Nando's in Elmbridge

Small but nice place to eat food. Waiting times were average but i expect that from a Nandos. Staff were pleasant and overall a good place to eat in the evening. Located on main road on other side of the highstreet. Decent place but prices are now getting to high and starting to consider if it is worth the price.

Well located in a row of restaurants in Walton-on-Thames. Interior has been refurbished since our last visit and is much more one and spacious. Drinks have become somewhat expensive but the food quality as we have come to expect was excellent. We had chicken wings (seemed smaller than before) and hot peri-peri chicken. Excellent meal and an enjoyable early supper.

I visited Nando's recently with my boyfriend, and I have to say, the service was appalling. From the moment our server, Ruby, approached our table, her behavior was completely unprofessional. She blatantly ignored me and directed all her attention to my boyfriend, going out of her way to flirt with him right in front of me. It was as if I wasn’t even there – she didn’t address me once, not even when I tried to order. She only spoke to him, smiling and laughing excessively, and completely dismissing my presence. I’ve never experienced such disrespectful service before. Dining out is supposed to be enjoyable, but Ruby’s behavior left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. Nando's really needs to train their staff (or maybe just ruby) on professionalism and customer respect. Definitely not what I expected, and it has put me off returning.

The best Nando’s we have ever gone to . The staff are so friendly and David is amazing!! Every Nando’s needs a David. The kids adored him and he couldn’t have done more for us. The staff. , fresh food and how clean this Nando’s is makes a huge difference .

It’s easy to dismiss Nandos as just another chain restaurant. However, the Walton on Thames restaurant is testament to how staff can make a difference. It has just had a much needed refit. However, the manager was a great guy - friendly , welcoming and professional, as was the young lad who took our order. However, no review of Walton on Thames Nandos would be complete without a mention of the hugely entertaining, and all round great guy, David Amato, a man who genuinely loves his job, the company he works for and the customers he serves. We all need a David in our lives.

Great meal as usual with an easy ordering process and fast service as we have become used to. Our waiter David was especially good.

Terrible service. Collected an order and was missing item. Complained to the customer service as well as online via twitter. Nothing was done

David - made the night he was absolutely amazing, attentive and very thoughtful of my elderly parents. A great personality and an asset to Nando’s. Good piping hot food.

Great food in the usual quick nandos style. Newbie on tills did well and had a great welcome for us. Nice new interior feels much lighter, more social and open. They were all buzzing and represent nandos very well in our opinion. A lovely bunch of motivated and friendly staff. Well done!

Great meal today for lunch, never had such good food, and the service was great!!! Definietly coming again

Came out for dinner with my friend and knew this would be the perfect spot as I have been many times before and it has never let me down. Service was quick, easy and the staff are all polite. The food was cooked perfectly and I ate every single last crumb. The Nando's chicken thighs are second to none.

We enjoyed the time there, staff was very friendly and chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. Will go again

I came here last week after a bad experience next-door at GBK. We got take out and was very impressed by the professionalism of the staff and the food was top standard. I have been here many a time and the service has always been on point busy and with a fantastic atmosphere

We popped in yesterday around 5.30 after the cinema and glad we did. Haven’t been to a Nando’s in years and the food was tasty, service quick and staff pleasant. Will def be back

Visited today with my parents since visited a year or 2 ago and had a great time.Today was not the same, was given a table and some menus with nothing said and then left their. Eventually we came up and ordered (which is fine but maybe tell us that's how you do things) glasses and cutlery were sprinkled on the table which made us feel even less welcome. Starters came (2 halloumi fries) which went down well.Then our mains arrived and our starters plates were just left their. Waited for a check back to tell them one of my sides was missing but that never came so had to come up and collect that which was servered in it's take away container. Food was exactly what we expected and is a fair price for what we got, credit to the chefs.Finished, no one asked how our food was as expected but rushed over as soon as we left (either to clear the table finally or more likely hoping for a tip)Service has really slipped and won't feel so guilty about leaving it so long next time.

