never order from here. truly a waste of money, they got some of my order wrong which i can usually over look however the main course was abhorrent. the chicken smelt and tasted disgusting, almost as if someone had rubbed the chicken on their bare balls before sending it on its way. also didnt get my money back after i complained and they tried to write it off as me being 'unaware' that different cultures foods can have a different taste or smell to how i might 'usually know it to be' anyways hope you order your food from somewhere else after reading this so you can actually enjoy your meal.

Such a worst food ever I had , o ordered Nahar special biriyani and garlic nan, chicken tikka masala, in that curry chicken was smelly its fell like chicken is expired and the biriyani it was not able eat one single spoon such a worst food waste of money

DO NOT EAT HERE. Overpriced fishy and mouldy. If I could leave 0 stars then I would. Our rice was covered in mould, the chicken stank of fish, the nann bread was falling apart. Heath and safety hazard and they should be shut down. They tried to say “that is what is supposed to happen to rice and they’ve served other people today and had no complaints so…” They did give us a refund and came back quickly but this is unacceptable.

Absolutely disgusting. Waited more than 20mins for a collection order. Salad was put in a plastic bag, egg fried rice burnt, worst garlic and peshwari naan. Wasted £35. I wouldn't order there again.

Worst food ever I had, literally spoiled meat, food was pathetic, delivered food and driver escaped, didn't respond on phone either, food inspection to be done MUST! Legal action should be taken immediately. Don't even dare to give a try, wasted 27£.

Just been round to the shop, lights on and open sign all lit up but the door is locked. Waited a few minutes then went to the other shops and returned only to find the door still locked and lights on. I waited around 15 minutes then left. If they were out delivering, how much effort would it take to put a note up on the window or door informing customers of this? COMMUNICATION PLEASE ! They must be aware of the Chip shop, post office and Chinese takeaway next to them have all closed down in recent years. This poor pr from them isn't going help their business. They are treating their customers badly.

Absolutely disgusting korma looked like gravy nan bread didn't even look like a nan phoned and told them to come pick it up and wanted a refund said they would come had to phone them back said won't refund and hung up on me appalling service and almost £50 down disgusting food

This outrageously expensive curry was an utter disaster! Not only did it arrive late, but to my dismay, I discovered a piece of plastic contaminating the entire meal. As if that wasn't enough, the pakora had the audacity to be charred beyond recognition. A complete rip-off and an insult to anyone expecting a decent, high-priced culinary experience. I'm fuming at the audacity of serving such subpar fare at such an exorbitant cost!

If you want all your food burnt to a crisp yet somehow as cold as a frozen ready meal then THIS is the place for you. 1.5 hours late but wish it never turned up at all so i could get a full refund. Whole room was upset with the food and made the rest of the evening rather awkward as I was the one to suggest it. Never again!

Genuinely abysmal. Our order took over 2 hours to arrive, we found bits of plastic in our naan breads and the food was cold on arrival. You would think after such a dirge they’d at least throw in a few poppadoms, but to cap off this mountain of misery they couldn’t even stretch to include a few of those. If this place was the last takeaway on earth I wouldn’t recommend it.

First of all they didn’t answer at half 4 when they were due to open. Food was meant to be an hour ended up arriving two hours later. Food tasted very strange and not like any Indian I’ve ever had. Nan bread not cooked properly. Over all terrible experience would not use again!

Terrible mango lassi and chips Weird non sweet taste and colour and the chips colder than McDonald’s plus drenched in the *lassi* This cost over £18 bunch of a holes.

Unfortunately for me finishing work late. I was limited to ordering from here.. Just ordered a started and garlic naan.. Both awful, I did wonder why the deliver person scuttled off so quickly; probably embarrassed!! Luckily this place is not far from me (my partner has the car hence the delivery) so I will be going up to sort this out tomorrow and get a refund.. Revolting

Have used this takeaway before but no more. Placed a fairly simple order last night yet somehow they managed to omit the rice whilst charging full price. The food itself was below average, the Pakora was burnt, hard and tasteless, the main course was dull and the Peshawari Naan seemed to be a victim of the cost of living crisis, virtually zero filling and grossly undercooked. Nearly £50 wasted. Not ever going back.

