Not as good as b4 spring rolls bad dry, the tofu in the green curry tasted like it had been cooked twice.. Flavours good though

Nice Thai restaurant. Lovely decor. Service was good, could have been quicker towards the end. Red curry was nice and Spicy. Crispy Prawn starter was not the best ,tasted like Frozen prawns and way too much batter.

Honestly, best Thai restaurant I've ever been to. Service was amazing and the food was out of this world. Spicy as it should be! 👌🏻 Can't wait to come back again

I was looking for a good place to eat whilst working in Manchester. My first visit here was superb. Met by friendly staff. The food is freshly cooked, full of flavour and the perfect meal. I went back two nights in a row after. I highly recommend it

The decoration is super cozy and the soup with coconut broth and the sour and sweet crispy chicken was super tasty. I have been having difficulty finishing up my plates lately, no matter how hungry I am. But here I cleaned up both my plates till I saw my reflection 😂😋🙏🏻

If you are looking for a great Thai food experience or just a great night out, I could not recommend a better place than my Thai. It’s not my first time having Thai food, but it’s the most memorable!!!

Food was super tasty, came quick and piping hot. Staff were friendly and it’s so so cute in the restaurant, I loveeee the decor.

Served by Elle, service and food was perfect, there is a real warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Flavours are all there and the menu caters to all. Can’t wait to return!!

A fun, casual canteen style restaurant. The kitchen is opposite the entrance, and bar style so you can see the food being prepared. Service is friendly and welcoming, and the orders are swiftly processed. The food itself is very good. For my taste it could be even bolder flavoured, but we really enjoy My Thai and will be back. I also enjoyed the My Thai IPA. The other beers are less interesting and quite pricey. The IPA is a trendy craft beer, light, not too bitter, and brimming with flavour, which makes for a great match with the food.

Pad Kra Pao was not spicy, traditionally it would be but perhaps the restaurant could ask customers for their desired spice level when ordering? Other than that everything was excellent!

This is a fantastic spot in the centre of Manchester. I always get the same order of fishcakes and number 21. with tofu! Their todu is the best in town! Great value for money.

Spotted a mouse running through the middle of the restaurant! Horrified is an understatement, I have never seen anything like that before. Will not be returning. This was brought to the staffs attention as we left.

Really good food at a good price. Somewhat limited option if you’re vegan. On Sundays, they offer all you can eat lunch (12-5pm) for £8:95 which is a steal for what you get, which is Authentic Thai food and desert (tapioca). Good location. Few minutes walk from St. Peter’s square, certainly not a 5 star dinning interns of ambience but if you want a quick service ( although the speed of the service calls for a hint of concern 👀 ) this is your best location. I come here time and time again

What an amazing find, fabulous atmosphere and delicious food, we were in Manchester for two nights and ate her for both.

If you're into East Asian cuisine, this place is a good option. Prices are reasonable, ingredients are fresh and high quality, and the portions are generous. The decor is not interesting, and the staff, while friendly, may not be the most helpful.

First time in . Welcomed immediately . Offered a table for 3 people. Perfect food nice and fresh. 3 starters 3 mains. 2 beers 1 soft drink . £70 all in . Can't complain about that either. This is on parr to our usual place. The Mews in Poulton le fylde. So we will be back to My thai with out doubt

Restaurant très original. La décoration est superbe, le personnel souriant et agréable, le service très rapide ! La nourriture est bonne, la quantité également (même si, une assiette un peu plus garnie aurait été appréciable). Par contre, c'est assez cher. On a payé 35€ pour deux pour 2 plats simples et 2 cocas ! Ce n'est pas donné, la note est légèrement salée je trouve ...

Amazing great food good service

We had read good reviews and saw how reasonably priced it was for Manchester city centre so paid them a visit. Arrived and were greeted and arrived promptly to a table. Had a glass of wine each and ordered 4 starter plates. The server didn’t ask if we wanted mains (we did) but just waltzed off with our starter order. It was almost like she knew we wouldn’t stay. It was full of groups of students and solo student diners which suggested we weren’t the usual clientele. Starters arrived, I kid you not, less than 2 mins after ordering. The starters were soggy and had clearly been microwaved giving them a soft and greasy texture. We ate some but left most. We paid for what we had and went to another Thai restaurant in China Town for mains. Only come if you want cheap poor quality fast food, are incapable of microwaving your own ready meal or you’re a student who doesn’t know any better. In the time between our starters arriving and leaving another couple (two 20 year olds) came ordered and ate full main courses, paid and left! We were only there 25 mins so it is faster than McDonald’s. Do us non students a favour and change your name to microwave Thai!

