The staff were rude I had my food thrown at the table by kitty when I went up to order my food using my blue light card the woman called Mariia who arrived me was rude and unwelcoming

We love going to this Nando's - the staff are brilliant and couldn't be more welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. It's a great atmosphere too, and there's lots of easy free parking. And of course the food is delicious too!

Went to Hove Nando's on a whim and ordered a takeaway. The staff member who served me was absolutely lovely and helpful. The reason this experience does not get the full 5 stars, is because a staff member was eating her dinner, round the corner, at a table where nobody could see her and she was told to move out of the sunshine, by a manager. There were 6 free tables, round the other side. Treating staff well, is a deal-breaker for me. I will not be eating at this branch again.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Food came out hot and testing fresh and was delivered very quickly. Great service!

Real food rather than junk food. Tastes pretty fresh and lots of fairly healthy options. However, there is almost no service, and what little there is, is so socially awkward that it borders on rude. You have to order through a QR code and then, if the food doesn’t come, you’re left trying to flag someone down. We had to ask two separate people and still waited forever for the children’s desserts to come. Also, no one cleared our table after our main course, even though we asked, so you’re left to eat dessert surrounded by chicken bones etc.

Me and my freind came to hove nandos in hope for a lovely meal we normally love nandos but in this instance we didnt get a nice meal we hoped for the chips was cold and so was the broccoli and the chicken was hard like it had been left.we wont be returning to this nandos again.

Staff are ok, we ordered our food which didn’t take to long to arrive. When our food had arrived the chips were cold, the chicken was dry as if it had been sat out for a long time. The only thing that was ok was the peas.

Awfully unhelpful staff who would not allow an autistic lad to use their toilets. When asked we were told no and that they were not for non customers. As a disabled adult he needed the toilet amd is not able to wait.

We were able to walk in and get a table straight away. Staff all friendly and welcoming. The food was great, just as ordered. Service was great. Cannot fault this one. Will be back for sure.

missing items phoned up nandos who were very rude .told us to get in touch with deliveroo .why ?,it was sent out from nandos .so they were to blame, No salad in the wrap just a bit of coleslaw which was horrible. Cold chips.. Waste of £65 Don't order from here

Food - They Don’t Get It Customer Service - Neither Of Them Get It. The order was incomplete, placed in a bag and shaken vigorously. Neither DELIVEROO nor Nando’s were interested in sorting the issue or even knowing about it

Dirty glass! Had to return - at the same time someone else was doing the same! Chicken thighs full of ‘wet fatty meat’ - not the usual texture. Chicken Butterfly (medium) absolutely tasteless - just not the same taste as it should be - having frequented Nando’s for some years. Chips not the usual taste - under cooked Table was so ‘sticky’ I had to eat on top of my menu! For nearly £40 - not good enough I’m afraid. So disappointing

For a start couldn't get the order app to work on phone. Kept crashing. Had to order at till. Very rushed. Was about a quarter of the way through my starter when the main course arrived. It put me off and barely ate anything. Beer was disgusting but that was personal taste. Would be nice if there was more choice.

Nando's think it is acceptable to make customers, who are actually dining in, order food through an app at their table. The app wasn't allowing us to add sides. It was tedious and unnecessary, as 3 staff members were milling around. We left and went to Burger King, where they allow you to actually order at the counter, from an actual person. Poor show Nandos. I've told everyone I know how ridiculous it was.

Good food & friendly staff. Sometimes you have to wait for a table but usually only at the weekends at peak times, even then it won't be for long.

Couldn’t fault the experience. I actually preferred it. Came here on opening day for indoor eating, well spaced, attentive staff and quick service. Simple ordering system and nice to see new things on the menu. The fake chicken was brilliant, really enjoyed the experience all round!

I have been a lover of Nando’s for years however I hadn’t eaten one for quite a while so decide we would go to the Hove Nando’s. After being advise no booking we arrived and had to scan and fill in a form to join a queue to get seated. We did this and it said we would be in within 5 mins and to wait outside. After waiting 10 mins it started to rain but we were told we could not go in and had to wait outside even though half of the restaurant was empty? Just as we were about to give up we were shown to a table (35 mins later) we were advise we now have to scan the code on the table and order food through our phone which is not a problem if it worked. Eventually we managed to get a member of staffs attention to advise it wasn’t working and they checked if I could order from the till instead which was agree by the manager. We ordered and our drinks were brought over (incorrect order) we left it and just thought at this stage we are hungry and thirsty just eat, drink and leave. Our food then came and looked delicious and I was hoping it was worth the wait but unfortunately not. I can honestly say I think the quality of food has slipped. Flavourless dry chicken, soggy chips and dry mash. We didn’t eat much and left disappointed. I would have rated one star but some staff were working hard to keep customers happy.