Have had food here several times previously and was always good. Ordered food tonight and we were so disappointed. Pakora starter was old and hard. The 2 Main meals (chicken bhuna and garlic chili chicken) were OK but they forgot to put in one of the pilau rice. Peshwari naans were undercooked and hardly had any filling. Gutted to have spent nearly £50 for a very disappointing family treat.

Absolutely the worst Indian takeaway I have ever experienced Ordered a paratha and got a roti that wasnt even on the menu. Ordered a lemon and cashews rice and got rice with hunks of lemon skin and no cashews at all Ordered a dhal it was completely tasteless and was like it was liquidised. Bizarre and very overcooked Ordered paneer and peas and got 4 small bits of paneer. Tasted of nothing except for peas. All Ended up in bin as it was horrible. The restaurant was contacted and refused any type of reimbursement even though they are legally obliged .

Chicken, lamb and beef was in a bag smelt like fish and the naan bread was tasteless, sauce was all over bag and contents and chips are like scraps in a tiny bag will be asking for refund and will never be back.

Over an hour late, not even an apology, food was cold when it arrived been using them for years but today they lost a customer and I will be telling everyone too

Hello, I have ordered set meal and biryani . Biryani rice was old and chicken tikka wasn't good. Bed smells came from rice , it might be 2 or 3 days old rice and mix kebab wasn't very good. Please give customer good and fresh food. Thanks

We order from here regularly but don’t think I will reorder after our food from last night. Curry’s we’re gloopy, naans (both plain and peshwari) were dry, tasted like 3 days old. To top it all of, my wife, daughter and myself all have food poisoning with our stomachs in bits. Hope our toilet survives the next couple of days…

Worst takeaway I’ve had! It went straight in the bin. 1 items was wrong, roti was cardboard and the keema nan like rubber with pate stuffed inside very disappointed should have read the reviews prior to order good luck

I ordered Indian food through uber eats .The chicken korma Sabzi Masala and even the pickled onion was packed with sugar tasted like desert instead of curry .Sabzi Masala was beetroot colour with cauliflower in it. I never had a curry in my whole life packed with sugar very bad experience. Whoever the chef needs to have some basic understanding about curry

We ordered at 7pm through justeat and we didn't receive the food. We called the restaurant continually from 8pm (estimated delivery time) until after 10pm with no answer or an engaged tone. Deeply disappointed.

Ojalá pudiera decir que valió la pena la espera, pero ciertamente no lo fue. Hacía frío. El pan naan era como comer masa cruda. Las salsas de los curries eran grasosas y el arroz estaba aguado y duro en algunas partes.Hoy he pasado casi todo el día en el baño, tanto que mi familia pensó que me había aislado.He intentado obtener un reembolso de Just Eat todo el día, pero la comida para llevar no ha finalizado el pedido con Just Eat. Shocking. Ordered at 7.00 and still haven't received our order at 10.45. Also, it says "delivered" on the just eat app and we tried the place probably around 100 times on the phone but with no answer.

If you love curry don't get it from here! There was nothing authentic about the curries we received. We ordered two different dishes - Jhal Bhuna and Rogan Josh both had the same basic sauce with different levels of chilli powder or flavour added and the chicken was hard and dry 😫 Csn honestly say this was the worst example of a curry I've had in a very long time.

Our food was delivered on time and was hot, fresh and really tasty with good sized portions, 4 of us ate we all enjoyed, we will definitely order again.

Recientemente he ordenado una entrega a través de sólo comer. La comida llegó antes de lo esperado. Tuve el curry de pollo al norte indio ajo chili, arroz, keema nan, pakora de pollo y cebolla bahji.No me puedo quejar de nada, todo estaba delicioso. Definitivamente lo recomendaría a cualquiera. En general muy agradable.

This was the first time we had tried Nahar Takeaway. We ordered their set meal for two with a chicken balti and a chicken tikka masala. We also got chicken pakora, nan brad, popadoms and various sauces. The food was very good and well made. The portions were a good size. It took about 5 waiting. Great value takeaway, will try them again.