Upon my last visit I was subjected to very poor service. Whilst I was greeted by the staff on entry, the waitress prompted to serve two other customers despite me arriving more than 5 mins before them.  This is especially disappointing as I've had great past encounters at My Thai.

We were looking for a Thai restaurant in Manchester after our visit to the Christmas market. After checking on Google maps, we decided to head to My Thai, couldn't have done a better pick for non locals. From start to finish it has been a delightful meal. Nicely greeted as we entered without prior booking , a table for 2 was available for us. The menu is real Thai, clear and easy to understand with a selection to satisfy all tastes. The decorations of the restaurant is excellent and makes you travel to an exotic place, service is impeccable, friendly,. providing clear explanation about the different dishes and extremely polite. Definitely worth another visit next time we are in the area.

I love Thai food, and can stand heavy flavors but this was not it. I got two noodle dishes, flavors doesn't have layers of spices, it was just plainly too salty or too sweet. Fish cake was decent! Atmosphere was cute, waitress often times too busy so couldn't get their attention.

This is a Gem! Forget the posh Thai restaurants around, this is as close to authentic Thai food as I have found outside of Thailand. Food is cooked quickly, very reasonably priced for the UK, and absolutely delicious!

Easy wheelchair access. Very quick service. Excellent food - I had a mushroom soup and a Massaman curry. Both top quality. And they accept American Express! The new decor is very cute - see the pics.

Well this place has gone down the drain. It might look a bit nicer inside (I preferred the naff decor it used to have-it’s still naff just not in a funny way) but the food is nowhere near as nice as it was. Had yellow curry rice plate with chicken. Sauce was like water - with no heat. Couple of hard carrots couple of skin on potatoes and a couple of pieces of dried out chicken. Not good at all. Man on another table complained loudly that his dish contained no chicken at all. It’s such a shame as it was somewhere you could pop in knowing you’d get fed well for not lots of money. Won’t bother again.

Fabulous food and great service

We parked up intending to go elsewhere tbh but walking past restaurant looked quite busy for a lunchtime. Gave menu a once over then went in . Got a lovely welcome from waitress ordered lunch special spring rolls and crispy prawns . Beautiful. Mains We ordered sweet n sour chicken and pork satay both served with rice . Very good too . Easily enough food for a lunchtime and cooked fresh . We could see into kitchen . And all for the same price as a kfc bucket Will definitely go back Recommended

Got a take away. Came quick. Got the yellow curry with a few chips and loved it. Eaten in the restaurant and at home. Enjoyed both. Insane cheers guys x

They served me meat when I explicitly ordered vegetarian!! I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody who has dietary restrictions or are allergic to stuff. I ordered Tofu Pad Kee Mao. While eating, I noticed there was a pork piece in my dish. I called the waitress and she confirmed. However, what amazed me was their reaction to the whole thing. They did not apologize, just casually told me they won't charge me for this dish as if they're doing me a favor lol. They offered to cook it again but no way I was going to trust their kitchen again!!! There are many Thai restaurants around, you can easily skip this one.

Honestly, I wasn't ever a fan of Thai food until the very moment I had visited this place! (It does sound biased, but I can promise you it's not)!!! I truly tell you now, this is a Manchester hidden gem, as they had a visual upgrade of the interior, too!!!! It's my second time here, and honestly, great price, like feed a family for just under 60 quid, with quite large portions too. But in all honesty, YES!!! You've got to try this!!!!

Absolutely the best restaurant to indulge in the finest Thai food. We had a lovely experience here, where we were made to feel very welcome in a really well presented and relaxed environment. The food is beautifully served and cooked in an authentic way. Absolutely mouth watering. It was that delicious I ordered extra dishes and I could have happily stayed all day. Thank you My Thai for a wonderful experience and I can't wait to come back.

Lovely little place in the Northern Quarter.. food is ready in minutes and tastes amazing.. we had fried rice with crispy chicken and pad thai with beef..

Delicious and interesting, slightly sweeter than I've found in Thailand but pretty decent all round and lovely friendly efficient proficient service. Very good value mains.

Grabbed a quick takeaway late on a Saturday after a long night out. It was the nearest to our hotel. Ordered: Crispy Prawns with Sweet Chilli Sauce, Pad Cashew Nut and Rice. Back the hotel, I'm not sure what we were expecting, but it was amazing! Wished we had ordered more! Next day we wandered around Manchester before catching an evening flight, so we went back for Dinner! Lovely friendly welcome, same as the night before. Ordered: Crispy Prawns with Sweet Chilli Sauce, Chicken Satay, Massaman Curry, Pad Cashew Nut and two glasses of red wine. Drinks came immediately, lovely chatty service. Starters and mains arrived timeously. Absolute devine food! Great service and we will definitely be going back! Total cost was £38. Great value. If in Manchester, make the effort!

