Nana's Cafe in Gwynedd

This is a very good takeout, very tasty food and reasonable prices I highly recommend the chips and the kids meals are very good. The staff are very kind and understanding I rate this takeaway a 5/5

Visited here for tea based on the rave reviews and ordered Doner meat and chips. It was that salty it ended up being completely inedible and an absolute waste. Would not recommend

We visited Nanas takeaway while staying in Pwllheli. The food was quick, tasty and all round very good. I would highly recommend the kofta kebab, this was one of the tastiest I have had in a long while.

On holiday we searched for a takeaway , we came across nanas while visiting the local town , I rang and placed my order for collection , collection was super fast and easy , my husband and son both had cheeseburgers while I had pizza . All night my husband and son was being sick ! Obviously food poisoning, ruining our holiday .so please beware !

Excellent takeaway, found ourselves there due to very busy restaurants, and was not disappointed. Lovely friendly service, and the best chicken kebab I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend. Well done!

We visited this takeaway while on holiday and would absolutely recommend. We ordered 4 main meals and every one was lovely.

Food was excellent but they have had a new person taking orders. Not a good impression as you walked in and she was chewing gum. Took food home and she had not taken some of the order. I would suggest checking order before taking it out as she is somewhat very vague

I was on the phone explaining what I wanted for 10 minutes, was simple what I asked for chicken goujon and chips with cheese. They gave me a massive tray of chips, and massive chips with cheese and goujions, came fast,had a couple of bites and was very sick all night, couldn't stop throwing up. but they robbed me £12.50, if they just listen to my order properly, instead of making there own orders! Now I'm left with not much money, single person. Hope your happy, money grabbing people.

We arrived on holiday late in the evening and decided to get a pizza. We could have phoned ahead which would have speeded the order up but it didn't take longer than 10 mins anyway. We ordered two pizzas and a childs meal. Everyone was happy with their meal, the pizzas were not the thin traditional types but fairly thick, tasty and full of topping. We would try this place again and perhaps try a chicken kebab to get a better idea of how good this place is.

We’re on holiday in Pwllheli and fancied a nice takeaway, the food was beautiful we had a chicken kebab, burger and 2 chicken nugget kids meals, all were fabulous and a lovely touch to the kids meals they give them a bag of haribos each for there afters! Would recommend 100%

We tried to register for half an hour and kept putting in the correct post code which is LL53 but it kept saying post code invalid, UK postcodes are normally like AA9. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. Wish they would get someone decent to sort their registration form on line out.

Ordered Pizza, garlic cheese bread, chips and the mixed kebab to be delivered to hafan y mor haven park. Food was lovely and they called me 5 mins before arrival so I could meet the driver at the security gate/ entrance to the park. Will use again when I visit the park next time.

We called Nana's three times in one night. The first call was very professional, our order was taken without any issues, and we were told it would be delivered to us within an hour. An hour and a half later we called a second time to check on our order, at which point we were told our order had not been made and they would not deliver because a similar order had been placed earlier that night and it had not been collected, at which point we were hung up on. Our third and final call to Nana's we were told that our order would not be made at all and if we called again we would be reported the police. We had asked to speak to the manager on the third call and he had spoken to us on the second, which is when we were hung up on. We then had to order from another takeaway (pekish kebab and pizza house) and received our order within 20 minutes with excellent service. The manager of Nana's gave very poor customer service and was very unprofessional. We would not recommend Nana's to anyone and are leaving this review to ensure others don't have to encounter the same poor quality that we had to tonight. Hope this helps anyone who reads in future.

Good if basic takeaway meal. Pizza was good and well topped. Chicken was well cooked and tasty. If I have any complaints it's that the chips were a little soggy.

Got the food delivered to the campsite. Really easy to order online, really quick delivery and great food.

