Only proper Indian restaurant in Maidstone,all others are over rated Bangladeshi/Nepali restaurants.Only problem is service.They in the kitchen and come out to receive order after long time, not enough staff it seems

In the stone for the day, saw this gaff offering set lunch for 6 bucks. It was very nice, fast and friendly service! And they are opening one in Tonbridge soon - this is where I now live!! Review on that one when it opens 👍

2 tablespoons of curry on an indented tray with very little rice. Starters was a sort of bbq small 6 pieces of chicken. Dessert again was not nice and left it. All of the tray lunch time only for £6. Didn't like the style of cooking. But it wS an experience.

Best south Indian food and cheaper as well

Lack of flavour in the food was made up for with too much spice. No music, the place lacked ambience and we could hear people in the bathroom and the constant squeaking of the door to the kitchen. Male staff seemed very patronising. The place was empty, I can see why.

Delicious authentic food. Best pani puri in the UK. Lovely variety of Andhra tiffins and main course. Chitti punugulu, naan, paneer butter masala and biryani were perfectly made. Will definitely visit again.

Lunch time empty restaurant… 5 of us sat down ready to order and waiting staff not even on seen, ready to leave member of staff show up… Not so helpfull with questions asked. Food was a bit to spicy and not so good, we did left a lot of food. He never came back to ask if we ok after food was served. Music was too laud and sounded like he was watching movie not interested to come and find out if we like the food. No high chair for baby offered. Really poor customer service no wonder place was empty!! We was not impressed at all, want be back and I dont recommend the place.

My mum is such a fussy eater but she really enjoyed it here the potatoes were lovely, it was all very nice. The service was excellent, the gentleman was attentive.

Visited today close to their finish time , must say the staff were very pleasant and friendly. Usually that is not the case closer to their end of the day. Obviously food was amazing after a while we could experience the real taste of India. Good customer care excellent food must visit

Worst curry I've ever had, absolutely vile. Avoid at all costs. Absolute waste of money. Awful service, awful food.

Went with lot of expectations but had a very bad experience, it seems there is one chef, that too seems to be inexperienced, the chicken starters were too salty and too much pepper added to them, the chicken biryani was average, very very less rice and too many pieces with lot of masala added to them, The waiting time was horrible, only one lady serving, the dishes were not taken away from one of the table even after completion for almost 1hr, The ambience is not good, very very dark inside, the AC was kept too HOT , even after reducing the temp, due to some reason the heat is getting more from the AC, We went straight after spending time at the beach and all of us were starving for some good food, but sadly, very bad experience, I don’t generally write reviews but taking some time to write this,

Cravings for Indian food and ended up in Reddy’s. Suggesting only if you are a true lover for spicy Indian food. The Hyderabad biriyani we had was a lot spicy. And the chilli chicken was over powering with chilli power flavour. After all the chilli chicken was a disappointing but except that everything is fine

Where do I start, I'm not sure what everyone else has been eating from this restaurant but I was generally disappointed. We arrived to an almost empty restaurant so thought it should be fairly quick. OK so our poppadoms and drinks arrived quickly but 45 minutes later we were still waiting for our mains. We noticed that 2 other tables who came in and ordered after us got their food first despite us only being a table for 2. The mains and sides came out minutes after I raised this to the staff, funny that...! OK the good. Gurkha beer on the menu which is a nice change. The naan bread was nice and fresh (ill talk about the filling in the bad) Poppadoms seemed fresh. The bad Only mango chutney for the poppadoms... Where is the lime pickle, mint yoghurt etc? I went for the keema naan. The filling of lamb was dry and crumbly and overly spiced. I ate it but definitely not the finest I've had. Mushroom rice was average at best. My chicken dhansak was not a dhansak, throwing lentils into a medium hot curry does not constitute being called a Dhansak. Also the chicken was dry, over cooked and didn't seem the best of quality, I made the comparison at the time of a supermarket ready meal. So all in all, not a great meal. I've read a lot of other reviews who use the word authentic a lot but I'm not sure where they make this comparison with Indian food. I am luckily to have a number of colleagues who have cooked me authentic Indian food and this was not it. Anyway given the time it took to get meal et. we had somewhere to be so wasted about half, paid the bill and had to rush out otherwise I would've have raised my concerns in the restaurant.

We went today for a family meal to celebrate a 40th birthday. In short the service was fantastic, the food was outstanding and looking forward to next time when coming to visit the family. Its a long way for us to travel from Manchester so-won’t be for a while but lots of places could learn from Reddy’s as the best Chicken Tikka Masala i’ve had!

