Nan King in Bristol, City of

Not bad but why are Chinese chip shops cash only? I can use my card in a vending machine these days so I have to draw cash out especially, what a pain

Love the food from Nan King - its always really tasty and if you collect its never been longer than 25 mins. Go here all the time now and its been the same good quality each time. Crispy Beef is so good, and even stays crispy the next day unlike so many other Chinese restaurants!! Love love love

Food was bland chips turned up cold we only live 2 mins up the road will not be ordering again do you guys actually put any flavours in your food I've ate better food in prison will avoid it like the plague

Late delivery, cold food and no flavour, should of stuck with what we know but a friend said it had improved. Obviously not

The worst meals we've had chicken not cooked and no flaver and dry chow main. Asked for a cheese and onion omelette and chips guess what no onion. Use to be nice but no more so won't even get fish and chips fro here as standard has gone from about 8-9 down to not even 2 and that's being nice

I would like to say a massive thank you to the guy that delivered to mine 27th Feb 21. He delivered our food, we paid him then had another knock at door to say we gave a tenner to much. There isn't many of them about. Good man 👍

Their food is fairly good which is the important thing! Whenever they give you a collection time though, don't think it will be accurate, was told 15, took 40!

Excellent no fuss service. Very clean premises. Very friendly staff. Meals are prepared quickly. Large portions, so much so that some individual meals are sufficient for two. Extensive menu with enough English meals included if required.

Food arrived after nearly 2 hours! Then there was actually food missing which I apparently never ordered in the first place. Chips looked like they had be refried endless times and were completely inedible. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Very disappointed will not be returning again

I would of scored 1 but the extra star is respect for the original owners, it use to be so good when I was a kid but when the original owners left it went downhill so fast. The curry was my favourite but now it has no spice now and gives a horrible feeling in the back of your throat the more you eat. I gave this place too many chances but no more

Order here all the time. Good is great, my favourite takeaway for my fav dish. But just had the new menu through and the prices have just gone up away too steep for my liking. Add the odd 10 to 20p to a dish yes.

We have fish & chips and they're amazing. The portion sizes are HUGE and delicious

I will never go to this takeaway again I am part of a large family we placed an order for £30+ fast delivery was the only good thing about this order even then that's not a complement order got messed up had an item missing that I no full well i asked for and asked to exchange the sweet and sour sauce for curry sauce, it was a mistake so I rang them up and politely enquired about it, the guy I spoke to was arrogant and rude but said he will drop it right items up so I let it go, 15 minutes later he still wasn't here bare in mind the establishment was only down the road from me, by this point my family's food was stone cold, when I rang back I got accused of being a lier and the way he spoke to me was disgusting he didn't care in the slightest was arguing on the phone with me and at one point I think I heard him laugh, he was talking to his college over me and didn't care about anything I was saying just wanted me to get of the phone I work in customer service and I would never speak to a customer the way I've been spoke to and treated, I will never go here again, but the chicken balls were nice since that was the only part of our large family order that wasn't stone cold, absolutely appalling!!!

I Would rate the rude service of this establishment as 0 star not even one. Our takeaway order came to over £32. When it was delivered they did not send the curry sauce we ordered and also the supposed free bottle of drink they advertise on their leaflets. My daughter rang Nan King and got a lot of attitude from the staff but they agreed to deliver the curry sauce and free drink. WE live just down the road from this takeaway yet it took them 15 mins to deliver the curry sauce meaning our food was now cold. My daughter rang again after 15 mins and was rudely spoken to by the staff. They ignored what she was saying and talked over her. This is appalling customer service and we will never use this shop again. I am part of a large family who regularly place orders at least twice a week but we will never place an order with them again.
