Went to Nandos in Gallions Reach Armada way today and received the best customer service. All staff members were very approachable and willing to help. This has to be the best service I’ve ever received in any Nando’s branch from start to finish. Staff members seem very well trained and made sure I was comfortable and happy with the food and the service. Alexander was very kind to offer me help and made sure I was ok. A special thanks to Rizz, Alexander and Abu for making the experience a whole lot better than I expected. Rohan has also approached me at the end to ask if I was done and if everything was good. I usually never go food places on my own and today I thought why not and I don’t regret a bit.

Absolutely disappointed and disgusted at the level of service at this place. The staff are rude and very degrading. Let me get into it. We went to Nando’s for a meal with a guest we had over. We went to the tills to order chicken wings chips and a full platter, to which the man behind the till said “we ain’t got no chips or wings”. We then went on to order sides for the platter to which again they said there are no chips and no garlic bread. We walked away back to our table to discuss with our guest what alternatives they wanted. In this time we saw several tables being served chips and wings and other sides. We then went back and another meme we from our group ordered the same things to which they said yes we have all of this. We then questioned as to why we were denied chips etc and why your colleague lied about not having the items that are in the menu and were showing as available on their Nando’s app. The team is very ill mannered and have no respect. The customer service is severely lacking and it’s shocking to see that they’re denying people food they’re paying for. Will not be returning.

Nando’s has changed since my partner and I visited after Valentine’s Day. We enjoyed the food, but the restaurant experience was disappointing. Upon arrival at the Beckton branch, we had to scan a QR code to enter a digital queue, which was impersonal. It felt like being on hold, and would have found it much more friendly to be served by human. We waited hungry, looking at the waiting time on my phone. The branch was busy, and a text message was our only hope of getting a table. We received a text saying our table would be ready soon, but pointless as the front desk person asked if we were looking for a table anyway and seated us. We got to our table and found another QR code. I added items from the digital menu to my basket, but I regretted asking my partner to do the same on his phone aware of a lengthy process. I had to log into my Nando’s account, remembering my password, then verify my card. To verify my account, I had to go to my email and click a link, which took me to a new session instead of just entering the code, and I’m an account holder, I’m guessing it would be even longer for someone who doesn’t have one? I just found the whole process of ordering food an absolute ordeal. What happened to just sitting at table looking at our menu choosing what you wanted and going up to someone at the till point and ordering from them? Yes, you may have saved money by not having to hire two cashiers, but from pure a logical perspective you get less throughput of customers because they spend more time than before trying to decipher the system to order food!

Came to nando’s at 5:30 for iftar at 6:03pm as I know they have a habit of giving food out late. The host at the front said they are not sitting anyone down yet and to join a virtual queue . The next couple after us came in and joined the queue. The host immediately asked them if they were fasting and they said no. The host sat them down straight away (the restaurants seating area was empty). He then purposely ignored people’s questions (all who were visibly muslim). When asked when we will be seated down , he said they will not begin to sit anyone down till 5:45pm. Everyone who came in after and were not visibly muslim were seated down straight away , they were not asked to join the queue. I went to ask about iftar time and if they will be able to give the food out on time if we were seated at 5:45pm , he stuttered and then said it will be out fast dont worry. Even though the seating area was empty , we were all still told to wait near the door and this point we were worried that there would be no time to order and then have the food delivered on time so we were forced to go somewhere else. I was appalled by the service.

The first time I’ve eaten Nando’s in ages and when I arrived, Riz (the manger) gave excellent customer service from the beginning when we waited to be seated right until my friend and I finished our food and left. We got served by a work colleague named Roy on the till and his customer service was excellent also. When the food came, my friend wanted her food well done and Roy took the plate back and brought her everything she requested. The food was delicious and fresh, it did not feel like the food was already prepared and the tables were clean. I would definitely come back here again even though I have local Nando’s but yes 5/5 rating.