Great burger, great fries, great milkshake. Portions are generous, a nice collection of options to choose from for extras and the selection of burgers offers something different as well. Definitely the go to for burgers from now on and looking forward to trying the rest of what this place has to offer

Nice people, great food and very accommodating. Great value as well. They made a lunchtime special which included a lamb madras, rice, chilli garlic naan (specially made) and a masala tea. All for £13. Happy days.

our first visit to reddys we had a very nice meal we were not rushed as they open 11 am to 11 pm the food was very authentic the staff very friendly and not pushy we had a very relaxed lunch instead of being rushed like most returants where you have to eat up by 2.30 as they close early it's like being abroad .Sunny our waiter was superb would definitely recommend this resturant

Brilliant find. Came across Reddy's today, just a few days after opening. Dropped in for lunch and very impressed. The food was outstanding along with first class service. Indian food, plus a lot more, with an authentic style and quality. Spoke to the owner who cares very much about his restaurant, the food he serves and his customers. Highly recommended.

Ordered through uber eats on Saturday night. First problem, the prawn starter was showing as free so I added it to the order (there a lot of offers like this on Uber). Got a call from the restaurant saying it was a mistake and it was £6.50. OK, no problem, 20 minutes later I get another call, sorry we have no Peshwari nanns, OK ill have a keema nann, guess what, get another call, they have no nanns full stop, what Indian has no nann breads at 6pm on a Saturday night???. Then the food arrives, the mixed starter wasn't bad other than the chicken tikka which was so over coked that it was rock hard and inedible, the biryani was not a biryani, it was rice with spice mixed in it, on top was sprinkles of raw spice, because none of the spices were cooked through it left the most acrid and bitter taste in your mouth, there was no vegetable curry either, I have never had a biryani that hasn't had a veg curry, I ordered some dips but could not find any poppadoms on the menu, I rather stupidly thought that given the hassle I had with the order they would send a couple free, no, nothing. The Taramind chutney was just Taramind sauce and the mind sauce was horrible, not like Riata at all. Overall, £30.00 spent, £10.00 eaten, £20 in the bin never again. I gave it 2 stars because they called me and didn't just leave the food off, however, if I was marking the food it would be a 1 star. Not good.

Absolutely pathetic service, app says delivery between 15-30 minutes, over an hour passes, I call the take away and they say a further 20 minute wait as they are short on drivers, that 20 minutes has come and gone, still waiting for my dinner, will never ever order from this place again, they don't even deserve a star.

Today my partner and myself had a wonderful lunch here. Great food, lots of flavour, hot! Friendly helpful staff. Very obliging and eager to go the extra mile. I would definitely recommend going for a meal. And I would definitely go back with a friend as well! Also for what we had the price was really good too. In the main part of town, so easy to walk too! A thumbs up!

First and last time ordering from this place! We ordered through Uber eats and was left seriously disappointed. Once we had place the order we had to call the restaurant up to see where our order was as it had nearly been an hour. After I spoke to the restaurant they told us our food would be with us in 15 minutes. After waiting another 15 minutes we finally received our order and to our disappointment EVERYTHING was cold. I am 37weeks pregnant and I was starving so naturally I had to eat the food however my husband rang the restaurant to complain about the food and the man said he would ring back but he did not. 10mins went buy and we rang again as we had no call back and the man on the phone said there is nothing he can do other us dropping the food back to them for them to re cook it. Also the standard of the food was rubbish! Honestly so disappointed by the service at this place. How can you expect to be given cold food?! Never again will we be ordering from here as the food and service was absolutely appalling! If I could I wouldn’t even give them 1 star!

Shambolic service and food. I ordered a take away to be delivered, after waiting 50 minutes I rang the restaurant to ask how much longer, they said the food would arrive within 5 minutes. The food then finally came, 30 minutes later after I was told it would. It was cold, burger was soggy, bun was cold, chips were soggy too. The chicken wrap I ordered was full of salad with mininal chicken. I then rang the restaurant again to make a complain, person I spoke to said he would call me back after speaking to the manager. I waited 15 minutes and no phone call I then rang the restaurant once again, and the person I spoke to picked up again. He said he didnt call as he thought I would have had the food by now. He said the manager said nothing could be done and I would just have to eat it. Shambles. He didn’t want to listen to what I had to say, rude, unapologetic,ignorant phone manners. Giving this place 1 start it much. AVOID.

Great food. Very refreshing menu much more authentic. Very very good. Highlight was vindaloo mayonnaise with squid. Some of the best I've had.

Went for late lunch yesterday and left very happy indeed. The food was amazing and abbi the chef was so helpful and a pleasure to meet,so happy and enthusiastic. Definitely one if the best curries ive eaten for years.

Ordered from the grill a few times, burgers and chicken are great and better than the other local burger places. The Indian is the best I've had in Maidstone, flavours are out of this world. Proper samosa, momo dumplings are beautiful and the depth of flavour in the sherpa chicken is something else. This will be my goto Indian from now on!

Amazing. I had a double trouble burger and fries and it was honestly the best burger I had in years. It was juicy, meaty, well cooked and honestly so generous in size I could barely finish it. The fries were crispy and golden and just right and I think I have found my new burger place. I didn't expect it to be so good.
