My Dhabba in Coventry

We've come here once again as a huge group before the ice hockey playoff finals. One of the highlights of the weekend away is the food here. Thank you all - especially Bishal for putting up with us all evening!! See you again next year for some of the best food out I've ever had!

We where a big group of around 10 put at the back of the restaurant which was freezing cold. We had to ask to have our order taken. When the food came it was not that great was expecting more considering all the good things I have heard. The food went cold really quickly due to it being cold where we were sat. Wouldn't recommend for big groups, will not come again.

Food as always exquisite. Poetry of taste. Pure magic. Meats are tender. Sauces flavoursome and aromatic. All together like forget it all experience. Finger licking experience.

Pinder and Nandu provided exceptional service with warmth and professionalism. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend for both great food and service.

Ambience was amazing and loved their playlist. Such a nice vibe was provided and the staff named Pinder and Anandu were so welcoming and friendly. Had a great time!!

horrible service, meh food We booked a table for 7:30 for mother’s day, came on time and was told our table wasn’t ready and we saw it still had mess from the previous customers. they told us to wait for ten minutes outside in the cold. came in and table still wasn’t ready but we just stayed because it was cold. table was cramped for 8 people and staff didn’t greet us or welcome us. there was about 2 servers. we had to approach staff to order as no one came to our table. after looking at the menu we ordered starters, two portions of samosas and a mixed grill. this took an HOUR to arrive at the table. we paid £10 for only FOUR samosas and the filling was mostly missing. drink we ordered were forgotten and staff were rude when we pointed out we got the wrong drink. staff kept coming to the table and asking what we ordered, seems like they never no who ordered what as tables don’t have numbers. we sat next to the door which was creaky and loud, and always letting the cold in. it also locks when shut so people are constantly knocking to be let in which is disturbing. whenever we had a problem it was so hard to get someone’s attention, saying excuse me doesn’t work. mains came at different times and the food was okay, but my mum found a piece of stone in her curry. when complaining about this. they said it was a piece of naan but my mum persisted and after looking they said it was a piece of CLAY from the oven the naan is cooked from and said it happens sometimes. mum said she’s not eating it and we asked that it was taken off our bill. they removed it and we paid and left. the only thing that was decent was the hot hand towels. £170 for crap. never again

I visited while away in Coventry with friends. We had not booked but we were welcomed in, and sat down quickly. While waiting to order they brought water and poppadoms & sauces. We ordered a selection of foods and drinks and they came out a little later. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. I enjoyed the garlic chicken, and friends enjoyed the vegetarian options. People we're around but not overbearing. The food was delicious, and very filling though not expensive. I would go back when back in Coventry and recommend anyone else to go as well.

We had booked an appointment, but the restaurant failed to honor it. After waiting for 20 minutes, we approached the manager, who asked us to wait another 25 minutes. Frustrated by the mismanagement, we decided to leave, expressing our disappointment. As we were exiting, a staff manager made faces at us, and another staff member came outside, shouting. In the midst of the argument, one of their staff even pushed our friend, and shockingly, no one apologized for the incident. The management was utterly disorganized and had no clue how to handle a busy crowd. However, the best part of our evening was choosing not to dine there. Instead, we went to Royal Aroma, where we were welcomed with exceptional hospitality. Their team prioritizes customer experience, and the food was simply outstanding. If you're looking for the best dining experience in Coventry, I highly recommend Royal Aroma for their delicious food and top-tier service. Staff member name is NANDU

Last two orders have not been good. It was tomato based when usually it’s not. Couldn’t eat it, unfortunately

might seem like a halal muslim restaurant based on reviews but it felt haram when we first went in lol

Pondes, was an absolutely amazing and professional waiter! The food was also delicious. While it's a bit on the pricey side, the overall experience was fantastic

I recently visited and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly lovely and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We got served by Pinder and her kindness and attentiveness really stood out, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, bursting with authentic flavors. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a warm atmosphere and tasty Indian cuisine!

We went in on a Saturday night. No regrets. Great food, speedy service and reasonable prices. As others say, no alcohol licence, but it appeared you could BYOB. We didn't, but others had around us. Recommended

I didn't like the taste of curry I ordered malai tikka but seems like normal curry nothing like that ordered and tandoori roti was without any butter not even soft difficult to chewing.

