Always good, collection & cash only but once you get over that it's excellent Prawn toast perhaps the best around, crispy beef too

Don’t accept cards, absolute joke

Pure sugar and msg, no vegetables, no flavour. I asked for extra vegetables was 50p. I wanted chopsticks another 50p very weird and expensive tbh. Don't accept card only cash. They're asking a lot and giving nothing. I won't go back.

Chicken in the sweet and sour chicken balls tastes awful. Dumplings tasted frozen and were undercooked

Usually go to this takeaway a couple of time a week, I feel I have been very loyal to them (even when their prices increased) But this evening I was very disappointed with the service. After ordering the same thing EVERYTIME, I got a completely different order. When I told them, the (part-owner) was not interested and even walked away from me while I was talking. She was very rude, couldn't be bothered (more rude than usual ) and I am now in receipt of something I just don't want or like. Not using them again and nor will any of my friends or family.

Ordered a lemon chicken, got home and realised was given pineapple chicken instead. Cashier seemed miserable and the fact they only accept cash seems dodgy. Food was okay. But wouldn’t come back.

I've been using Pearl City for years, the value for money is unbelievable.

You get what you pay for. Food is okay!! The lady there she never smile!!! 50p for chopsticks £1 for chilli oil on top of that cash only and unfriendly service. Don’t expect much as it is a cheap takeout!!!

The food is ok. Not the best, but by no means the worst..

Its hit and miss...Its not AMAZING but it's ok.Sometimes the food is nice sometimes you can tell they have burnt it abit .Some times the curry sauce is abit spicy , sometimes it's not. Sometimes for what ever reason in a CHICKEN fried rice they put egg with it other times there is so much egg more than chicken I'm questioning what I brought??.. I like egg but there really isnt no need to mix egg with a chicken dish if you didnt ask for it. Some advice.If you dont like egg done come here cause I'm pretty sure everything revolves around egg.Maybe so they dont have to keep washing their wok between orders who knows!

Very disappointing. Chips were not proper chips they were normal supermarket chips. And spring rolls were small. Not good value for money. Won’t be going again.

Says they deliver online but have to ring up to put order in so I rang and the bloke told me they don’t do delivery and they don’t have a website clearly inexperienced staff I’ve used them for a few years after the way the bloke spoke to me I’m going to find somewhere else.

Great place, be going here for years. Food fresh and plenty full. Job to find better chinese takeaway locally. Only take cash strange this day and age also with covid.

Love this place, the best lemon chicken, Singapore chow mein and salt n pepper chicken! Love it!

Ten out of ten. The sauces are thick but not starchy. Best Satay in bristol. Salt and pepper breaded fried squid is amazing. Huge portions of rice. Far better than the other places nearby. Really good ratio of chicken to sauce to vegetables. not over loaded with veggies. The perfect mix in my opinion. The vegetarian options are great also, very nicely fried tofu which tastes great with the sauces. I get food from here every week and always regret being lazy and ordering online with someone else as its never as good. lovely staff, wish I could give them a tip and a hug! I would recommend these people over my friends business (don't tell them) hehe.

Good Chinese ideally placed for Fishponds, Staple Hill, Kingswood and surrounding areas. Open 7 days a week (very handy as many others close Monday/Tuesday) Varied menu (attached) and set meals at reasonable prices, all the dishes can be tailored you your liking, even the set meals. All are delicious (and I've tried a few!) One point is cash only but atm just outside, and plenty of parking. Also close to other takeaways so you can mix and match for all your family members and friends. Free prawn crackers too if you spend over £10. You can't go wrong.😋

Good takeaway option for Fishponds area. Relatively fast delivery, good portion sizes and great tasting food. However beware this is a cash only business if not ordering online

I just ordered Singapore noodle (chow mien) when I got it, it tasted like spaghetti and sauce. The pork wasn’t well done even though I gave clear instructions to be cooked well and extra spicy. I am not happy with my order at all. I usually stick to my Singapore fried rice but I just wanted a change and nah. Waste of money and not happy at all. Spoke to one of the workers at Pearl’s but wasn’t helpful at all. Not happy as I had to settle for chips and fish instead.

Food is amazing the fact Pearl City has been there years is testimony to how good the food is. Orders are prepared quickly. Cash only but there is a cashpoint just next door and at the CoOp just up the road.

Clean, nice diverse menu and good service. Food is a little pricey but that's easy over looked by the quality. One of the best takeaway/fast food joints in the area.

Very reasonable prices. Delicious range of authentic Chinese dishes. My favourite is the Singapore fried rice. If you like it spicy, ask for extra hot.

We didn't have Chinese. But had chips and sausages. It was inedible chips weren't cooked through. Sausages tastes all cereal and spices. Couldn't taste any meat. Even dog turned her nose away.

Always great food and good service with complimentary fortune cookies and crackers. We have been using them for a decade. They listen if you want no beansprouts or not too much veg. Good safe chinese with 5 star hygiene too.

I was served by a very impatient young chap who then forgot to give me one of my orders. I only noticed when I got home and should have checked before I left the takeaway shop. The food was also not that good and I will never be going back there again !

The food is really tasty, but is very oily and can be hit and miss. I also doubt the quality of the food, certain dishes however e.g. crispy chilli beef, sweet and sour chicken - are really delicious.

Excellent food and the shrimp crackers are amazing and I just found out that they make it to their own recipe!