Dont bother to try this place..... phoned up in the afternoon to book.... told no bookings being taken just turn up!... Attended at 6 pm told fully booked , no chance of a meal.... how can you be fully booked if your not taking bookings!.... appalling situation.....dont use this restaurant if they treat potential customers in such a manner!

Ordered through Deliveroo who cancelled the order without telling What a super manager sorted it all out got our food sorted really helpful and friendly staff who just wanted to help My thanks to the manager as we waited for a hour kids where starving but all ended well due to the manager

Our first visit to Nando's was a real dissapointment. We paid a lot of money for not a lot. The amount of chicken you get is pathetic. A quarter of chicken was one skinny leg (not sure they understand fractions or what a whole chicken looks like) and a chicken breast was tiny and overcooked (hard). The fact that the format is also self service left us feeling very ripped off. I can't believe the place was full! We certainly wont be visiting Nando's again.

I know people who rave over Nandos and I have only eaten at this chain a couple of times. The staff were very good and the food arrived quickly and freshly cooked.For a couple of chicken wraps with one side order and 2 refillable soft drinks it cost around £22.I think families enjoy this type of food, personally wouldnt be my first choice for lunch or dinner.

After boasting about this restaurant to my dad, today we finally came here for lunch for his first ever time eating at Nando’s. I had previously told him how great it was and suggested going to this restaurant. When our food finally came after waiting a while, they had got my dads spice wrong to what he had ordered (he doesn’t like to much spice) however he was given extra hot by accident, these things happen sometimes I get it. However, we saw the waiter take the burger, scrap the hot sauce which he had put on the burger off and smoother the burger in mayonnaise, after I pointed out to him that we had just seen what he had done, he was very rude and adamant that this wasn’t the case and he suggested that we was lying and that he had just happened to cook a new burger in the space of 1 minute. My poor dad had to eat the burger as we had just paid over £30 for this meal and it didn’t seem like this man wanted to do very much about it other than be argumentative and rude. My dad was near on going to faint after eating the meal, he was crying and his whole face was red as a tomato. This defiantly wasn’t a mild burger, it was still the extra hot burger just smothered in mayonnaise. This is upsetting because now this has ruined my dad experience with Nando’s and he isn’t keen on going back to the hove one anytime soon due to the way he was treated. Not to mention the chicken wings which I had were black from being so burnt! I wish this particular staff member would have listened to us customers instead of dismissing us and belittling us.

Went last night it was awful food was only just away from being raw so very slimy chicken and soggy skin also food was cold so most of meal was not eaten which was very disappointing as it was a special evening for us with our son and our grandchildren also the cost of it wasn't cheap £89 for 3 adults and 2 children !!! nobody asked if everything was okay until we were about to leave by this time it was to late Disgusting food and won't be returning

Had to wait twenty minutes for a table even though there were at least 10 empty ones waiting to be cleaned, staff wandering about chaotically, cooked food left on the pass waiting to be taken to tables for an unacceptably long time, as staff just walked past it over and over again. There were loads of staff but seemingly no one in charge directly overseeing so the place was a mess. Our 2 plates arrived with chips stone cold and a bean burger that had touched a griddle for no more than a few minutes and was completely cold served in a stale bun.Absolute joke. Go here if you are looking to get food poisoning.

Used to be a great place to get some nice chicken and chips, but they keep on making the chickens smaller and smaller.The chickens must be less than a kilo now and it seems that I have to order a whole chicken platter for myself, where in the past I could share it with someone else.The fries have changed too, it's all rather disappointing.Also the wait staff are annoying as hell, keep on coming to clear your table when you're still eating.

If you haven't tried a Nandos before then you won't be disappointed, the food is amazing and now they deliver which is even more of a bonus, highly recommend 👍

Came here for the second time; was seen to a table straight away on a Saturday night so was really pleased. Our food was ordered and disappointingly the kids meal is not fair for vegetarians. They have 4 options for meat eating children and only 1 for vegetarian children. We tried this before & it was too spicy for my daughter, so we asked if we could swap the kids main (a vege patty) for some broccoli...No! Was the answer we got! It’s bloody broccoli & probably costs half the price of the patty, surely this was a reasonable swap!!!??? So we had to order lots of sides for her separately. It’s so unfair for vege children, completely biased and lack of options! Other than that, our food was ok apart from the seasonal veg is like a mushy salsa. Customer service needs attention here!!!!!

