Chicken Marsala is really delicious. I ate it with garlic rice. 😊 If you want to eat Indian food in the UK, I don't think you will regret it. The owners and employees are Indian, and they are very friendly and take good care of you. Make sure to eat here. It's right in front of the station, and the location is perfect. The price is absolutely great too

The food really made me feel like I was back in India. Together with the music that was played, it was a really good dining experience. It was just a shame that when a new customer asked if football could be placed on it, this was done immediately. And the music was gone and so was a large part of the atmosphere.

A very large choice of dishes; and the food is very good. The team is really very nice and very professional. Very well placed opposite the station and really accommodating for travelers to eat at less traditional times.

The staff were nice and friendly. I had onion bhaji for starters and they were pretty average. They were dry and tough but just about OK. For main I had the mixed grill which again was average – OK but nothing special. I also had a bottle of Indian lager. I checked the bill in my head as it didn’t look right so I checked on my phone – my order came to £28 something but the bill was for £31or £32 something. When I questioned this I was told that is was for the service charge even though this wasn’t listed on the hand written bill. To be honest, this feels like a scam as I could have looked at the final amount and rounded it up to £35 so I am glad I checked. So, very average food and a total bill where not everything was listed means I won’t be eating here again. Shame, because the staff were nice and friendly and the football was on TV.

A couple was listening to game on iPhone speaker. The owner refused to tell them to use head set. I ate my food as fast as possible. Service was slow and poor. There was an overcharge on bill. Other customers have made same comments. Vegetarian food was very oily. Nan was thick not fluffy. Will never go back. London has many better choices

I liked the food and the service was attentive but I realised my order should have been 11 and I was charged 20. They didn't give free poppadoms if by yourself and they also came at me with 2 people to pay the bill so I didn't realise the error till I was out of the building. They did however offer a free shot to everyone which is nice.

My husband and I just happened upon this little family owned restaurant on a visit to London and we are so pleased that we found it. The owners, Bashir and Raad (sorry if I've spelled your names wrong) and their staff were so friendly and hospitable, and the food was absolutely delicious! They have a varied menu but also set meal recommendations that are great if you're not sure what to order. We really enjoyed our meal, sitting by the window, and talking to the owners. If we visit London again we will definitely return!

The food is very average. We ordered mixed starters. Kebab was stale and smelling like expired oil. Chicken wing and tikka was tasteless and hard. We ordered mutton Kara masala and chicken tikka Balti. Both dishes were made in jalfrezi style. They have many variations of mutton and chicken curries but I think they all are made in same jalfrezi style. If you know Indian or Pakistani cuisine, then this restaurant is definitely not recommended. Also , seatings are very congested and our order took 45 minutes to come.

Delicious food, outstanding service, and open late! Host welcomed us in and treated us like family. The dips, honey chicken, and tandoori chicken, and curry were amazing! My husband and I are NY’ers, we got to our hotel in London around 11 PM (near 6 PM on our body clocks). We were hungry, but only fast-food chains were open. We were overjoyed to find this restaurant and then have some of the BEST Indian food we’ve ever had (and we spent three weeks in India!) and enjoy such fun service.

Great food will highly recommend

Its a scam. They will be over friendly and after your food will give a hand written bill that you won't understand. I couldn't understand the handwritten amount he had mentioned for each dish. So I ask a manager to tell me what he had written, and then he told me the prices and they were not adding up to the total. For that he told me that he had added some service charges. I told him it was fine if he added service charges but he should have mentioned it on the bill. Anyhow when he saw that I am arguing too much it's told me OK you just pay £25. A lot of people won't argue with them because they will be over friendly with you and you will feel bad to argue for a few pounds. I will not recommend this restaurant at all. Also the restaurant next to this seems to be operating on the same principle. They take advantage of people travelling and are new in London. Shame on these people.

The food and service is worth the wait and true to the spice ratings. The grill items had just the perfect aromatic touch of char. They were generous with water and catered to the children as though they were genuinely pleased to have children visit. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food is on the sweet side, with some dishes made in the Bengali style. It’s a nice change from common Indian restaurant fare. We were pleased.

Ate here in December on our last visit to London, and we were not disappointed this time around. Food, service and quality still great, so will definitely visit again on our next trip.

Best chicken Korma i have had ever. Get the garlic fried rice. Wonderful. If you like mild this is the place but if you want spicy they can do that as well. I haven’t had Tiger beer in over 30 years. This is a must try place. Thank you.

I still can't believe I paid 20 pounds for a chicken tandoori dish with 4 chicken pieces and a coke that had gone rancid. Sometimes a single establishment like this can change all your preferences. For example, I will never go to an Indian restaurant again.

Great Indian food at an affordable price.

It’s my first time trying Indian cuisine and me and my friend just randomly decided to have the Indian cuisine here. We were just amazed by the services offered to us and they are super enthusiastic!! Apart from that, the food was TRULY DELICIOUS!!! The lamb Kara Masala which was recommended was incredibly tasty as the lamb itself was well cooked and I love the spicy sauce of the lamb! Just go and ask for the recommendation based on your spicy level of the dish and the kind of meet you prefer!!!

While visiting Kings Cross, London , I ate at a fantastic little Indian restaurant called KingsCross Tandoori and was greeted by a wonderful man named Romo. His customer service, friendly and welcoming attitude was a great introduction to the area. I ordered the lunch special which was wonderful, gratifying and nicely priced. Even though it was very crowded, he gave great customer service to all, in fact everyone gave great customer service. I highly recommend the food and service at Kingscross Tandoori.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant twice with my family in July 2024, and both experiences were outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional—truly going above and beyond. The prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality offered. A special touch that stood out was the complimentary cha (chai) with biscuits served at the end of the meal. As someone from Bangladesh, where enjoying cha after a meal is a cherished tradition, this gesture meant a lot to us. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality.

It's not the best Indian food that I have eaten. The authentic flavours weren't there and were mid tier at best. Also, the staff keep pestering us for good reviews, we said we'll write one in our own time but they wouldn't leave us alone unless we wrote it in front of them. They wanted 5 stars and kept asking for it. So that ruined the service for me.

My daughter and I went there in the evening on saturday 24 August. The food was very good! On the other hand, we did not at all appreciate the behavior of the boy in the room. The latter came to clear my daughter's plate so the latter had not given her authorization and at the same time I had to signal to the waiter so that he would not clear my plate because I was still busy eating . As for the bill, it was a real scam (I shouldn't have told the manager that we came from Brussels). For two dishes accompanied by rice and nan (chicken and lamb cream with red sauce and vegetables) and two drinks, we had to pay 45 pounds (on the menu card it was displayed 10 pounds sterling for each of our menus). When asking the manager why, he gave us a whole bunch of explanations with calculations that had nothing to do with it. When asking for the ticket, the manager did not give us the original ticket which he had already shown us at the time of the bill. He wrote £45 on a piece of paper with the restaurant's seal which he gave to us. Another woman who was eating next to our table with her friend was the victim of the same type of scam. She had to ask the manager to correct the calculation for her addiction. What the latter did by revising the lady's bill downwards. The manager was very embarrassed and completely destabilized! It was clear that the lady did not appreciate what had happened! We are very disappointed and will never return to this restaurant again. We do not recommend that people who want to eat there pay close attention to the price of the menus and when paying the bill.

The service is absolutely great, the food is exceptional; I recommend without any hesitation! One of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten at.
