Nando's in Brentwood

My husband and I popped in Friday 25th ...never been in Nandos ! Asked Kayleigh how it works (ordering food etc) and she explained everything and was so helpful ..... She really went above and beyond . Food was great... Good choice on the menu. We had a terrible day making funeral arrangements ...Kayleigh thank you xxxxxxx

Staff was rude and dismissive, I was told it was too busy when I requested an addition to my order. This was not processed and refused when I asked kindly. Very poor service from a restaurant.

Extremely poor food and not great service. I'm quite a regular Nando's eater and have had many good meals from there, but this has to of been the worst experience in a Nando's I've ever had. It was fairly quiet when we arrived, so expected to have some decent food as there wasn't much of a demand in the kitchen. Both mine and my colleagues food was freezing cold! We told the manager and instead of replacing the food, they clearly put it in the microwave as the bite mark on the burger i tried was still there. Having spent almost 50 quid in there and being a regular customer, you'd expect better. But the staff looked like they were more interested in having a chat, than tending to the customers. Their was 1 knife left when i went to get my cutlery and barely any sauces. It is a very poorly ran establishment and it seems it ran by teenagers who couldn't care less about anything apart from having a chat with their mates.

It was a Saturday night at 8 pm Me and my partner come for dinner here. We was waiting at the door for 10 mins and then some girl sat us down she didn’t say nothing and chucked the menus on the table. Me and my partner felt so uncomfortable the restaurant was busy and out of control the staff were so unprofessional. We went to the till to order and we got served by some girl (mixed race) she was rude she wasn’t smiling or didn’t offer us drinks after we ordered lots of food. We ordered chicken wing roulette for a starter. We was eating our starter half way through the waitress with light brown hair and short , comes over with the mains and just puts the mains on the table. We haven’t even finished our starters and comes over with the main me and my partner was so confused what was going on. We finished our meals and none took our plates after we finished. After we finished our meals we left none said thank you. The staff was so rude I felt so uncomfortable me and my partner rushed our food so we could leave. The worst nandos ever and the food was a disappointment too next time I be going to Basildon nandos much more friendly staff!!

Place was dirty, food under tables, and on seats.. the mirror behind us looked like it had smeared food all over it, and had definitely been there a while..staff had lackadaisical attitudes to say the least. Once we placed our order, we then waited around 40 minutes, before the first bit of it came. At this time, there were only four other tables occupied The waitress then preceded to spill half of my grandsons food onto the table....then, whilst the waitress scuttled around the floor, seemingly doing very little, my daughter's food was sitting on their counter, waiting to be delivered to our table..after a few minutes of hearing the bell go more than twice to signal someone's food was ready, my daughter went to the counter, and retrieved it herself. On asking the waitress why was her food just sitting there, the waitress just turned away. On the next table was a member of staff, who was sitting on a tablet of some kind. After sitting there, picking his nose, he then got up and took off his jacket, and appeared to start a shift behind the counter!! Pretty sure he was a manager or assistant manager... another member of staff was at the counter, thumbing through his mobile phone..Nobody seemed to care at all. This particular Nando's was a favourite a few years ago when I frequented the area more than I do now...however, on the display there today, I will never be going back. Thinking on how dirty it was, made me wonder what the kitchen there was like. Pitiful place it has become. We were absolutely shocked , and couldn't wait to leave..

The staff at Nandos this evening were lovely. The chicken butterfly had to be oven cooked which was going to take and while but the staff were so lovely about it, offering us free puddings and a starter they also bought all the other food we ordered so the kids could eat theirs. The manager kept apologising and updating us on the progress. The chicken was great when it arrived too! The team were so kind we felt really special. We’ll be back, thanks guys!

Working in Brentwood called here with a colleague on the way back to hotel. Really great service very friendly thank you! My only gripe was the medium sauce was incredibly hot for some reason but great otherwise

The most horrendous and atrocious Nando’s chain! Every single time there are issues, I have given them the benefit of covid reopening & avoided for about 4-5 months. Went to collect today, big mistake. The breast of chicken was half a chicken breast what a waste of money. The garlic bread I nearly lost a tooth on & the chips are always cold. This place needs a big revamp of staff and management. Avoid it!

