Nando's - Baker Street in City of London, Westminster

I recently visited Nando's at Baker Street, and it was truly a fantastic experience! But what made this visit stand out was the exceptional service from one of the staff members, Laura. Laura was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about ensuring we had the best experience possible. Whether it was recommending the best sauces, checking in to see if we needed anything else, or just bringing a warm and positive vibe to the table. Huge thanks to her and the team for a wonderful meal—I’ll definitely be recommending this place.

The staff were friendly, especially Yonara and Paula, who, although they usually spoke English, made a point of speaking Portuguese with us, showing warmth and kindness. Plus, the food arrived at our table very quickly. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience at Nando’s on Baker Street! This was my first time visiting, and I was incredibly impressed by the outstanding customer service. Nayara, the assistant manager, took wonderful care of us, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the meal. Ewa, May and Veronica were also fantastic, providing excellent customer service with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Both of them made my experience truly enjoyable. Overall, the service was awesome, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Poor customer service, they don’t even know how to communicate properly. You have to figure everything out on your own. They literally gave us a join reward card and without explaining what is it for.

Our go-to for all those lazy days when we want to eat out but still want to eat wholesome. The calorie info on the menu has been very helpful in making choices. Today’s review is not for food though. It is for the excellent service that the food was served with. Laura and Sonali, truly living up to the Nandos experience, served us very warmly, making sure everything is perfect. It is the beyond great service like this that makes an ordinary meal extraordinary.

I’ve been to many nandos before, but this is my favorite. Mimi and Shanice in particular were so friendly, and had the biggest smiles on their faces.

I’ve been to many Nando’s but this has to be best for food if I’m totally honest, was very surprised by how well cooked the chicken was, very succulent and juicy not dry or overcooked at all, wil definitely return to this branch, my chips was freshly cooked and hot and the garlic bread was really nice, everything was made perfectly. Only let down is the service could be better but other than that was actually impressed by this Nando’s branch to the point I had to write this review

Staff are stressed out and lost all I did was ask for sauces and they cannot deliver that the lady on the phone today was shouting on the phone to me and then could not find my order I gave my order number numerous times then she lied and gave me another order number and promised me the sauces but in the end my order arrived with no sauces for a whole chicken. Staff are rude in general especially the lazy 2lady I love Nando’s but avoid if you are ordering from this particular Nando’s !!!! Poor service zero.

Poor Experience ever. I got robbed inside the restaurant by a homeless man from dinning table when i was having food. Less staff, so they let any trespasser come in which is not safe. I wouldn’t recommend to go there for your dinning experience as you never know if you are at the safe space or not.

Everything seemed broken (tills, drink machine, food quality) service was not the greatest, staff dont know where the tables are and wander around scatty. Empty tables not being cleaned. Manager was rude trying to argue over what she thinks a chicken breast should look like, blaming faults on halal meat: Not helpful food ended up being cold after debate with staff. Very unprofessional and poorly organised. Love a nandos but i wouldnt go back to this one. Lack of care for the business

Delicious. Good and quick service

Quiet atmosphere, good food but a little spicy. Everything is very practical, you can order via mobile phone and drinks can be refilled (if you choose). Overall, it's ok, you can eat good chicken and anyone who likes spicy is in the right place!

Was kindly hosted by an employee called Laura. She checked to see if I had received what I wanted and the food was to our liking. Very approachable, nice smile and excellent customer service. Really recommend this place

The food was very delicious! The service was gratis. We have been helped by ilyas and one of his colleagues. I did not look at her name, but she was very nice. Ilyas was very helpfull. I will definitely come again and recommend this place!

Don't normally rate fast food chains but the customer service here is beyond useless. The service team is just as clueless as the lady behind the counter. Was waiting by the entrance for 10 minutes when we were told to go to the counter only to be told after waiting 15 minutes that we had to wait by the door. Wouldn't trust them to run a bath let alone take my order. Terrible place

Asked for table, Got told to go to counter, waited 10 mins in queue at counter, got told we couldn’t order without a table. Absolutely circus. Worst Nando’s service ever. Especially since there were spare tables with dirty plates on them.

Did not have a good experience at this Nando’s. The manageress Nayala on duty and her coworker were quite hostile. There was a queue of two groups of people outside waiting as this venue claimed to have no space. The groups were both largish, around five in each group. Myself and work colleague were on our dinner break. We’re both black taxi drivers and all other Nando’s are usually able to squeeze us in as we are the customers that are using them multiple times a week when we get a break to eat. They quite rudely told us they weren’t squeezing us in, even though there were tables with no people seated. When we asked these the staff members why they were not clearing the waste off the three tables at the far end of the restaurant so guests could use them they just walked away stating you can always just get takeaway. I believe these tables were going to be cleared as soon as we’d left, and they just wanted them for the larger groups! They seem to favour accommodating groups of people rather than the few and seating them first, as they are going to spend more. I’ve made sure I’ve shared my experience of this Baker Street Nando’s on the many taxi driver WhatsApp groups I’m on so they know not to bother keeping this Nando’s in custom in the quieter lunchtime hours, as we often do with the many other Nando’s Back to the Cyprus mangal restaurant on Warwick way who do value the custom of us regulars. And whose food is top class!

I love Nando's, but I do not understand sometimes they don't have the same consistency in taste. Maybe it's just my personal experience but i felt a little disappointed that day. But overall it's nice.

