Disfrutamos de un gran almuerzo familiar en este restaurante. La comida era buena al igual que el ambiente. El servicio fue excelente. Desafortunadamente mi padre anciano se sintió mal justo después de terminar nuestra comida debido a un problema de salud en curso y el personal era muy amable y servicial y llamó a una ambulancia para él. Nos apoyaron mucho en todo momento.

Called to enquire about delivery services, a very rude lady hung up the phone while I was mid sentence about to ask where they are based so I can collect it When I called back not even an apology, will not be dining with yourselves, if you can't even train staff how to speak to customers!!

Quality of food is below average, small portions, staff id charging you extra for nothing. Would not recommend, there are far better indian places around

The food is gorgeous, the rice portions are smaller that the take-away version though so get 1 each. Ask for the can of coke though to be brought to the table, I'm pretty sure we were charged for 2 cans but we're given 1 and a half and topped up with ice

Lovely food especially as I haven’t seen some dishes on any menu before! But the lamb cooked with apricots was so rich and silky with a little heat .

If you like Indian cuisine, don't come in!

Order wasn’t ready after saying ready to collect for 10 or so minutes and was missing one of the naans ordered. Food v good however.

Impeccable service, all the staff are friendly and attentive. We had a starter to share then two dishes, everything is served in containers in the center of the table so super practical for sharing and tasting everything! This was the best biryani I've had in years (and I'm a fan of this dish). A big thank you for this wonderful time, we highly recommend!

Saturday evening 8pm booking. Arrived on time not to be shown to a table but a shrug and you can have this one. No drinks order taken for 20mins and only because we asked. 2 starters and poppadoms which we asked to come together all arrived separately after we'd finished each one. No more drinks offered, luckily we were sat near the bar so could catch the attention of the bar server. Only certain staff can take drinks orders so if you ask the wrong one you have to catch another one that can(same for food) Table was right near where the delivery drivers kept coming in every 10 mins with the huge bags on their backs. When we booked we were asked if it was a birthday, date or special occasion, I don't know why as there was not so much as a candle on the table. All said, we enjoyed the food. A couple of the staff were nice but in the main they were inattentive and a little bit rude. Maybe would be better for a takeaway.

5 stars: excellent! I wanted vegan food, and they said that they take the cream out of the process of doing it. 4 people ate and was amazed by the quality of food. The price is decent.

Visitando a nuestro hijo que vive en Camden, y ordenó una comida para llevar de Namaaste Kitchen. Absolutamente increíble! El menú es extenso y todo lo que pedimos era delicioso! El pollo tikka masala fue 10 de cada diez, el mejor que he probado!! Sin duda vale la pena intentarlo! Y pediremos de nuevo cuando volvamos.

If you ever visit London, you should definitely eat here. Delicious food, friendly service and certainly not expensive. Top location!

Decent little curry house just off the main drag, great service and staff too. Can't complain about any of the food as everyone was happy. It's small and quiet so good for a quiet meal out. Unfortunately for the other patrons during our visit we were a bit noisy i guess (but not excessive or problematic) and again the staff handled us well and professionally. Well recommended.

Esta no es la primera vez que visitamos Namaaste Kitchen, fuimos por primera vez hace unos 3 años en un viaje a Londres y cada vez que volvemos siempre hacemos tiempo para una visita. La comida es excepcional, algunos de los mejores alimentos indios que he tenido. Los tamaños de las porciones son grandes, entrantes y principales. Los naans siempre están esponjosos y cocinados bien. No puedo recomendar esto lo suficiente. Puede reservar en línea y aconsejaría reservar ya que siempre está ocupado cuando hemos estado.

Visited early Saturday evening. Made to feel very welcome! The service was excellent and the food was awesome! Best Indian meal I have gad in a long time. Highly recommended

Came here with some friends for my birthday and we had a great time! The food was delicious with good portions and they even brought out a free dessert for my birthday :)

Extremely inappropriate to berate a customer who refuses to pay for service charge. Very immature manager who needs to trust his waiters more in doing their job instead of interfering and taking up space. Also, hygiene is a massive problem here, mould on the menu, food that tastes off and smelly toilets. Will never eat in Camden ever again yikes