First night off front wheel kids in 6 months we walked through the door at 8:55 on Friday night just me and my girlfriend and get met w With a sad face saying ahh we’ve had a few problems today so we’re not going to bother taking any more customers .. All while the restaurant is 75% full all eating fine . Just purely lazy and couldn’t be bothered . Get another job if you don’t want to stay open until the open times . Waste of time stay away.

Every time we order Nandos for collection there is one thing missing !! the staff don't go through the order with you anymore and its time consuming to do yourself plus getting cold. ruins your meal

Ordered a meal via click and collect. Chicken was dry as if it had been on the grill for a long time, rice and chips both cold very disappointing

Love a Nando's but tonight was disappointing. We got there and chairs had food on them, table was sticky. We went up to order and were then told "We have no wraps"... what ?! No wraps in Nandos?? If thats the case then I think it is common decency to be told when you are seated like "here are the menus and btw unfortunately we have no wraps today" etc. Wraps are such a main part of Nando's they just should have said. This was the main disappointment. All plates had different portions of chips and we were brought wrong sauces twice when asking. Food was tasty though, so not complaining about that... just wish I'd been able to have my wrap!

Went to the this branch for the first time to have dinner with my twin boys on their birthday. Was told by a staff that waiting time was 30 mins though the restaurant was half empty. Asked if it was due to social distancing, he said no, that they were short staffed. I then told him we would wait but he said we were not allowed to sit inside even though there were several empty seats. I reminded him it was cold outside and we had parked in the car park few minutes away. He then went to whisper into his managers ears who rudely said he was short staffed and turned us away. I would not recommend as the floors were very dirty and the air was not welcoming.

The food was great but the floors were incredibly dirty.. there was a squashed piece of chicken not far from where we were sitting and other bits of food like squashed chips under our table. Management should make bigger efforts to clean the restaurant before sitting customers down as it made it a very unpleasant experience and we haven’t returned since.

I have eaten at many of the Nandos in Essex, but this one is my favourite. Food is always great, portions great and staff very friendly. Highly recommend!

An excellent visit in every respect. Our starters and mains were extremely hearty and tasty. You know when a Nando’s is really, really good? This was one of those occasions. Difficult to put your finger on it, but this one hit the mark. Ordered a variety of vegetarian and half-chicken mains, combined with Sagres bottled beer, hummus and bread, red pepper dip and the classic peri-peri salted fries. Finally, our table service was good and swift. An all-round great Nando’s trip.

When you want to make a booking of 30 people and give your credit card to secure the booking and still get every excuse under the sun! What a shame....Disappointed! Off to Zizzi instead...

This was my first visit to this Nando’s and although not a chain I’ve visited a lot, it’s been quite an acceptable informal restaurant. Same here in Brentwood. Very informal and clientele of all ages. Food came out pretty quick even although the restaurant was busy being a Friday evening. Food tasty but my biggest gripe was that it was quite noisy and I couldn’t hear a lot of the conversation in my group. Just not a place I would rush back to in a hurry. £40 for two chicken dishes and a bottle of pretty average wine

Some bits of the Spicy Rice were so hard I had to check for small rocks. It wasn't just once, and in both of my two portions. I couldn't eat them and may've even damaged a tooth. We also had to change tables, as I stuck to the chair. The staff look and act completely disinterested.

I went here with some work colleagues on weds night and had a nice time. Served quickly and with a smile. Food was as expected but I have always thought that Nando's is just a bit expensive for what is just chicken really. Anyway that's just my opinion.

Came here with friends on a Saturday night. No complaints, everything pretty good for a Nandos. Busy but they fitted us in upon arrival.

As with all Nando’s restaurants the service speed is insanely fast, but the food all 3 times I’ve visited has been cold and underwhelming in taste despite the place being quite empty. I would rather have waited a little longer for our food and had it fresher/hotter.Perhaps it’s because I always visited during the daytime but the restaurant has no atmosphere and the overall dining experience left us cold

Schoolkid staff unable to manage groups of people, lack of urgency to get food "out of the door". The evening felt chaotic rather than a smooth running of a restaurant.Waiting for your food whilst everyone else on my table has nearly finished is somewhat awkward.Ensure you visit during quieter times to get the service one would expect of a c.£10 meal.

I do enjoy a cheeky nandos from time to time, had the olives for the first time which were lovely, chicken wrap (hot) was lovely however garlic bread was like eating rock other than that lovely place to go and eat in the heart of the high street.

