Absolutely banging food! Enjoyed the experience with the great members of staff. Biryani cooked to perfection and the butter chicken melted in my mouth! Reminds me of the very same warm atmosphere back in India!

Horrible place. They only want money, don't care for anything else. Very far from the warm and welcoming Indian hospitality I've experienced during my extensive travels throughout that wonderful country. I would recommend everyone to go to another place. Update Jan 28: They took my drinks away from my table and almost chased me out of the restaurant. I then immediately wrote the above mentioned review and went around to find a better restaurant in the neighbourhood (Villa Drommond!). About 15 minutes later one of their employees followed me, asking to withdraw the review. He went so far as to grab my suitcase while I was walking to make me stop. Only when I loudly started screaming for help did he let me go my way. Can't get much worse I suppose.

We had such a lovely meal. The food is fabulous, the team just so friendly and helpful. Wonderful meal, we will be back!!

Lovely food. Nice to have a Jalfrezi with a little kick as well as awesome flavour. Onion bhaji could do with some more mint yoghurt. Overall a very nice experience and at a sensible price.

Very nice place to dine in with you friends and family if you crave authentic indian and bengali cuisine. Being a bangladeshi in UK and trying their food reminded me of home. The atmosphere was very close to home and their staff is very hospitable. They offered me extra drinks afterwards. Very nice place. Highly recommended.

Taste of India in Euston isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a spiritual experience disguised as a curry house. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted like long-lost royalty (or at least like someone who tips well). The waiter, who deserves an Oscar for Best Supporting Role in Hospitality, recommended dishes like he was matchmaking me with my soulmate. Spoiler: He was right every time. The lamb chops? Life-changing. The mixed grill? I’m still dreaming about it. And the naan? It deserves its own postcode. The vibe is so warm and inviting that you’ll want to set up camp there permanently. Taste of India isn’t just the best Indian food I’ve had; it’s the kind of place where you eat until you’re stuffed, then somehow convince yourself there’s room for just one more bite. Go there. Order everything. Thank me later.

One of the worst food ever had and they charge service tax of 10% and don't fall for name india it is not Indian restaurant. You didn't even allow customer to check the bill on top of that saying I expect you to read mind. I specially mentioned that we love spicy but we didn't get what we asked for also the biryani is not Hyderabad dum biryani it tasted like pulav

Definitely not authentic taste! Don't be fooled by the rating. The dal makhani tasted like sprouts, the panner was like jalebi sweet, the lamb was hard and chicken was absolutely tasteless. I would give 0 stars if possible. Idk if they have bangladeshi chefs or gujrati chefs but the taste is nowhere close to even dhaba taste.

We decided to try Taste of India as we were staying around the corner and had read some favourable reviews. My wife, my son and I came this evening and really enjoyed ourselves. Lovely food, great service from Raj, and really nice atmosphere. My son said it was the best Butter Chicken he had tasted by far. My wife loved the Lamb Shank Rogan Josh (not on the menu) that Raj recommended for her, and I was really happy with my Chicken (Tikka) Jalfrezi. All in all, a fantastic Indian restaurant, lovely food, very nice ambience on a Friday evening, and wonderful service from warm and friendly staff. Will come again for sure next time we visit London!

A great place for a curry, 5 minutes walk from Euston station. The food was good, delivered quickly and the waiting staff were friendly without being intrusive. Raj was amusing with his compliments. There was even a Christmas special lamb shank biriyani. The clientele were a mix of nationalities - regulars, tourists & train passengers. I thought the prices reasonable for London.

The starters were done as sharing plates and we had a superb mix. the shaslick was exceptionally good. The menu choices were excellent and the specials were explained well. I had the Lamb shank Biryani and , wow, just wow for how moist and tender the meat was- it literally fell off the bone. the vegetable curry that came with it was really good too and just the right amount. We ordered some paneer masala and Matar Paneer and I don't normally like paneer dishes but these were really really good too. A good selection of poppadoms and chutney/Raita/onion salad/lime pickle. ( The Lime pickle was really really good) . There was Kingfisher on Draught and also Cobra was available. I dont drink so tried the Lassi. can heartily recommend the Mango lassi ! . In short 10/10 and you should make an effort to go here. We will be back !

