Nando’s seem to have done away with any garnishing in their pittas. Had a chicken pitta which was basically the chicken and the bread. When queried with staff they said they all come like this. Wife’s bean meal was absolutely disgusting as well.

Having never been to nandos before, I was surprised to be greeted with "we are cash only at the tills, you have to order using QR code at your table" and no other instructions. The menu I was given was covered in sticky sauce and filthy. After QR code failing several times and asking for help, the response was particularly rude and left us feeling like the server felt we were stupid. We then asked to pay with cash and the server walked off and left us sitting their having no idea what to. After asking another server for help, she informed us we had to go to the till but wasn't very helpful either. After 20 minutes of wasted time, we left as the server just smiled smugly. An absolutely awful experience. I have never been to nandos before and I would never ever go back. The servers definitely need training in customer service as there was not any.

Toilets were some of the worst I’ve seen in a restaurant in a long time: overflowing sanitary bins and grime on the floors. The cleanliness of the restaurant seating area and the self-serve counter (for cutlery and sauces) was a poor standard. Areas needed wiping and a more attention to detail and cleanliness was in order. Service was ok but part of our drinks order was forgotten - an easy mistake, no big deal. Then when we spilt a drink there was very little help in clearing it up even though a member of staff delivered food to the table just as it happened. We were left wiping the table with just napkins — nowhere to dispose of them — and with a sticky puddle of cola at our feet. A real shame as we’ve loved other Nando’s that we’ve been to. To top it off, all the responses to the reviews left on Google are pretty much identical. Lo and behold, when the response arrived to my Google review it was the word-for-word bot creation as well. Really poor customer relations, Nando’s. You should be personally asking reviewers for further details and then offering compensation.

Extremely poor, service was slow, restaurant was dirty, chicken was dry with broccoli extremely hard and undercooked. Cutlery was dirty and not enough for family. Toilet facilities were appalling, broken, dirty, unhygienic and certainly not cleaned all day

Had not been to this Nando's before. Regret going there. Tables were jam packed ~12" apart. We thought we had a decent gap, but after we ordered they filled the next table. Omicron, they don't care.Food: the chicken was slimy and grisly. The Pitta was rubbery (probably been microwaved). The chips were good, if that is all you want.

We visited for a meal pre cinema. Nandos is not normally somewhere I would choose but the food is reasonably priced and the service was quite good. We did have an issue with our table number as it could have been a 6 or a 9 and we got the wrong number so the whole time we kept getting offered the other table's food. The staff forgot my drink but gave me a free one to compensate. The food was good. So we would go again.

First visit since August eat out to help out, staff extremely friendly, food was pukka as usual. Was very clean, really nicely spaced out, good portions ect, only downside which wasn't really anyone's fault was the ordering, the lack of phone signal ment it wasnt easy to order online and waiting for codes to be sent through, but ordering aside it was a great meal :)

We had our meal delivered by deliveroo . It was cold , the mash was still frozen in the middle. Our chicken in 2 of the wraps was very chewy and tasted very gamey. A few items were missing and the lettuce was dirty. Not a good experience and I feel quite ill even thinking about it.

Se siente como si tuvieran un equipo realmente pobre que no está acostumbrado al servicio de mesa y no puede manejar lo que fue un servicio de almuerzo realmente tranquilo (esto fue un lunes por la tarde)En tercer y último lugar, la comida, que fue la mejor parte de la visita, todavía no era muy buena. Queríamos probar su gran pollo vegetal imitador, que estaba bien, pero la tienda de Bok de al lado tiene una mucho mejor (el servicio es mucho mejor allí mientras estamos en eso) los lados realmente decepcionaron todo. Las patatas fritas estaban frías y empapadas, la ensalada de col parecía y sabía como si hubiera estado fuera de la nevera durante unas horas. Y el arroz es como un paquete de microondas del tío bens. Resumimos la calidad de Weathersooons al doble del precio.

First time in any Nandos, was quite busy! Husband and I had a boneless sharing platter...with chips ,salad, and corn on the cob.....was ok, but was not very hot especially the chips! Not sure I would go again, thought it was expensive for what you get!!!

I love the idea in having a branch of Nando’s in Eastbourne as I am a regular Nando’s visitor. The place in Eastbourne is friendly . Excellent customer service also spoiled for choice . Definitely a place for family gathering or a friends meeting. A place to pop in for a meal after a shopping or even after or before a cinema.

Chose to eat here as my 1st experience was so good.! This time was a disaster! Dozens of plates on the "pass" from the kitchen. Staff wandering around doing nothing. Occasionally one plate of food would dissappear. The table next to us was polished 3 times!!! But the waiteress never thought to collect orrders and deliver them. Finally after 35 minutes of waiting the food finally arrived.! Piping hot chips and yes! You guessed it - - stone cold chicken. Would normally asked for a replacement but Cinema was booked. This is a double shame - when you know they are capable of doing better.

