Well after ordering my food and specifically ordered at the till and told the manager with the pigtails I was gluten intolerant. She proceeded to cook my meal herself for intolerance purposes. Our food came and mine had a stick in it with intolerant in. Just as I began to tuck into my chicken she came and said sorry there’s been a mixup. She took my food away. I watched her and she took it straight to the kitchen and took my stick out and placed it into another lump of already cooked chicken. When she came back I felt the kitchen staff constantly looking at me. I no 💯 this was not cooked separately to others. My chips also were exactly the same as my wife’s. So be aware guys with intolerance issues. I immediately refused. (Cramlington Nando’s. 29/10/2023

Swimming in grease, small portions and the half chicken was tough to fill from the bone?!! Undercooked!

An average Nandos experience. Salad wasn’t very fresh. Rest of the food was just ok we weren’t bowled over by anything. Was very busy lots of tables no cleaned up after people had left. Staff seemed ok but we o lot saw them for a few seconds as we ordered at the table. It filled a hole.

We come here with our 3 year old and what i can i say first impressions count. As soon as we arrived a member of staff come straight over to show us to our seats. She was smiley, chatty, warm and welcoming and asked us about our day, she was great with our daughter, giving her a colouring in book and just chatting away to her too. Her customer service was just of a high level, we come in on the 25th of july around 18:30, so if Nandos read this i would love for her to be rewarded in some way, as staff like her arent often seen. The food was lovely and we never waited very long for it, which is a blessing when you have a 3 year old. We will defo be back!.

Bad choice by son. None of us had ever been. Been to 7 oaks next door a few times. Aiming for better. Chicken burger with beer and rainbow salad with peri fries. Warm beer. Awful food. Make better chicken at home so what’s the point! Stale bun. Salad passed its best. Fries greasiest ever. Hardly ate it. Son finished off fries. £52 for 3 meals. Complete rip off for cheap food with no taste. Didn’t tell staff. Just not returning! Starving now!

Had the misfortune of eating here. Food was terrible. (Rolls hard and inedible, chicken tepid) order was wrong and despite asking two different servers on three different occasions to replace one of the soft drinks this wasn't done. Very poor experience.

Ordered for a takeaway today. Always brilliant and quick. Food is always hot and staff friendly when picking up. Will come back.

The till system wasn’t working properly so took a little time to process our order, shelliah was new but was excellent on the till making sure our order was right and got the manager to sort the till issue. He was also very helpful and friendly. We will be back!

Glad to be able to make visits back to Nandos after Lockdown. I love the Mushroom and Halloumi but sadly it no longer seems to be available in a wrap – the pitta is delicious but a bit cumbersome to eat. Spicy rice and hummus as sides which were great - look forward to a return visit.

Went on a Sunday evening as a family of 4. Comfortable booth table was available, very clean and friendly staff. Food was really good, sunset burger was my favourite. Kid’s loved their food. Thanks for the excellent service

I am writing to your organisation as I would like to make a formal complaint about the cleanliness, some of the staff members general attitudes and the quality of the food that I experienced at your Cramington in Northumberland branch of Nando’s. We arrived on Sunday 1st of May, this was our first visit to this particular branch. We had been greeted at the door by a member of staff, her attitude and general demeanour was rather miserable, she shown us to the table and we sat down and ordered food via the online process. This was the best part about it, the online ordering process was effortless and easy to use. Another member of staff who was much more pleasant gave us our glasses, my glass had lipstick marks on it so we asked for another one, again this was dirty so asked for another. The 3rd glass was clean. We then went over to the self service area to collect the cutlery, to my astonishment most of the knives were also either marked or dirty, I resorted to cleaning it myself. Our meals arrived very quickly, my chicken breast was chewy and probably the worst Ive had at a Nando’s. We then decided to have a dessert, again I went over to the self service area to get a 2 spoons. When I looked in the tub I immediately seen 2 spoons that had obviously been used and put back with ice cream on them, the rest were dirty out of the 10 spoons left. I went over to the tills and waitress for a member of staff to ask for 2 clean spoons, I told her what I found and she didn’t seem bothered or offer an apology, just uninterested. The other point I would like to make is the restrooms, especially the toilets they weren’t clean either, you can clearly see dried splashes of bodily fluids on the wall, totally unacceptable. What makes this all so more alarming for me is the fact we’ve just went through a pandemic and it seems the attitude to hygiene in this branch of Nando’s in particular is well below the standards it should be, this coupled with certain members of staff not caring, being uninterested and poor behaviours, is appalling. I’m not sure what is going on in the branch, as it looks like they only employ white women, I think there equal opportunities needs to be looked at also I think it would be very beneficial for the Nando’s brand, that someone from senior management to investigate further and maybe do a spot check in person unannounced.