Entrantes secos e increíblemente grasosos, comidas principales nadando en agua y apenas carne. Cuando llamamos al restaurante acerca de que la comida llegaba tarde, fueron increíblemente groseros y cuando llamamos por segunda vez (25 minutos después de que dijeron que la comida llegaría en 5 minutos), el mismo gerente colgó el teléfono. Absolutamente impactante: la pakora mixta consistía en 2 bhaji de cebolla secos y pequeños trozos duros de pollo disfrazados de pakora. Poppadom fue, literalmente, 1 popppadom, los platos principales eran insípidos y absolutamente nadando en agua, el pan naan parecía que se había cocinado hace una semana y lo mejor de todo, todo fue absolutamente frío. La peor comida para llevar de la India que he pedido en mis 44 años en este planeta: estafa completa, y la mayor parte va directamente a la basura.

I've been to Nahar's a number of times now. Each time it has been very good. I normally go for the chicken shashlik and a garlic naan, both are delicious!

Late delivery, poor quality food. It was supposed to be spicy but the curries were more like gravy!!

Terrible Takeaway! Avoid completely! Ordered a delivery at 10:30pm did not receive until 12:15am and then I had to go and meet "delivery man" at local garage as he could not find my house and he "needed to go to bed". Needless to say meal was cold and greasy. Fooled me around for so long all other takeaways were closed.

Ignore all good reviews as they are written by owner to keep a good reputation. Just been there to order food. Waited 57 minutes. It's total chaos. Guy answers telephone complaint and tells all customers that the order has been already sent which is not. During the time I've waited I've seen that no order has left the kitchen. food was almost cold when I got it. HIGHLY NON RECOMMENDED. I've tried few other Indian takeaways and this one of my number one NO place. If anybody wants to ignore my review and still go for it.. Make sure to call around 2 hours in advance. If you don't believe me. Read all other reviews specially on just eat. You will find quite a few people saying the same thing. One more thing. If your desperate enough and decide to order and you will be disappointed please leave a review to back me up so no other person will loose money again. P's. It's now called nahar Thanks. The food taste was simply just amazing, I was a little worried as I ordered for the first time from this place but it was totally worth it.

Esta noche pedimos comida para llevar a casa hambrienta. Nuestra primera y última de Nahar! La comida estaba fría, las raciones eran muy pequeñas. Cuando pagamos £11 por un kebab ambivalente, es de esperar un poco más que un muy pequeño puñado de carne y un gran trozo de pollo en el hueso.bolsa de patatas era menos de un tercio. Pakora era bastante cutre y correosos.Nos sentimos muy engañado que nos pasamos 25 libras (y eso era con 20% de descuento) frío, pasada, cena que era muy pequeña y muy caros.

Decidí a llevar los sábados por la noche y pedimos desde aquí como relativamente local y probamos una vez antes y entonces era bueno.Nos había Mezclado pakora (se puede hacer si lo pides en persona, aunque no en el menú), carne Samosa y luego Dividimos un pollo Jalfrezi y Naan.Todo sabía maravilloso y sólo tuvimos que esperar 10 minutos ya que estaba recién preparado y después pedí en la tienda.No estoy seguro de por qué las quejas sobre la entrega anticipada de otros clientes. Simplemente comer funciona sobre la base de los pedidos y salir lo antes posible. Parece que de hecho esto bien.

Me gustaría en primer lugar decir que la comida estaba muy bien. Sin embargo, mi esposa y yo pedimos a comer en dos sitios diferentes y declaró la entrega ya que queríamos comer juntos. 20 minutos después de haberlo pedido llegó 40 minutos más temprano. Así que mi esposa llamé y hablé con alguien que no disculpa pero él lo era para recordar la próxima vez y ponerlo en sus recuerdos. En la que él pusiera su jarrón de memoria. Constantemente excelente, probado una amplia variedad de platos en su menú. El jalfrezi de gambas de King es un favorito personal - y mucho mejor y barato que el local' y 'galardonados restaurantes como Omar Khayyam o el club St. John de curry. El personal es muy agradable también ; -)

La tienda de comida hindú normal cerrado, así que decidimos probar este lugar al lado de mis chino normales.

We have been going to the Royal India for 11 years now, it is one of the best take away I have every been too. The staff are friendly and the additional extras we always receive make the meal fantastic. Would highly recommend the chicken nantara it is amazing.
