Nando's in Mansfield

Yes i was craving a freshly cooked peri peri chicken but thats not what i got, might have been edible with gravy and on the chips

Excellent food, excellent service nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we were made to feel very welcome, and the food was really good

Service was super quick. Food was tasty, same as you’d expect from any Nando’s. We were able to book a large table at reasonably short notice too. Service was great, friendly waiters.

This is my favourite place to eat in the centre of Mansfield. I really appreciate that the company puts the carbohydrate figures on their app as it makes it so easy for me and other type 1 diabetics to eat out! Fabulous service from Charlotte. Easy ordering system and friendly team. Food was gorgeous, as usual. Thanks for the great time!

I came in yesterday and it was a mistake 0 stars firstly my friends order was wrong and staff seemed like they hated their jobs and didn’t want to be there food came out quickly but it was so dry and the sauce did nothing it was hard to swallow it was rubbish!!!!!

So bad, we took my Mum and Dad for the Nando’s experience. It was terrible we waited 20 mins for a table which was fine then got the table and was told we’d have another 30 minute wait for food (had we have know this in the first place we wouldn’t have bothered as we were going to the cinema) 45 mins later our food arrived, all cold it had clearly been sat out a while, all garlic bread too tough to eat. Nobody came to check on us the staff were all more concerned about the pick up orders. We ate some of the food as we were all so hungry by that point and in a rush to the cinema where we had to fill up on snacks. Waste of time and money so disappointing.

Called to see if we needed to book the lady said no just come in… went in and was told had to go online to book, the online booking wouldn’t let us book and told us to go back in and speak to staff to book, tried that and was rudely rushed out the door and told we’d have to try again online. Won’t be going back

We love coming to this Nando’s, been many a time. The food is always hot and tasty! Staff are friendly and very welcoming. We have never had a bad meal at all from here. Potion sizes are generous! We will be back again soon.

We visit most weeks and always have a great time. The staff are lovely and the service is always quick and friendly. The food is delicious! One of my favourite places to go in Mansfield!!

The staff were very friendly and seated us quickly as they could see we had our 1 year old with us. He was dancing to the music before sitting him in his highchair and towards the end of our meal, one female member of staff asked if he was aloud ice cream which I said yes. She then brought over a little portion of ice cream over and said it was for being the best dancer of the day! Well she made his day and mind, simple but a very kind gesture. Things like this ho a long way with me. Thank you.

Visited on 18/1/23 for a quick family tea. My daughter was not keen on what her meal came with, mentioned this to Paul who served us and he brought out a fresh meal super quick. Will look forward to returning.

We visited with family with a table for 6 for my son’s 17th birthday. We were led to a booth with a sticky table that was so loose and wobbly you could loose your dinner on your lap . We tried to navigate through the dial up Wi-Fi to order on the app but gave up and went to the desk to place order . Food came except had to remind of a salad which came and was so limp looked like had been made day before and left uncovered in fridge so cucumber had taken on that lucid look . The boneless chicken thighs which looked like they had been taken from a chaffinch rather than chicken were over cooked and dry by a guy on the grill that had no apron and was using the same tongs to pick the raw meat out the dirty bin drawers under grill to turn and place the ‘over cooked ‘ meat on to plates 🤢👾 Very poor and falling down on basic hygiene standards. I did get a refund from management for the salad and pointed out the guy on grill should be wearing more than a t shirt , on leaving he had put a cap on 🤣🤣🤣 this leads me to believe that not only have the “cooks” not passed a basic hygiene course but management are equally clueless 🤷‍♂️

Myself and my colleagues @ ConservatoryLand come here most Fridays and the food is always amazing. Nicola who looks after us all is amazing, all the staff there are brill and would highly recommend this place as the food is so delicious. Keep up the great guys x

I go here regularly and I'm never disappointed. The chicken and variety of sauces is amazing! I always feel like I can eat out and eat healthily without it being boring. Thoroughly recommend!

Family tea also we had a £30 voucher that when we got inside was told the machine was broken. This has been broken for a few weeks as myself and my partner attended just after Christmas and it wasn’t working then. It cost us £57 the rice was burnt my daughters chicken was over cooked and burger bun hard as iron. Asked to swap them all. The bun then came back with a frozen middle. We left half the food and won’t be going back anytime soon! Avoid at all costs! Probably better off next door at the Italian. The restaurant itself didn’t even look inviting, in fact it looked closed from the outside! Sign in darkness. Staff not particularly inviting loads of young kids just stood around.

Starters were great, halloumi was cooked to perfection as sometimes find that they can be done quite badly. The chicken butterfly that I had was quite dry which was a shame but everything else was tasty and friend who had the chicken thighs enjoyed it .

