Oriental Cuisine in Mansfield

This is the 3rd time I have ordered from here and although the food is first class and just seems to get better I was left a little disappointed by the fact I did not receive my free bag of prawn crackers with my order that seems to be a little strange as the last 2 orders I did. Now in life you would not say this is a biggy but I love the prawn crackers from here and I have not found any other type like there's from anywhere else. As I say the food itself was first class but I have to single out the spare ribs in plum sauce from my last order were exceptional and the meat just fell off the bone so I tried the spare ribs in sweet and sour sauce and they were just as good as the others. I am trying at least 2 new things each time I order but am not a great fan of spicy foods but don't mind a little spice but the spicy food from here is also very nice and I fully recommend. If you have never ordered from here please please try them and I guarantee you will not be disappointed you did.

Since this place was taken over recently it has become the go to Chinese takeaway experience for us and should be visited by new and previous customers alike. The food is second to none, the new owners are lovely people and delivery drivers are very efficient and polite. Go in give it a go, you won’t regret it.

Not the one to exaggerate but I fell really ill after eating your food not sure if it was something to do with the amount of msg or spicies

This place has always been the best, always been the most expensive in the area but always been worth the extra cost. Well there has obviously been some recent changes as the last one was total rubbish, we gave it a miss for a month or two and decided today to give it another try, well another disappointment and the last time we waste nearly £30! Will be avoiding from now one

I can’t fault at all this restuarant . Ordered a delivery girl on the phone helpful and took my order for later on in the evening . Wow the driver smiley the food was red hot and plentiful and plentiful and value for money . We are two pensioners and shared a chow mein and each of our plates were full . We Thankyou for the service you gave us from start to finish . Delivery time was spot on too

First time ordering here. Got ourselves a chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice and Szechuan King Prawns. Admittedly, the fried rice was slightly too oily for preference but, the trio were amazing to eat, very filling.

Great new menu and bigger size portions .. Will not use another Chinese again .. friendly and welcoming .. very polite .. tasty food and piping hot delivery service .highly recommend

Seem to be using nut oil? Had a special curry, 2 prawns, 2 pieces of beef, not much of a curry spice. Steak and chips ,6 peas, and more salt in the gravy than in the North Sea, absolutely dissapointing! Never again !

Not good as they can short change you

Used this for over 15yrs,it's now changed hands ,prices have gone up a lot, I.E. chicken chowmain gone up £1.20, and most other items between £1-£2, food to me is not as good as it used to be but it's personal taste,

Had a leaflet for here today, so we thought we would try it... I've only got 1 word for this place an thats "wow!!" Really nice food, all come piping hot, an portions were massive, we will deffo order from here again... thanks

We usually have a take away once a week and generally it has been good. My experience today was poor, on returning home I was definitely given not what I ordered. On phoning them to discuss they were adamant that it was correct, this was not the same dish I ordered and had previously. Cantonese roast Duck in plum sauce I was looking forward to, not one with lots of pineapple and sweet ginger! The man who I was talking to would not accept a possible mistake, definitely not good customer service. Well need to use a different Chinese from now on.

I ordered chicken wings and Singapore f Rice, Rice was fine but they chicken wings where off,which give me belly ache all night.

Normally nice but today, crispy beef was soggy and tasted of vinegar , chicken chowmein had no sauce and really thin noodle , white rice over cooked and soggy, curry sauce no flavour , no egg in egg fried rice ,curry had 4-5 bit of chicken was very watery and just had soggy mushrooms and onion,Prawn crackers were hard and not edible , called and just got a sorry about that , hate to slate companies but by far the worst chinese we've ever had the displeasure of eating

Fantastic meal 21 July 2022. Had the chicken satay which was perfectly cooked with generous amounts of chicken 10/10

Didn't want to give it even one star without doubt the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted, just had garlic chicken six pieces of chicken and what must have been close to a whole onion nothing else even the rice was awful avoid this place.

Rubbish,absolutely the worst Chinese I've ever had,avoid at all costs.

Definitely recommend. Always fresh, hot, nicely prepared food.

Great local chinese. Has some good special menus. I love the meal for one. Its sweet and sour chicken, mixed vegetables, egg fried rice for less than £8. Feeds two easily.