Nandos has been in UK since 1992.Although they serve Portuguese food, this big chain originates from South Africa.They started off in West London as a takeaway and began to pop up as a restaurant everywhere in 2013.You can now find Nandos in most modern gentrified malls, even at old fashioned Eastbourne which got a makeover.Decided to try the Eastbourne branch so I could compare it to London.Went there on a weekend evening around 7 before the dinner rush.Ordered and waited for the food to arrive.The wait was forever compared to London.We could see lot of meals were ready at the counter but no one had time or were too busy to bring them over to the diners.Apart from the wait, food was good with the usual choice of sauces at the bar.The menu offers more healthy choices than before like vegetables and vegan milk.For children they also offer Chilly Billy lollies as a dessert treat on the kids menu.

Went to try this new restaurant no welcome from any member of staff. No menus on the table no explanation that ordering needed to be done at the bar at least have one host explaining how it works. We sat down at a table looked at the menu and couldn't believe the high prices for a bit of chicken. No draught beer and a average bottle of wine costing £18. We decided not to bother and left and guess what no one even acknowledged that. Gave a 2/5 as we couldn't rate his good or bad the food is. Needs a lot of improvement and for a new restaurant only about four tables being used.

I recently visited the new nandos in Eastbourne after being hesitant after a friends not so pleasant visit. It was a Wednesday evening so wasn’t expecting it to be so busy, I was waiting in a line outside but was apologised by the host who made us feel welcome from the moment we entered until we left his name was either joe or josh. He not only made us feel super welcome he was clear with explaining how everything worked and talked us through the menu and how the restaurant worked and nothing was too much trouble for him. He also offered my children colouring whilst waiting as he could see they was getting agitated which My wife was super impressed with as not many restaurant staff would do the same. The food was quick and super tasty, the restaurant was clean and well organised and the staff could of not been more helpful. Even being so busy everyone was happy and the team seemed to not look stressed at all! Amazing service and will be back. Thanks for the good experience and keep up the good work!!!!!

Good quality food with simple menu. You pay in advance and then they bring the food to your table. Comfortable restaurant apart from the main door always being open. In the winter the cold will make any table near the entrance uncomfortable.

Nando’s have a good offering blending fast food and good service. The customer takes on part of the process and in turn gets good healthy fast food at a good price. The environment is more mid price restaurant than fast food. Staff are friendly and efficient and well trained in a new branch.

We’ve visited this restaurant quite a few times since it opened and have never experienced any issues. The service is great! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The waiting time is not too long for tables or the delivery of food. The restaurant is kept clean, the staff are always busy.

we had a booking for the cinema and an hour to spare so thought we would try Nando's. never been before. refreshing business model makes everything quicker, your seated, your order and pay, you get your food they check on you and go when your done, no waiting around for service. we were seated straight away, the food was good, kids enjoyed there selection, the mango frozen yogurt was a unexpected treat! wasn't as expensive as i thought it was going to be, will be going again!

Visited Nando’s for the first time today. It was about 1.30 and very busy but as only 2 of us was easier to get a table. Ordering and paying giving your table number at the till was a very good system. I had the chicken in a pitta with chips and sweetcorn. I really enjoyed it and could swap the sun dried tomatoes in pitta for fresh lettuce and tomatoes when ordering. At the back you helped yourself to sauces etc. The medium peri peri sauce was good and next time I visit am confident to order a hotter spice chicken. The waitress was very friendly and checked how I liked my first taste of Nando’s.

We popped in today for dinner , great service , the food came out quickly and the place is nice and clean . I’m not a nandos fan but the rest of the family are so I was out voted , I was a bit shocked to find out that the emergancy service discount was 20% off 1 meal and not the bill ( which was what I was expecting ) everyone still enjoyed their food .

Staff were helpful and the restaurant looks very nice. We ordered the new watermelon and feta salad and added chicken with mango/lime dressing. We got a plate of spinach with a bit of cucumber, 3 olives and a tiny sprinkle of feta on the watermelon! The chicken piece was also tiny!! Very disappointed and left feeling very hungry. If you want to charge £10.55 for a salad you should really put a bit more into it. Very poor value and I will not be recommending or visiting again.

Visited yesterday with my family. Now we have never been to nando's before so we were sat for a while before we realised we needed to order at the desk as it wasnt explained. We didn't wait for long and we generally enjoyed our food but our chips were only just warm. I'm not going to write it off yet but they need to step it up a little.