Best Thai restaurant in Manchester - real ones will know

I enjoyed the vibe, authenticity and simplicity of this place, staff were really nice too, but food was mostly a disappointment. Let’s start with positives - Tom Yum, great starter portion, sour and spicy with great veg selection. Unfortunately the rest wasn’t as good. Corn cakes were over fried almost burnt, pad thai very one dimensional and sweet. The last dish which I don’t remember the name, meant to be this spicy and fragrant. It was hot, which I always appreciate but apart from that it tasted bland. I always try to give places second chance but this time I will pass. Food was poor beyond the redemption and Manchester has so much more Thai restaurants for me to explore.

This venue is great for families, friends, and just hanging out with real good food and company. You'd love the food for Starters!

Used to be a frequent Flyer of Thai and I miss the authentic Thai cuisine in the city. A modern Thai restaurant with authentic taste from Thailand would absolutely suit your appetite and a nice hanging place.

Really nice food just a shame the food is all over the bag when it arrives sadly won't be ordering to take out any more the delivery drivers are not taking care of food wasted 30 pounds for food that was all inside the bag

Visited this restaurant today when their blackboard with offers caught my attention while hunting for lunch. They have some lunch offers out of which I chose the 2 course meal for £13.5 per person. It included any 1 starter and 1 main course from the menu, although you need to pay extra if you choose seafood in the mains, and one soft drink. I was happy to see more women working in the kitchen as well as service. Having stayed in Thailand for a month, I would rate the food 3/5. I chose to order Pork Dumplings in which i got only 3 pieces and Chicken Pad Thai which was average in taste, I have had better pad thai in other restaurants in the UK. The service is great and the staff are very attentive, fast and polite. Can work on quantity.

So wonderful combination of reasonable prices and delicious food. Having a dinner with my family we enjoyed authentic atmosphere and food which was good for both kids and adults. By the way it is a dog friendly restaurant, they brought some water for our small dog as soon as we sat down.

The food is good and for a city centre restaurant the prices are competitive. The service staff are also great and clearly work very hard. The decor is ok and fits the vibe but dont expect to get a high end dining exeprience and you'll avoid disappointment, besides the prices are good anyway.

I was excited to go to a Thai restaurant for the first time and this did not disappoint. The food was reasonably priced and tasted amazing- the massaman curry in particular which I had as my main was delicious. The staff were so friendly and service was incredibly fast for a Friday evening in town. I would definitely go again!

Excellent Thai food, genuinely some of the best I've had, great service and at a very reasonable price considering the quality of the food you get, I recommend the seafood or king prawn variant of the dishes over the deep fried tofu but that is personal preference as the tofu was a little too fatty.

Chill vibe in the restaurant, service was good. Food was average, I had the duck noodle soup for lunch, while the flavour was good, I wish it was balanced with a bit of veg - there's none at all.

My Thai brings you the delicious taste of Thailand. Service and food delivery and really fast. Dishes are full of flavour. With it's relaxed cafe atmosphere it will be easy return to this tasty value-for-money eatery. Note: they do NOT cater for allergies die to their small space kitchen.

Great place For proper Thai food Steamed pork dumplings are divine as were the chicken and lemongrass skewers Mains were the duck and pineapple curry and pork belly and morning glory - big portions , lovely rice I always try and eat here whenever I am in Manchester The serving staff are lovely , very attentive without being pushy

Delicious food, I’ve had Pad King with Pork and my friend had a classic chicken Pad Thai. The portions were of good size, super tasty, came to us super fast, and the service was very friendly. Lovely experience!

A quiet nice place to sit for food. It's not one of the best Thai I have tried but not the worst. Just an average, fast served restaurant with a lot of different options to have. We tried the massaman curry and the yellow curry both with tofu. The massaman was a little bit more salted and the tofu a little bit over cooked and not really tender or silky, but the yellow curry was much better and a great balance of spiciness.

Fantastic service and amazing food. They greet you with a warm smile and cater to all your needs and sometimes that small details are all that makes your day.

Me and my partner came here for the first time for lunch today. The food was absolutely delicious, very speedy service, and our server was lovely and very attentive. Also we didn’t realise there was a lunch deal on (12-3 weekdays i think!) so we got a starter main and drink for £13.50 each. Lovely!!!

Came for a quick lunch with my work colleagues. It was very hot so I couldn't eat much. They have a lunch menu. The chicken and duck is halal and portion sizes were good and food arrived quickly. Decor inside was a bit dated.