Working at the studios in Shepperton, Nando's in Walton-on-Thames is more or less around the corner (if you don't want to do Barley's Mow). Take-away usually works quite well, although you should check the bag you're handed (most service crafts will ask you to do anyway), it's often that over-hectic that something might be missing. Since most of the people working there go out of their way to "make it right", just try to be nice and you get a friendly smile in return.I am saying this for a reason ... Quite often I witness guests being rude to service people or other guests, I have the highest respect for the young ladies (and few guys) working there.Food is good for the price (keep in mind that this is still London-ish, so expect to pay slightly more for a full meal than you would, e.g., on the continent :) ) - salads are actually really worth their money. Although this is a "chicken restaurant" focusing on ... well ... erm ... chicken, you have some (limited) choice on the menu. The "Veggie Cataplana" is my favorite - being German I simply prefer a bit more "material" on the dish than most of the "mains" or "pita" or whatever :-)Service: As mentioned above, most staff members are doing their best and succeeding. There are "hick-ups" at times - when we visited last, we were directed to a table number only to learn that the table had been taken for quite some time, so we had to re-order our meals at the service desk to be brought to a different table (that we chose ourselves, probably creating yet another chain reaction chaos later). Eating-in: It's just way too loud. It is SO LOUD that you have to raise your own volume over pain-threshold, adding to the mix. If you're fine with this "atmosphere": Go for it.

So happy to have we are out of area and we purposely came again. Nandos is so convenient for us, however we chose to sit in and had a fab time.

It was the first time me and my husband had visited a Nando's, being a vegetarian myself I didn't think there would be anything I could have but I was wrong!The staff member who seated us explained how it worked as it was our first time and we were able to both find things to suit our needs/tastes. The lady behind the till and the server were both super helpful and welcoming, top notch service.The food, sauces and drinks were great. The decor was impeccable and had real atmosphere and the music was just loud enough to give atmos without being too loud to talk.All together a great lunch, will be back if we are out that way again.

It was very quiet when we ate so service was quick and waiting staff are pleasant and friendly. The food was typical nandos and very good.

We always usually collect a Nandos because it's so convenient for us, however we chose to sit in and had a fab time. Service was fast and staff were friendly. Most importantly they were happy to cater for my food allergies and the food was lush.

So happy to have David as our host again, we are out of area and we purposely came again to have some lunch and hoped to see him, so friendly and helpful he goes so out of his way to make sure everyone is happy and all his under him also seem happy and are very helpful and friendly- Because of this it’s our favourite Nando’s and we will be back! Thanks

Busy, noisy and crowded but that is what Nando is about, we needed a quick takeaway and this was closest. cant say that I would bother again, screaming kids and teenagers are not my thing anymore, thank god!

Love my Nandos fix now and again.This restaurant usually delivers but on this occasion the critique in me was let down on some basics.Service is friendly in the busy atmosphere.I guess this was a busy night and we had to wait for 5-10mins.The restaurant was busy with sit down guests and takeaways.We got seated soon enough and the tables could be better cleaned,but will put this down to a busy shift.Couple of things that irked me were the salad we ordered was pulled out of bags with bare hands and dished out.Garlic bread was heated on the grill and then left on the counter for sometime before it reached our table.Our chicken was waiting on the counter for a few mins before it reached us.The chicken was still good enough,but the garlic bread was cold and the salad approach a downside with regards to hygiene.Overall it was still a decent meal,but the couple of issues addressed needs improvement.

Portuguese/African style dishes with many original flavours that can be as hot as you like. The staff make it fun; always smiling and focused on delivering a really good night out. Highly recommended.

I haven't been to Nando's for some time. It is very noisy and the furnishings and decorations are very tired, and mucky. Great when it was opened but not anymore.

No he ido a Nando's por un tiempo, pero tenía un vale para un 1 / 4 pollo de una botella de salsa de nando a un supermercado. Me dijeron que podría haber tenido lugar un entrante, pero optamos por el pollo con arroz picante y una mazorca de maíz. Encargué un vaso de rosas y un pastel de flan de nata (di tarta Portuguesa). Vi que el menú tenía mucha más platos que solía y mucho más, incluyendo postres de queso. Tengo que admitir que el pollo era más pequeña de lo que recuerdo, pero fue suficiente. Me pareció que el personal me equivoco para pueden tener un misterio ya que era el más antiguo de unos 20 años como unas cuantas personal me preguntó si "todo estaba bien". No mencionar el pequeño pollo y me ofrecieron un reemplazo que me negué. Buen ambiente y personal muy servicial.