First time I visited this restaurant and in arrival there were tables reserved left right and centre which I found bizarre. I thought Nando’s was first come first serve. Waited 10 minuets for a table to become available. The staff were friendly enough and when my food arrived I was disappointed that my sides were not separated from my main dish. I ordered half a chicken hot, fries and corn on a cob. It was served all on one plate. My portion of chips were definitely a lot smaller then usual and my corn was burnt. I pointed this out the the waiter straight away who apologised and offered another corn and more chips. I was grateful and thought this was very good customer service. So thank you Nando’s. Please try to be more conscious of food presentation. Enjoyed it though. Sorry I was not able to take a photo on this ocassion.

Popped into Nandos after school with the Kids for our evening meal, Staff were pleasant and friendly but the resturant was Filthy, dirty tables,dirty floor all of the surfaces wrer greasy ad grimey THIS PLACE NEEDS A DEEP CLEAN AND SOON

I love Nando’s and have been lots of times to lots of different locations and this one is by far the worst one I have been to! Staff uninterested, food only just warm as it sat up under the lights for ages while everyone just messed around. There was only two other tables in so not busy, but staff doing crosswords and eating was far more important! Won’t be back and slightly ruined the whole Nando’s experience for me too!

A few years ago (actually, that was last year) I criticised Nando's for being a bit dry. I was wrong. It was a random enlightenment that proved the chicken to be crispy and full of flavour. Rice (or cous cous or whatever you're gonna call it) was fine and you get practically infinite refills on drinks. Fizzy. Staff were great and the menu simple. Place looked great. Have to come again.

Absolutely loved it there. It was my fifth time going. It was very busy and the food took 30 minutes to come but that was ok

Everything fine apart from the table next to us that the waiter “cleaned”. Rice on table just wiped onto the floor except it went on the chairs! Disgusting. Remember to check what you are sitting on!

Small restaurant on Brentwood High Street. Very popular most times of day and a bit chaotic at times with people queuing to order etc. Food tasty with the usual Nando consistency and staff friendly and efficient.

La catena Nando’s si trova in gran parte del Regno Unito ed e’ garanzia di polli molto saporiti e con salsa peri peri con vari livelli di piccante. Il locale e’ molto confortevole, il servizio puntuale, occorre ordinare e pagare in anticipo alla cassa. Per una volta si può provare anche perché i prezzi per quello che offre non sono economici.

€25 for what amounted to a snack meal was expensive and the food was really only ok. A portion of sweet potato wedges amounted to 5 wedges

Nando’s is an easy option for me and my friends to choose, if we can’t think of a place to go we will go here where we know we are guaranteed a table (maximum 10 minute wait most of the time) and great food. I recommend this place 110%, great for meals with family and friends

Just had a lovely meal with the family in Nandos as we do weekly.

I liked the decoration inside, we didn't had to wait to order our lunch and our food came very quick. Chicken was really tasty. Would deffo come back again. Just an easy cheep eat!

Yo estaba fuera por la noche con un amigo simplemente agarrando un bocado para comer, nos sentamos muy rápido, y nuestra comida llegó bastante rápido también.

Nando's visité en Brentwood con amigos. (había estado allí una vez antes de un par de años y nos gustó). Todos pedimos una comida diferente y todos estábamos contentos con nuestras comidas. Servicio no era rápido, pero no tuvimos que esperar demasiado tiempo para nuestras comidas llevaron a nosotros. El restaurante estaba lleno, pero nadie intentó apuró, lo cual era agradable. Quizás regrese a este restaurante si estoy en Brentwood de nuevo.

Yo comer aquí un poco justos y nunca la comida mala, el servicio es siempre bueno y amable. He utilizado su servicio para llevar, una o dos veces que han olvidado algo del orden para llevar, que es la razón por la que está recibiendo un 4, no 5. No me puedo quejar del aunque restaurante

Un grupo de nosotros visitamos Nando's para el almuerzo. El servicio fue muy agradable y los camareros y camareras eran muy eficientes. La comida llegó rápidamente. Me dieron uno de la orden un poco mal pero que rectificara el problema muy rápidamente y con una sonrisa amable. La comida es buena. Si te gusta el pollo y quieres una salsa picante, entonces no te puedes equivocar.

Food is always tasty, service friendly and food served fast. Only criticism is the toilets weren't to the highest of standards and freezing cold. I would still return though.