Moments ago ordered the mixed grill today for trying out for the first time and this is what I get for spending 14 £ . I mean common guys it's advertised as lamb chops and fish tikka pieces in uber yet you get one each for that price. I'm going to make a complaint in uber for misleading and false information provided. For the price tag they could have done a little more just a little more so that I could have atleast made peace since I was just trying this out. Never again going to order out again. Foods dry as well.

Falsely advertised in uber for delivery had plural for all fhe items and you get one each for a mixed grill. Worst ever food which i ordered today. Order a mixed grill and spent 14.90 £ for some rubbish dry food. The potion size is ridiculously small. I mean guys really either reduce the price or add more items.

Really poor food. Bland, tasteless. Catered to the british palette. No authentic indian spices used. Everything taste the same.

We had the most amazing experience at your restaurant. The food was very delicious. We had egg fried rice, tandoori roti, dahi and paneer butter masala, and the gravy of paneer butter masala was very tasty, cooked with Indian spices. The atmosphere was warm and perfect.

Lovely place… took my wife and 7 month old baby for a nice dinner…. Food was amazing…. The service was exceptional…. Special mention to Bishal and Pinder 😊

We’ve been coming to My Dhabba for several years and I couldn’t recommend it more. We went for a Valentine’s meal knowing we wouldn’t leave disappointed! We love the complimentary pappadoms and dips! We had a veg thali and a chicken shaksulik to share - all cooked well and yummy. The thali is a personal favourite, as you get to sample loads of mini dishes in one. Our waiter, Bishal, was also great as was everyone at My Dhabba! Good service and yummy food what more could you want!

An hour from ordering to deliver is lo ger than I was expecting. The food is always great from My Dhabba a d worth the wait.

Abolsolutely blown away by the food, it was rop notch in taste and presentation. The ambiance was great too, nice chatty laid back vibe. It would have been a really amazing experience had front of house been a little more friendly. I think they must have forgotten how to smile, it's a shame. Sitting at the front table was not great either as it was really cold with the door opening and closing all the time. Other than that, go and enjoy the food...you won't be disappointed.

The food leaked out and ruined the bag, and when the delivery guy gave it to me the bag was completely broken, all the food fell out and fell on the ground, none of it was edible, very bad

We came in early restaurant was quiet but lively and seems to be the best place to dine in when very busy. Will come again definitely .

Absolutely delicious food. I had one of their specials. Flavours were so authentic and fresh, lamb was very succulent and naan was baked perfectly. Friendly staff and affordable. The best Indian meal i have ever had. I only wish I lived in Coventry so I could eat here regularly! But if ever I visit again I will be back.

Terrible. 1 hr late and absolutely freezing. Even the delivery driver apologised. No way was this driven to me , less than two miles freshly cooked!

Excellent food as usual. Fits and Prinder really looked after us and gave us alternatives when we asked if we could replace the paneer in our meal. Can’t wait to return.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice previously, the last time being 6 months ago. When I previously visited, the service was amazing and the food was even better. Where do I start without visit today, the starters were over cooked and tasteless, the curry we ordered for our main was tasteless and chewy. We decided to pack one of our starters as we didn’t manage to finish it but this was the only item we enjoyed. They provided my wife with the take away bag and box and expected her to pack this for herself. No one asked us if we enjoyed the food or how we were during our meal. Overall, I won’t be coming again and I advise everyone strongly not to waste your money and time in this restaurant.

I was at restaurant to collect at given time even showing in app ready too collect, but I am still waiting at restaurant last 25 minutes now I am leaving restaurant, because they still need more time to ready the food. I need my money back. Very very bad experience. Because I am on job break so I can’t wait anymore.

Great tasting food good place for a fancy dine out

Decepcionado, abrumado y ciertamente no regresará. Tenía los chefs especiales y era aburrido. El arroz era duro, pero la niñera era buena. El personal de camareros fue muy abrupto y la cerradura del inodoro no funciona.

We had a fantastic experience at your dhaba served by Pinder Rits! The chili paneer was perfectly spiced, the chicken tikka was tender and flavorful, and the garlic naan was fresh and aromatic. The food was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic flavors!

Food was served cold and was inedible. Staff did not know how to handle the situation, all too young. The premises was freezing cold and we had to sit with our coats on. Never to return.
