was welcoming, creating a positive and comfortable atmosphere. My regular Nando's . Most of the staffs are nice and friendly here. We go there at least once a month..food is halal..only problem is toilet basin...this is disgusting ..I try to avoid to go to the toilet.

One time I went to this branch it was mid food was warm/cold and chicken skin not crispy very jelly. Came again recently, it was very busy night before Xmas eve and it was a pleasant suprise food was very hot and came quick Temi who works there was very pleasant attentive. Genuinely excellent service from Tania! We visited as a family of 6 with my 3 year old niece. Tania immediately introduced herself to my niece and asked what she wanted to eat, promised her stickers if she finished her meal and actually came back with stickers once the meal was over!! My niece was extremely happy and the meal was so enjoyable for us thanks to the excellent service from Tania. You genuinely would think you are eating in a high end restaurant in central London because of the care and attention. Nando’s Head office - Give this lady a promotion!!! 👏👏

I have been to various Nando’s many times over the years, but I have never experienced a service like I did from a staff member called Euri - she served me and my friend well, not only did she come over and check on us, she saw my friend did not have a drink with her food and asked her if she wanted a glass for water - Euri then came back with a glass of water w/ ice and a straw. It’s those little touches that can leave good long lasting impressions. Simple to some but EFFECTIVE! Euri deserves to be acknowledged for the service she gives.

Visited nandos today the food was amazing the vibes are unmatchable whenever I visit somewhere else this is my go to food spot because of the staff such as slavador and tania both of them give welcoming vibes which always makes me feel welcomed and want to visit again. Hopefully tania and slavador get rewarded for their great customer service

The salads are arriving after the main dishes. Staff not friendly. If you ask politely without rasing a voice, thay answer like someone knows you from before, but not in polite way. Service needs to be improved.

Had a very good experience today at Nandos Beckton, staff was very attentive and caring. Shout out Euri also my son really liked her.

Euri at Nando's made my visit special today. From the moment I ordered, she was incredibly attentive and friendly. When she noticed I had multiple drinks, she immediately offered to help carry them to my table - a small gesture that showed great customer service. Her menu knowledge was impressive, and she made excellent recommendations. Throughout the meal, she checked in at just the right times without being intrusive.

This place is no different than other Nandos however the restaurant itself is freezing cold. It's a glass type unit, so I can imagine it's boiling in the summer. They have even tried to put a air seal around the front door to prevent the drafts however this didn't help. Food was great however it went cold very quickly. I put a one star for the atmosphere due to the cold conditions and that is the only reason. The place was very clean, staff was friendly and the food when served was great.

Waited 30 mins for my takeaway only to find out my order was ready ages ago but they priorise Deliveroo orders instead. Other than that, food and service is usually good. All meat halal. Nandos have raised their priced... no longer a cheeky nandos unfortunately

Only downside is sometimes there is no parking. Otherwise Tania the manager is amazing for customer service. Really friendly and when issues arise (as sometimes happens) she’s always dealing with it professionally.

Food was okay, standards have dropped. Chicken was dry no sauce or flavour. However service from alexander was excelling. Very friendly and welcoming. Tended to all our needs and help.

just wanted to give a shout out to Roy from personal experience whenever i visit nandos roy tends to be a very nice gentleman he serves me my food very quickly and we normally have a good chat which leaves a positive effect on my mood glad to visit nandos next time.

Served by a guy called Rohan, was super helpful and attentive, made sure we had anything we needed even while the resturant was super busy and we had a table of 8. Food came out at different times but also could be due to us all ordering separately but wasn't a big issue

Standard nandos food cooked well and served hot. The staff were amazingly friendly, despite it being really busy. A real credit to the Nandos brand.