What a find. We were perusing the local options and stumbled across this gem, a stone’s throw away from the tube station. All the classics were on point. Jalfrezi? Yes. Prawn bhuna? Yes again. Chicken tikka? Succulent. Fantastic service and an unforgettable evening. Will be returning.

Food was amazing!!! We had the lamb chop with garlic/cheese naan and saffran rice, to share with 2 people. It was more than enough. The waiter gave us good suggestions.

A really pleasant meal. Service was quick and very welcoming, patient, and friendly. The food was excellent, lots of sauce with the poppadoms, high-quality dishes of a very high standard. Service could have been a bit more attentive, but we weren't rushed at all, and had a lovely rice pudding dessert. Atmosphere was very relaxing and spacious. Highly recommended for a Christmas catch-up or party !!!

Splendid evening with friends, good food and excellent service. We were made to feel very welcome. Chef is flexible and able to tweak dishes to accommodate individual requests. We would certainly visit again on our next visit to London.

I have been coming here once a month for years. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Raj and Majib always look after us, we always feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble.

My friend and I visit once a month without fail. If I could give 10 stars I would!! Raj is A-mazing! He recommends dishes and is so attentive. I have tried lamb, chicken and veg dishes and everything is so tasty. Superb customer service and definitely worth a visit!

Really enjoyed the Lamb shank with Naga sauce, very tasty, will be back. I dined early as travelling back from nearby Euston. Service was good and not long to wait for my meal.

This spot is wonderful for a dinner with friends! I can’t recommend a better Butter Chicken in London. If you’re looking for a delicious meal with warm staff and a stunning atmosphere there’s nowhere I could recommend more highly!

Hyderabadi biriyani tasted like home made tomato rice with chicken.. and the attitude of the guy who served us made the whole atmosphere worse.. the guy was too rude and made us too uncomfortable.. no one can stand the attitude of that guy.. we are not sure if he is the owner of the place.. even then he can’t behave like this.. so bad experience . Even the one star rating is too much for this place..

I have eaten here a few times, the food and atmosphere are not bad. Unfortunately, the service lets it down severely. I visited the other week and was greeted at the door. I politely asked whether there were any lunch time deals on (I was visiting at around 1pm. The restaurant was empty). I was abruptly told no that they do not offer any offers whatsoever. This in itself is not an issue, however, the surprised look on my face was clearly seen and I was aggressively told to "go to that place if you want a deal" whilst pointing past my face towards another curry house and ushering us away from the door. Rather strange and rude behaviour to a potential customer. If you don't offer any deals just politely say so and we'll move on. We proceeded to the other restaurant and got a lunch time deal... Will not be, attempting to, visit again.

We chose to eat here as even though they didn't have any dishes labelled vegan on the menu, the man at the door told us they could cater for me. Unfortunately, I was told the vegetable samosa was vegan, but then it came with yoghurt on the same plate. As the yoghurt was just on the salad not the samosas i didn't send it back, but it was disappointing to be told incorrectly that it was vegan when it wasn't. I had to ask for separate tamarind sauce without yoghurt in it, and I couldn't eat the salad, the samosa was also a bit soggy tbh. For main I had the binda vegetable dish and a chapati, it was OK, not really to my taste and the chapati was a bit chewy. My friends got meat dishes and naan each and they said it was just OK, not great. They were slow at bringing the bill and coming to collect payment. Overall not a great experience for us I'm afraid, I would avoid if you're vegan as they either don't seem to understand or care. Also probably not suitable if you have other dietary requirements as the menu just has 'A' for allergens next to some dishes, but it didn't say which allergens are present in which dishes and it definitely wasn't next to every dish that had one of the main allergens so it's not clear what it's meant to indicate.

Thank you so much for a wonderful evening! We took my elderly parents on a Friday night and had impeccable service. Busy but quiet enough that we could still hear each other! Friendly staff, delicious food, generous portions with prompt service. No pressure selling and charming atmosphere. Happy to let us sit and chat with no pressure to leave!