We went for a family meal to the Beckton Branch on Valentines day. My husband and son ordered the same half chicken meal and the leg pieces were pink and wet from inside (I have pictures taken at the restaurant. I did not eat any of my meal as i had to wait over 40 mins for it and by the time it came, my son had started vomiting I am attaching the receipt as requested - I had ordered online at the table My son (sick), My husband ( - Sick), At any point from the time my son was vomiting inside the Nandos toilet and then on the doorstep of the restaurant, no member of staff from the restaurant came to check how he was. We came out of the branch and my son was vomiting on their door step but no help given. We left the restaurant humiliated by staff and more than half our meals left on the table In response to my complaint, I have been offered a £15 off my next meal!! Seriously, the level of customer service is so bad.

Nando's have decided that their boxes are reserved only for delivery customers. So if you have food leftover and you're not looking to waste. Note that you will be asked to shovel it inside a paper bag to be mushed together. We were informed by the employees that the manager has enforced that they are not allowed to hand out boxes to customers. So I now have chicken and chips all mushed together in a paper bag to eat later. Thanks Nando's Beckton. Our meal came to £47 so it's really confusing as to why you can't afford to give me a box 🤷

Great Service, Food Could Improve Had a family dinner at Nando’s last night, and overall, it was a good experience. The food was decent, but I noticed that the taste has dropped compared to last year. Unfortunately, the fries weren’t fully cooked, and I was given both portions with peri-peri instead of one being plain. However, the service was excellent, and I’m giving 5 stars solely because of Sukhoor! He was incredibly helpful in sorting out my order and ensuring I got the plain fries, which I assume were forgotten. I had to wait 15 minutes, but thanks to Sukhoor's attentiveness and kindness, it was resolved smoothly. The atmosphere was alright, though there was an incident where a lady at a nearby table fell off her chair due to a broken leg. Thankfully, nothing serious happened, but it would be a good idea for management to conduct routine furniture checks before opening. Big thanks to Sukhoor for his great service! I appreciate the hospitality, but I hope the food quality improves next time.

I have been here many times and the food here is lovely. The worst part is the delay in food coming out takes to long. Plus there are staff that work there and especially the Asian man just stand around your table staring at you smiling whilst your eating. It’s weird I had mentioned we are fine don’t need anything but that full one hour we was there he kept and another member od staff just lurk around standing and doing nothing. Very hard to eat your food when someone is constantly lurking over your table. Also portion sizes are very small from other Nando’s. This is the only Nando’s I know that gives small portions and my chips came out still discoloured and frozen. Didn’t want to speak to the staff as they just stand there look lost.

Genuinely excellent service from Tania! We visited as a family of 6 with my 3 year old niece. Tania immediately introduced herself to my niece and asked what she wanted to eat, promised her stickers if she finished her meal and actually came back with stickers once the meal was over!! My niece was extremely happy and the meal was so enjoyable for us thanks to the excellent service from Tania. I have been to various Nando’s many times over the years, but I have never experienced a service like I did from a staff member called Euri - she served me and my friend well, not only did she come over and check on us, she saw my friend did not have a drink with her food and asked her if she wanted a glass for water - Euri then came back with a glass of water w/ ice and a straw. It’s those little touches that can leave good long lasting impressions. Simple to some but EFFECTIVE! Euri deserves to be acknowledged for the service she gives.

Waited 30 mins for my takeaway only to find out my order was ready ages ago but they priorise Deliveroo orders instead. Other than that, food and service is usually good. All meat halal. Nandos have raised their priced... no longer a cheeky nandos unfortunately

Don’t think I’ve ever known such amazing customer service - Kasia greets everyone with the biggest smile and a lovely morning chat. The amount of regulars who barely need to open their mouth before she asks if they want their usual blew me away! How she remembers everything and brightens everyone’s day is so wonderful x

Their lamb biryani is amazing. Having lived in Hyderabad for many years, this biryani is a close match. Flavours are consistent and on point. Portion sizes are good. The lasuni fish was one the best fried fish I have had in London. Although, the chicken lollypop could have been better. They lacked flavour and were is bit cold from inside. Will try their curries next time.