Ordered my food and was ready on time staff very welcoming food was great would 100% be going back really enjoyed the food

When I got home after collected my order, there was missing one side and sauce. Food was great but very disappointed regarding missing products and can't contact them

The service was as good as the awesome food. Everyone was really helpful and pleasant especially Georgia who was the best! The kids loved her and have asked to come back every Thursday.

First visit this year and was pleasantly surprised by all COVID measures. Full 100% table service, easy to order your food through the QR code on the tables and generous sauce sachets much better than the multiple manhandled sauce bottles pre lockdown. Food was delicious.

Really impressed with this restaurant today. Really well thought out COVID precautions, spotlessly clean and really couldn’t fault it. Easy to order and pay online, lovely friendly and helpful staff. Food was usual Nando’s, quick and very tasty.

Decent Nandos, good size car park shared with the cinema, food served quick and tasty and plenty of space in the booths. As always, not as cheap as u expect it’s going to be but enjoyable.

Went to nandos for my granddaughters 18 th birthday, had a lovely meal, service very quick, our meals arrived altogether(there was 9 of us) by very friendly staff. Definitely worth a try.

The food we ordered came out fairly quickly and the on the bone chicken was better than the butterfly burger fillet as that was a bit dull and dry.

It is what it is. Where else can you feed five of you including a bottle of wine , Unlimited yoghurt and plenty of food for .... sixty pounds? We enjoyed the chicken, the chips and the macho peas. How anyone can moan about this place is beyond me. It is cheaper than a takeaway!

I ordered a take out from this restaurant on Saturday, it was very busy but the staff was very friendly. The food is amazing and is freshly made so if you have never tried it then I advise to try it.

So this was our first time in any Nando's. The pace was lovely, really really nice. Food was ok but the services was a bit poor. Young girls who didn't want to be there. All in all ok and would probably return.

We have visited Nando's a few times with it always being average, but this last time for us was disappointing. Upon arrival we were told the soft drinks were not available, then that they were working again which was good. We went to get our drinks and they tasted very odd, so I told the waitress behind the till. She seemed a little lost as in wasn't sure what to do or say, and proceeded to say it 'tastes fine to her'. I don't think I would have mentioned it if I thought it was fine!

Very much like fast food, but a great price and excellent service from the 2 young ladies serving.

Me and my husband went here recently and loved it, The chicken was cooked to perfection, my husband even got extra chips because there didnt look alot on his plate. The coleslaw was particularly nice, my husband loved the minty peas. The service was excellent, we were seated right away, ordered our food which came quite quickly. The waitress asked if our meals were ok and when we wanted a dessert she came and took our order so we didnt have to get up and order and she took our money and knocked 20% off because they werent big pieces, what more could you want. All in all a very enjoyable dinner, with great food, great service and a very pleasant setting.

We took my partner's Dad out for dinner to Nando's few weeks back. Originally we were looking at Chiquito's next door that was busier and we just wanted to be quick really.

We arrived without booking a table and was seated just after a few mins of waiting.

One star because food was good.

Nandos has always been a family fave! Yes it is glorified over priced chicken - no it’s not worth the money however what you get is always tasty although it is Russian roulette as to how well it will be cooked, maybe a bit more consistency with who operates the grill - preferably someone who doesn’t crucify it. It is exactly what you think it will be tasty and expensive you will enjoy it but regret how much you spend for what you get. Always find the toilets are disgusting - are they ever cleaned!!?! Staff not always approachable and don’t always seem to care how your food is or if you need anything always deep in their own conversations usually congregating around the till area so if you need one look there! And you will hear a lot of their conversation even if you don’t want to! Never seen it any different unless they are too busy to find the time to stand taking so in a nut shell the floor staff aren’t great! The cleanliness on tables etc is always hit and miss if they aren’t messing about, talking loudly about their personal lives they will get to the tables and take away the plates.

First time at a nandos, sat there for a while as we wernt told we had to go up to order our food, the food came ever so fast, although slightly overdone I really enjoyed it and would definatley return.

We have eaten at Nando’s in Mansfield five times since it opened. It is your standard Nando’s and I have not experienced what the reviewers who give very low ratings have experienced. The restaurant has always been clean, the staff we have encountered has been friendly and helpful. The food has always been tasty. Nando’s is not the cheapest place for a chicken burger but the £19.95 platter with a whole chicken, two standard sides and two soft drinks is excellent value for money.

I rang on the off chance they had a table for 7.30pm on a Saturday night, bearing in mind this restaurant is right next to Odeon cinema I was amazed they did!!!

Me and the Mrs ordered the chicken wrap (mild) and burger (medium)with chips with drinks £26! Quite bland chicken.

I find it incredulous that Nando's in Park Lane Leisure Park, close to the Odeon cinema and Sainsburys in Mansfield has no TA reviews written about it! I have searched but there doesn't appear to be a listing so here goes - we have one now!