This is our nearest Nando's and we do go there maybe once a month. Last night was refreshingly a better experience than normal. We were greeted efficiently and shown a table. Although 9.30 pm, the restaurant wasn't a morass of dirty tables and food on the floor as often it is. Upon ordering, we were told there would be a 15 min wait for the chicken, but that was fine, we were informed. Our starter halloumi arrived well grilled. Then the chicken and sides, all as requested, hot and tasty.

unfortunately this nando's is our closest one so we have having it one to many chances always thinking that maybe it was a off day ... NO. Put it this way we have received 5 yes 5 free nando's meals because they have messed up our order missed things off it or we have had literally raw fries. i'm talking hard in the middle. We will get take away as we live in burgess hill. and every single time the order is wrong. its like they are doing it on purpose. I have even been in contact with head office because one time they served me raw potato wedges they had maybe been in the fryer for 2 mins .... awful. head office was very good and got the manager to call us and give s a free meal... but at this point 5 free meals later its becoming a joke.... sort it out.

Ordered a takeaway for delivery the other night after my girlfriend had just broke up with me and I crashed my car straight after. Was really looking forward for a nandos to cheer me up & as I hadn’t eaten all day. I ordered a grilled chicken pita and chips and over an hour and a half later after ordering it, it turns up. However, I got given cold stale chips... a raspberry cheese cake that was barely in date... and a baby sized bloody quiche... since when did nandos do quiche anyway?! I was so devastated and upset ... I called back up and they said they’d send a new one, another hour passed and it still hadn’t arrived so I phoned again and they said they can’t send it out now because there shut!!!! Bloody joke it was about 10:30 ish at this point all I wanted to do was go to bed and cry. thanks nandos for ending my day even worse than it already was

Nice big roomy restaurant, actually picked something different for once which was the whole chicken platter with 4 sides that me and my other half shared, was lovely, fast service as usual, helpful staff and it was nice and clean.

I can remember the original Nandos in Turfontein Johannesburg, it's range and recipes,,,,, and this branch is faithful to the real tasty origins. We did a large family party visit. kids, parents and grandparents.... everyone ate a variety and everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was a little chaotic because they were SO busy, but it was prompt, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended for all ages and tastes.

We ordered a takeaway, and not only did it turn up cold but was missing the chips and drink. Waited for half an hour on the phone hoping for a full refund/offer of a new order to be told that because it was ‘peak times’, they couldn’t deliver a new order. Also only offered a refund on the 2 missing items. Won’t be going to Nando’s again

Visited at lunchtime with my daughters ,chips were cold and soggy as if they had been sitting under the heat light for ages and the chicken wasn’t much better, often visit Nando’s as like the restaurants

Been there a few times over the last year. But on our last visit, both my son and wife got food poisoning, and they happened to share a meal. Needless to say, this is totally unacceptable! Won't go there again any time soon.

The last three visits to this Nando’s have been very disappointing. Today we went early so the restaurant wasn’t busy, but the food was barely warm and chicken chewy. Such a shame as it’s convenient to home and it used to be good.

Great food and great service! Chicken is sometimes slightly burnt but it still tastes amazing! Go there very regularly.

Visited here after work with some colleagues. Had halumi for starter and a butterfly chicken burger and chips. Brilliant that they give a 20% discount with a Blue light card so I got money off too!

my kids were crying due to the spice on the chicken, i am sure they gave them the wrong version. they offered to cover with sweet sauce but that did little to help. i am used to extra hot foods, the chicken they gave my kids was way too spicy.

Been here for a quick lunch. Very noisy at the time and families with kids messed up the floor pretty bad, but that's not a problem. The problem was that my order got taken wrong and we got a wrong dish. Only realised at arrival of the food. The chicken off the bone was very tasty and juicy, though. Very good sauces, too. Not bad for this type of restaurant. Side dishes were not overwhelming, the sweet potato wedges in particular. Average experience, good chicken. Can improve on the ordering process, this felt stubborn. The lady didn't listen to my initial order and I was asked to repeat the order in "their" stile, i.e. item, sauce, sides etc. Listen the first time, please.

Phoned the restaurant to order food to take away. Will be ready for 7 said the person at Nandos. Arrive and have to wait 15 minutes for the food to be cooked. What is that about?

Whilst visiting Goldstone Retail Park in Hove; we decided to visit Nando's for a spot of lunch. Nando's standard Fayre is nicely cooked chicken in a semi fast food environment- you can even order alcohol as well. The menu is extremely varied and you can even order the level of spiciness to whatever meal you choose. We opted for a hot half chicken with chips and coleslaw; and a grilled chicken pita and a side of mash. Both were excellent meals but the grilled chicken looked a bit poorly quantity wise in comparison to the half chicken. Having said that Nando's is really good value for money on this the South coast - our bill came to £24 which included a large bottomless Diet Coke and a large sparkling water. Would we go back? Of course- ideal for a Sunday afternoon lunch after a stroll round Hove.