Nice place to eat with freinds or family. Cinema near by and food and service was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Not a great visit.Arrived just after opening, as we were going on somewhere else. Went to counter to order. Lady in front having trouble with her gift voucher. 3 staff members trying to sort it. Not one looked at me and acknowledged my presence. After a while I asked if maybe someone could take our order as we were on a time limit. It was done. But why oh why is customer service so lacking these days? Can’t anyone use their common sense and be aware of what’s going on? Meals arrived promptly and were what you’d expect from this eatery. Had to ask twice for my water and then again for a glass. They didn’t seem to have pride in their work and there was certainly no direction from the manager.

Got a voucher for here for Christmas and decided to use on a mid week visit. We were greeted by a young blonde girl, possibly the Boss as she wasn't wearing the standard uniform and she politely showed us to our table. She also took our drinks order which arrived quickly and when I went to order food she also took that order too. A short wait and delicious plates of hot food arrived. The only slight gripe was that it felt cold inside so I had to sit with my coat on most of the time but it was freezing outside so...overall we both really enjoyed our food and drinks but the most memorable aspect was the top notch service from the blonde girl. We will definitely be back for another Nando's...

After visiting this fine establishment I concur that this is a fantastic area for an exquisite dining experience. Truly magnificent!

Have visted twice within the past month having never been before. Service quick, ideal if you are going to see a movie and in a hurry, staff friendly and efficient. On both visits I have tried different variations of the chicken burgers on offer and both were very tasty with lots of meat. Portion sizes for the side were very good. Desserts very tasty, I recommend the chocolate brownie. The bottomless drinks are a great idea too. Very affordable and a nice quiet place to visit on weekday evenings. I would return.

My wife and I went to the Cramlington Nando's on bank holiday Monday. Yes I know it's a chain but the food quality was good and the staff exceptional. What more can I say. It's worth a try.

Well what can I say?! Confusing menu with little choice. Expensive. Crispy chicken was more like soggy cardboard; flavourless and chewy. The Portuguese roll had seen better days. Your rice; did you get a sell off special when Safeway was closing down? It is cheap and nasty; tastes just like cheap packet rice. Your coleslaw is like smart price coleslaw with added dried herbs. Why people rave about this I'll never know! Wetherspoons half piri piri chicken is so much nicer than nandos who 'specialise' in chicken!! I wouldn't waste my money again.

First time in a nandos and wouldn't rush back. Chicken very dry and sides not much flavour I did enjoy the olives with garlic but not impressed with rest.

Came along with my boyfriend for something to eat was getting very late but the staff welcomed us regardless of the time getting on abit, we ordered our food but after sitting we decided to change to having our order to take away instead the staff were so helpful & bagged it all up for us to take home excellent service, the food was delicious once we got in would definitely recommend thanks again !

I think this chain is for some reason very popular amongst the younger generation.Its not for us.Our son took us here for Tea one evening and we had Chicken LOL...Mind you it was very very tasty,staff were pleasant nice and spacious layout,very relaxed atmosphere..We weren't paying, but I think its pretty expensive for "Chicken"...

Been numerous of times to Nando’s Cramligton, had many pleasant times there! HOWEVER today’s service, staff lovely and sorted the issue yet the food was poor. A friend of mine ordered a medium flavoured grilled burger first time it came with cheese and extra hot!

My wife and I visited this place for the first time tonight, in a nutshell:- Service ✔️ Food quality ✔️ Food quantity ✔️ Atmosphere ✔️ Value for money ✔️ No complaints whatsoever & full belly’s on a cold winters night!!

Love this place! The restaurant has always been clean and tidy when I have visited, it is my favourite place to eat. The staff are friendly and professional and very attentive. There is always something new on the menu and the price you pay is for quality and service. I would recommend this venue for families, couples and parties.

Outrageous. I'm not a prolific blogger but this really got me upset. I came here for a quick meal with friends and I've now been waiting an hour and still haven't received my bait. Eventually.. after an hour & 13mins we received our food, my friends chicken wrap was cold, that might aswel of came with a wooly hat on it was that cold. He was really angry and I'm not surprised. Were they still chasing the chickens maybe even breeding them before serving? To top things off they had no clean knives & forks on display. I will not be going back that's for sure.

Teenage daughter wanted to come to Nandos so we decided to take the trip to this one next to Vue cinema with plenty of free parking.

Restaurant itself was nice and we enjoyed the food however short staffed (with the manager on the till at times) and too many things that i had to get a member of staff to resolve.

I used to hate Nando's... oh how I was misguided in my youth! Since that fateful first visit I have been to many branches from Edinburgh to London and I have to say that this is one of the best. Always quick to be seated and quick to bring the food. It doesn't sit under the lamps waiting for ages which is a particular issue of mine when you can see food ready but no one brings it. Doesn't happen here. Fast and efficient.