We are seriously disappointed with this place. We've been loyal customers to nanas for years and always order at least £40 worth of food. We recently ordered with Nanas and after firstly refusing to deliver to us because of the distance (11 minute drive) the delivery arrives and costs way more than we added up from a recent menu. We were also not given a receipt. 4 people were left without a meal because the order had gone wrong and after disputing it on the phone with them, Nanas refused to take responsibility.

the food and service is great here. every time I have been, they have gone out of their way to deliver a great meal and great service, always with a smile. not to expensive either

Decided to save on the cooking and order a pizza on a Friday evening as we have done many times before. Ordered by phone and collected 15 minutes later - already packed and ready. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be frequented again - often.

We ordered from here after a night out. 1 mixed kebab between 2 of us was plenty. Really nice quality meat tasted chargrilled was lovely. Salad sauce and bread all seperate too. Would go back next time we visit the area.

Ordered a mixture of kebab and pizza, and very happy with all the meal, very generous portions of kebab and chips, and chef really friendly, when visiting again , we will return again

Food is tasty and hot. I like the hot wings and the pizzas are fresh to order. They deliver locally which is a bonus.

Good kebabs and pizza and got free garlic bread which was tasty, only problem was the chips which were soggy and although the rest was good it wasn't excellent. Would go back again though as perfectly edible.

Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon. Two chicken Peri Peri wraps and a Peri Peri kebab. With drinks change from £20😀. Really good food and friendly staff. Ate here years ago before the revamp and fondly remember the hoummous and pitta dish I had! Recommended.

Me and my Fiance had a wrap each with some chips, we ordered the Chicken Peri Peri wrap's and 1 small chips, we asked for sweet chili sauce on both wraps, and garlic mayonnaise on the chips, when we got our order and arrived home together, she had taken one bite out of her wrap and moments later it was leaking out sweet chili sauce, ( not over exaggerating ! way too much sauce!) the wrap was soaking and literally it couldn't even stay on the fork. and as for my wrap some reason I didn't even have sweet chili, it was hot chilly ?..oh ! and my wrap was also soaking. The men working were quite polite, but for some reason this just was not edible at all.If we were drunk on a night out and came here, it still would have been a struggle to eat.

Great pizza. I had the meat feast and it was the nicest I've ever eaten. Great service and value. Will become my first stop for pizza :-)

Great place certainly not posh but if you are looking for inexpensive bacon sarnie and good cuppa together with fun 60s music (volume just right) nana Taff will do you proud

These guys have really raised the bar for Kebabs in particular and have shown they care about their regular customers in a way that I have not experienced in the other place - well done !!

Segunda vez en la zona, pero la primera vez que lo visitamos - de Nana sólo fue una pena que no lo encontramos la última vez.La comida era buena y los precios razonables y no tuvimos problemas con el servicio. Si algo, que parecía ir la milla extra para los niños; proporcionar dulces gratuitos cuando fuimos en fue un toque agradable.Una cosa a tener en cuenta en particular. Estoy acostumbrado a las setas pidiendo de ajo en una comida para llevar y conseguir algo que podría haber comprado en una bolsa en la sección congelada de Asda. No aquí, en vez de eso, setas adecuados en mantequilla de ajo cocinadas en el horno de pizza. Big aprobado para eso.

This establishment was once Nana's Cafe and now sells pizzas and kebabs to a mainly teenage clientèle.

This is no longer a cafe and it's new name is Nana's Pizza & Kebabs, a teenage oriented middle of the road burger bar. It is individually listed under its new name.

First visit but would definately recommend friendly staff and were really friendly with our kids food is lovely and fresh ingredients

Ordered a few bits for there ate it in was of a good quality I enjoyed it the partner n kids too priced just right too definatly be pooing by next year if in pwllheli.

This place has the best ever Chicken piri piri wrap, its always delicious and the lads are all very friendly, but its not called Nanas anymore though

Ate here while in Pwllheli for a festival, place was clean and the food was great. Really busy when we got there but got served quickly.

Mientras que sólo un pequeño establecimiento en una calle lateral de Pwllheli High St realmente bien merece una visita. Sentarse fuera si el clima lo permite o comer. ahora tienen un servicio de entrega a domicilio. Buena selección de comida de un menú variado y qué servicio excelente. Siempre felices de satisfacer

Nana's cafe is by far the best kebaby in town.They deliver to quite far away and always within half an hour.Staff are always friendly and pleasant.