I have visited this Nandos more than 15 + times. Food is great as with any other Nandos. Has ample parking and service is excellent.

We have just eaten in this resturant, it was very busy when we arrived, and we were asked to wait for a table. NO problem.

Visited mid week for dinner busy but very accommodating as we had a 6week old and a buggy. It’s a standard Nando’s good food as always. Plenty of staff to help.

The restaurant was fairly quiet as it was mid afternoon on a midweek day. We were quickly greeted and shown to a table and given some menus. First impression was that the floor, seats and tables were a little too dirty. The menus (all three) were sticky and dirty too. I hate that. A regular clean would be helpful by the staff.

We won’t be returning this is one of the worst Nando’s we have eaten in. The food was disgusting no flavour and hairs in the chicken wings! There are better fast food restaurants in Hove don’t waste your time visiting this one

We are “regulars” here. And we are always late and hurry. And we are always warmly welcomed by Mr. Miles - manger and his Crew. Miles is fantastic person, with good sense of humor. Takeaway order. Chips missing from the order...how can you forget chips?

We visited here on Thursday and had a nice main meal and my husband and I decided to have a pudding so I went up to the counter where I stood for 10 mins, while one poor girl had to deal with a fussy customer the other guy spent the whole time on the floor cleaning imagery tables as there was only 4 tables in the whole restaurants, he made eye contact with me several times and ignored me, the chef on the grill also called for the manager to come out and serve to no avail, after standing for 10 mins my husband shouted up to me not to worry as they obviously don’t want our money bearing in mind by this point there was actually a queue behind me that the guy on the floor still ignored! So they lost my money and custom for the future!

So went to Nando's as had a voucher to use. Think this is like my 2nd visit to a Nando's and I really want to like it.

We called in one Friday night , to be told the waiting time was 1 hour. We decided to do take away instead. After a 40 minute wait we got our food.I never thought to check it was all there. When I got home there was a chicken breast missing , even though the box was in the bag. When I called I was told I could not get a refund as they only refund in cash not back to a customers credit card !!!!

Yes even the free tap water was presented in a sparkling jug with ice to cool it.

First time I have tried this brand and was surprised that it was decent and tasty. Thought the coleslaw was particularly good. Service was fast and efficient and the place was tidy. Location has easy parking. Okay for a quick lunch.

Table for six at lunchtime. Friendly staff. Quick reasonably priced food. Let down by poor table clearing and after care. Desserts were literally put amongst our main course plates which hadn’t been cleared. This was very poor. However. Clean and decent food so average mark.

If you like Nando’s this one is a good one. Staff friendly, it’s new so looks great and as it’s in a business park there is easy parking.

My kids love grabbing a Nando's after a trip to Hove Park. The staff are always really friendly and having bottomless frozen yoghurt is a mega win with the kids. Food always good - you know what you're getting. Loads of things to keep kids entertained - so wins all around.

This is our second visit to Nando’s and although I feel it’s very overpriced and an overrated restaurant, the food is good quality and tasty.

Was a standard Nando's good quality food and good service. Just after we arrived there was about a 30 min wait for a table but we were lucky to beat the mad rush we probably would not have waited 30 mins for a table.

WOW! What can I say! Served by the great staff but there was one who completely stole the show! We came in Monday evening to collect, to our surprise there is never a bottle of mango & lime sauce as a side, but Natalie was incredible! Sorted us out some special mango and lime sauce from the kitchen. Great customer service, we bet her we would leave a review so here it is!

Visited on Saturday 23rd Sept with my husband and daughter. Really friendly service from a waitress that had only started 2 days before but was so polite and efficient. Manager was also very attentive and dealt with an issue we had really well. Food was quick, delicious and hot! Great time

A regular jaunt for us, and as always excellent food, great service and amazing staff. It was fairly busy tonight, however there was no slip up on service. Can’t wait to visit again.

Love coming to this nandos for my cheeky chicken! Lots of parking and nice outside eating as well as lots of seating inside. Food was quick and hot and the staff were friendly seating us, taking our order and even checking on us half way through our meal! Will defo be back soon!

I went to this restaurant recently to have a rap and chips but it was rather expensive compared to the pub at the bottom of George St in Hove which was much better value.

