They were exceptionally kind and the food was excellent. I ate the sag paneer and chicken tikka masala, which were sweeter than what I normally eat in the U.S., but very satisfying after a long rainy day. This restaurant and their food makes me happy. 😊😋

I ordered through Uber Eats and the delivery was earlier than expected, they’ve been so quick! The food was amazing so tasty and delicious. I recommend the chicken korma (my absolute favourite) and the sag paneer (I loved it). I did delivery as I’m at home with flu and I got a free mint sauce and papadums which made me very happy thank you guys, looking forward to come to the restaurant in person. Ludovica R

Was a slight discrepancy after the starter about food between myself and staff but the way it was handled was perfect! The main was delicious which I ate in store and the rest at home. Great family business

Ate there with my family the other night and loved it; we will go back. Wonderful family-run spot. Service was warm, friendly, and professional, the best we've had at any Indian/South Asian restaurant in London. The ambience is a bit more elegant than a typical neighborhood curry house in the same price range. The food is excellent and original. The Tawa family recipe we had was delicious, as was the Butter Murg chicken. The pilau rice is excellent, and the Naan pillowy and bubbly. The food is beautifully presented. We were disappointed that they didn't have the draught beer, but perhaps that was because we arrived early in the week. Its even better than the busier Indian restaurant two doors down (which is also good, though my family found the dishes there a tad too much on the sweet side). Can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes.

Good food delivery all tasted really good.

I ordered dhal and saag aloo and asked the restaurant to avoid adding oil or spice and they did exactly that. I’m south Asian myself so I can tell the difference when I eat Indian food and the food tasted great! I’m pregnant so felt nauseous all day but some good vegetarian food has helped to curb this.

Our favourite restaurant for many years. Friendly personal service and sustained excellent quality food. We often bring family from abroad who always ask to return. Really love their Tawa disihes, which are based on their Grandmothers recipe. Also lovely vegetable, Niramish. These dishes are exclusive to them.

We have eaten here many times now as our son is in hospital nearby. The food is really fresh and good. The staff especially Kareem are always polite and pleasant. We have eaten there and been the only customers eating in but they are always busy with takeaways. Definitely a great place

This order got me the stamp discount, 10% off from each of the previous 5 orders, Mine totalled £31, I've tried using the discount and ordered 6 times, Every occasion they cancelled the order, I'm not a big discount person but if you're going to offer discounts then you need to honour them, I won't be using them again.

Ordered via Uber eats delivery. Food was disappointing, my curry was extremely watery (I had to pour a lot away because it was just flavoured water), the flavours weren't anything special and the chicken was overcooked. Definitely won't be ordering from here again, such an underwhelming meal.

Extremely rude staff who refused to serve us food and give us our takeaway after we seeked clarification on the bill. The bill was incorrect due to their negligence and providing us the wrong menu. Poor service and hospitality. Would very not recommend it.

Extremely rude behavior by the management. As a customer I sought a clarification about the price discrepancy, and the hostel staff took it rather personally. The clarification sought was genuine in the sense that the waiter forgot to hand us the new menu when we opted for takeaway instead of dine-in. Instead of acknowledging this lapse, the hotel staff seemed charged to get into a confrontation. Probably he was taking out his angst on how his restaurant was empty on a Sunday evening. Well, if you are rude to customers!

These guys take an hour to prepare food despite saying it will take 20 minutes to be delivered. Food is good - but don’t bother ordering unless you’re happy to wait all night for your food.

The food was good but I personally didn’t think it was amazing, the service was friendly and attentive although we were the only people there (it was a Monday night). I thought it was a bit more expensive than it should be but we know prices have gone up in recent times, service charge was 12.5%, I think 10% would suffice for this location and restaurant.

This place has great quality food, and good value per portion. We have only had delivery a few times,however if its so good after being delivered im.sure it's even better in the restaurant when fresh to the table. If you're in hampstead it's worth a visit.

Went by the review only to be really disappointed with the quality - veg balti was very oily and full of onions with frozen veggies used. Tadka dal barely had taste of masoor dal. Nothing like what you see on the website. Naan was stretchy and stale. Would not recommend. Tasted more Bangladeshi style cuisine than Indian.

One of the best Indian restaurants we've ordered from in London. We ordered a Garlic chicken curry and Aaloo Saag. Both dishes were very delicious. I went there to collect my order, and the staff was very respectful, polite and friendly. 5 stars for food and hospitality.

