I’ve order from here for ages, only place I get pad Thai from. Sadly on this occasion it was so flavourless and was bland, that some of noodles were actually plain… for the price it seemed lacking. That’s my only gripe. Portion size was on point, as was the number and quality of prawns. Hope it’s just one off and bad day in the kitchen

Excellent food. In my opinion, the best noodle/rice wok in Reading. The Nasi Goreng being my top pick.

On Friday evening, I placed an order for the set meal for two. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent selection of dishes and sides that complemented each other well, along with the appropriate level of spiciness. My Chinese wife was highly impressed, which is a rare occurrence. I highly recommend the set meal as a convenient and enjoyable dining option.

The MYWOK Chinese takeaway I tried recently left a lasting impression. The sweet and sour chicken had the perfect balance of flavours, and the fried rice was flavorful and not greasy. The portion sizes were generous, providing great value for money. The delivery was prompt, and the packaging ensured the food stayed hot. Overall, it was a delightful experience that I would highly recommend.

Hands down the best vegan meal I have had in a long time. Staff are very nice people I would recommend visiting, best vegan menu I can not wait to try some more vegan dishes. Sweet and sour was lovely

I would make better food myself! Do not reccomend! Coconut curry noodles were tasteless, and phat thai tasted like just sweet sauce. I've managed to eat the half of it, but with every other bite it got worse and worse... Shame!

Had a takeout from My Wok in Reading this evening, what a total disappointment. Paid £35.00 with deliveroo charge, for bbq ribs with chowmein and a veggie box, which was supposed to be vermicelli noodles with veggies in a pad Thai sauce, plus some spring rolls. The spare ribs were so small and two looked half eaten, this was on top of a child size portion of chowmein. My veggie box consisted of over cooked noodles, which had formed a starchy clump. The veggies were 90% carrot 5% pepper and 5% onion. I did find a miniscule piece of broccoli which ended up the highlight of the box. Pad Thai sauce ended up to be a cheap, very sweet tasting sauce, the type you get with sweet and sour prawn balls, I had to stop eating after a few mouthfuls as so inedible. A birthday treat that was a total waste of money. The food does not resemble the restaurant photos in any way, so please beware!!

First time ordered from here and had no complaints it was really tasty and hot too one of the hottest (meaning heat not spice) takeaways we have had turn up we thought it was value for Money we will definitely get from there again

Thought I’d leave a review as i see bad ones. Don’t be fooled.. it’s great food! Tasty amd fresh, Amazing vegan options! As long as you order correct there will be no issue! Highly recommend.. we go here often for the vegan hot box 🤌🏼

This used to be my favourite go to for Nasi Goreng, as it was the only place in Reading that I thought served it as authentic as possible. I was so proud of it that I even introduced it to my Indonesian friend. However, lately, something has changed. I don’t know whether they’ve changed cooks. But the flavour has been lacking. At one instance, I am pretty sure the rice was stale. Very sad to have to write this review.

Read some reviews and thought we'd give this a try. Firstly the prices given on the paper menu are different from what we were asked to pay, and after questioning the difference the price came down a bit but still higher than what it says on paper - with no explanation given? The food was mediocre at best. VERY OVER RATED AND WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED and will not return.

I would highly recommend eating at MyWok.The food is delicious and served promptly. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere in the venue is very pleasant. I would encourage everyone to eat here.

The food isn't too bad but I've found a piece of hair in my jasmine rice. Employees should be more careful with their hair, or use a head covering to prevent this from happening again.

Tiny portions, overly expensive food prepared almost entirely by microwave it seems from the amount of times we heard it go off! Both me and my partner were violently ill after eating here. I had chicken and she's vegan, so seems like theres a lot of undercooking or cross contamination. Would avoid unless you need a day off work the next day.

Popped in hear for lunch today, and was blown away how GOOD THE FOOD IS size of portions very good, quality is very good I highly recommend this little hidden gem of a takeaway 😁

I am a vegetarian and have ordered food from mywok many times but this time I am very angry and disappointed. i ordered spice chiken vegan stayl and got spice chicken! I am bad that I bit the meat badly and I feel bad about it now. I recommend that you be careful if someone is a vegetarian or vegan!

Deeply unsatisfied with my delivery from here. The food wasn't bad, in terms of flavour and quality of ingredients. Not GREAT but not bad. However, for the ridiculous price the quality was not good enough and it certainly wasn't good enough for the low quantity. You just do not get enough for that sort of money. I attach an hilarious photo of the Chick Satay which is about 4cm long on each skewer. The fact that somebody there thought this was even remotely acceptable is shocking. Chow mien was also a bit greasy says one of my party.

Hidden Gem! Didn't know this was here till we drove past today. Popped in for a late lunch, really good chicken teriyaki and rice. Also cooked fresh to order not like other places where stuff sits under heat lamps all day. Would recommend 100%

Nice dining area,very simple for having lunch when we have rush break time,I always order online before my break lunch time,and just come through to the shop the food is ready,so I still have lot rest of time for relax,nasi goreng is my favorite,because there is extra egg on the top🤤

Terrible service, don’t come in and order on line, no one can speak English, I had to stand on a chair and point on the menu. For allergies the sign said speak to the staff, what a joke !

Had delivery from here for the first time. Very expensive for what you get, two rice dishes and one portion of dumplings came to nearly £30 with delivery. I had Chefs chicken rice, girlfriend had coconut curry rice. Mine should have had cashew nuts, they were missing. Girlfriends should NOT have had cashew nuts (she doesnt eat them) but they were in her dish. Meant we had to swap dinners. The Chefs chicken rice had a lot of rice and not a lot else. Supposed to have oyster sauce but just tasted like a box of bland rice. The one redeeming factor was the dumplings were pretty good. Very underwhelmed. Bland food, wrong ingredients and very expensive. Sadly wouldn't order from here again.

Simple, kitchen-like cafe serving Thai/Japanese dishes at good prices. Generous portions. Must try !