Every time you go to this restaurant you wait 30 mins, doesn't matter what time they say it's ready. Always check the order before you leave as it's always always wrong! Ask for breast you'll get a wing, ask for chips you'll get corn, they say they have to cook the sides from fresh and that causes the delay but if they give you a time you expect it ready then and if your late you expect it cold. It's chaos and despite a couple of complaints it just doesn't function properly for take aways.

Had a few visits over past few months and so far the food has not disappointed. I'm super fussy about my meat and the chicken always is very good and tastes delicious along with the sides. Always a nice treat and will be back soon

Éramos un grupo de 8 incl dos niños pequeños. Una vez que pedimos nuestra comida estaba en menos de 10 minutos. Que por un lado era bueno, pero la calidad de la comida era bastante pobre. Pedí hora pechugas de pollo con patatas fritas y ensalada. Las pechugas de pollo eran muy pequeñas, más como tiras de pollo. Ciertamente no me gusto recién preparado y no estoy seguro de todo lo que la comida podría haber sido fresco en ese tiempo de todos modos. Dos de los rollos en el pollo hamburguesas estaban ligeramente rancio.

Por razones que no voy a aburrir con mi esposa y yo no hemos visitado un restaurante nando's por cinco años, pero habiendo encontramos en Hove durante la hora del almuerzo, y siendo sólo limitada para cenar, una vez más nos dirigimos hacia Nando de Hove. Cómo contentos con nuestra decisión. No sólo no encontramos el personal amable y un ambiente agradable, pero rápidamente nos dimos cuenta de un menú mejorado mucho. Más variedad y opciones. Nos preguntaron por nuestro camarero asignado si habíamos ido a Nando's antes y sin pensar, me respondió con un "sí". Sin embargo, qué pronto descubrí que yo había olvidado el procedimiento a la orden e hizo un desastre de este y se olvidó de pedir todo lo que queríamos. Cómo agradable fue que en vez de servir lo que había pedido, en darnos cuenta de mi error, la camarera de inmediato trabajó para solucionar el problema hasta que estuvimos completamente satisfechos. La comida, cuando llegamos, estaba bien presentada, preparada exactamente a nuestro gusto y también recién preparado, personalmente no puedo respetar la comida que ha sido la izquierda debajo lámpara climatizada para las edades. Que Nando en Hove. No creo que pasará mucho tiempo antes que su cabeza otra vez y la próxima vez que sin duda tendrá toda la familia conmigo. Ahora que será un reto para ti!

We both were in Hove looking at furniture and we seen Nandos and both said fancy lunch, but laughed when we both said we have never ever eaten hear, so we entered and got a nice smile welcome from the chap at the door, the place was heaving with screaming kids, so we asked for a quiet table, great menu with a wonderful choice of chicken and Veggie dishes and steaks on offer, there is something for everyone on this menu I thought, so the waiter run through what to do, you check out the menu, remember your table number, order at the bar area, and your food is brought to you, you get glasses at the bar to, you get your own plates at cutlery and sauces at another unit, you also get free top up soft drinks with certain meal deals which is great, we ordered a chicken platter for two, which came with 4 sides, so we had corn on the cob, rice, coleslaw, spicy salted fries, the food came and it was presented really well and you also get to chose how spicy you want your food, it was really delicious and really enjoyable, the place is very clean with lovely staff around to look after you with a open chicken so you can watch the chefs cook your food, but only at the main entrance area, there is Free parking also which is a great benefit, as its next to A few main store units, like TKMax,

Went on a Friday evening and had a ten minute wait . Well worth it as service was very good and food well cooked and hot . Wasn't hurried at all - probably best Nando's we've been too . Would def go back .

Visited here for a colleagues leaving meal. Very friendly staff, especially the pregnant waitress. Limited vegetarian options but tasted ok except for the cold chips. Wouldn't go back out of choice but it was ok.

Nando's ME ENCANTA pero es en ese momento donde te dan un poco harto; la comida es increíble además si sales mucho terminas recibiendo la misma comida deliciosa cada vez!

Esta fue la primera vez que había visitado esta rama de Nando y me quedé muy impresionado. La comida era de la gran calidad que usted espera de Nando's y el servicio fue excepcional, especialmente desde el gerente que se llama Sarah, quien fue muy amable e hizo que mi novia y yo me siento en casa. No cabe duda de que volveremos pronto.

Una visita muy bueno, la comida era muy buena tuve el puré de pollo y col seguido mi tarta de crema pastelera un portugués. Tengo que decir que fue muy agradable. El personal era muy amable. Comida llegó rápidamente. El único inconveniente era el chico de la mesa de al lado pruebas las salsas pulsando la boquilla en su dedo, no parece muy higiénico para mí.

Fuimos con la familia para la cena; el servicio fue excelente y la comida también era muy buena.
