An utterly terrible pub completely arrogant bar staff who are beyond stuck up little wonder the place is always so empty.

No phones or other electronic devices, no dags and no kids but other than that it's a great please to go have a pint with friends and family or a game of pool 🎱

I like that it's quiet and there is a good range of beers. The prices were good and it was easy to find a table even for a big group of us.

First time I went 3 weeks ago, love the place. The no swearing and no phones rule gives it a nice atmosphere

20th July... No real ales but excellent double 4 and Taddy lager... Chatty Polish lady serving... Decent Sam Smiths pub.

It is what it is. Don't expect a lively night out.

Nice place good beer bit expensive though shame about the atmosphere no TV's no music can't use your phones no swearing rule that's probably why not too many people get in Shame!!! Sure it would do better if it was livened up somewhat!

went in as I expected no music, no TV which I don't mind stupidly asked for a drink without asking the price £4.20 for a pint of cider, I couldn't believe, it but I paid and sat in this totally silent boring pub with 4 people in, I know you can't use your phone but I had a text message so I discreetly got it out to check to be immediately pounced on by the landlady "you cant use your phone in here" So I told her to keep her beer, can't think of a worst place fir a drink the sooner it closes the better.

I've had to post this after I left due to the no mobile and tablets with in think is amazing a real old fashioned pub with no food tvs or screaming kids. A little rough round the edges but £2.30 a pint you can't go wrong

We were in there on 31st of Jan. Me and my mate had a couple of games of pool. The young lady behind the bar was very helpful. We fair enjoyed ourselves 😀

A bit rough around the edges and could do with a bit of a spruce up but what it lacks in finery it makes up for in honest ales, friendly and helpful staff and amazing prices! The pub has a policy of no mobile devices and they ask that you rely on old fashioned conversation whilst you drink - once you get used to it it's quite refreshing. They also have a pool table and a small outside space at the back. The toilets are one step up from the ones in Trainspotting and generally, along with the decor is why I have to mark it a four. It could be a dive or it could be great, it's somewhere in between.

Well . Where do I begin 🤔 Top quality beers along with top quality staff ( watch the one with the knee length socks and short skirt on ) shes wild 😉 usually free of idiots. No music which Is what's important for a guy of my age (21) and a pool table to attract the local Ronnie o Sullivans ( Hi Tony )😊 Dart board too and top quality punters . Carlsberg don't do boozers but if they did ............👌

Great choice for a pre match beer before football. This is 2nd visit to this pub as got recommend by a fan of another club. Not too Far from ground plus close to train station. As for prices they were great drank Taddy Lager as have drank this in other pubs before. Recommend to any football fan who goes to watch there team play Mansfield.

Si estás harto de las cervezas habituales en Mansfield, entonces prueba este sitio. Smiths sam hacer excelentes cervezas y la mayoría son de fuerza decente. Por el precio. . . . . . barato! £2. 20 en 4. lager taddy 5%. . Una gran pinta.. Hay también una gran variedad de cervezas para probar. Sí, el pub necesitan una reforma y espero que viene si utilizan los lugareños este pub más y hace dinero. Mansfield es una urgente necesidad de pubs mejor, así que usar o perder. Travelled to Mansfield to watch football. Was recommended this pub as fairly close to the stadium. Like Samuel Smith pubs as have been in both Bristol's and Newport's . Great pub with good choice of drink even sell Taddy Lager which is worth the visit on its own. Good place to sit and have a few drinks with friends if you happen to me in Mansfield.

This is the latest pub to be re-opened by Sam's, one of those purchased 2/3 years ago from the defunct Barnsley brewery / Oakwell Brewery setup. The interior dates from the time of closure, as yet there has been no makeover, just a good clean. The manager and his wife are from London and are new to the brewery. All the beers are keg, no hand pull, no Pure Brew but Light Mild for some reason. Interior is ok but dated, no doubt some level of renovation to come. Toilets are clean but look like last face-lifted in around 1974. Decent pint of O.B, not tried any other. No food as yet, early days, only open about 5 weeks, no doubt food will be on offer. Reasonable place to have a drink, especially if a fan of Sam's products.