Called in with my husband and daughter after work. Hardly anyone in but we waited 33 minutes for our order,my chicken was awful,hard at the edges and not up to the usual quality. I have been to other Nando's and they are good,this was the worst I have had,left most of the chicken. Paid nearly £40 for 3 people and wasn't worth half of that. So disappointed. Won't be back.

First time at Nando's I had heard great things about this Portuguese themed restaurant, we were not disappointed. Loads of choice, packed with flavour and fast efficient service.

We are regular customers of Nando's and this is by far the worst visit I've had, we were the first customers in and tables and floors were all dirty, the restaurant had a strange smell. The chicken was solid and dry, potato wedges were burnt to a crisp and no feta on my quinoa salad. Customer service was poor nobody checked up on us while we were eating until after we had finished our food and there was a girl in the kitchen near the food with her hair down and no cap on. Really disappointed and won't be returning to this Nando's.

Popped into our local Nando's for food yesterday evening, and we weren't disappointed.

Okay so where do I begin? My family and I visited this establishment for my sister's birthday, thinking the reputable brand of Nandos would be a reliable choice and we couldn't go wrong... You will come to realise how bad our decision was!!

Called in on Sunday for lunch and we were greeted by friendly staff and management. We were shown to our table and ordered the sharing platter. We just wanted iced water to drink so we're given two small glasses to fill up at the serving station. We picked our sauces and cutlery up and sat down. The food arrived promptly and was quickly demolished. Very tasty! My partner was up on numerous occasions to refill our warer so larger glasses would be appreciated. Overall very good. Excellent staff and clean restaurant. Thanks.

Absolutely disgusting sharing platter consisted of four boneless chick thighs chips and corn on the cob never been so disappointed ever only gave it one star because wouldn't all me to give it zero

Sitting in Cramlington Nandos waiting for our food and the staff couldn't have been more helpful so far. It's really busy but a lovely waitress called Kyra went out of her way to give our very fussy son an opportunity try something new without having to commit to getting a whole dish of something he wouldn't like.

Our kids had never tried Nando's so we brought them here as a treat. It's a nice restaurant and we got a big table by the window.

I'm very disappointed after having dropped a cake off for my son this afternoon knowing that he was eating here this evening to celebrate his birthday. As with every other restaurant Ive ever been to I expected that they would put the cake on a plate, put some candles in, maybe even sing happy birthday but at least make a bit of a fuss over him but no....the cake was dumped at his table, still in its box, no candles, not even any cutlery to cut it up with or plates. I personally think the food is over rated and I refuse to pay those prices for chicken which is simply marinated and cooked - I can buy 2 whole chickens for the same price and do an equally good job by myself

Brilliant service here - nothing was too much trouble. We forgot to order a burger for one of us and the manager went away and got it made quickly and then gave us it on the house! All the other staff were nice too - giving us a choice of tables, checking that we were enjoying our food etc. We aren't from this area but would definitely go back if we could and would recommend it to anyone!

Phoned to book a table of 15 and the manager was extremely helpful. Arrived and great service. One of the party was gluten intolerant and the manager couldn't have done enough for the group. Best chicken in any Nando's by far! Manager was called Lensy and was amazing!!

Really impressed with the new Nando's in Cramlington. Despite the Manor Walks car park being packed, surprisingly the restaurant was fairly quiet. Within an airy and modern restaurant we experienced quick service and the food fantastic too!

We took my parents for their first Nandos and they loved it! Lovely bright and funky restaurant. Food was tasty, plentiful, served hot and promptly. Staff were genuinely friendly and we all enjoyed our visit.

You know what to expect at Nando's. Reasonable food at a reasonable price. Visited on a Friday lunchtime and it was fairly busy, service not the quickest but acceptable.

Went for lunch and the staff were all really friendly, the food was delicious and the restaurant was clean and tidy. Portions could do with being slightly larger.....but all in all a lovely meal

Enjoyed the meal as per. Even better because it was cooked fresh. We arrived at 20:10, and the restaurant wasn't due to close until 22:00. As we placed our order, the chef in the back said loudly "I wish people would stop ordering, I want to go come". It was so rude, the cashier was embarrassed and apologised for her. Uncomfortable.

Recently opened in Cramlington, we visited with the family during the weekend for lunch. The usual Nando's formula which just works. The children were delighted with the peri-peri chicken and peri-salted chips and their requested "refillable" soft drinks. I thought service may be hit & miss with this being a new outlet opening only in the last month or so but it was excellent. A Nando's north of Newcastle is long overdue for those in Northumberland, great decision to open a branch in Cramlington. We'll be back for sure.
