Fantastic meal here- very reasonable price and great service!

Bad behavior on call,whenever you dial on the number for information, received rude response from the staff members and managers

Food was horrible. Service non existent . Spicy chips are just chips with chilli powder on top. 😆 You pay extra for that. One of the dishes, we couldn't eat at all, as the meat looked like it was cooked a week ago, the green curry was manageable, but don't have high expectations of this place. I'm convinced if it wasn't for the location, they'd have no clients at all. To pay for your bill you have to go pretty much in the kitchen. It was almost funny.

Always so friendly, highly recommend the Gang Tepo.

Lovely authentic Thai restaurant in the city center. Ive been going here for lunches for years, and this time decided to visit on a Thursday night. Food is always decent, and the staff are attentive and welcoming. Authentic pad thai, spring rolls and tom yum soup. The place is not 'fancy' - decent value for money. Would highly recommend.

Not all Thai restaurants sell Yen Ta Fo (pink seafood noodles soup) and I came especially to order this, didn’t disappoint me at all. I really enjoyed it. Som Tam (papaya salad) was extra spicy to my request, really tasty. Iced Thai tea calmed my mouth after very spicy food. The restaurant isn’t outdated as some mentioned. The deco is fun and pretty displaying Thai street food atmosphere. Will return and try other dishes next time I’m in Manchester. Great service too. Thank you. 🙏🏼💖

A quirky design Thai restaurant with a nice ambience. The starters were deep fried, namely the satay and prawns, which isn't the norm elsewhere. The panang curry, however, was delicious . Not too expensive either.

Lovely looking restaurant inside, great food and service. My visit was around lunch time and there was available seating inside and I was able to order from the lunchtime special menu which was great value. I noticed there were many people coming in and ordering takeaways mid day which was a sign it must be a popular restaurant. If you are looking for a Thai restaurant whilst in Manchester this is well worth checking out. I would definitely visit again when in Manchester.

Absolutely love my Thai I don’t know anyone who doesn’t! Go back time and time again! Both my Thais are amazing, the service is incredible the women there are so lovely and the food is just amazing every time! So reasonably priced too!

Great authentic food. Atmosphere a bit trashy Thai style. A bit to much of plastic flowers. The service was prompt but a bit hectic.

Amazing little hidden gem in Manchester! Amazing prices, amazing food, amazing service. Went on a Friday night and reserved a table, though there were still plenty availible. The whole group loved their food. Would definitely go again.

The food and drink are authentic Thai tastes! Appreciate extra Thai spice level when you ask for it. I love chicken cashew nut and som tum. Thai tea is really nice too! Service is superb. They are really helpful and welcoming Highly recommended for a good Thai restaurant that’s not gonna break your wallet

Visité con mis colegas un miércoles por la noche. El restaurante tenía un buen ambiente y un montón de espacio entre mesas. El personal era muy atento y nunca estuvimos sin una cerveza. Los 6 de nosotros pedimos una variedad de entrantes y la red y todos eran 5 estrellas. Volveré y recomendaría con gusto a cualquiera que le guste la comida tailandesa

Pleasant Green Curry spicy but not to spicy, full of flavour. I wish there was more on the plate. Very clean place, nice customer service, lots of options on the menu.

There was a HAIR in the food. Chicken was overcooked and stale. Totally pathetic and disgusting.

The food tastes good, but the waiter will keep urging you to order. If you haven't finished eating, he has left and wants to take away your food. When he asks you if you want to pack the remaining food, he is actually urging you to check out; semi-open style The smell of second-hand smoke kept coming from the kitchen, and I noticed that the chef was secretly smoking. I looked at him and saw that he was holding the cigarette with one hand behind his back. In fact, the smell of smoke was already coming out. I wonder who he is!? If you want to have dinner with friends, you can take your time and think about it. It's not a good choice.

Este lugar tiene que ser el mejor tailandés en Manchester! ¡Nos encanta! Tan pronto como usted entra, hay una cálida bienvenida, el ambiente es encantador y amable. Siempre hay un zumbido de la cocina abierta que le añade encanto! Esta es nuestra cuarta visita y nos sentamos en las casetas ya que es cómodo y pedimos entrantes y un plato principal de camarones, pollo, arroz, curry y una botella de vino tinto. La comida es fresca, caliente y muy sabrosa! La factura total era de alrededor de £ 50 y bien vale la pena! Sin duda recomendaría.

An absolutely wonderful place for a great tasting, high value dinner. The feeling of the restaurant is authentic Thai, a relatively small place, but really well laid out. The food was really really good, service was attentive and excellent, and really good value. Highly recommend

Best Thai restaurant in Manchester!

Beautiful food and a great vibe. We came off the tram at Burton Road not sure where or what to eat. We are both fans of Thai food having spent time in east Asia. The restaurant looked cute from outside and looking at the food on the diners plates we were hooked! We had: fish cakes, Pad Thai and a red curry with sticky rice. All were faultless with attentive but not intrusive service. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Decidedly ordinary. My beef pad cashew was quite oily. Service was good at first but then I think they forgot we were there

One of the top Thai food restaurants I had in U.K. . My Tom Kha soup with prawns was heavenly made and so my Pad Ped curry. Delicious!! The staff and the interior absolutely a joy to experience!! I will return many times when in Manchester!!

Not as good as b4 spring rolls bad dry, the tofu in the green curry tasted like it had been cooked twice.. Flavours good though

Nice Thai restaurant. Lovely decor. Service was good, could have been quicker towards the end. Red curry was nice and Spicy. Crispy Prawn starter was not the best ,tasted like Frozen prawns and way too much batter.