Bastante agradable, las mesas están bastante cerca una de la otra, pero no tengo a nadie a un lado de nuestra mesa, así que no estaba demasiado mal. Had a take away 1/4 chicken requested breast with a side order of creamy mash houmous peri peri drizzle with warm pitta bread £10.50p absolutely gorgeous easily feed two people we really enjoyed it didn't have time for a sit in very good value lovely staff all professional made to feel welcome as I waited for my take away take away plastic spoons knife forks tissues mayonnaise pepper all in sachets will be back thanks enjoy

Como Nando's y me gusta esta en particular. El lugar es bastante pequeño, pero tienen una carga de personal para el servicio. Es rápido y fácil, y la comida no dura para siempre. El personal parece que quiere ayudar, que es agradable. Lugar limpio, los inodoros están arriba, así que una por una buena caminata, pero limpias y ordenadas. Comida caliente. vienen aquí sin duda.

Very reasonably priced and consistent food. Visited here twice and both times food was prompt tasty and relatively cheap. Would definitely return.

Comida llegaba caliente y lo más importante recién cocinero no sentado allí esperando ro servirá a alguien. Pero si es muy Nanros es malo no es la comida que es muy que a todos nos gusta!. Bien hecho chicos para la mejora! Volveremos!

Well compared to the last few times its absolutely upped its game! Well done Nandos! Not sure if you have a new manager or new staff! But the food was brilliant well done!

If you like Nando's, its is similar to all other Nando's. Not too crowded, ample parking nearby. It is local for us as well. It was not so good when we visited last year or the year before. Seems good now

First time in Nandos! We had a fabulous evening food great. Atmosphere was great, staff very helpful and friendly.

Well had to go find somewhere to have lunch on a Saturday The Slug & Lettuce had loads of empty tables but apparently all reserved so went across the road to Nando's and got a table straight away for 5 sat down and a waiter came straight away with menus and took the drinks order, excellent service drinks arrived quickly and our food followed very soon after various wraps and chicken burgers were ordered and I had 3 hot chicken wings which were nice and spicy and had plenty of sauce on them, overall a lovely restaurant and excellent staff and service,very clean and tidy.

Really lovely restaurant, quite big and staff really lovely. Came in around 6pm on a Saturday night and were seated immediately, all of our food was cooked to perfection and we were very satisfied!

Just as nice as any other Nandos I have ever visited. Ordered a Coke, Single chicken fillet burger (lemon and herb) with a side of chips. Really tasty with lots of sauce on my burger. Polite staff and quick friendly service.

I am a regular in Nandos and was very disappointed by my recent visit as my beloved mash was lumpy and quite cold. It put me off my meal and my chicken was spicy although I clearly asked for lemon and herb.

As this is my local Nandos I normally drive to Lakeside due to previous visits here that were terrible! But last night they actually got the whole order correct and the food tasted amazing! Well Done! Let's see if it lasts!

Una delle migliori cucine di polo in circolazione servito in locale misto tra il pub ed il self Service. Petto, cosce, ali , insieme o singolarmente, con vari tipi di cottura con un condimento piccante hot, medium o base sono le tante variazioni possibili con dei condimenti molto gustosi; non molto ampia la scelta dei vini e delle birre. Il prezzo di circa 20 pound a testa compreso le bevande alla fine si può considerare non modico ma nemmeno eccessivo.

First timer in Nando's. polite staff, quick turn around time on the food. Clean. Free refills. Not over priced. Only annoying thing was the sauce bottles, time to invest in some squeeze bottles!

Normally love nandos... this branch is the worst one I've been to. Miserable staff, food is poorly cooked! The restaurant however is clean.

Basic restaurant serving very simple basic food very reasonably priced, great free refills which is good when you have kids with you.

Llamé a mi pedido, el recepcionista era un poco impaciente, porque quería ensalada mediterránea con mi plato completo como de costumbre ( que ahora cobran extra por eso). El pollo estaba extra extra crujientes seco. Esta era la segunda vez que estoy superando preparado pollo seco de este restaurante en particular que tenía que ser binned. También era como si la parte pechuga habían sido cortadas en piezas y enterrarse junto con la piel. mantiene desmoronándose como si era a la izquierda de la placa de alguien. De todos modos mal pollo, ocurrido dos veces, estoy muy decepcionado. Muy mal. El personal no era muy amable cuando fui o, quizás era sólo yo. El joven que vino a preguntarme si quería llevar o comer en estaba muy bien, pero el resto del personal parecía irritado y cansados.