After a late finish at the cinema we had to change busses at Eastbourne, we decided to get some dinner in Nando’s, when we got there it wasn’t very busy and we was seated immediately. The problems started after we ordered our food and was waiting for a very very long time for our food, there was people who had got in AFTER us and had their food long before us, we was actually watching food that was being left on the side for over 30 mins before being taken to customers, I had to go to the till and ask how long our food would be as we had been waiting for 45 mins. When the food did arrive the chicken was only warm and not hot, the sides where also going cold and you could tell they had been left on the side for a long time, the rice I had was actually burnt at the bottom, I was very unhappy to eat here and probably will not return.

On it's opening day I took my wife, daughter, son-in-law and four year old twin granddaughters to Nando's new restaurant on the upper level of The Beacon Centre, (formerly The Arndale),in Eastbourne for lunch. The place was heaving and, as there were six of us, we were warned that there would be around a half hour wait for a table. We were happy with this, and were able to buy coffees & other drinks to enjoy whilst we waited. Menus that I requested were provided & the time was very usefully spent deciding on our order. We were seated within the half hour anticipated and were then treated to very pleasant & efficient delivery of our order. As soon as we were seated my granddaughters were given crayons & a booklet of pictures & puzzles. A very well prepared item I must say.

Good food and overall good value. However, l don't like the open plan layout. A bit like a school canteen. Will you tell the service staff to stop touching their hair and faces during service. It is really is unhygienic and off-putting.

We decided to be brave and venture out for lunch. It’s never easy for us as a family as our little one has type 1 and coeliac disease. After asking for help from staff to choose something suitable for her, the manager came over with loads of information. He then told us he would cook our daughters food himself so he knew it wouldn’t be cross contaminated. It was easy for us and our little one loved it. We were amazed by how helpful the manager was and how much time he spent on making sure the food was perfect for her to eat. Amazing! Can’t thank him enough! We will definitely be back! Xx

This was our 2nd visit, the first being on the first Saturday they opened. The first time although extremely busy with queues out the door we got seen relatively quickly and the food arrived with the same speed and efficiency. This time what a contrast. Went at 7pm so anticipated a wait and after a 30 min we got our table. From ordering our food it took another 45 minutes before it arrived. It was lukewarm to cold so can only think it had been sitting on the side waiting to be brought out. I was able to see the food counter from where I was and there was someones burger sat there for over 30 mins. There was only one waitress serving for the majority of time we were there and she was understandably stressed. I don’t know whether in the space of 3 weeks they’ve already lost staff but they need to sort it out quick before the other restaurants open up and take their custom away.

My nieces and nephews asked we have dinner at Nando's Eastbourne before a visit to the cinema last night. We parked in the shopping centers carpark which was empty at 7pm on a Wednesday and only cost £2 for the duration of our visit. Upon arriving at the restaurant there was a short wait to be seated and we were then told how the ordering system works. We placed our orders at the counter and waited about 15 minutes for the food to arrive. The food was nice, hot and very tasty. The hottest dish we had between us was a medium which was just about right for us. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the restaurant was fresh and new. We are really looking forward to a return visit to try other dishes on the menu.

Es interesante ver tan pocas reseñas y todas bastante recientes, ya que este lugar ha estado abierto desde hace bastante tiempo, al menos durante algunos años. . . hmm Otros sitios de revisión tienen un conjunto más completo de revisiones. De todos modos, la porción no podía hablar inglés, lo que dificultaba los pedidos, las piezas de pollo y las alas estaban muy secas y duras, como si hubieran pasado demasiado tiempo debajo de las lámparas de la caldera y el interior en general se hubiera golpeado y caído. Aunque estaba limpio. Lo que es más, el revestimiento de pollo era suave degustación. prueba este restaurante, es una alternativa a otros establecimientos para comer en Eastbourne. Estoy de acuerdo con muchos comentarios de los otros críticos y tenía dudas reservar una mesa con amigos, sobre todo porque era un 60° celebración de cumpleaños. Hablamos con el personal, la semana anterior, decidimos tomar la oportunidad y eran ampliamente recompensada. En primer lugar no era la opción de cenar en una mesa convencional, que optamos por contraposición a la planta elevada. El personal era amable y atento. Sabíamos que el alcohol no ofrecen, pero estaban encantados de traer nuestras propias sin cargo alguno corkage_nms - deberían concienciar a la gente de éste en sus menús. El menú es un poco limitado, principalmente cordero y pollo platos pero con opciones vegetarianas. Pedimos dos entrantes entre los cuatro, pero las raciones son enormes, así que un plato habría sido suficiente. Con esto en mente que compartimos tres platos principales, además de un magnífico pan Naan y arroz pilau. Otra vez fuimos derrotados pero nos ofrecía un "doggy bag' al final de la noche.