I was looking for a good place to eat whilst working in Manchester. My first visit here was superb. Met by friendly staff. The food is freshly cooked, full of flavour and the perfect meal. I went back two nights in a row after. I highly recommend it

The decoration is super cozy and the soup with coconut broth and the sour and sweet crispy chicken was super tasty. I have been having difficulty finishing up my plates lately, no matter how hungry I am. But here I cleaned up both my plates till I saw my reflection 😂😋🙏🏻

If you are looking for a great Thai food experience or just a great night out, I could not recommend a better place than my Thai. It’s not my first time having Thai food, but it’s the most memorable!!!

Food was super tasty, came quick and piping hot. Staff were friendly and it’s so so cute in the restaurant, I loveeee the decor.

Served by Elle, service and food was perfect, there is a real warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Flavours are all there and the menu caters to all. Can’t wait to return!!

A fun, casual canteen style restaurant. The kitchen is opposite the entrance, and bar style so you can see the food being prepared. Service is friendly and welcoming, and the orders are swiftly processed. The food itself is very good. For my taste it could be even bolder flavoured, but we really enjoy My Thai and will be back. I also enjoyed the My Thai IPA. The other beers are less interesting and quite pricey. The IPA is a trendy craft beer, light, not too bitter, and brimming with flavour, which makes for a great match with the food.

Pad Kra Pao was not spicy, traditionally it would be but perhaps the restaurant could ask customers for their desired spice level when ordering? Other than that everything was excellent!

This is a fantastic spot in the centre of Manchester. I always get the same order of fishcakes and number 21. with tofu! Their todu is the best in town! Great value for money.

Spotted a mouse running through the middle of the restaurant! Horrified is an understatement, I have never seen anything like that before. Will not be returning. This was brought to the staffs attention as we left.

Really good food at a good price. Somewhat limited option if you’re vegan. On Sundays, they offer all you can eat lunch (12-5pm) for £8:95 which is a steal for what you get, which is Authentic Thai food and desert (tapioca). Good location. Few minutes walk from St. Peter’s square, certainly not a 5 star dinning interns of ambience but if you want a quick service ( although the speed of the service calls for a hint of concern 👀 ) this is your best location. I come here time and time again

What an amazing find, fabulous atmosphere and delicious food, we were in Manchester for two nights and ate her for both.

First time in . Welcomed immediately . Offered a table for 3 people. Perfect food nice and fresh. 3 starters 3 mains. 2 beers 1 soft drink . £70 all in . Can't complain about that either. This is on parr to our usual place. The Mews in Poulton le fylde. So we will be back to My thai with out doubt

If you're into East Asian cuisine, this place is a good option. Prices are reasonable, ingredients are fresh and high quality, and the portions are generous. The decor is not interesting, and the staff, while friendly, may not be the most helpful.

La nourriture est bonne, la quantité également (même si, une assiette un peu plus garnie aurait été appréciable). Par contre, c'est assez cher. On a payé 35€ pour deux pour 2 plats simples et 2 cocas ! Ce n'est pas donné, la note est légèrement salée je trouve ...

Amazing great food good service

We had read good reviews and saw how reasonably priced it was for Manchester city centre so paid them a visit. Arrived and were greeted and arrived promptly to a table. Had a glass of wine each and ordered 4 starter plates. The server didn’t ask if we wanted mains (we did) but just waltzed off with our starter order. It was almost like she knew we wouldn’t stay. It was full of groups of students and solo student diners which suggested we weren’t the usual clientele. Starters arrived, I kid you not, less than 2 mins after ordering. The starters were soggy and had clearly been microwaved giving them a soft and greasy texture. We ate some but left most. We paid for what we had and went to another Thai restaurant in China Town for mains. Only come if you want cheap poor quality fast food, are incapable of microwaving your own ready meal or you’re a student who doesn’t know any better. In the time between our starters arriving and leaving another couple (two 20 year olds) came ordered and ate full main courses, paid and left! We were only there 25 mins so it is faster than McDonald’s. Do us non students a favour and change your name to microwave Thai!

Upon my last visit I was subjected to very poor service. Whilst I was greeted by the staff on entry, the waitress prompted to serve two other customers despite me arriving more than 5 mins before them.  This is especially disappointing as I've had great past encounters at My Thai.

We were looking for a Thai restaurant in Manchester after our visit to the Christmas market. After checking on Google maps, we decided to head to My Thai, couldn't have done a better pick for non locals. From start to finish it has been a delightful meal. Nicely greeted as we entered without prior booking , a table for 2 was available for us. The menu is real Thai, clear and easy to understand with a selection to satisfy all tastes. The decorations of the restaurant is excellent and makes you travel to an exotic place, service is impeccable, friendly,. providing clear explanation about the different dishes and extremely polite. Definitely worth another visit next time we are in the area.

I love Thai food, and can stand heavy flavors but this was not it. I got two noodle dishes, flavors doesn't have layers of spices, it was just plainly too salty or too sweet. Fish cake was decent! Atmosphere was cute, waitress often times too busy so couldn't get their attention.

This is a Gem! Forget the posh Thai restaurants around, this is as close to authentic Thai food as I have found outside of Thailand. Food is cooked quickly, very reasonably priced for the UK, and absolutely delicious!

Easy wheelchair access. Very quick service. Excellent food - I had a mushroom soup and a Massaman curry. Both top quality. And they accept American Express! The new decor is very cute - see the pics.
