Namaste Cambridge in Cambridge

First visit to this restaurant. Really interesting and different food on offer. My vegetarian korma was lovely and all our food was well cooked and delicious. Very attentive staff. Liked it and will return

racist rude disesopectfull -staff , food is ok , staff need to be trained in communication i asked for my food , one guy started saying no , i paid for the food , he's telling me no wait, pretending i didn't pay, also he assumed was a delivery driver racially profiling me , next to realise im a british born

I used to be a fan of Namaste cambridge till few months back, but oflate my opinion started changing in opposite direction simply because the kind of food they are delivering these days is completely on downhill; several times I noticed they unflinchingly send refrigirated food, last sunday we ordered lassi, but they sent some kheer which is again refrigirated one; I tried to complain by leaving voice messages, but it falls on deaf ears, so thought of writing a review so that message will be delivered loud and clear; NC is on total downhill these days and I dont recommend it at all

We tried Namaste Cambridge for the first time this evening and were delighted with the food. It’s SO much better than the run of the mill food you get at most Indian restaurants. Apparently the menu changes daily and the food is cooked fresh each day. We particularly liked the chicken 65, the bhindi tomato curry, the veg dum biryani and the mirchi ka salan. The portions are good and the man who served us (it’s takeaway or delivery only) was very friendly. We will definitely go back another day to try different dishes.

Loved all the food. Flavorsome and fresh. Friendly staff. Lovely decorations and treats and cups! Yummy, yummy, yummy!

This is just Wow! Delicious food at very affordable prices .I must say honestly felt like the food at home ,one of my favourites is fried piece Biryani. Special thanks to all the people working and running this firm to serve the taste that people love to eat .When my mom is here in UK I will definitely not let her miss this guys. No second thought but will have to plan for next dinner from your menu by this weekend . Overall the best decision I made to try the food at this very best place. Excellent experience, good selection of vegetarian choices, food was really tasty, glad we booked in a advance as it was busy. We had a non vegetarian with us and they said they’ definitely be back too.

I wrote a review but missed out that we had 2 poppadoms and a pickle tray, but still £51 was very expensive for that, 2 drinks, 2 starters, one main and one rice

Not for those who have some basic idea about Indian cuisine. We only like the bhelpuri chat, but the papri chat is also not very good. Hard to find veggies in a veg curry and the taste is not good at all. The naan looks like papadam. Moreover, the quantity is not sufficient and overpriced.

Best value take-away authentic Indian food I have ever found. Mostly delivery but you can collect from the kitchen door. The customers (from what I can see on a popular search engine's own reviews) tend to be Indian students. Costs are kept down by batch-cooking and not having a high-street presence. Food therefore will probably need reheating once home. Menus vary daily. Lots of veggie options. Meat is usually chicken and sometimes mutton (guys, could you do goat?). Spice level is high. Portions are generous.

We tried this Indian Take away food on two occasions. They only provide takeaway food. The food can be ordered via the website, and it changes based on availability. The food is south Indian, but some North Indian Dishes are available as well. As they prepare limited quantities some of the dishes get sold out by the late afternoon. Unfortunately, No Tandoori meat dishes are available.