We visited Namaaste as a group of nine to celebrate a friend’s birthday. From the start, we handed a cake to the staff, asking them to keep it safe and bring it out later for the celebration. Our waiter struggled to keep track of everything and had to confirm the order multiple times to make sure it was correct. We didn’t mind too much at the time, but looking back, it was a sign of what was to come. Our drinks took about 45 minutes to arrive, and the starters took almost two hours. When they finally came, the quality was disappointing. I ordered masala chips, which are usually a favourite of mine, but these were undercooked and tasted like they’d just been tossed in a bit of sauce – barely resembling the dish I was expecting. When I asked for them to be properly cooked, the waiter seemed confused and asked if I wanted them “well done.” When the rest of the starters came out, more complaints followed. Most of us felt our food wasn’t fresh, with some items seeming like they’d been reheated in a microwave. This didn’t set high hopes for the main course, and sure enough, when the mains arrived 30 minutes after the starters, the quality was just as poor. Although I was hungry enough to finish my meal, it was hardly enjoyable. Throughout the evening, the waitstaff were inattentive and unapologetic. As we were celebrating, we decided not to make too much fuss, but at the end of the night we chose not to pay the service charge given the poor experience. The manager took serious offence, arguing loudly with us in front of other customers. He insisted that we’d been treated well, mentioning things like taking our photo for free and giving us a “free” curry – which we hadn’t asked for. Things escalated further when he returned our birthday cake box, which we’d asked them to keep safe, covered in curry and food debris from the bin. Despite explaining why we felt the service charge was unwarranted, he became increasingly rude and even told us we were banned from returning to his restaurant. In short, it was a frustrating experience. Save your time and money. Atmosphere was also terrible and they could do with renovating the place, the menu had mould all over it, the toilets were scary, the menu was huge (which should have told us to go elsewhere) and we might owe him 63p because the manager can’t do simple maths and made it our problem. Response to manager: Thank you for your response, but it doesn’t fully address the issues we experienced or the behaviour we encountered. Firstly, we were respectful throughout our visit, even during a frustrating experience. Our group simply declined the service charge after long delays and subpar food quality, and we attempted to explain this calmly when asked. Unfortunately, instead of listening professionally, the manager reacted defensively and put on a spectacle for other diners, making the situation needlessly uncomfortable. Regarding the cake packaging, rather than respectfully declining our request to keep it safe, the manager repeatedly stated that he’d thrown the cake box in the bin and returned it to us covered in curry. This was especially disappointing, as the cake was meant for a birthday celebration, and his handling of it seemed careless and dismissive. You shouldn’t have shouted at my friend like that. His attitude also seemed inconsistent. Before we declined the service charge, he was very friendly, even suggesting the birthday girl “take him out” to celebrate and making comments about receiving special treatment because it was “also his birthday.” This came across as inappropriate and unprofessional, especially in a business setting. Finally, it’s worth noting that we aren’t the first to have had issues with the manager’s reaction to feedback. Other reviews mention similar incidents, which suggest a pattern of defensiveness when customers express dissatisfaction. A constructive response would have gone a long way in handling this situation, and we would have appreciated a more respectful approach. You can find reviews mentioning a ‘compulsory service charge’

Don’t go if you want to be abused and scolded at by the manager for not opting in to pay service charge. Bear in mind we had to wait over an hour for our food, had to ask for some plates to be reheated and being given non fresh microwaved food. So we was in our right to not pay the service charge despite paying the rest of the bill the manager was so confrontational infront of costumers it was really upsetting and embarrassing

Very flavorful. Highly recommend the stuffed portobello mushrooms and Schezwan prawns. Very friendly staff.

Really loved my experience here! The service is top notch, the place itself is cozy, not much hustle to get a table and the food is really really good, it really keeps the flavors of the authentic Indian food! The garlic naan was delicious and the chicken tikka masala was soooooo goood!!! Sadly I couldn’t try the chai since they don’t prepare it with alternative milks! And if you let know the staff about your allergies or food restrictions they will really take care of you! Definitely going to try it again!

A great spot if you want to try Indian food that's different from the usual options. The jackfruit rice is amazing, the duck in Parsi style is a standout, and the paneer is just perfect – definitely worth a try! The excellent service is something that really deserves a mention!

Quite possibly the worst service I have ever received in any restaurant in London. Orders taken incorrectly, argumentative and abrasive staff when we brought this up. The food was mediocre at best. Avoid at all costs if you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Lunchtime on a Friday. We walked in and it was empty. My friend wanted to leave but I was sick of the rain. Glad we stayed as it was the best food, great staff, good prices too considering it is in the middle of a tourist area. DELICIOUS!

Wasn’t good. Paneer tikka starter was okay but still overpriced. Samosas were tiny and only 2, it was like a joke. Korma was atrocious; like frozen or canned veg cooked in some coconut milk and loads of sugar. Breads tasted old. Service was just ok.

Es war nett. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Denke, dass es authentisch indische Küche war. Die Auswahl war riesig. Dauerte bis ich mir einen Überblick verschafft habe. Bin dann bei den „Empfehlungen“ geblieben. Die Bezeichnung „hot“ war durchaus spicy, aber nicht übertrieben scharf. Kann das Restaurant empfehlen. Einzig: Wenn sie heiße Teller bringen, sollte das Essen dann auch gleich kommen.

Very nice restaurant, quiet and calm. Servers were attentive and even offered to replace a drink if it was too spicy (spicy mango cocktail). Food came out quickly and nice and hot. Would come again.

I was looking for a wonderful place to have dinner, and suddenly I found the best of the best in London. Super delicious food, number "1" attention, cleanliness, beautiful place to come with the family, I recommend it 100% Happy experience.

We ate early and restaurant wasn’t busy, but food was amazing! Best samosas chaat I’ve had and the special was really tasty and chicken tender. I eat a lot of Indian food and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful place for food and drinks

Great food, I had the lamb shank, my wife the palaak paneer, and my child the chicken tikka masala. All of it was great, very flavorful.

The mutton rice is rich in flavor and comes with a small bowl of homemade yogurt. The staple naan is very soft and delicious with curry sauce. If the appetite is not big, one portion is enough for two girls.