Always a good standby for fast tasty well-prepared quality chicken dishes at a fair price. Extra Hot for me please. Nice mash option too.

En realidad, yo realmente no importa un restaurante honrado que se pega a las armas y sirve lo que es conocido por - este es bastante más de lo que esperaba.

Nos dejó en una comida para llevar son extraordinarias para cuidar el sábado 27 de junio. El orden de la comida fue muy profesional y rápido, la comida estaba lista muy rápido y el chico que lo trajeron a mí fue muy educado. La comida era excelente, lo mejor son extraordinarias que he tenido! Sin duda me hace volver otra vez!!

overpriced, boring food, small portions, average "self" service, why bother?

Gracias a todo el personal por el cumpleaños de los pecados. La comida fue rápido a la orden era perfecto. Nos complació la tarta de cumpleaños a incluso cantaron. La señora en el teléfono la tomó nuestra reserva tenía excelentes aptitudes para la atención al cliente es muy educado y servicial. Gracias

Para comenzar bien el pollo cuando llegamos estaba bien. Cuando pedí que me dijeron que toma 15 minutos extra para cocinar pollo muslos, que me dijo que estaba bien, después de esperar 15 minutos el director llegó a nosotros y se disculparon diciendo que tienen sólo poner la orden en el horno y será otro 15 min de espera.

Favourite nandos restaurant, had a great meal with the family, staff always polite! Would recommend the portobello mushroom and halloumi wrap

not good im afraid meal was warm at best and restaurant not very clean , I know this is low end of market but still not too cheap will stick to better options locally

Via son extraordinarias ordenados son extraordinarias App. Pensé que le daría otra oportunidad Brentwood son extraordinarias ya que fui en septiembre y fue horrible. Nos recogió la orden y no era correcto cuando llegamos a casa. Nando llamé y me han ofrecido un plato principal gratis.

Went to Brentwood for the weekend, and really enjoyed Nandos (Fri and Sat night). The food was great, and the staff were so nice and helpful.

No es broma pero preferiría en coche de Lakeside Shopping Center de ir a esta Nando's!

On par with all other Nando's we have visited however the floor was incredibly slippery which made collecting drinks from the self serve area some what hazardous.

Most people have frequented Nando's and this one is very run of the mill...I went a couple of times in Jan, the service was fine and the food good, it's pretty good value for money, the first time I went however the soda machine wasn't working which was a bit crazy!

Visitamos aquí como un grupo de nueve en un sábado a mediodía. El servicio era lento ... la comida todos llegamos a horas diferentes y para rematar la comida estaba fría. Sé que debería haber envió pero habíamos estado esperando tan largo (unos 45 minutos) que ninguno de nosotros pudo afrontar el problema. He estado en otros son extraordinarias con ninguno de estos problemas así que quizás sólo un mal día, pero realmente no fue una buena experiencia y siento decir que no lo puedo recomendar.

son extraordinarias vinieron a buscar algo de comer para cenar antes de regresar a un programa en un festival en hall sawyers Lane. sólo tuvimos am hora libre. Yo vine con mi amigo y pedimos un barrio pollo picante con arroz y patatas fritas para mí y mi amigo 400 pollo picante con arroz, patatas fritas, pan de ajo y dos refrescos. La comida llegó a 15/20 minutos pero las patatas fritas eran recocido y el pollo estaba quemada, por lo tanto es difícil. Me quejé al camarero que se negó a cambiar mi comida porque tuve "comido media de mi pieza de pollo", es muy lejos de la verdad. Yo también me gustaría sólo tenía dos o tres de las patatas fritas que eran recocido, cuando me quejé me dijo que era imposible porque la cocina tenía un temporizador, y probablemente fue porque el aceite había sido cambiado. El camarero se procedió a bajar. pésimo servicio y mala comida!!!! Soy un cliente habitual de son extraordinarias, una vez por semana como mínimo, y por lo que estoy muy decepcionado de mi experiencia de son extraordinarias!!! No lo recomiendo.

Overpriced for what you get. This is the worst nandos I've been in and I love nandos. My friends and I will not be back. Staff were lovely it was just the food quality.