Very good service and the waitresses Laura and Paula were very attentive with excellent treatment. The only thing to know is that the sides (potatoes for example) are paid separately, they are not included.

We went after spending a few hours in London with lots of walking. We were ready to sit down and have a break. When we arrived we were asked how many the table was for and it seemed quite busy. There was a lack of communication, we were just left to wait, no ‘sorry, no seats just yet, let me just get an ETA’ it was just awkward standing around. We didn’t even know if we should stay or go. However, she did come back and beckon us in. She offered to help us carry the buggy downstairs which was so appreciated. This redeemed the experience and she was super friendly in the end. Food took a little while to come out but it was really busy so it wasn’t a bother. All other interactions with staff were pleasant and the food was tasty so overall a great visit.

Visited Nando - Baker Street on the 22nd Aug and was pleasantly but not overwhelmingly surprised. On arrival to the restaurant, there was a long queue outside, which we heard was a bunch of graduate trainees at a local company. Was not pleasant listening to them moaning and criticising all the time - especially when I had kids in waiting. Once the part was escorted inwards, we stepped inside and waited at the entrance for the waiter to take us to our table. The place has two floors - an upper and lower (basement) floor. Upstairs looked chaotic, very noisy - noise from the Kitchen at the back, the customers (all the tables were full) and the music. We were told to head downstairs and was greeted by the most wonderful waiter - Laura - who escorted us to the table, made us welcome, helped us with our Order and even went beyond our expectations getting our cutlery, plates, sauces even straws for the kids. Laura constantly on the move but always came back to our table to ask whether we were okay. The only issue was a bunch of boys who came in and sat not far from us causing commotion over drinks and food and who should sit next to who. The food was okay, not the best for Nando's, it was down to the way it was prepared. The Chicken kept sliding out of the bun because there was way too much sauce. We ate it, eventually. When it was time to leave, Laura came over and helped clear the table and walk us to the stairs leading up saying hope to see you again. Thank you Laura.

My first Nando experience would have been five stars if it weren’t for an angry woman behind the counter named Pooja. Maybe she was annoyed with “another clueless American” to the rules of being seated but it just wasn’t necessary. Luckily we ordered takeaway instead bc she was gonna have us re - wait in line.. bc we ordered BEFORE being seated.. instead of getting seated and then walking up and ordering.. trivial but apparently very important to Pooja. She was rude for no reason but the rest of the staff was very kind a helpful. And the food was better than expected.

I don't know what happened but it's nothing like the last time I was there. Even though I told them I wanted absolutely no spicy food, my chicken wrap was spicy. The place was rather dirty and I found it to be rather expensive for the low quality food such as frozen chips.

Nando's Cafe is located on Baker Street. It serves halal grilled chicken. Our order was rice, chicken breast, French fries, hummus, and salad, and everything that was served was excellent.

Nandos Never disappoints! Grilled chicken was excellent and also the side dishes were nice. staff was accommodating and helpful.

One of my fav places to eat in London is nandos!.. we always have the quarter chicken platters with rice and fries and this location did a good job!.. the service was fast and the food was delicious with lots of yummy sauces to go with the chicken.

Absolutely terrible service here. No one greeted us and we had to ask about being seated before being told "okay wait here, I'll get this table cleaned for you", after waiting 10 more minutes and watching others being served ahead of us, we just left. Very disappointing and won't be returning to this location.

Always good to be at nando’s, a safe bet. Service is good, quite busy, but a decent dining space.

Delicious in all regards, the only downside is the downstairs seating, minimal airflow with no fans.

I live in America and love to go to Nandos because they a good vegetarian/vegan menu. I did take out through their website and it was indeed ready within 15 minutes, as requested. The fries don’t travel well so I do recommend getting the other sides.

Went in on Saturday to escape the heat of the sun! The staff were very friendly and patient when my nandos card wasn't working! The food was great. Got the butterfly chicken burger and it was cooked perfectly. Very charred and smokey which I love. New Mac and cheese is delicious. Great chip portion. Refillable drinks were amazing on such a hot day. Good options for vegans too and a nice atmosphere!

Hold London style, nice environment, nice service, the qcode didn't allow us to close the cart, but at the counter they had no problems taking the order, good and helpful. The boneless grilled things are excellent, the bowl of vegetables is excellent... not for the chips.

Nando’s not just Baker Street is one of my favourite restaurants in the UK. Their chicken is amazing. It’s not a fancy dining restaurant it’s more casual, but don’t underestimate the food and sauce!

Ami, is the only reason I leave this review. This lady is calm, cool & chill no matter the long queues and customer pressure She has such great personality, patience & fantastic customer care. I hope she runs a branch one day.

I had arrived with a large group shortly after they were sat downstairs. I had asked staff where the group was and if there was another seating area. The women said no but seemed to not understand me. I spoke with good English but continuously failed to understand what I’m saying. She then became really rude, disrespectful and walked out. The manager Marco wouldn’t let me make a complaint nor did he apologise. He was very dismissive of my concerns and in short terms, just told me to go away. I highly do not recommend this store to anyone.

I love Nando's in Britain, its taste and quality are much better than Jeddah We took the butterfly chicken dish with two side dishes, and we took the loaded wrap sandwich (a new dish coming out), which contains avocado with chicken, onions, sauces and something else, but I forgot to take a picture of it😅