Average run of the mill indian, a little too bland for me, lacking flavour. 5 star reviews must be lacking sensory taste buds or barely eat out. Correct me if I'm wrong, try it.

We were served by two lovely gentleman who were attentive and checked in regularly. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was fresh, delicious, and well priced. Cannot recommend enough! The staff are happy to make adaptations depending on preferences and food is prepared freshly. Such a wonderful restaurant!

Tiny portions of rice, bland curry sauce, tiny pieces of lamb, overly greasy and extremely overpriced. Waiter had a cold and was completely off putting. Never again - should have realised why this restaurant was empty and the neighbouring indian restaurant was full!!

Outstanding!! Three of us had dinner here last night and the food was simply fantastic! We had poppadoms with chutney etc to start (poppadoms were tasty & crisp) then ordered the 'Tawa Garlic Chilli' dishes (2 chicken, 1 Prawn); each dish tasted beautifully fresh and authentic and as for the spices.... well our taste buds were going nuts! We even missed our film at the Everyman cinema up the road as the food was so delicious and we were having such a lovely evening we just didn't want to leave! I must also mention our lovely waiter, I'm sorry I didn't catch his name but he gave us a really warm and courteous welcome and was attentive and informative throughout the evening. Needless to say we won't be wasting our time going to any other Indian restaurant from now on.. oh, and they also do deliveries - dangerous! 😄

Loved the chicken jalfrezi and chicken biryani! Their peshawari naan are the best I've ever had, and the garlic naan is wonderful as well.

I would like to ask the head chef of this restaurant to come down and try the take out that we were given tonight. I have an extra ordinary tolerance to spicy foods, used to eat chillies straight off the plant when I lived in Italy. Because of that, I can promise you that our food tonight was absolutely inedible, not even close to acceptable. We didn’t complain on Uber eats because it’s well renowned that they stop sending you offers if you do, but would’ve been most appropriate to ask for a refund. I almost threw up and I’m still drinking milk trying to get over my heartburn. AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

I ordered Palak Paneer, it was spicier than I have had elsewhere but delicious. Enjoyed the freebies and would order in the future.

Best Indian takeout in Hampstead. If you want a different experience, try out their Kachi Biryani. It is made in a clay pot, and the flavors and spices are packed smack dab in the middle. You can opt out of the egg.

I was a little worried upon receiving my delivery to find a note asking me to leave a positive review in exchange for a discount. This made me worry that all the positive reviews I'd read on here before ordering were bogus. But I was pleasantly surprised to find the food is just as delicious as everyone says! They nailed the chicken tikka masala - good quality chicken, the sauce was spot on. A portion of pilau rice is just enough for one person. They even threw in some poppadoms and mint sauce for free - which you don't often see these days! I will be ordering from here again.

Ordered a chicken chat which arrived without any chicken in it. Unbelievable. If the restaurant weren’t able to fulfil my order then they should not have accepted it. Poor service. Nice food but not what I ordered!

trying to fix my sleep schedule by going to bed progressively later and later. it means that today i woke up at 10pm to find no food in the house and all the shops shut. oh well—aroma spice chicken tikka masala for breakfast, then, i guess…what a perfect way to start an upside-down day. subtly spiced and sweet, with fragrant pilau rice and a free popadom with mint sauce thrown in for good measure! a wonderful curry. will definitely be ordering again for midnight brekkies.

aroma spice can be very hit and miss. i ordered an expensive lamb curry this time and it was basically a whole onion with tomato sauce and a bit of lamb. had similar with a lamb pasanda before that was like lamb floating in milk.. all in all the meal wasn’t that bad but so disappointing considering how expensive the restaurant has become. don’t think we’ll be going back sadly

I received the tandoori chicken and naan from Aroma spice and to be honest I was tempted to write the review the before I even ate it. First time in the UK I got Tandoori chicken that looked like Tandoori. That too at a great price. Great portion, Amazing taste 😍😍 and defo the resaurant is now my favorite Indian restaurant here. Kudos guys! And thats a lot for the Pappadoms on the house 🥰

This has been our favourite place for 20 years. The same wonderful easy going people and the same fabulous chef. After trying several other restaurants in the area we have always came back to the aroma spice. Food is always fresh tasty and fabulous. . We travel well away from where we live to experience an unbeatable dining experience. I hope we can carry on for another 20 years.
