The korma and tikka masala was well accompanied with a peshwari naan. Amazing food and tolerable spice levels. And we received complimentary desserts which were delightful.

I used to order food regularly from Monsoon, but never again! The lamb dish was as hard as old boots, I'm not even sure that it was lamb! I was very concerned that I might chip my teeth on it. Needless to say, it went in the bin.

La comida es sencillamente excepcional: cada plato está elaborado con sabores auténticos e ingredientes frescos. Recomiendo encarecidamente el langostino rey de Manchuria, ya que fue uno de los mejores que he probado! El servicio es impecable, haciéndote sentir valorado y cuidado durante toda tu comida. Además, los precios son muy razonables para tan alta calidad! No puedo esperar a volver a Monzón para otra experiencia gastronómica increíble. Absolutely love the food from Monsoon. Always delicious with great portion size. However, this is the first time I have ordered the samosa starter and I was disappointed that there were only two very small pieces in the bag. For almost £5 a portion I did not think this was value for money. Add at least one more samosa to portion! Otherwise very happy with the food. Thank you!

Food arrived over 30 minutes late, wasn’t very hot.

It normally comes with salad but you haven’t sent any today.

Every year the first Christmas card of the season arrives early in December from Monsoon. It includes a discount for a meal costing over £30. Every year we fail to spend enough to use the discount. A lot of things, including restaurant prices, have changed since covid so we are optimistic about next year. One of the reasons for the low prices is that Monsoon does not have a licence to serve alcohol. Luckily any kind of beer or wine is available two doors down. Apart from alcohol Monsoon has everything you need and the dishes are tasty and generous. If you ask the waiters will offer, very good, suggestions from the long and varied menu. The atmosphere in the small dining area is relaxed and comfortable. The staff are well-organised and the food arrives quickly while you watch the take-aways leaving the kitchen. Today we shared one meat and one vegetable dish, cucumber raita, rice, nann bread and poppadoms. We managed to achieve a bill of £33 but, sadly, the discount expired a long time ago.

Monsoon never fails to disappoint, delicious food and generous portions. The staff are very hospitable and friendly, you can tell the chefs are skilled and care about the food they cook. Nice gem in the Tufnell Park / Highgate area. Highly recommended.

It was my first experience with Monsoon Kentish Town. I must say, food was excellent, delicious and good portion. Prompt and courteous service. Furthermore, reasonable prices. I wouldn't ask more. I will definitely order from this restaurant in the future and would certainly recommend.

Accepted my order via just eat. Courier calls me well after the time it was meant to be delivered to say the address was too far away and they don’t deliver that far, even though they accepted the order knowing the address and it’s only 3 miles away. Very unhelpful staff overall.

Always use Monsoon and have for many years but on this occasion I ordered 3 chicken dishes and the chicken was tough on each chicken dish which was a complete surprise because their standards are usually way above this

All dishes can be cooked vegan. Particularly good was the vegetable jalfrezi.

The tikka massala was very bland with no flavour or spice.

I ordered a lamb masala and got a chicken korma.. Which i just checked is actually cheaper so not the best for the first time I’ve ordered from this place.

Recommended by a good friend and it didn’t disappoint! Amazing flavours, portion sizes (had to bring some of the good stuff home!) and reasonable price. BYOB - there’s a great off licence a couple doors down with a great selection of wines beers and ciders. Will definitely be back again and order online :-)

We have been looking for a new curry house, since our local one closed. I was very impressed with the Lamb dhansak,and the sauce with the chicken madras was great, but the chicken was slightly chewy. Will definitely give you another try.

Tasty, delicious Lamb Biryani and Bombay Potato, and ver decent portion sizes. Would definitely order again.

Quality of the food was very good

Ordered on a Saturday evening, delivered in 30 minutes. Good sized portions, and two out of three dishes were excellent, but the third was terrible. Chani Puri (starter) and Beigan Masala were both delicious. However, Chilli "Ponir" was just awful. Huge chunks of white onion and an insipid, bland sauce accompanied paneer that somehow managed to be even blander. The whole dish tasted of almost nothing, and was far and away the worst chilli paneer I have ever tasted. Five stars for the good dishes, but minus two for the bad one.

Fairly tasteless and bland Chicken Tikka Masala

Restaurant accepts orders from 5 miles away, delivery driver complains that I shouldn't have ordered because they only delivery 3 miles away. Said that next time they would not deliver it and that I would need to contact just eat for a refund. Extremely rude, and should not be accepting orders of they say its too far away and will complain. Great food, shame that the service is abysmal.

After a long time I was recommended by my friend for takeout at this restaurant Monsoon York Rise NW5 . The Chef done it exactly how I wanted my dishes to be . A1 delicious Dansak/ Karahi/ Sag Aloo perfect bit of a kick to my throat lovely Thank you we’ll come back.

Absolutely disgusting food, customer service … so so rude and adamant that spending £50 for something like crap’ in a Tupperware box was ok & out right refused to re deliver most of our items that was drenched in floating oils & looked nothing like any Indian I have ever seen before. Said ‘next time we make it right’ This food was not fit to eat. After refusing to compromise I asked for a refund which was another blatant ‘NO’ I did end up getting part refund after a very long task !!! Bottom line is AVOID this restaurant at all costs Nasty nasty nasty vile place, people & FOOD !!!

Unfortunately, meat samosas delivered instead of vegetable. This has happened before which is why it is such a long time since we last ordered. Please pay attention. Vegetarian diner could not eat the start he had ordered.

Terrible take away. Had used them before and were loyal however, after tonight’s experience, I would rather starve then use them again. Rude, arrogant, refused a refund over raw keema naan and a tikka masala that looked and tasted like a Korma. Food was not fresh either, especially when it took 10 minutes to arrive.

Regularly eat in and takeaway from here. It's always fantastic but the most recent one was the best curry I've ever had, so decided to leave my first ever review. Simply Lovleh
